Chapter 8:
The Owl was interrogating Nick. "Look, I don't know what chip you're talkin' about," says Nick, "I'm just a babysitter and..." His phone starts to ring. "If I don't answer, this could ruin everything for you guys!"
"Give him his phone," says Owl.
One of the Owl's goons hands him his phone. "Oh, hey Mrs. Pickles," says Nick, "no, everything's fine!" A goon sneezes. "Oh... uh... some of my... friends came over!"
The Owl gestures to the goons as Nick holds the phone up. "Uh... yo, what up?"
"Groovy!"
"What," asks Nick, "you want to talk to Tommy? Oookaayy..." Nick takes the phone to Tommy. Tommy tries to tell his Mom what's going on, but he only speaks baby. "Yeah, bye." Nick hangs up. "Groovy?"
"I haven't been a teen since before you were born! Give me a break!"
"Enough," says Owl, "where is that chip?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," says Nick, "the only chip I can think of is Chip Skylark!"
"Boys, get him to talk," says the Owl.
"Look," says Nick, "Dora the Explorer!"
They all look and Nick takes the kids away.
"Find him," says Owl.
...
Nick was trying to call the cops. "It's bad enough you guys don't give black guys respect, but at least answer our calls!" Nothing. "Great, how did I get into this mess?" The chip then falls out of Tommy's diaper. Nick sees it and picks it up. "Is this... you have... oh, that's typical! I should've known! You kids are nothing but trouble! My life was fine before I met you guys! I thought we were getting along, but you have the one thing that's gotten me into this..." The kids start to cry and Nick realizes what he's doing. "Guys, I'm sorry," says Nick, "we're gonna get out of this!"
"How," asks Susie.
"Those grown-ups are mean," says Angelica.
Nick sighs. "I don't know..."

"Don't harm the kids," says the Owl, "but the babysitter... that's another story!"
