Chapter 40 ~ School of Evil
The next day, Yomi fed Sora a unique breakfast, Swedish Pancakes, along with a cup of cold milk, a mug of warm Cocoa, and a glass of Orange Juice.
"Um, Yomi, this MIGHT be a bit much for me." Sora admitted, until Yomi said, "Energy is imperative for this mission, Master. You're heading into my team's old stomping grounds after all! And I want you to be ready for anything, and what better way to be prepared than with an energy boost from my one-of-a-kind breakfast!" While Sora enjoyed the cocoa, he had to ask, "Wait, you, Homura, and the others used to go to that school?" Yomi answered, "We did, we went on missions together, studied together, killed together, even bathed together! It's like Hanzo National Academy, except with a built-in dorm for the students."
Sora then asked, "Well, I get that much, but…I'm just confused about why you-?"
"BATH TIME, YOU REAK!" Yomi interrupted.
Tossing a suddenly-stripped Sora into the pool in the bathroom, Yomi threw off her clothes, dove in with a bar of soap and bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and suddenly, the entire pool became a bubbly and soapy while Sora was tugged and washed by Yomi's aggressive and thorough bathing procedures. Her attempts to clean Sora were almost SUFFOCATING!
"Y-YOMI! C-CAN'T BREATH! LE'GO OF-!"
"YOU'RE NOT GOING OUT TO THAT HELLHOLE WITHOUT A GOOD SCRUBBING TO KEEP YOU CLEAN EVEN ON YOUR RETURN HOME, MISTER!"
"I'M CLEAN ENOUGH WITHOUT YOU PULLING MY ARMS AND LEGS OFF!"
"You talk as if I'm killing you, that's FAR from the truth. I'M JUST GIVING YOU THE 5-STAR TREATMENT! Bend over now."
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HA-HAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
An Hour later…
Asuka giggled at how red-yet-shiny Sora's skin was while Yomi smiled in happiness…
Asuka then asked, "...did Yomi…?" Sora answered, "She got closer than Kairi…she got…TOO close." Yomi then said, "My Master deserves only the finest of cleanliness. (blushes) He was actually rather cute and frisky, like a puppy trying to get out of his bubble bath. Admittedly, I may have…had too much fun cleaning his body."
"HOLD ON, DID HE SEE YOU N-?!" Asuka asked. Yomi answered, "Relax, his eyes were too distracted by all the bubbly water covering my appearance! If I wanted him to see me naked, I would have had him faster than you can say boys-to-men."
Yozakura however glared behind Yomi and said, "Such action would earn my wrath, Bean-Bust. Try to keep your care a rating of E for Everyone, NOT M. GOT ME?!" Yomi however said, "It's cute how you're still trying to be the 'Wife'. When's your Snow Queen going to compete for him, anyway?" Yozakura answered, "COMPETE?! Where did THAT come from?" Yomi answered, "Well, assuming your role is STILL a technical role, I almost assumed Yumi was heartstruck by my Master." Yozakura then said, "Gessen Academy ISN'T run by just anyone, maid. Yumi runs the school for her grandfather…so, she can't really…compete. So, I endeavor to prove to the Keyblade Master that Gessen is as good of a side to take when the enemy comes knocking on his door!"
Asuka then said, "Well Sora, I'm sure Sensei told you everything about our next mission?" Yomi nodded while Sora answered, "Infiltration Mission, we'll be going into enemy territory to settle with the High-Class Evil Ninja students sent to kill me. All while hopefully getting any information out of them relating to Toki's plan…and seeing whether or not one of the Four Fiends is actually in their school." Asuka nods and explains, "We didn't have time to celebrate the defeat of the Kraken last night, but we'll try having a make-up party ALONG with one celebrating this 3rd Fiend's defeat if this mission ends the way we hope it will."
Sora then saluted and said, "I'm ready to follow your order, Asuka! LET'S STOMP SOME GROUND!"
Asuka then took Sora out of the city and into a grassy field where they found the rest of Asuka's Team, Katsuragi, Ikaruga, Hibari, and Yagyu, waiting for them while standing before several wooden gateways painted red…
"Hmm…From one angle, those gates KINDA look like a pathway somewhere." Sora said. Asuka then explained, "The explanation there is…they DO lead somewhere. One path leads to the shrine beyond that path, and…well…for a proper sorcerer, they can be a bridged pathway to a realm of shadows-."
"-The Realm of Darkness?!"
Sora's shock was somewhat surprising to the group, making Ikaruga ask, "This…path COULD be called such, but we were never familiar with such a realm. Is this similar to your realm in some way?" Sora answered, "No. It's entirely different. The Realm of Darkness is a place of black emptiness, where rotting remains of stolen and devoured worlds reside until their heart is restored…the World's heart, I mean. If left alone for too long, whatever remains of that world is gone forever, sinking deeper into the darkness. I've actually seen inside the Realm of Darkness, and nothing lived in it but the Heartless…and more. Demons can exist within the realm, as well as people who not only embrace such darkness, but twisted people who are commanded by it. It was the center of where Ansem-no…Xehanort's Heartless absorbed and created Kingdom Hearts. AND it was where the water's toxin could somehow corrupt and madden even the most heroic people, including Aqua, my predecessor of the Keyblade."
Kat then said, "...WOW…there's definitely a LOT to unload about such a place. Luckily, we'll have a celebratory party after this nightmare is over, then, maybe you can tell us more about these dark things while we're making out-."
"SHADDAP KAT!" The Hanzo Girls yelled.
While Katsuragi smirked, Asuka said, "W-well, I doubt the Hebijo Academy is literally IN such a realm, but take it from me, they hide their school under a protective spell that conceals their presence. The Toriis here are somewhat of a path to their hidden school."
Sora was a bit confused by the new word Asuka used to describe the red gateways, so Asuka explained, "Uh, the 'Torii', they're what Japanese call these gateways here. Entrances through these naturally lead to highly-established locals such as houses, castles, schools, and even shrines and temples. Toriis are awesome." Sora then said, "I can see that. These…Torii, they're pretty cool, the way they're put together…kinda feels like history has a presence with these things."
Ikaruga then said, "Sora? I didn't know you gained an interest in Japanese culture." Sora nodded and said, "Exploring the city and trying some of their food kinda got me hooked for a little more." Ikaruga then suggested, "Well…then our celebration could be expanded on with…"
Yagyu then said, "Kyoto."
As everyone looked at Yagyu, she explained, "If Sora's gonna hang with us AND feel a taste for Japanese culture, then we should take him to see Kyoto, a true historic landmark of emirates, samurais, and all the sushi you can imagine."
Sora then asked, "Kyoto…is that part of the city?" Asuka then explained, "It's another location, Southeast of Kabukicho, a bit of a long train or bus drive over, but maybe we can have some time to hang there during the weekend?" Kat then said, "I don't see why not, good idea, Yagyu. I'll reward you with a good fumbling whenever I have the-." Yagyu pulled out her blade and threatened, "TOUCH ME IN ANY WAY, AND IT WILL BE THE LAST TIME." Kat nodded while Yagyu said, "It's a deal then, Sora. The 3rd Fiend dies, and we're partying in Kyoto." Yagyu patted and tugged Sora and Hibari over to the Torii Gates while Kat asked, "HEY, WHY IS HE ALLOWED TO TOUCH YOU?!"
Asuka then said, "Anyway, like I said, Hebijo related ninjas use these gates to pass into the outside world while the school itself is hidden away from prying eyes. THAT'S why when it comes to sorcery, Grandpa has these counterseals to temporarily cancel out the protective barrier." Sora then said, "So, he gave you some to help us in?" Asuka nodded, "Yes he did…but FIRST, Sora, could you look away?"
"Why?" Sora asked. "Just look away." Asuka answered. Sora STILL asked. "OK…why?" Sighing, Asuka answered, "Just look away! You're not allowed to see where I keep it. It's…a secret!" Sora then said, "But we're on the same team, also, a pocket's a pocket. Reach into the pants and coat and pull to reveal your gear! They're not so spe-wait, what are you doing?" While Asuka was debuttoning the 2 buttons near her neck and on her chest, Ikaruga explained, "Sora, THIS pocket isn't for men to see. Please turn away." Sora shyly nodded while Ikaruga directed him away, giving Asuka the time to reach in her cleavage and pull out a seal that she immediately threw into midair while chanting and performing a spell of hand-signals and dismissal…
After a few seconds, Asuka turned towards her friends and said, "Alright everyone, the gateway is open! We have to hurry!" Ikaruga nodded and tapped Sora's shoulder, letting him know that it was time to look back over to Asuka while everyone else headed over. Yagyu and Hibari carefully went first while Sora curiously looked into the opened gateway and saw an enormous Edo-style castle surrounded by dark clouds…
Asuka then explained, "That's Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, where its students are trained and raised as assassins and thieves." Sora then said, "Like Miyabi, Imu, and the other 3." Asuka nodded while saying, "Once we step in, we may never leave, so be ready for anything…" The team then entered the Torii Gates while Sora took a deep breath before following them…
As Sora walked through however, he was surprised to find himself alone before the Hebijo school…
"...Asuka?! Kat?! Hibari?! Anybody?!" Sora called out. Unfortunately, none called back to him, making Sora worry for his teammates while proceeding to the school.
As Sora approached the gates, he was surprised to find they were barely opened, indicating that the Hanzo students may have hurried into the school while he was away. Sneaking quietly in, Sora kept his eyes open for anything that might attack, and yet, he had no clue of the two who already noticed him walk in…
"Hey Sis, look who's late to the party." A blonde girl with different-colored pupils said. A brown-haired girl with similar eyes walked to her sister's side and said, "It seems his idiot Teacher took the bait after all, sending his students AND the Keyblade Wielder through our doorstep." The blonde then asked, "Mmm, well if THAT'S the case, Ryona calls DIBS." The other sister however said, "Not if your big sister has anything to say about it, this quarry belongs to Ryobi."
