Chapter 7 Coming Together
Kim, Bonnie and Shego are moving into their own house. Shego was showing them around while their families all are helping with the move in. Except for Shego's. She flat out refused to call them. No love lost their. They were looking at the bedrooms. This one was for Bonnie and Kim. It had a queen sized bed and a walk in closet, and full sized bathroom. A crossed the hall, that was going to be the nursery. The had two cribs, two changing tables, two of everything, that expecting parents could ever hope for.
Then they walked into the kitchen. It was huge. All stainless steel appliances, A fully loaded knife block. And only the best silver wear and fine China plates and bowls. Then the living room had a very expensive sectional that sent the hole way a crossed the back wall. A giant flat screen tv and an all glass coffee table. But when Shego took them to her side of the house, it was a different story. Her room was small, barely enough room for her full sized bed. She had her small bathroom, was almost as wide as they could reach with both arms out. And her living room was half the size of theirs, with a small flat screen, and only one chair.
Bonnie and Kim couldn't believe Shego wanted to live like that. She deserved to be happy too. It wasn't like she had to suffer such tight quarters. She probably could not even breath that much on her side. Most people would call that claustrophobic. But she said she was happy there.
On their first night in the house all their families had left leaving the three women alone. They sat in the living room sitting on the sectional. Kim and Bonnie sat together in the middle, while Shego sat off to the side. Bonnie was thinking to herself that it wasn't right that she does that to herself. Trying to hide in the back ground when she should be sitting with them. After all she is part of their lives now. She's the third parent after all.
Kim was watching Bonnie scrunch up her for head as if deep in thought and something just didn't add up. She tried to look into her eyes, but she had them focus off to her right. She was looking at Shego. She was focused on the tv. Kim looked at the raven haired ex villain, she looked sad. Like she shouldn't even have been there in the first place. She would have to talk to her girlfriend about what she was thinking about.
At bedtime Bonnie still had that look in her eyes. And it was time she spilled what was eating at her. As the laid down and snuggled up close to one another. "Bonnie, what's eating at you? You have that look in your eyes again." She asked her. Still not understanding why she knew something was wrong.
"Do you really v want to know? Cause the answer might make you mad." The brunette said, looking Kim dead in the eyes. "I was thinking about Shego. I don't think it's right that she stay over there in such a tiny area. She would be on this side in the spare room over here. It's as spacious as ours." She said, looking like she was getting mad. Kim knew the look well from high school.
"Bonnie, I'm not mad. I know what you mean." She said rolling onto her back. "I seen how sad she looked sitting by herself. We should have said something to her. Or, asked tell her she can sit with us, and not so far away. She is part of this." She said, while patting her lower abdomen.
Bonnie, snuggled up to Kim, to continue their conversation. "I know. And that why I think we should talk to her. Tell she's more than welcome to join us. Be part of our little family." She softly said to her girlfriend. As if she we're about to get yelled at.
"Well, that's not a bad idea. But what do we say about her living conditions? You're right, she should be in the other room on this side." The former teen hero said. That got a surprised look from Bonnie.
"You do? I though you were going to get mad about what I said? I mean she is your ex arch nemesis who tried to kill you on how many occasions? It's just..you know, it's... like, well I don't know?" Stammered Bonnie. Trying to spit out what she was trying to say. Well it's shocking really." She said as she sat up on her elbow to look at Kim.
"It's no big sweetie, cause just like you, other people can change too." She said as she looked deep into Bonnie's eyes. "And, that one day at the restaurant, down by the dorms, she told me she had feelings for me."
Bonnie laid back down onto Kim, started to speak again. "You know, that's why I love you. You are so forgiving and you can bring out the good in people." She said happily, nuzzling into Kim's neck. "And you can still find ways to shock me. I'm always surprised when I learn something new about you."
The hero hummed onto her girlfriends for head, kissing as well. "Mmm...I love you too, BonBon." She chuckled after using her mom's nickname for her.
Bonnie sternly looked at Kim. "Only two people, on this planet, are allowed, to call me that!" She gritted her teeth while saying it. "My mother, and, you" she started to laugh.
Kim started to laugh as well, as she knew Bonnie wasn't mad. "I thought you were really mad at me. Until you started to crack."
They snuggled up together again, and were fast asleep in no time. They need to be up early to go to their first doctors appointment in the morning.
The dark figure is standing in front of a mirror's in the master bedroom just staring at himself. He starts to remove his hood to reveal a head full of blond hair. Reaching behind his head, he undo the buckle that is holding his face cover with the voice scrambler. Now that his face is visible, only to look up to reveal his full identity. An identity that is all to familiar. A former high school student, who just so happens to be a slacker, who made his grades off the backs of others. He is none other than Kim's former boyfriend, the one and only Ronald Stoppable.
Ron is planning his revenge since Kim just walked out on him 6 months ago. 6 months ago they had a major argument about his slacking. She knew he was a slacker in high school. So he bungled up a mission or two back then. He did his part by causing distractions so Kim could save the day. But, they were older now, and suppose to be more responsible. Kim was responsible enough for the both of them. Why was he suppose to clean and cook and do the shopping. Kim could handle all that.
But then again, that's what they argued about. He was doing anything but eating snacks and playing video games. What was so wrong with that. I didn't have to do missions anymore since Kim was learning about art. After she graduates college she should be able to afford s maid and a cook. That way he wouldn't have to do anything.
But she left him holding the bag in London. No money to live on. Or money for a plane ticket home. He had to beg his family to get him home. He came up with a plan to get revenge on Kim as soon as he took care of Drakken after he and Amy got her and Bonnie pregnant. He could always take Bonnie an eliminate her child before it's born. That would take of that bitch. But for Kim, he figured on kidnapping her, making her go full term, and then take the child for his own. He would raise it to hate Kim as much as he does.
Then again, he still needs to find a way to get them both alone, so he can pick them off one at a time. He couldn't wait to make them beg for forgiveness for what Kim did to him. Rumor has it that Bonnie and Kim were an item now. So once Bonnie was dealt with, Kim will be all broken up, and then it will be easy peasy for her to be pick up. And then he would have what he was seeking. His revenge will be so sweet, he can taste it now.
The next next morning Kim and Bonnie woke up still snuggling each other. Ad they awoke they looked at each other with smiles on their faces. Both still remembering about the talk they need to have with Shego. It was important that Shego felt included In their lives, and their children's lives.
Still looking at each other Kim was the first one to speak. "Good morning beautiful. How did you sleep?"
Bonnie looking back at her girlfriend, returned the good morning with one of her own. "Good morning my love. I slept very well thank you. You are the best pillow I ever had. How did you sleep?"
"It was the best I've had in a while. I love you, you know." Kim said to her brunette girlfriend.
"I love you too. And how are we going to have this talk with Shego? I want her to feel welcome around us." Bonnie said, while still laying her head on Kim's shoulder.
Kim looked at her girlfriend, trying to figure out the answer. "Well, I think we should just start out subtly, you know, as not to anger her. Or we could just go out and say point blank that she doesn't have to be separated from us. She is more than welcome to join us on the sofa, dinner, breakfast and all of it. She needs to be part of our lives for our children's sake."
Bonnie looked at her, "I like the latter part. We just go out there and tell straight up, we want her to be apart of us. And our children's lives. It's the only right thing to do."
"Then lets get up and get to it. No putting if off. No backing out. We'll confront her together." The hero said, as they both started to get out of bed to go talk to Shego.
In the kitchen, Shego was having coffee at the table, when Kim and Bonnie came in. It looks like they have determined looks on their faces. Shego was getting up to go back to her side of the house. Bonnie stopped her. "Where do you think your going?" She stood in front of Shego's door to her side of the house.
"What? Why are you in my way?" Shego grumbled, giving Bonnie an evil stare.
Kim walks up behind the raven haired woman to add her opinion. "We just want to talk to you. That's all. Come back and sit at the table with us."
Kim and Bonnie put their arms in Shego's and walked her back to the kitchen. They all sat their when Bonnie asked, "Why did you by this house? And why are you living in seclusion? Why didn't you take the other master bedroom? Don't you want to be here?" Bonnie asked with rapid fired questions.
"Whoo whoo whoo, slow down duchess. What's got you so riled up?" Shego said as she was confused about what was going on.
Kim reaches out and puts a hand on Shego's. "We're just worried that you really don't want to be here, why your so secluded?" Kim asked.
"Oh, that." Shego said as she looked down at the table. Take a deep breath. "I don't want to come between you guy. You look so happy together. I don't want to ruin what you guys have. I bought this house because it had another side. So I took that side for my self. That way you girls can live alone on your side." She explained, still holding hands with Kim, when suddenly, there was another hand on her other hand. This one from Bonnie.
Bonnie looked into Shego's emerald eyes. "Well we don't want you too. We want you to join us. You apart of our little family too. Even if you had not know what that blue bastard did to us, your DNA part of our children's too. So your in this as much as we are. So join us on this side of the house, sit with us as we watch tv. Stay in the other master bedroom. For crying out loud, you don't have to do that to yourself!" She yelled out, stunning both Kim and Shego.
"Look I'm perfectly fine with how i live. I bought this house for you two to be comfortable. Why do you care about how I live anyway?" Shego was now getting frustrated with the confrontation.
Kim added her thoughts too. "Shego, sweety, you looked so said sitting all alone on the sofa last night. Your just forcing yourself to be alone. Come with us, hang with us. We won't bite or complain about how close you sit with us. Be part of us please." She begged.
"Fine!" Yelled Shego. "I'll try to be more sociable. But you probably won't like me being that close in the long run. You'll just ditch me like everyone else in this world." She said raising her hands above her head. At the same time both girls grabbed Shego in a group hugs. This, brought a smile to Shego's face.
It was that evening evening that Shego joined the girls for dinner. Bonnie, of course, did the cooking while Kim was doing the dishes. The raven haired woman just sat at the table and watched the others do their thing. Wondering if she should get up and help one of them at least.
"Do you guys need any help with anything?" Shego asked, hoping to find something to do other than just sit there.
Kim was the first one to reply. "Sure. You can come and help me with dishes. You can dry and put them away please and thank you."
Bonnie on the other hand said she didn't need any help. She was standing at the stove stirring what was in the pots and pans on the stove, while the oven was baking the main course of the meal.
Once they all sat down to eat, Kim sat on one side of Shego, while Bonnie sat on the other. The only v sound during the meal was just all of them eating. Shego looked to Bonnie and complimented her on such a delicious food.
After dinner, Kim was once again doing dishes, to clean up after dinner to keep kitchen clean. Once finished they retired to the living room to sit on the sofa and watch tv. Once Shego sat down in the one corner, Bonnie sat down right beside her, and leaned over to lay on her. Kim sat down next to her and played her head in Bonnie's lap.
Shego was stunned to see both girls cuddling on her. She didn't realise that they weren't lying about wanting her to join them. She reached an arm around Bonnie, just to see what would happen. What happened was Bonnie grabbed her arm and held it. While Kim interlaced her fingers with Shego's. This brought a smile to the ex villains face. She was starting to feel at home all of a sudden. Her heart was feeling things she didn't expect.
When bed time came around, Bonnie and Kim grabbed Shego by the hands and pulled her up off the couch and lead her to their bed room. Kim spoke up. "Until you move your stuff over to the other master bedroom, come sleep with us. If it's ok with you BonBon?"
Bonnie looked at Kim and told her, "Well, I don't mind as long as Shego doesn't mind." They looked to Shego to see what her answer was. And with a nod from her,Kim and Bonnie lead her into their room and piled into bed. Bonnie next to Kim next to Shego.
While laying in bed, thing were peaceful till Shego had to get something off her mind. "Why are you guys being so nice to me? I mean, all I ever did was cause Kim trouble. What could the two of you see in me I don't?" She asked, while looking to both girls.
"Shego, you showed me how much you change since that faithful night when our worlds changed.I did something that I truly regret. But after that, we became friends. At least I hope were friends. Especially after what you told me at the restaurant."
She said while looking into Shego's face.
"Oh of course were friends." The raven haired woman said. "And what I told you was true. Every word of it."
Bonnie feeling left out of the loop. "What are you guys talking about? What am I missing?" She asked the two women in bed with her.
Shego and Kim told Bonnie about the night of the little Diablo incident. How Kim kick Shego into the tower after telling her how much she hated the emerald eyed woman. And how when they met the second time at the restaurant, and how Shego was hiding the fact the she had feelings for Kim.
"So she has feelings for you as well. But we ended up together instead." Asked Bonnie. Wow, how did I luck out and she didn't?" She asked Kim. Kim just blushed, because she suddenly had a dream about them being together with Bonnie. And the same happened to Bonnie the same night that Kim had hers.
After talking for about an hour in bed, they all said goodnight and went to sleep. Bonnie snuggled Kim, while Shego took a chance to lay on Kim as well. To her surprise there was no rejection from Kim. So together they fell asleep snuggling. A big smile on everyone's faces, peacefully falling asleep as if it was the most ordinary thing that happened everyday.
