Growing tired of following the council and his mother's rules, Prince Deuce tries to persuade his mothers to send him to Monster High, on the condition his best friend/advisor Heath accompanies him. But when a threat to the school is uncovered, can he save the school without revealing his identity?

14. Chapter 14

'' You what?' Clawdeen asked, surprised. '' I love you, Claws, I've loved you since the day I laid eyes on you in the hallway, and despite knowing I'm a half- monster, we didn't judge each other, but I just wanted you to know how I felt ab-' Deuce began. '' I love you too, Deuce, I loved you since the day I met you too' Clawdeen softly answered. '' Really?' Deuce asked, and his vulnerable tone made her heart break. '' Yes. I love you' Clawdeen softly murmured, as they shared a soft kiss, and one of his snakes nestled into her forehead.

'' Oh, Lyra, there you are, honey. I was hoping we could- Why do you have your suitcase?' Medusa asked. '' Because I'm leaving. Are you going to inform the council?' Lyra answered, bitterly. '' Where are you going, my love?' Medusa asked. '' New Salem, I can't be here anymore, and I certainly can't watch you be the council's puppet anymore, and this way I can be closer to our son' Lyra answered, as she put her suitcases in the trunk and started the car. '' When will you be back?' Medusa asked, worried. '' I don't know' Lyra murmured, as she drove off. '' What have I done?' Medusa muttered.
