Yeah, I've decided to bring this back and get it done. It only seems fair since I have been bringing back some old stories lately, and I know Son of the Deadman was a big favourite to most readers.
The premise of this story is still the same; it begins in 2014 at WrestleMania 30. OC is the son of the Undertaker as the title suggests, will be paired with Alexa Bliss though that may not come until at least late 2014, maybe early 2015. I'm still planning this out as i make this chapter.
Got not much else to say except that I hope you enjoy.
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC Ryan Calaway/Ryan Maverick.

Bio: Ryan Calaway was born on Halloween night 1991, to Mark Calaway and his then-wife Jodi Lynn. Growing up with a wrestler for a dad had it's difficulties as Mark was always on the road, but did make time for his son when he could, even bringing him to several shows. While watching his dad perform on TV, Ryan dreamed of one day becoming a professional wrestler just like his father, and even facing him in the ring someday.
When he turned fourteen, Ryan begged his father to start training him. After some convincing, Mark finally agreed to it and began training his son, bringing in some friends from WWE to help with it. By the time he was eighteen, Ryan had been wrestling in the Indies, and it wasn't until after he turned eighteen in 2009 that he was noticed and contacted by Total Nonstop Action, who offered him a contract with him. Seeing as how fans expected him to join WWE since it's where his father worked, Ryan accepted the offer with TNA, for he wanted to show that he didn't have things handed to him simply because of who his father was. He wanted to show that everything he would achieve in his career, he'd earn it.
Ryan's time with TNA lasted from late 2009 to mid 2011, and during that time he won the TNA World Tag Team Championship once with the Icon Sting, and become a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion with his first reign lasting 150 days, his second reign lasting 220 days.
When his TNA contract expired, Ryan chose not to renew it and instead went to Ring of Honor, where he stayed from the summer of 2011 to April 2013, becoming the ROH World Heavyweight Champion twice.
After he left ROH due to creative differences, he received a call from Paul "Triple H" Levesque who asked if he'd like to join WWE but in their developmental program, NXT. Ryan agreed and signed the contract, finally a part of WWE though it wasn't the main roster.
He debuted in NXT not long after the 2013 Extreme Rules PPV, and went on to win the NXT Championship in July, holding it until March 2014. He agreed to drop the title when he got a call from Triple H, saying it was time for him to join the main roster.
And he would make his main roster debut at WrestleMania 30...
Other: Ryan has the names of his family tattooed on his body, with his mother's name being across the front of his neck, his father's on his right shoulder, and his siblings on his left shoulder along with his stepmother, Michelle McCool. Down both his arms, he had gothic-style tattoo sleeves consisting of skulls, dragons and demons.
WrestleMania 30: 6/4/2014
Ryan Calaway let out a deep exhale as the driver pulled into the Superdome arena where WrestleMania 30 was being held. He closed his eyes as he felt the car come to a stop, mentally saying to himself. 'This is it.'
Everything he had done, everything he had worked for, it had led to this. Him finally arriving in WWE, albeit he had already done that when he came to NXT but this was different. This was the main roster, the main deal. And he was making his debut at WrestleMania 30, the grandest stage of them all. How many got to have their debuts happen at WrestleMania?
None. It had never been done before.
Getting out of the car, Ryan grabbed his bags, wheeled out his suitcase, and made his way into the building from the parking lot. As he walked through the halls, he caught more than a few stares from people, mainly backstage officials and writers, but he just ignored them and made his way towards the room his father had told him to go to when they spoke on the phone earlier.
Arriving at the door of said room, Ryan knocked on it before entering to find his father speaking with Paul Levesque. "Hey, am I early?"
Paul laughed. "You're right on time, kid. You get here alright?"
"I may have lost my way a couple of times." Ryan sheepishly admitted. "So if I'm ever brought into future meetings, just know there will be times that I'm late."
Paul and Mark laughed at that. "He did that in school a couple of times." Mark smiled.
"At least you told us in advance." Paul nods. "How are you feeling, though?"
"You ready for this?" Mark looked at his son deeply.
Ryan inhales. "Yes, and no." He exhales. "I mean, it feels different than coming into NXT, but I think it's because I'm having this debut at WrestleMania, in front of thousands of people that are in the arena and those watching around the world. Regardless of the match I'm in, there's a lot of pressure because I know there will be eyes on me. And then there's what the others around here will think when they recognise me, and I just know there's going to be some that think I'm here because of who my dad is."
"Fuck them, then." Mark said bluntly, causing Paul to snort in laughter. "I may not be around the locker room as much as I used to be since I work just for WrestleMania now, but I know everybody here respects me. And if they want to keep their teeth in their mouth and keep my respect, then they better not start accusing my son of being handed things or I will start performing full-time again to beat their asses."
"And this is why nobody ever messes with your dad." Paul shakes his head. "Not even Vince. Guy's the workhorse around here, and his respect means a lot to everyone here. But listen, Ryan, I got a feeling you'll have nothing to worry about. I think people will appreciate you for being you alone, okay? For what you've done in other companies before you came here. We've got a plan for you, it might be slow, but if you be patient with us then we can get you what you want. You just gotta earn it and we plan it out slowly so there's no springing you onto things. You know you can trust me, right?"
Ryan nods. "You are my godfather." He reminded.
"That's right." Paul said. "All you got to do is hold up your end and hold on for me, and I got a good feeling you'll be on your way back here."
Ryan smiles. "Thanks."
Mark motioned to the door. "You ready to walk into the lions' den?"
Ryan chuckled. "Oh please, I walked into the lions' den in TNA and I walked out the same way I walked in. The same with ROh." He paused and looked around. "the old man isn't gonna unleash hell on me for mentioning the companies that shall not be named, right?"
Paul and Mark laughed. "No, you're fine. Just don't go mentioning them on live TV without running it by me first." paul sent him a wink. "And speaking of the old man, he wants to see you before you start going over your spots in your match tonight."
"Sent to the principal's office already... why does that sound so familiar?" Ryan sighed.
"You're the one that got into those fights." Mark pointed.
"Those asshats started it and deserved it." Ryan defended himself, then threw his hands up. "I'm not getting back into this. That argument was settled when I was eleven, let's not renew it. I better go and meet the locals."
Paul patted his back. "You got this, kid."
Ryan soon left the room and stopped off at the men's locker room to get his stuff in, and along the way he met some familiar faces such as the Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Kane, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, as well as met some new ones.
Once he got settled in, he went to Vince's office to meet with the boss for a bit before he left to start doing his spots in the match he'll be in on the card. Right now, he was walking down the hallway to make for ringside when he ended up bumping into someone upon turning the corner.
"Shit, I'm-" His eyes widened when he recognised who he bumped into. "Lexi?"
"Ryan?" Lexi (Alexa Bliss), looked shocked to see Ryan before she jumped him ino a hug which Ryan caught as he spun her around with a laugh. "Oh God, Ryan! I didn't know you were going to be here tonight!"
"I could say the same about you!" Ryan puts her down.
Ryan met Lexi in NXT as she had also joined last year but had yet to make her wrestling debut seeing as she was still preparing and training for that. Ryan had helped her out a big when he saw her backstage, since he could see she had potential. They hit it off instantly and had been good friends since, although Ryan couldn't help but feel some nervousness in the pit of his stomach.
The kind that comes when you stand in front of the one you have a crush on.
Ryan then noticed Lexi's attire and his cheeks heated up a bit. "What are you wearing?"
Lexi looked down at her attire, consisting of a metal bikini and loincloth that made her look like something out of an ancient Greece movie or something. "oh! this is just my attire for the entrance I'll be doing tonight. Me, Ashley and Mercedes are going to be part of Triple H's entrance."
"That so?" Ryan raised a brow. "Well... you look good."
Lexi blushed at that. "Thanks." She said quietly, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Are you... going to the ring?"
Grateful for the change in subject, Ryan nodded. "Yeah. Got to plan out my spots in the match tonight."
Lexi tilted her head, curious. "Wait, your debuting tonight? But the only match you could be in is..." Her eyes widened in realisation. "Oh."
"Exactly." Ryan laughed.
"Well, I'm sure going to be watching that now." Lexi patted his arm. "I'm glad to see you finally made it here, Ryan. I know how much you talked about being on WrestleMania."
Ryan nodded. "it feels like a dream come true, and it doesn't help that I am nervous as hell since it's my first WrestleMania, and I'm debuting as part of the main roster now."
Lexi smiled at him. "You'll do fine." She put her hand on his arm. "I have faith in my best friend."
Ryan smiled at her. "Thanks Lexi."
They stared into each other's eyes for a moment before Ryan broke it, clearing his throat while Lexi's cheeks heated up. "A-Anyway, I better let you go." Lexi said, making Ryan nod. "Good luck."
"Thanks." Ryan nodded at her before walking off, leaving Lexi to sigh as she watched him go.
God, she so had the hots for him.

WWE WrestleMania 30 was live at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The pay-per-view event started when host Hulk Hogan came down to the ring for a segment, at one point accidentally calling the Superdome the "Silverdome". A few moments later, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin joined him in the ring, teasing a confrontation between the two. After that, The Rock also came down to the ring. The three reminisced about past WrestleManias and led the crowd in their signature chants and catchphrases. They then shared a number of beers together before departing the ring.
In the first match on the pay-per-view, Daniel Bryan faced Triple H (who was accompanied by Stephanie McMahon) where the winner would be inserted in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship main event later that night. Bryan kicked away Triple H's handshake and started the match strongly, including performing a tornado DDT off the apron. Triple H gained the advantage by driving Bryan's injured arm into the announce table and continually attacking the arm including a hammerlock belly-to-back suplex on the apron. Triple H applied the crossface chickenwing and a regular crossface on Bryan, however, Bryan did not submit. Bryan applied a Yes! Lock" on Triple H, however, Triple H reached the ropes to void the submission. As Bryan attempted a running knee, Triple H countered with a spinebuster and Pedigree for a nearfall. In the end, Bryan performed the running knee on Triple H to win the match.
Following the match, McMahon slapped Bryan and distracting him long enough for Triple H to attack him from behind. Triple H placed Bryan's injured arm against the ring post and struck it with a steel folding chair. Medical staff tended to Bryan while Triple H and McMahon celebrated on the stage.
Next, The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) and Kane faced The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns). In the end, Reigns performed a Spear on Kane, and Reigns then performed another Spear on both Outlaws simultaneously. The Shield then performed their Triple Powerbomb maneuver on both Outlaws to win the match.
Up next is the battle royal for the André the Giant Memorial Trophy.
30 men were in the ring currently, with Big Show and Sheamus having made their entrances. Now they were waiting for the final participant in the match.
'I'm the hand of GOD! I'm the Dark Messiah! I'm the Vengeful One!'
The Vengeful One by Disturbed hit to a huge pop from the fans as several superstars in the ring looked shocked or surprised.
"no, no way." Cole shook his head.
"is that...?" Jerry couldn't believe it.
"I think it is!" JBL was excited.
A motorcycle revving was heard before Ryan Maverick drove out onto the stage, clad in a black leather motorcycle. The crowd's cheering increased at the sight of him as he pounded his chest once before raising his arm.
"Oh my God, it is!" Cole shouted. "It's Ryan Maverick!"
"The son of the Undertaker has arrived at WrestleMania!" JBL laughed. "I love it!"
"I'm still shocked... what?!" Jerry shook his head.
Ryan drives down the ramp and circles the ring with his motorcycle, looking at the men in the ring every so often before parking his ride. He then gets off and enters the ring, throwing his arms up which the fans copy. His theme soon dies down as he stands amongst the superstars, smirking at the cheering crowd.
'Ryan Maverick! Ryan Maverick! Ryan Maverick!' They chanted, clapping five times between saying his name.
"Listen to this crowd!" Cole exclaimed.
Ryan readies himself as the bell is called to begin the match.
Later in the match
The ring had been very much cleared, and it was now down to just Ryan Maverick, Cesaro and Big Show.
"Somebody's career is gonna be made right now." JBL said as Cesaro stumbled into a goozle from Big Show.
Big Show lifts Cesaro, who jumps out of the Giant's hold and starts an onslaught of uppercuts onto the World's Largest Athlete, knocking him onto the ropes then tries to clothesline him over the rope but couldn't.
However, as Cesaro went for another, Ryan struck him from behind with a forearm to the back.
"Oh! And Ryan Maverick." Cole said. "He's been very impressive in this match, eliminating six men."
"Very impressive." Jerry nods.
Ryan grabs Cesaro and Irish whips him into Big Show before running and clotheslines both men at once, sending Cesaro sprawling to the mat while Big Show is on the ropes. Ryan unloads on Big Show with a fury of lefts and rights to the stomach, forcing Big Show to cover up as best as he could. Ryan backs up, eyes Big Show, and then bits a big boot to the face which sends Big Show over the top rope and... DOWN TO THE FLOOR!
"Big Show is eliminated!" Cole shouted.
"My God!" JBL exclaimed.
"How the hell?!" Jerry couldn't believe it.
"We are now down to do-! And Cesaro!" Cole said as Cesaro tries eliminating Ryan from behind, but Ryan elbows Cesaro repeatedly in the side of the head before grabbing him by the throat. "Uh-oh!"
"Cesaro's going for a ride!" JBL said.
Bladewolf lifts Cesaro up, turns and... CHOKESLAMS HIM OUT OF THE RING! RYAN MAVERICK WINS THE MATCH!
"Cesaro is eliminated!" Cole shouted.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The Vengeful One plays as Ryan falls to a knee, getting his breath. "The winner of the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal... RYAN MAVERICK!" Lillian Garcia announced.
"Oh my God!" Jerry exclaimed.
"Ryan Maverick just had a big WrestleMania moment." Cole stated as Ryan gets to his feet. "He's made his WrestleMania debut as part of being called up to the main roster from NXT. And what a way to make an impact as well as debut at WrestleMania."
"The WWE is about to change with the son of the Undertaker here!" JBL laughed. "I can see a bright future for this young man, who's gonna make his father proud!"
Ryan exits the ring and gets on his motorcycle, starting it up. He drives up the ramp and stops on the stage. He then shoots his right arm up, which some of the fans copy to a cheer from them before Ryan drives off backstage.
And that's it for WrestleMania 30. I wasn't doing the full match because there was way too many people in it at once for me to write it out. A Royal Rumble is easy, but a Battle Royal isn't.
