Chapter 10:
The Owl was holding onto Tommy. "Come on, Man," says Nick, "this isn't necessary!"
"You think I like holdin' a baby hostage," asks Owl, "no! But since my whole operation is being threatened by a teenager, two three-year-olds, and four babies... I might have to resort to drastic measures!"
"Look, Owl," says Nick, "if you want the chip, here! The chip for Tommy!"
"I knew you were a smart guy," says Owl, "but to make sure, I don't want none of that superhero, soldier, knight, space hero, ninja, cowboy stuff!"
"Wait, how'd you know about the soldier thing," asks Nick.
"Just give me the chip," says Owl.
Nick was about to hand the chip to the Owl, but then he stops. "Wait, why do you want this chip," asks Nick.
"Does it matter," asks Owl, "in case you haven't noticed, I have a baby in my arms! Look, I don't want to hurt him. I even got a kid of my own! Here's a picture of my little Big Boy."
Nick takes a look but does not find the baby that cute. "Oh, he's... something," says Nick.
"So, give me the chip, before I do somethin' we'll all regret," says Owl.
"Okay, relax," says Nick. He then steps forward, but Tommy pokes the Owl in the chest with his screwdriver.
"GAH!" The Owl then lets go and Nick grabs Tommy. "I'm gonna..."
"Let's roll," says Nick. Nick and the kids then run while the Owl chases after them...
...
They were in a dead-end. "Kid, you're gonna wish you were never born," says Owl.
Then they all heard police sirens. "I called the cops during that imagination fight," says Nick, "what? You think I wouldn't consider that?"
The Owl then admits defeat. "Well played."
Just gonna say, the Owl's son is based on Big Boy Pickles from that nightmare Angelica had. She is definitely an only child here. I probably didn't need to say that, but oh well.
