[And…. Yeah. That's what happened…]

The uncomfortable silence was deafening to say the least.

But in Gale's head, it was a bunch of curses all at once. Mixtures between "Shit", "fuck", and "Crap" along with other colorful words I would not name. Which it always means in her words that this is bad.

Yeah, she wasn't taking this well. For many reasons.

For Theo…

"What?!" he shouted, taking Gale's phone off her hands to look panicked at the screen, "You're saying they have Blue and her lackey's and are coming here!?"

He wasn't doing so well either. I don't think any of them were.

"You're saying the darkness got a hold of the mafia and is now coming for us?" asked Apple, not liking this at all just as much as the rest of them.

"I mean…." Gale really just wanted a break and had better time than life or death situations with her siblings, was that so wrong? "I've dealt with Blue before, and the darkness multiple times. How hard can it… yeah, it's gonna be hard."

"Gale." Drake looked at her expectedly, worried and stern all at once, "How do you know Blue that well?"

Theo pointed at him while looking at the eldest White, "He's right. I've known her for years before I left. Me and Harry were her friends along with Katrine and I only met you way after me and Harry left."

[Wait, you know her?] said Harry, still on the phone.

Gale didn't want to tell any of them all this, especially to Apple and Drake. She did not want to tell her about… that time and telling Drake about it just sounds so awkward.

This was very clear. It was a conversation that she wasn't ready to talk about at all.

"Well…. She and I… Well, we used to get along…"

Vague, she knows. But it was the best she got. At this rate, she makes every excuse just to get out of this situation.

[Gale…] she froze at the voice on the other side of the mirror phone. It wasn't Harry. [You and I both know there was more to it than just that…]

'Shit.' she thought

"Katrine… please…"

"Gale?" Apple asked, worried about whatever was going on as to why her older sister was keeping something from everyone else.

Gale tried to reel in the more important situation back into the important conversation, "Right now, we need a way to stop her. We have to alert the students and staff immediately and put this place on lockdown. After we do that, then we'll think of a plan. But right now people's lives are top priority."

Briar immediately takes out her mirror phone and sends a bunch of messages, "I'm alerting everyone at the party to stay in their dorms and calling Blondie to meet up at the headmaster's office tomorrow. They might be skeptical and confused though."

"And someone needs to keep an eye on the book in case something happens," Drake said, "It'll take two people. Anyone up to help me?"

Theo raised his hand. When Drake was about to protest, Theo answered, "I want to do it and no one is stopping me, even if you don't like me all that much, Drake."

The knight knew this was just a big excuse to get away from Briar's lectures and untold questions, it was very clear. But in all honesty whether he liked the guy or not, he did feel bad for him as well. He was the eldest son in the family, afterall.

"Fine." Drake said, turning to walk away, "You can come."

"Yes!" Theo replied in joy, which quickly turned to anxiousness as his sister's glare was burning through his soul. He quickly hurried to Drake's side.

Gale yelled out to Drake, "Take care babe! And remember-!"

"Yeah! I know. I love you and always kick some ass."

Gale chuckled in fondness as she held her chest to where her heart was, "You know me so well."

"Gale!"

"What, sis? These days people don't really care if someone curses."

Apple sighs out. It was true and all but still.

The witch patted the princess's shoulder out of sympathy, causing an squeak. Not that Raven really heard though. "We better start now." said Raven, fearing about what was to come if the darkness were to strike at night, "We better put this place on lockdown and deal with the upcoming questions later."

They all nodded in agreement, and started getting to work. Though almost all.

[Gale…] called out Harry.

The leader glanced at her phone and then back the rest of the people with her, "Excuse us for a moment." she looks back at the phone as the others start getting back to work, "What is it?"

[There's something I want to talk about with you.]

Katrine cut in as well, [Me too.]

"I'm sorry, you want me to do what now?" asked a bewildered and tired Blondie Lockes as she sat at her bedside looking at her Mirror phone as if something were pulling her leg.

It was the brick of night already. The moon shone to illuminate the dorm room as the stars were laced onto the ink sky. Most of the animals out in the enchanted were either sleeping or the nocturnal ones were hunting for prey or just there, minding their own business.

The party already died down and every student had gone to bed getting some shut eye to get ready for the next day after the fun party. Blondie was just about to go to bed to get ready to find her next big scoop for her Mirror Blog tomorrow when she got an unexpected and sudden call from Briar.

When she answered her mirror phone, she had to make her friend repeat what she had just said just in case Blondie wasn't hearing things.

[You heard me the first time] replied the lively girl, [You have to come over tomorrow mourning asap in Headmaster Grimm's office and have a interview with him about the upcoming mind controlled mafia that is approaching along with the bunch of secrets that were revealed]

The blonde reporter blinked once. And then twice. Then thrice. She tried real hard at what Briar had just said, and asked if this was some sort of joke.

I mean, who would believe all that?

[No joke. I swear, it's all true! The headmaster knows all about it because he fought this thing and hid it from everyone and is willing to confess it! The mafia is coming for us all corrupted by an evil threat!]

"... Are you sure you're alright? I remember clearly how Sparrow spiked the punch bowl-"

[Yes I'm alright!] shouted Briar, shocked that her friend wasn't believing her, [Blondie, we had gone through an adventure where we had to play each other's roles, then Ever After was doomed by an evil Apple at Spring Fairest, and then Wonderland! This doesn't seem too out of place around here! And our school seems to be the center of it all!]

Even though it sounded like Briar was overreacting too much, she did make a good point. This school has been the pinpoint of so much drama, adventure, and crazy shenanigans that it was unbelievable how the school board hadn't addressed this at all.

Blondie had to admit, this situation Briar had said seems to be plausible, but true though?

"You're a very dear friend Briar and I know you wouldn't lie about something about this, but I need proof that this is all true first. I can't be giving out false information that might cause a panic." the reporter said sternly.

[Yeah, that makes sense. Look, I swear that all of this is all true. And I'm telling you this now because people's lives are at stake]

Blondie was silent and thought this through. It seems like Briar is telling the truth. And this was the most serious she's been since the whole Thronecoming event. It was making her worried.

"Alright. I'll come over and do the interview. But if all of this is true, then this will be big."

[I know. And all of us are gonna be fighting tooth and nail because of this]

(Story pauses)

…. Okay, real quick you all, I'm pausing this story right now but I gotta ask. Is this a bit too much for a bunch of teenagers?

Kitty: Ummm… Maybe?

Brooke: Well, the canon show had a lot for a bunch of teenagers so I guess this isn't too big.

Maddie: Besides! I'm pretty sure most of us here, like you said, are capable at a school like this. And people have done a lot of it too before so…

Yeah, thanks. Just making sure.

Continuing!:

"Who else knows?"

[What?]

"Who else knows, Briar. I doubt only you and the headmaster know about all this." Blondie clarified.

After a couple of silence, Briar answered.

[Apple and Raven know, and I kinda just overheard and got myself involved. And a few others know but don't go here. Now don't worry, these people are trustworthy.]

She didn't need any more clarification, "That's all I need to know. See you tomorrow."

[See ya] and the call ended.

Blondie looked at the empty black screen, wondering to herself. It seems like another situation at Ever After High, but for some reason this seems more…. Severe to her.

She couldn't really pinpoint it, but something inside her chest felt like this might change everything unlike all the times Ever After High had gone through.

"Mmmm…"

Interrupted from her thoughts, the blonde reporter turned to the other bed and noticed that her pink haired goddess roommate was stirring herself out of sleep.

"Cupid, you're awake."

Cupid rubbed her eyes as she sat up to look at Blondie, "Yeah, I kinda heard Briar yelling on the mirror phone. What was all that about anyway?"

Blondie just gave her a weird gaze and a vague answer, "Something that might possibly just turn this whole school around."

Cupid gave her a tired and questioning look, but decided to say "Okay" and go back to sleep, letting slumber overtake her and leaving Blondie alone to her thoughts at night.

The reporter sighed as she got ready for her own dreamful night, anxiety filled with uncertainty like any other about this strange case she had got involved with. Which was a first.

But hey, at least she got an interesting interview tomorrow for her Mirror Blog. though now, she wishes that she were on vacation.

She sighed in her head before she drifted off to sleep. This was just right at all.

There were many things that Giles Grimm had to take note of when it comes to something that was unfair. Especially to his brother when it comes to sealing children's fates to their ancestral fairytale destinies. But this night seems more… bizarre and worrisome.

For one, his brother came back looking tearful and in despair. Then he says that he were to have Miss Lockes for an interview saying that he would be revealing a bunch of secrets and also stating that they were to be ready to fight tomorrow.

The statement was unsettling to say the least.

"What do you mean there's going to be the mafia marching at our doorstep tomorrow?!" the younger Grimm shouted in disbelief, trying to rap around his brother's words.

Milton's expression was sullen and sad as he looked down. He felt bitter inside as the guilt gnawed at him. He needs to explain everything. And his brother's reaction and response to all of this won't be so pretty.

"Sit down brother and… I'll explain everything…"

Giles Grimm, no matter what his brother does, would never hate him. Even if he does something stupid or unfair.

But now… that was being tested on.

"Gahhh! Why…" whispered Gale, consoling in her brother's comfort as he just patted her back in sympathy for his sibling.

The White siblings (Except for Apple, who was sleeping in her and Raven's shared dorm room) were sleeping at a guest dorm room arranged by the headmaster.

After they got to know each other, had some fun, played some games, and bonded well for siblings, they tucked the younger kids to bed while also trying to get Aaron to sleep ("Can't we talk about dragon's more, Gale?" "It's time for bed, kiddo. We'll talk about them another time. I promise."). As the triplets snoozed away to dreamland, Gale confided with her Axel about the Blue situation.

"Can't say I didn't warn ya. Yeah, I warned ya." Axel said, dryly. What, he may care for his siblings, but there are times where things like this were just… well… like he said, he did warn her. Multiple times.

Gale narrowed her eyes, "You're supposed to help comfort me like a brother right now."

He just smirks, there are just a few times he could tease his sister like this, "Well, I did warn you not to get involved with Blue in the first place before we knew she was the big mafioso of the crime organization. And then I also warned you that she might come back to get us and you have to deal with explaining all this to your boyfriend."

He was right. Not that she wanted him to be right. But it was always hard because most of the time he was always right.

But still. She still has to pay the price for her carelessness.

"I just… I didn't want to deal with her now. And now it's not only Drake that has to know but Apple. I just… What would they think?" she said, sorrowful.

Axel watches as her sister looks down at the ground, trying to hide her shame, "I won't lie, they might be mad and scold you for it, but they'll get it. They'll get what happened and be proud of the right choice you made at the end."

Gale didn't know if it was true, but she trusted her brother enough to believe it, "Get to bed,"

Axel was about to, but stopped, "What about you?"

"... Just making a few phone calls."

The younger White twin wanted to question further, but he was too tired to, "Alright."

When his snores were heard, Gale sighed to herself, grabbing her Mirror Phone and dialing the numbers.

Apple waited patiently at her bed, anticipating Raven to come in. The witch had stayed back to discuss some things with her grandfather when Apple left for their room. And after getting ready for bed, she waited… and waited.

She was starting to miss Raven… very badly. Especially since she started avoiding her.

"Aw, look, little miss perfect princess missing her villain. You really are a wimp!"

There was that voice. The voice that taunted her for weeks on weeks. She was wondering when it was gonna appear all day.

She knew who that voice belonged to. Because the voice sounded so similar to herself.

It always taunted her. To the point it almost-

The door opening luckily stopped her thoughts and also the taunting. And then in came her beautiful roommate, Raven.

"You're back!" Apple said, happily.

"Yeah, I just finished talking with Grandpa." Raven said, looking down in thought.

Apple took notice of this. And like any other person that is in love, she'll try to ask what was wrong.

"It's nothing really." said Raven, scratching her neck, "Just wanted to have a quick chat, that's all."

Raven needed to tell Apple one final truth, she can't keep anymore secrets. She wants things to change for her family and wants to tell the one person that she cares about the most in the world.

Though, it's still nerve racking when it comes to telling a secret.

"Hey Apple," said Raven, looking at the girl she loved, "There's something I want to tell you."
