8-year-old Kimberly Mitchell sat on the front steps of Miss. Olga's Orphanage For Girls. Another year had gone, and another adoption fail. As she watches the sky, the older kids came running up the steps and knocking into her or trampling over her bag. Once the older kids all disappeared, Kimberly picks up her bag and dusting it off.
Looking up, her eyes widen when she saw the Winter Solider. Kimberly tried to push herself to get up, but couldn't, terrified and frozen in place.
The Winter Solider looked different, he was holding his right arm to his chest as he limped slightly, he never even noticed the child watching him.
Kimberly finally snapped out of it with a shake of her head and lowered herself down so the railing of the steps hide her as she watched the Winter Solider. She frowned, he looked hurt. But that could be because he was in a huge battle with Captain America and the state of Washington is trying to clean up.
The Winter Solider then leans on some dumpsters, still cradling his right arm.
Kimberly bravely stood up, turned and hurried into the building behind her.

Bucky Barnes had is eyes closed, his right arm hurt and he was tired and confused. And his stomach grumbled. Not to mention he could remember his own name. Ever since he visited his own memorial at the Washington Smithsonian, bits of his memory was slowly coming back. But his brain was still fuzzy and healing.
Suddenly, a tapping on his foot made Bucky open his eyes to see a young girl, gently tapping his foot. "A - are - are you hungry?" She asks nervously, holding out a sandwich for him. The Winter Solider just stared at her. "It's ok." She tried. "It's just squished." She smiled just a little bit. "I accidentally sat on it at one point too." She set the sandwich down on a plastic baggie.
"Kimberly!" A voice shouts. "Where are you, you brat!?"
Kimberly turns back towards the building, then turns back to the Winter Solider. "I should be scared of you, but right now, you don't look scary." She slowly backed away, still watching him. "It's ok to have my sandwich, I wasn't hungry at lunch."
"Kimberly Diane, come out of hiding or be stuck on laundry duty!" The voice came out louder and more firmer.
Kimberly turned, then turned back around to see the Winter Solider still staring at her. "By." She gave him a small smile, before she turns and runs off, disappearing around a corner.
Bucky stared after the little girl for a long moment, then his eyes darted to the sandwich. He reached for it with his left hand.

Inside his recovery room, Steve laid on his bed, resting.
"Classic music Wilson?" Natasha asked as she stood in the doorframe with a smirk and a paper bag in her left hand.
Sam Wilson looked up from his book. "Yeah." He smiled. "It's his timeline music." He points at Steve.
Natasha rolled her eyes, but kept her smirk.
"Do I smell burritos?" Steve asked, his blue eyes on the paper bag in the red head's hand.
"Straight from Toco Bell." Natasha moves into the room and hands him the bag as she perches herself on the side of the bed.
"That smells good!" Sam grins.
"Nah huh, these are for the Captain." Natasha shook her head at him, quickly making Sam pout.
The door slides open again. "Capsicle!" Tony Stark smiled as he walked in, carrying something. "So glad your still alive and with us!"
"Thanks Tony." Steve sighed, he look a glance at Natasha. "I think." He then dug into his burritos.
"Now is that anyway of saying thanks after I retrieved your shield?" Tony scoffs, mock hurt as he reveals Steve's shield. "Honestly Steve, stop losing it."
Natasha turns her attention back to Steve. "Do you think you got through to Barnes?"
"I don't know." He shook his head. "But who else pulled me from the river?" He asks.
