Kaitou kid accidentally lets a delicate secret slips. Conan finds out and he is embarrassed and in complete shock of what he has found out, and he is not handling it very well. And Kaitou kid is just loving every moment of this and using his own secret against the detective for his own amusement. SPOILER Female. Changes will be made.

40. Chapter 40

Right now, the only thing that was able to pull him out of shock was when he began to change back into Conan. The whole time, he just pressed his fingers to his lips. He was able to make his exit rather easily this time around. Everyone else was either in shock or scolding each other. The mayhem was uncertain, but he had other things on his mind and could not be concerned.

Although he did sense that someone had been following him before, he was able to make it to his room before he changed. But he could not see anyone, and he had to remain calm before anything happened.

He had to gather his thoughts and think of what he had to do. And what was Ran going to do? Who would he need to protect her from? He did not like the thought that he would have to protect KID from Ran. Or Ran from KID. He was not sure who he had to protect other than Sonoko. He needed Sonoko from time to time for cases, and he could not let Ran go down for murder.

Clearly, he needed to deal with Kaitou Kid now. He did not truly intend to put the thief behind bars in the past, but right now it is for the best. That thief needed some serious help right now, and he did not want to deal with anyone right now.

'Baka' he thought to himself.

At this rate, he would be losing his hair or would have a full head of silver hair before he knew it.

Meanwhile, everyone else was thinking and saying:

"So, does this mean KID is gay?"

"Does this make Kudo gay?"

"You can't catch gays."

"Yeah, I know. But if someone kissed me like that, It might just turn me on."

"KID is so ringing to steal Kudo right now."

"Ran will murder him."

"Kudo knows how to clean up dead bodies."

"Does this mean Kudo has his own harem?"

"I hate KID!"

"You're just jealous."

"KID-SAMA!"

"What was KID even doing here?"

Hattori wanted to speak his mind. But he was torn between bluffing the truth out and staying quiet, knowing that his hat was being held hostage.

He was going to put that thief behind bars.

Meanwhile, Sonoko was sitting happily and blissfully unaware of all the people who wanted to kill her right now.

"Not that bad, Kudo," she said aloud to herself.

If she needed to protect KID like this in the future, she would sure be doing it again.
