Alfred walked through the Manor's halls carrying with him a silver platter containing Bruce's breakfast, making his way to one of the living rooms of the mansion and opening an old grandfather clock, pushing a mechanism to reveal a secret staircase. He went down into Bruce's base of operation, a cave underneath the manor that has been converted into a large facility for him to store gadgets and various technologies he would use in his crusade.
Pennyworth found Bruce standing in the middle of the large center of the base tinkering with the watch like he almost always did, ever since obtaining the object Alfred could hardly tell a moment where his master wasn't using the device in some capacity, only when it was recharging or 'timed out' was when Bruce took upon himself to focus on something else.
"Sir I brought your-" a booming green flash interrupts Alfred as now a tall flaming humanoid made of magma rocks with large fires coming from his head and shoulders stood in place of Wayne, who began analyzing his new form skeptically.
"I hope you don't plan on using this while in the manor, I wouldn't want the stench of smoke to get on the carpets" Pennyworth commented in a rather unimpressed way to the new alien form, as he catches Bruce aiming his hand to a stone wall, before a blast of concentrated fire comes out melting down the stone. He did this for ten seconds before stopping, moving over to generating more complex shapes with fire with a amazing level of control that even Alfred was impressed before walking over to the computer to register the combination for the alien, Alfred was surprised the buttons weren't melting off.
"This transformation took me a few minutes to get the right code. I need a way to unlock all of them available at all times." Bruce said as he files the alien amongst others in the computer, the first ten that came with the device while others have been unlocking through different codes and combinations, so far he only found a single code to allow him changing forms while still transformed, but each time the charge was diminished so it wasn't perfect.
"I thought the initial 10 were the only ones in the watch, but you seem to be unlocking new ones every day so I don't see the rush" Alfred had to make adjustments to this part of the manor, the cave was large and spacious enough to accommodate the devices but also serve as a testing ground for when transforming. The difference in size of some would indicate that one of the forms might be too big for a room made to humans, hopefully none of them were too gigantic and heavy.
"But the limit doesn't change, every time I unlock a transformation it locks another from the current rotation. I have found 26 aliens so far but can only use 10, unless I insert their code to swap out another out of rotation" Bruce had been tinkering with the device for a while and came to the conclusion that this was a form of safety lock, a way to limit the potential destructive power of the device in case it had fallen in the hands of perverse individuals. But surely there was a code to unlock the full power of the device, a form of master control that truly stripped away the limitations of what he could accomplish for Gotham
"I'm sure you'll be able to use Grey Matter to figure that out, it was while transformed into him that you discovered the codes in the first place" the butler responds as he remembered the small frog creature gave Bruce quite the intelligence boost, not that he wasn't smart before but when in that form he seemed to be talking scientific nonsense to Alfred, however it was able to find out that the watch could be modified through inputs of codes
"Grey Matter? You came up with a nickname for him?" Wayne asked a bit surprised, so far he hadn't thought of naming any of the transformations since he knew they were himself, there was no need to go by another name when turned into them... But he should probably use a nickname for when outside in case of transforming back to human, maybe something like Omni-man or Alien Legion could work.
"Honestly I have been doing it for the others as well, which makes it easier to remember than just 'the big one' or 'the hairy one' while using comms." Pennyworth said quite bluntly, most of the aliens while not looking similar did overlap in certain regards and just calling them by one distinct feature wouldn't cut it the more he unlocked, decorating all different names wouldn't exactly be a field of flowers the more his master got of them, hopefully the limit isn't above the 100's
"Register those in their respective files, could be of-" the silver platter Alfred has been carrying is placed to the side of Bruce which contains a cup of tea, toast, bacon and eggs along with a note about the subject of a board meeting at Wayne enterprises.
"I insist you to eat sir, there is a meeting in Wayne Tech in an hour" Alfred explained to his master that he should at the very least be preparing for the reunion of the board, he couldn't stay in his cave all day and ignore his life as Bruce Wayne.
"I can make it in 12 seconds using one of my transformations, this is more important." He dismissed the proposal, seeing his duty to protect Gotham and uncover the secrets hidden in the alien device, he already spent 12 years away from the city so he could afford to spend some more time out of the public eye.
"I haven't seen you sleep since yesterday. 20 hours is quite a lot of time for patrolling the city, even the likes of aliens or vigilantes need to rest" Alfred had concerns about this new path his master was taking, even if the watch made the chances of Bruce getting hurt or dying smaller than before, Pennyworth worried about what it might do to him considering all the power this aliens gave, not to mention anything they might alter on the Wayne in terms of perspective or attitude, the device was still unknown to them.
"I need to stay vigilant no matter what. Crime doesn't rest, neither will I, Gotham needs my full attention" Bruce ignored this concern, he had trained his mind to deal with this type of mental strain, using certain transformations also helped combat this the less organic they were. Fusing with technology with one alien in particular seemed to be the best way to regain energy by draining the battery, although it did about the same as a cup or two of coffee depending on the charge
"Must I remind you that for your alien heroics to keep going, Bruce Wayne needs to be active as well, you need an alibi in case a connection is formed between both. Even for a recluse playboy, you are barely seen when not in a board meeting. The watch not only can't be removed but is still very eye-catching, especially considering the resemblance of the hourglass symbol it has compared to the aliens own." Alfred expressed some other concerns with this lifestyle, Bruce had just come back and needed to be a member of society in order to blend in and not catch attention, for as useful as the watch was it couldn't be more vital than him maintaining his civilian life, if he lost that... The alien vigilantism would truly become the only thing in Bruce's life
"I need to, I can't save the city by myself... It's humanly impossible, but with this I can do things no human can such as putting an end to the crime and corruption in Gotham." He clinched his fist as Bruce had fully accepted this was the only way to fight his war against crime and actually win.
"If you say so... I still advise you to attend the meeting, it is your family's company." Alfred gave him this response after leaving the silver platter, moving on to leave the cave while his mind worried about Bruce's goals and well being. 'You spend so little time as yourself compared to your alien forms, I fear you will begin to forget how to be human.'
"Alfred." The Wayne called out as Alfred was going up the stairs, his fiery face emotionless as he finished archiving the alien, the butler looks back at him
"Once the transformation times out, you can drive me to the meeting... Thank you for staying by my side, despite everything about this." He said, still looking at the monitor's screen but his tone of voice still carrying the impact of his emotions, Bruce had made walls around himself and they were tough to break. But despite all the pain and tragedy he had endured, despite how alien and inhuman his body may currently be, there was still compassion inside of the last remnant of the Wayne's
Alfred gave him a nod, smiling softly with a reassurance that Bruce hadn't lost his most important quality, humanity.
"Some of you already know Detective Essen, she came back to Gotham from Lakeside to help with the investigation" Jim introduced the blonde to the rest of his co-workers, who seemed more interested in her looks than what she would bring to the table in terms of investigating the occurrences
"Alright, alright. Listen, our alien monster problem as the press is calling has been reported in over 70 agraveted assaults, amongst other transgressions in the past five weeks." He couldn't even believe this himself, they were practically being invaded by aliens and nothing could be done about. Most confusing was their behavior, saving lives and stopping crime didn't sound like the type of behavior from multiple different extra terrestrials to share amongst each other, but it was also saddening to see inhuman beings have more morals than his fellow officers.
"During this time a few new ones have come to light, but certain patterns came up as well. Most if not all have black and white uniforms of sorts. But a detail they all share is this symbol located in their bodies, leading theory is that they are part of a single group, anything else is uncertain for the moment" Gordon couldn't be sure but this details seemed to lead into another direction, call it a hunch but the fact all had this same icon and similar uniforms felt more important. Being part of a group might make sense, but why would so many different creatures appear in different times? Shouldn't all of them run around together, even if they were spread out around the city the fact two of them are never seen together felt important
"Culprits Swamp, Vampire, Chill, Mummy and Ghost have been consistently spotted in between midnight and 4 am like it's some sort of Halloween movie." These guys were only being grouped with the aliens because of the symbol and uniforms, but they could pass as supernatural creatures by the descriptions and few caught glimpses, the only solid footage they had of them was a museum camera catching what seemed to be an actual mummy from Egypt stopping the crime.
"Diamond, Clone, Salamander and Monkey seem to focus on the East end. Fish Jaws and Red Lobster have only made appearances near water, currently Speed and Four Arms are the most active during the day light hours. No idea where Ball or Imp focus their efforts" Gordon tried to show the sketch drawings and camera glimpses they had of each, some of the policemen were not taking this seriously while others were disgusted, not that he could blame them since most of these seemed to be straight out of an occult book for weirdos that think in aliens, but that was their new reality
"These aliens and monsters are climbing up the crime ladder, from junkie to pusher to supplier." Jim was surprised by this fact if he could be honest, when invaders from outer space do a better job at tackling crime than an entire police department who was trained to do this, it makes them look like an embarrassment for the city. Yet the organization on these attacks felt surprising, well made for creatures that shouldn't be able to comprehend most parts of human society, the reports from these cases also seemed... Odd
None of the aliens spoke in them, at least not from the accounts given by the criminals, but the way they went to stop crime... What do these things gain from this? A way to gain public trust would make sense, excluding the fact some of these creatures seemed powerful enough to take out the whole department if they wanted. The alien with Four Arms seems to have thrown a car with explosives into the docks with relative ease, the Speed alien runs faster than any vehicle registered in all of Gotham or really Earth itself, the more these things popped up less confident Jim had on Gotham resisting a takeover... Yet the aliens didn't seem interested in doing that whatsoever
"No one appears to be safe, not even cops... Right, detective Flass?" He looks at the dirty cop who had a broken arm and neck from the looks of it, his face had a prominent black eye as he sits in front of the group
"That thing could have killed me" he said with an expression that didn't impose more than just a slight scare, still he had been with that expression ever since they found him and patched him up from his wounds
"Why don't you tell us what happened? And try not to exaggerate, I know the subject is absurd but we need accuracy." This alien stories for as crazy as they sound had at least some form of truth in them, but the problem is that something so spectacular messes with people's perspective, causing them to exaggerate whatever the event was and thus making it harder for the police to get a solid idea of the type of powers most of these things had. Not to mention possibly fake encounters going around, they couldn't afford to spread the force to be even thinner than they could
"It's like I said in my report, I received an anonymous tip leading me to an East End cocaine delivery." Flass began to tell his side of the story, leaving the fact he was there taking a bribe and watching contently as the delivery was being made
"I was in the process of single-handedly apprehending the felons when it came out of the night sky, wings 30 feet across." He recalled something huge coming down from the sky and flying above them. A red humanoidmanta ray-like alien with green eyes, black outlines on his face, yellow horns extending from his nose, gills underneath his arms, yellow patagia which he uses to fly and glide through the air, and two black lightning bolt-like stripes coming down from his shoulders to connect into the white uniform with thatsymbol on his chest.
"One of the felons I had not yet disarmed produced a gun, fired point-blank. The bullet passed right through the creature from how fast it moved, like it wasn't even there." The alien glided through the air so effortlessly and fast that Flass barely could understand the way it moved, almost like it was a blur or a bizarre kite creature roaming around.
"Something shot out of his eyes, some type of green beam. Paralyzed everyone except me, it singled me out." Flass was taken aback by the alien's sudden laser beams hitting the other criminals trying to fight it or run away, he thought they were dead but those lasers seemed to only incapacitate them. But how it looked at him, Flass knew it was going for something personal or at least that this alien had a bigger desire to beat him up than those other criminals.
"I'm telling you it had fangs and claws, and was ready to kill me." He finished off to his fellow officers but most just laughed at him for being a chicken, granted none of them believed most of the story themselves except for a few who had encounter another alien before.
"Gentleman, Please." Gordon put order in the room, this was no laughing matter even if Flass deserved it, these aliens weren't something they should take for granted
"It seems we have a new one, press already calling him Flying Manta so we have to step it up. We need to bring any of these things for interrogation, find out what their objective is and how many more of these freaks we can expect." Jim concluded the meeting, hoping the officers would take something from it but these days he was just hoping to make back home in one piece, trying to piece together this alie madness along with his normal part of the job was no easy task, but if he wanted to make this place even remotely safe for Barbara and his future child, then he needed to push through
Another few hours pass, before he goes on patrol and the radio is silent, there was a reported breaking a few minutes ago but the speed steak he saw go by already told him one thing, the Speed alien was already there and had finished the situation. Even patrolling the city at day didn't have anything pleasant to look at, ironically the darkness of night covered up most of the ugliness the city had to offer
So at best he could take in the view of this rat cage of a city, now with aliens for an extra bit of insanity. How could this have been one of the safest cities in the USA at one point is beyond any logic he could muster, from where he could see this was nothing but a god forsaken hole for crime
'This city is going to be the death of me, this isn't a place to raise a kid. Not even before the aliens came into the picture, Gotham was always just this-' Jim isn't able to finish his thought process as a distant but rapidly approaching sound of gun shots comes to his attention, as an armored car wildly drives across ramming any other car in the path. The red masks worn by the driver and the two men at the back with machine guns give away who is responsible, the Red Hood gang was pulling another heist
But who they were running away was another surprise altogether, nicknamed Ball by the police he was a large alien creature capable of curly up into a ball and move around in high speeds, the yellow shell seemingly indestructible from how the bullets were bouncing off from him, not to mention reports of him effortlessly going through walls or large fires.
Stepping on the gas, Gordon began following closely behind the pursuing wrecking ball to not only stop the stolen armored truck but also at the very least try apprehending one of the aliens. Bullet casings were being emptied without a care in the world by the criminals, they wanted to get away from the rapidly approaching ball before it smashed into them, eventually through sharp turns and ignoring the signal they end up in the highway.
"We can't shake it! We need something bigger!" A member of the gang shouted out as none of the bullets seemed to work, that thing was still after them in rapid pace
"Let's see him take one of these!" A third member in the armored truck responds by shoving the other two gunners aside as he starts to aim a bazooka at the alien, the explosion seemed to work as it destroyed the part of the highway that Cannon bolt was in. Gordon barely has time to change course as to not fall the same hole, now he had to keep up the chase and save the dead alien for later.
Under the rumble, the large alien got up and analyzed his environment before setting a clear path to roll back into the chase. Gordon was doing his best to shoot at the criminals with one hand while keeping the other in the wheel, he got lucky enough to hit the shoulder of the left red hood and disarm him, but the middle one was still reloading the bazooka while the right kept firing in order to stall for time.
How did this happen? The Red Hood gang are just some young new mafia trying to chip in to make a name for themselves by attacking bigger families, yet somehow they got access to a military grade weapon to pull a simple bank heist? Gordon shouldn't be surprised considering the creatures running around town, escalation was bound to happen when aliens decide to take their hands into a war against crime.
"Time to become a nice overdone bacon, pig." The red hood member prepares his shot to get right in the square face of Gordon, a small chuckle as he begins to press the trigger, before the large cannonball alien speeds on from another highway lane in a large jump, hitting the side of the armored truck with so much force it tripped the vehicle, causing the missile to be launch out into the air and Gordon was fortunate enough to not be hit, instead a billboard for Ace Chemicals is blown into pieces across the highway.
The police tenant does his best to stop the car, in order not to crash into the vehicle. Luckily he comes out just in time to see the alien responsible for this mess was still in the vicinity of the truck, even if that also put him at risk of being attack by the laser fingers or fire breath this abomination might have.
"Stop! Put your hands in the air!" Jim ordered the vigilante as he hold him in gun point, but he knew full well this was only a bluff considering it survived a missile to the face and was bouncing bullets off the shell thing it had. Gordon could see from the alien's expression that it also knew this fact, yet didn't try to resist or attack him, just staring back at Gordon while carrying the driver out of the truck... But he removed something from the suit he was wearing, that Gordon couldn't quite see but it made the alien irritated from the looks of it.
"They were a distraction, a dead end" the alien's voice was almost goofy if it wasn't so deep, still Gordon didn't understand what exactly he meant for this... Until he realized that all of this armored truck chase was just a red herring, to distract the police or more likely any of the alien vigilantes walking around the city, no wonder they were packing heat, they needed to be convincing
Still, he had a job to do, so with a heavy gulp Gordon moves to arrest the illegal alien for interrogation.
"I don't know what you are but I'm taking y-" a booming green flash blinds Jim as the alien slapped the insignia on his forehead, the police tenant covers his eyes for a brief moment before shooting, when he could see again is when Gordon realizes that no longer was the massive alien there but instead a whole lot of nothing, he scratched around his head before moving in to finish arresting these hooligans. All the while unheard footsteps make their way under the bridge in a lizard-like fashion.
Far away from the Gotham underbelly, various people of influence were gathered in the Falcone mansion doing a feast, without barely a care in the world as they lived in this luxury life born out of corruption, this night whoever their world would be turned upside down into the cosmos as Bruce made his way to the place
The drivers were easy to take out of the picture, a sedative chemically administrated to them by a injection in the neck was no problem for the alien vigilante to inject without them noticing, especially in his current transformation.
Meanwhile on the inside the rich of Gotham were discussing and eating contently, chit chatting about the new fade taking over the city.
"Have you seen any of these things going around the city, they say most are huge and scary" a woman asked Commissioner Loeb as she poured wine into her glass, not even looking surprised about this thing but more so amused
"You shouldn't pry, Marian. Gil has his hands full these days, we're trusting him to cope with these freaks of nature." The anchor of this gathering responded, Carmine Falcone was part of the oldest crime family in the city and had quite a bit of power around almost every sector, this gathering for example had many of the most powerful and rich people in Gotham. Faces known for their positions of wealth and power over sectors of Gotham
"Well, whoever or whatever these things are, they are having a positive effect on the public spirit and tourism. Street crime has dropped significantly, hell Gill maybe you ought to offer one of these creatures a job." Another guest comments with a joke to accompany this statement, some of the others laugh but Falcone doesn't take the joke so lightly, he seemed actually worried a out the implication
"Hey, hey. Let's not kid ourselves, all of this is costing us all money." Falcone didn't like this change of pace for the city, all of these monstrosities appearing to disrupt the organized crime that he has been running would not be appreciated, they caused too much chaos for his liking
"Two sides to everything, friends. Look at the long term, a few street operators are put out of action, yes. But the people of Gotham have something to talk about, and focus all their attention on a bunch of alien 'heroes' that make them feel safe." Loeb gave his view on the subject, while these pesky alien distractions were a bother to deal with, they were nothing more than a few low crimes being stopped and the only big ones were revolting on that gang of wannabe mafia, as long as these 'heroes' kept stopping the Red Hoods and made the people focus on them. Crime could continue as normal for the most part, and as commissioner he had the man power to choose wether to hunt down the freaks or not
"And the safer they feel, the fewer questions they ask. Right, Gill?" Another guest adds to that statement, since with a false sense for security the people of Gotham wouldn't focus on the bigger things happening underneath, after all they would only focus on the flashy 'aliens' going around
The flambé is lit up in the room as Falcone has a reflective look on his face. Thinking about how all of these could come in to bite at their operation harder than anything his family had faced before
"I don't like stirring things up, and with Gordon pushing internal affairs to go after Flass... Would be difficult to replace Flass, and if he were to talk-"
"Let me worry about Flass." Commissioner Loeb shut down that line of thought with an reaffirming tone, as his position in the police gave him the tools to end Gordon's little plan if he truly wanted to, if Jim turned into a problem he could be killed like any other man.
"Relax, Carmine. I got everything under control". Loeb responds while finishing taking a bite of his stake, before a smoke bomb comes crashing through the window
"What's happening?" Carmine asked infuriated before all the lights got cut down without warning, placing them in the dark with only the uncertainty of fear.
"The lights! What happened to the lights!" Marian screamed in panic as the entire room was not only in the dark, but was getting progressively colder. Before a large green light comes from the windows catching their attention, as they all see the window start to grow ice at a rapid pace as a ghostly figure passes through the window slowly like it wasn't even there, like an actual haunting.
"Ladies, gentleman. You've eaten well, you've eaten Gotham's wealth... It's spirit, but your feast is nearly over." Spoke the chilling alien as he becomes more visible to the people watching, a humanoid moth-like alien, whose four wings and two antennae-like wings were fold up into a poncho-esque robe with a hood, giving him the appearance of a phantom. He has a black body with blue patching on his slender chest, and running along his legs and arms, the latter reaching up to the back of his neck. He has cyan patches that resemble ice chunks on his legs and arms. Thick black lines border the back end of each wing, which also contain three cyan patches of their own.
His face is blue but has harsh black lines surrounding his eyes and mouth, which all meet at the center of his face. He also has a black marking on his head that extends over his scalp, forcing the remaining blue parts of his forehead into a Y-shape. His eyes are bright green, with small darker spots inside which truly gives him a bug like look. His mouth is a frown showing four bluish-white teeth, which rarely moves, even when speaking. He has three pointed fingers and a thumb on each hand, and three toes on each foot: two in front and one behind.
"From this moment on... None of you are safe." The alien said menacingly to all the on lookers, his big bug eyes having an expression of coldness more chilling than the air, as with a simple whisper he kills the fire with a faint ice breath. Sending the whole room into complete darkness, where none of the people there could feel the warm safety of their status, but only the cold declaration of the alien vigilante
[Author's notes]
Leave a review as it really helps the creative process, follow and favorite to support the story
So I changed a bit of how the Omnitrix works, giving the limit of only ten aliens being available to use at a time but with the possibility of changing them out for others by imputing a corresponding code, for now this will be the main limit of the watch before I decide to give him Master Control. I went with this because him having no time outs and changing form with a thought right at the second chapter would honestly be ridiculous, saving it for later on when more dangerous elements show up, such as Vilgax.
For now I am staying grounded for the most part in the beginning, but soon Bruce will start to face more threats that can match his aliens, from his own rogues gallery and some of Ben's own. In terms of villains I plan on having some while appear, but the likes of Joker or One-off villains from Ben 10 are likely not to appear due to their placement, Zomboso overlaps with Joker who I still haven't decided on what I will do with this version, since Vilgax could fill his role as Bruce's arch nemesis (but apparently you can't make a Batman without Joker somewhere, going to work shop something in the mean time)
Jim Gordon is going to be a secondary protagonist for this arc of the story, giving a more grounded outlook in the alien madness going around. Not sure if he will be relevant in every chapter, but that would depend on the story being told in that chapter, this applies to everyone aside from Bruce himself due to being the protagonist obviously.
Now to respond to some of your reviews:
To The mysterious Mr.E: I am still deciding whether or not Alfred was the plumber partner of the Wayne's as of this moment, the narrative is still being conceptualized and I don't know which elements from Ben 10 to add or which to exclude. I mean for all intents and purposes the Plumbers could just as easily be replaced by the Green Lantern narrative wise, DC cosmology is vast to the point it can become clutter if I begin putting Ben 10 stuff as well (might have to cut on the DC side of things, but that also removes some opportunities for cameos and lore)
To afonsopinheiropedro: Omni-man is a good one, but as of right now I don't have a name for his super hero identity aside from the alien codenames (but honestly I will use Omni-man if needed)
To SombraZorro70: I was also surprised by that fact, plenty of people agree he would be busted but I guess no one tried to write a narrative around this scenario, makes me want to do more Omnitrix fanfics with different characters. But I don't know what character or which franchise I should choose.
To Guest: Yes, I will be using Year One as a base but will include original segments as well to make the story unique, Vilgax's arrival is going to be quite the shake up for the relatively grounded crime fighting so far.
To BloontheGoon: Killer Croc is interesting indeed, haven't decided on if he will play any larger role in a chapter as of now but the Omnitrix fixing genetic mutations could certainly help him be 'normal' in the eyes of society. Also Robin is tricky to figure out, since this Bruce would be facing different odds and I can't be sure he would even consider leading Dick into the life of fighting crime considering this Bruce has the Omnitrix
To Superfan787:... Was it that easy to predict Firefly's introduction? Because you basically said my idea for him, although it is an admittedly simple thing to imagine in hindsight. Of course the arsonist is going to have a unhealthy obsession with the fire based alien
To Guest2: slow down buddy, this is still the beginning of Bruce's career, how am I supposed to introduce Damian Wayne when he hasn't even met Dick? Also Bullock might show up more later in the story but no current plans for him, I feel Gordon needs to be closer to hitting commissioner before I introduced the likes of Montoya or Bullock
To Sunher0: I know right? That moment is so crucial to who he becomes that I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give Bruce the watch, while a ten year old Bruce finding the watch would be just as interesting I see it affecting his path much more drastically since he wouldn't have gone out of his way to train body and mind, he would have solely dedicated himself into becoming one with the watch's aliens in a sort of way to distance himself from the event, no doubt he would become a crime fighter but he might not have the moral compass in the right place
To taiwoeretan1: I don't really like Gotham despite having watched the whole show, it isn't bad particularly but some of their choices were very questionable at times for me, along with the CW curse of getting worse as it goes on, but I wanted to focus on adult Bruce for my fic
To NexusPrime12: there might be, we won't know until he interacts with a certain reporter in the future. Same goes for a detective with an inhumanly deep voice, and a lighthouse keeper's son.
To Guest3: Prototype, but Bruce has been tinkering with the watch so it might change later on into his own designed version. All Bruce can do for now is insert codes into it, but maybe he can update the watch with some of his own ideas in terms of functions and design, currently he doesn't have the equipment to properly start upgrading the Omnitrix... Emphasis on currently.
To Eagle1000: good work, made it easier in this chapter for anyone wondering what other aliens he has unlocked through codes. Some still might be tricky, others are quite in your face.
To zanzara: while Bruce is trying to achieve Master Control, he won't be able to rely on Grey Matter's smarts for this task since it was the first transformation that was swapped out before he could discover the code for it, in due time he will be able to regain access to him but for now that is the encouragement he has to registering all codes that unlocked a new alien, so that he may never lose the option of using them, but even without the little guy Bruce is incredibly smart so he will find out eventually. Martian and Kryptonian DNA are registered in the Omnitrix but they are currently blocked, only interaction with the corresponding species can only unlock it without inserting their codes
