SUMMARY: what will happen when a new billionaire tries to steal a special princess will they be destined together or will a dark knight come to the rescue
PS: this is my first fanfiction so it's not the best also I personally think wonderbat is the best ship in dc no hate to your favs but a lot of hate to batcat, superbat, super wonder and Steve Trevor, just why?
CHAPTER 1: the glances
6/24 8:00 pm New York City
DIANA'S PERSPECTIVE
wonder woman had just arrived to the gala catching glances, whistles and even praises from everyone around her, paparazzi all over her asking for her attention relentlessly, not wanting to be rude she greeted everyone like the sweetheart she was known to be in everyone eyes, she quickly headed inside for the confection she had worked with to help out the city
walking in she had everyone's attention, grabbing a glass of wine from a moving tray she made her way threw the crowd to get to the stand, everyone who she passed mouths dropped instantly she couldn't tell if it was her outfit or her personally. Her outfit was a dark red trumpet/mermaid v- neck fitted sleeveless sweep train tulle dress with a high slit that went up to mid thigh. it was a custom made outfit a major designer friend of hers had made to fit all the curves she had that made the male demographic faint and desire her more than anything, her makeup was delicate and yet elegant and the diamond jewelry that her friend princess Audrey gave to her made the look more memorizing and rememberable.
As she made her way she was stopped by Dinah or better known as black cannery since she married Ollie it made her a millionaire, which explains why she's at a lot more conventions then usual, she looked beautiful but not as much as Diana but enough to make most men fold, wearing a navy blue almost black solid strapless waist tie front splint backless formal evening gown that she specifically picked for tonight " you look amazing di," black cannery said with a smile looking her up and down
"you look even better," Diana responded with a laugh at the compliment she received from one of her dearest best friends
"you know if Bruce she's you in that he'll blow his head off," Dinah said with a smirk, looking behind her trying to spot bruce
"well tonight isn't about him and besides your the one who should be worried, you're married and I'd love to see Ollie's face when he see how many men have looked at you," Diana replied with a grin of pride as Ollie appeared right behind her grabbing cannery's waist and kissing her neck without a care of the world" whatcha girls talking about," Ollie said with a hint of curiosity, not thinking they heard him creeping around right beforehand to find out what they talking about
"Oh nothing just complementing Each other," Dinah and Diana both said it at the same time which made Ollie confused and a bit scared
"oh hey I think there calling you up di," Dinah said noticing the call up of Wonder Woman
"wish me luck I'm gonna need a lot of it," and with that she was already up the stairs towards the stage getting a little help from guys who she didn't know
BRUCE'S PERSPECTIVE
He had just arrived, surprising everyone that he didn't have a bimbo attached to his arm, he stepped inside and made his way threw the paparazzi, remembering what Alfred said about true love and not to mess anything up tonight or else he would have Bruce's head.
Stopping to get a glass of wine he turned around to find fan girls looking straight at him, making sure he still had his flirtatious personality he gave them a wink which made one of them faint and the rest of them squeal, turning back around he almost spilled red winder on his dark blue peak lapel tuxedo that Alfred had prepared for him
just as Bruce wheeled around he found Clark standing right next to him in his classic light blue suit and regular black glasses, even though he didn't need them Bruce thought it was ridiculous that's all he ever needed and even more stupid knowing people actually fell for his secret identity, getting lost in his own thoughts Bruce didn't even notice Clark trying to get his attention and with that Clark had enough, smacking Bruce in the back of his head making Bruce snap, turning his full attention towards Clark
"what the hell clark," Bruce said in anger, shooting him a nasty look that Clark had only seen when he was in a terrible mood
"My bad Bruce, but there's no other way i could get your attention" Clark said patting Bruce on his back but backing off a little when he saw'll a dark glance of expressions on Bruce's face
" I think Lois is looking for you boy-scout" Bruce responded with a smirk, downing his wine back and glancing at Clark to find him rolling his eyes at Bruce's comment
"You should talk, anyhow have you seen Diana at all," Clark replied in curiosity and excitement to see the playboy philanthropist's face
And just about Bruce could say another word, the lights dimmed only to form brighter on the stage and their she was his beautiful princess standing at the top, the lights on her well deserved showing her amazing complexion and a revealing outfit showing off her perfectly shaped body, oh heavens how great that color made her look, a perfect red to match his blue. this was planned out perfectly not that he stalked her to find out exactly what she was wearing but enough to know the color she would pick out be, Bruce began to blush at sight of seeing her almost naked he'd alway pictured her on his chest giving him his greatest desires, realizing what he had just done he looked away but not quick enough for the kryptonion not to notice.
"was that a blush I saw, coming from you" Clark grinned at the sight of Bruce's feeling coming out knowing he himself will never let Bruce live this down
" no, you're delusional Boy Scout," Bruce stated as he gave Clark a death glare and turning his attention back toward the stage
The lights struck on Wonder Woman with a huge tv screen right behind her, music rising as the screen showed clips and footage of Wonder Woman fighting crime in numerous locations around the world with her sexy costume, that made the whole crowd clap and cheer in the sight of their beloved goddess. As the notes on the screen started to faded so did they music but the claps and cheers were still there, the room filled with a rising chorus" ladies and gentleman presenting our beautiful Wonder Woman"Diana smiled at the audience feeling honored that this many people loved and appreciated what she does
" all I would like to say is Wonder Woman you are a true hero and we are so thankful and honored you would like to help out our beloved city" the auctioneer said and with that claps and cheers outbursts the room, looking around she saw Bruce in a dark blue suit that showed off his muscular body, oh what she would do for him to finally reveal he likes her back. Losing her self in inner thought, the auctioneer handed Diana the microphone to give her speech
taking the microphone and looking straight at the audience she smiled with joy and passion "thank you for everyone who's joining me tonight for this special and helpful event, I am so honored to be here tonight and I hope everyone is just as excited as I am and with that let's get to the prizes"
The auctioneer grabbed a spare microphone and started to announce the prizes " our amazing heroine has offered us herself this evening, who ever the highest bidder is tonight get a special dance with Wonder Woman. Bidding starts at $1,000"
hands raised in an instant, Bruce grinned his teeth at the sight of others trying to spend time with a princess that only belongs to him. Looking around everyone was going crazy, people yelling , fights happening between the audience, the only thing Diana could do was smile not trying to ruin the whole point of the evening
"Twenty thousand dollars" Ollie called out noticing Bruce, only trying to level his blood pressure higher than it already was
"Are you crazy for Wonder Woman herself, two hundred thousand" Ricki the biggest male fashion designer in metropolis called out
" three hundred seventy thousand" Clark yelled knowing Bruce was at his end point,
" ten hundred thousand dollars" Stewart bid, the owner of the biggest company of global corporations in New York
having enough Bruce looked at the auctioneer and yelled" one million dollars " Diana rolled her eyes knowing he always won bids, which annoyed her because all he did was make her evening awkward. Getting ready to head towards Bruce a strange voice called out " three million dollars" the crowd gasped no one had ever out bid the billionaire playboy in Gotham but this wasn't Gotham this was New York the home of the rich. Turning their heads the unexpected bidder made his way to the front of the crowd, only for it to be Andrew Royce the richest billionaire in New York, he had always been rivals to Bruce fighting for who the richest and hottest billionaire was.
bruce rolled his eyes and glared at Diana but she smirked back at him " sold to Andrew Royce, sorry Bruce better luck next time" and with that the auctioneer helped Diana off the stage. Andrew made his way through the crowd but stoped and pated Bruce in the back " what can I say Bruce never try to out bid the greatest" Andrew laughed at him and walked towards Diana while Bruce processed what just happen
the grande ball room shimmered under the soft glow of the crystal chandeliers, the lights reflecting off the fresh marble floor starts. Black and red drapes framed the tall glass windows and the scent of red roses wafted the air, mingling with the slow notes of string quartet. Andrew extended his hand towards Diana and she took it, feeling the warmth of his touch as he led her onto the dance floor. The music enveloped them and with a graceful sweep, he twirled her into rhythm every single step bringing them closer, their bodies moving in perfect harmony
his eyes were a light olive green and his hair a jet chocolate brown that the dim lights around them both made lighter. The black notched lapeled suit he wore showed off his buff figure, muscles bigger than most, abs that couldn't be seen but when felt they were definitely there and a huge package that when felt up close couldn't be compared. Diana's blue crystal eyes stared at him in a sort of desire, her lushes dark raven curls bounced as he spun her around in a slow motion, her dark red dress moved along to their heated dance quickly and the diminished she wore sparkled under the lights.
" I hope I didn't make you waste to much money" Diana told him as she smirked, bating her eyelashes at him innocently, knowing exactly what she was doing
"nonsense, I'd go all the way to 5 billion just to get a dance with you" he replied with a mischievous grin that made Diana blush in amusement
"Just a dance?" She pulled him closer and whispered in his ear making him grip her waist tighter
"maybe a little more if you let me" he said twirling her around, and getting behind her while his arm were on her and hers with on xthe opposite side of their original placement. *like how they were in justice league maid of honor scene with Batman and Wonder Woman*
" I could arrange that does next Saturday work for you" Diana whispered as the music started to end soon to be like their dance
" I'm perfectly free any day for you, amor mio" Andrew said letting out his Italian side that made woman go crazy" if you don't mind me calling you that" he said bring Diana's hand to his lips and kissing it
" not at all, Prince Charming" Diana said as she pulled her phone and exchanged phone numbers with Andrew to contact him later
As the event ended Diana gave Andrew a warm embrace and out of the Corner of her eye she saw a not so happy Batman which made her press herself more towards Andrew making sure Batman was one hundred percent jealous for rejecting her all this time.
walking Diana to her black limo that had just showed up, Andrew being the gentleman he is he opened the door writing for the gorgeous amazion princess go get in a hint of sadness to see her go but millions of thoughts and desires that might happen next week for a hopefully so called date they might endure
Turning in his direction she couldn't help herself to his lonely lips, that awaited her's , he pulled him close and a passionate kiss happened both tongues aiming for control over the other. Diana pulled away and smirked while Andrew grinned still day dreaming, paparazzi catching the kiss screaming in excitement as they pulled away, both knowing this would end up in the news but they didn't care at that point. Stepping into the limo Andrew and Diana gave each other one last glance before he shut the door and the limo drives away quickly. Not wanting to be bombarted with questions by paparazzi he quickly walked over to his car having his driver open the door but not before giving the jealous caped crusader a smirk which made him throw his glass of wine at the wall in anger and frustration which made the paparazzi run over to him to get answers about how he felt about the new situation that had just happened and with that Andrew Royce the richest billionaire in New York drove away.
