Wedded Bliss

Chapter 1

(In space)

A strongbox was floating in space and was headed to Earth. It was about the size of a safety deposit box. It landed in the water and started to cool and stayed there for 100s of years.

(Paris, France)

A young man was on vacation, enjoying his time, and seeing some old friends. One of them was a young woman named Marinette Dupain-Cheng. 'Miraculous Lady Bug'. He was a multi E-Sports World Champion, his name is Adam Williams. He was a big guy, around 6 foot 7, 265lbs muscle, black hair in long braids, and silver eyes. He was in a white tank top, black cargo pants, boots, and a vest. His family was at the beach having a good time. His younger sister was swimming when something happened. He sensed something was up and raced to the water.

He dove in and saw his sister was unconscious he was about to drag her out when something hooked itself to one of his belt loops. He pulled her out and felt for a pulse. She had one, but it was slow and she wasn't breathing. So, he started to perform CPR and it worked she started to come around. She was taken to the hospital. As she was, Adam was looking at the box he had picked up. It was elaborate and covered with markings that started to glow.

'What is this thing?' He thought he didn't notice that he was being followed by some people trying to take the box.

(Adam's hotel)

'Okay, it started to glow when I touched it.' He thought, 'but what is it?' It opened up revealing a plush interior and 13 rings. One male and twelve female rings, one for each sign of the zodiac. He took out the male ring and noticed that it was a wedding band. 'A wedding band?' Just then, it started to glow and suddenly, he was knocked out. The last thing he saw was all of the rings launching off to parts unknown.

(An hour later)

Adam had started to awake to the touch of someone stroking his hair. He saw a young woman with black hair and aqua-colored eyes. She was in a T-shirt, jeans, boots, and a white jacket. "Are you okay?" She asked Adam started to sit up. He rubbed his face and felt something metal on his left ring finger. Then froze, and quickly looked at his hand to see the ring on it. He tried to pull it off but, it wasn't budging.

"How did you find me, Maria?" He asked she started to blush.

"Um well," she lifted her left hand revealing her ring. "This little guy led me to you." It was a diamond and garnet ring. On the sides of the ring was the symbol for Capricorn. He looked down at his ring and saw it was glowing in the same color.

"Right now, tell me how do you feel about me?" Maria was startled, "look me in the eye and tell me the truth." She looked away and took a deep breath. Then looked him in the eye with tears in hers.

"I love you, 'A-train'." She said, "with every fiber of my soul." He sighed.

"What I thought."

"What do you mean?"

"While I was out, I was told about these rings. They bring out your true feelings. So, if you say you love me, I'll believe it." She grabbed him in a tight hug and kissed him. "Okay, we need to find the others."

"Right, but how are we going to that?"

"It has to be the rings." He said, "either we find them."

"Or they find us." She finished, "great plan hun!" He got up and started to stretch.

"Okay, let me get a shower and we can go." So he went to take a shower and got dressed. He was in a tank top, cargo pants, and boots. Maria was just staring at her new husband. She noticed that he had Samoan warrior tattoos, his hair was now in a braided mohawk. He grabbed a hat and looked at her. "What?"

"Nothing, just appreciating, a masterpiece." She said. He rolled his eyes and was about to leave with her when his finger started to burn.

"We got one close by."

"Where?"

"East," he took her hand. "Come on." So they headed up to the roof of his hotel. He put his fist in front of his face and concentrated. He can see her in his mind's eye. He can also see a small creature behind him. But, Maria was behind him. He turned around to look at her. "Who's the creature in your purse?"

"You can see her?"

"Looks like a huge ladybug? Yeah." Then said ladybug appeared, "who are you?"

"My name's 'Tikki'." She said.

"Nice to meet you, why do I get the feeling I stepped into something?" Maria just blushed.

"Because you have, A-Train." She looked at Tikki and they nodded. "Spots On!" Just then Maria was in a tight red bodysuit with black spots, her hair was in twin pigtails.

"That suit's tight." He said, he suddenly lifted his head up and smirked. "Got her!" He picked her up and dove off the roof.

"ADAM!" She screamed.

"HANG ON!" With that, he landed on his feet and flew up after landing. Then he took off, searching for their spouse.

(Near the Eiffel Tower)

A young woman's heart was beating fast. She had long auburn hair and brown eyes, she was in a T-shirt, jeans, sandals, and glasses. 'Why is my heart beating so fast? And what is this ring?' She thought the ring had a diamond and amethyst wedding band.

"Alya, are you alright?" Said Trixx, her kwami partner.

"I… I don't know… what's… wrong with… me. Trixx." She said, just then she collapsed. Just then, she was cradled by a huge guy. She looked at him and was in love. She saw Maria, behind him. Just then she reached up and kissed him on the lips, passionately. Then he pulled off.

"Alya, are you alright?" Asked Ladybug, Alya looked at them.

"Uh… um." She said but, Maria calmed her down.

"Don't worry, he knows about the kwame." He helped her up.

"Name's Adam Williams." He said, she threw her arms around Adam. "Are you okay?" She nodded and grabbed his arm. "Come on, Maria needs to get out of that outfit." So they went somewhere so she could change clothes. After she did, they walked out. "Everybody's okay?" They nodded, he sighed in relief.

Meanwhile, someone was watching them and he grabbed a phone. "It's me." He said, "he's got the box. Kill him, take the rings and the girls!" He hung up and glared down at them. 'Now I will have all power!' He thought.
