"I have good news!" Barnacles announced after everyone was in the room.
"your getting fired?" Kwazii asked.
"no. how is that good news?" Barnacles replied.
"no clue. is Tweak getting fired!?" Kwazii yelled.
"no ones getting fired!" Barnacles responded while Tweak scowled at the ginger cat.
"so what's the good news cap'?" Dashi asked from where she was sitting, Shellington resting a paw on the back of the chair.
"we're going on vacation!" Barnacles declared.
"this isn't going to be like last time where we ended up saving those snails is it?" Tweak questioned.
"nope! because this time its three days and two nights and we're staying in a hotel!" Barnacles replied.
"a hotel?" Dashi said in a suspicious tone.
she flinched when she felt Shellingtons paw slipping off the back of the chair and onto her shoulder before quickly moving to his side.
"sorry" he awkwardly whispered.
"yep! I've already booked three two bed rooms!" Barnacles explained.
"who will take care of the missions?" Tweak asked.
"I've already told the vegimals, professor Inkling and the octo-agents and they've agreed to take care of it" the polar bear explained.
"this is going to be awesome!" Kwazii exclaimed.
a few hours later they were all fully packed and ridding in the gup-A. they had different outfits on as well. Barnacles was wearing matching red and white hawaiian shirt and shorts. Tweak was wearing a light yellow sundress and had traded out her pink headband with a light yellow one. Dashi was wearing a white tank top with a light pink flower pattern and a light pink skirt. Shellington was wearing blue swimming trunks and a loose light blue T-shirt. Peso was wearing a simple heart necklace and was now fiddling with it. Kwazii was wearing only a blue and white hawaii shirt, not even shoes.
"hey Dashi, bet you five dollars Kwazii's going to hurt his foot" Tweak whispered to the dachshund.
"alright" Dashi shrugged.
"I'm bored. when are we getting there?" Kwazii asked, looking over at Barnacles, who was driving the gup.
"considering what the time was when we left, we'll actually probably get there about right after the sun sets" Barnacles explained, not turning around.
"oh man! we won't even be able to check out the brunch!" Kwazii groaned.
"we left at three pm and also we'll be able to check it out tomorrow" Tweak replied, rolling her eyes at his antics.
"why don't you guys decide who'll be sharing rooms?" Barnacles suggested.
"I am not sharing a room with Kwazii" Tweak said almost immediately.
"hey Dashi, you wanna share a room?" Shellington nervously asked.
she nodded with a smile.
"one time the captain fell asleep helping me with one of the gups. I'm sharing with Peso" Tweak said, pointing at the penguin.
"wait what's happening?" Peso questioned, not having been listening.
"what does captain Barnacles falling asleep helping you have to do with who your sharing a room with?" Kwazii asked.
"he snores like crazy" Tweak responded, wide eyed.
"seriously!? I won't get any sleep if I share a room with him!" Kwazii complained.
"we're talking about sharing rooms?" Peso wondered aloud.
all four of them nodded.
"I wouldn't mind sharing a room with the captain. I always wake up at a specific time and for some reason I can never wake up before then" Peso said.
"but then who will me and Tweak share a room with? because she said shes not sharing a room with me" Kwazii responded.
"well then how about this, Dashi and Tweak share a room while you and Shellington share a room?" Peso asked.
"okay with me" Dashi smiled.
"oh boy! no boys!" Tweak said before giving a quick laugh.
"I'm alright with it" Shellington said before a small yawn came out of his mouth.
"I need to pee" Kwazii said, his legs folded over eachother.
