Izuku; …so uh…hi…Psy is still in the cellar…uh…she forgot to upload last week (cough cough, five weeks, cough cough)…I'm kinda concerned with how long she has been in that cellar-

Sonic; I'm sure it'll be fine…this chapter is leading up to some interesting stuff…though you probably won't be able to tell.

Izuku; Psy hasn't touched the next chapter after this one, despite it being VERY important *sighs*. So sadly unless she can finish up 2 or 3 chapters within the next couple of days…it's very unlikely she will be able to make up for last week's lack of chapters.

Shadow; If she starts falling behind again, do I have permission to-

Izuku; THOUGH! She has left a spoiler on her YouTube just for funnies. Anyways, disclaimer! SEGA OWNS SONIC AND HORIKOSHI OWNS MHA, THIS IS ALL FANMADE!

Chapter 34; Time Traveler's Time Dilemma

The teen in question blinked…what? His class nodded and the teachers relaxed. Eri and the Big Three laughed and stepped forward warmly. Silver stood there with his mind reeling. What did Izuku just say? 'Birthday?' Silver thought in an echo of what Izuku had said. His eyes wandered over to a calendar. Finding the dorms were covered in streamers and balloons in all in the colors of whites, grays, and teal. November 14th…The calendar had the day marked with bold ink. 'Oh…it is my birthday today…' The ivory psychic's ambery eyes widened at the thought, 'How did they know…?' Seeing the dorm filled with decorations and the confetti littered around him made his cheeks turn pink. They went to all this trouble…and he threatened to drop the TV on them…

"I…" Silver stared at the decorations, it was insane. All the effort…streamers, balloons, posters, ribbons, banners, they went all out. "...I'm sorry." Silver's ears folded against his head harder, the guilt eating him alive.

He closed his eyes and dipped his head, a soft tugging on his hand made him open them again, "It's ok," Eri smiled up at Silver, holding his gloved hand softly, "We all worked so hard so that we could see you smile. Please don't be sad." Her large innocent ruby eyes touched his soul as if his soul were getting hugged softly.

Sure, she was only reciting what Mirio had said after the raid. But Chaos, hearing it from her, touched his heart. Silver felt a bittersweet feeling dripping from his soul. He couldn't help his ears perking up and his expression softening. He knelt, seeing little Cream smiling at him with her little Chao squeaking happily. Silver wrapped her into a comforting hug, tight enough that he could feel happy with it but lose enough so she wouldn't be hurt. He wasn't the best with physical affection. But he felt like this was the right thing to do. If Silver were to admit the truth…it would be that it was much more comforting than he expected. He didn't realize how much he needed a hug… Eri hesitated for a moment. She was also weird with physical affection, but she returned the hug to the best of her ability. Silver felt his eyes sting as he hid his face. Who knew a hug could spark so many emotions? He almost didn't want to let go…

Yet, he knew he had to. Silver couldn't push Eri's boundaries…especially when she was still so fresh to a good life. The ivory-haired teen quickly pulled himself together and took a breath of courage. Silver pulled away and put on a smile to ensure that he was ok. Eri's eyes brightened seeing Silver look happier.

"Thank you Eri, you all did so wonderfully." He stood up as Izuku walked closer, "I thought you guys were mad at me," Silver turned to Deku with a silly smile of confusion, "How did you know? I forgot…"

"I-"

As Midoirya began, Ashido cut him off by jumping in the way, "YOU FORGOT YOUR BIRTHDAY?!" She shouted, causing Silver to flinch and her to quickly quiet down, "Sorry. But what?!" Silver backed up a little as Mina got closer, "You wrote it down on your Student ID but you forgot that it was today?!"

Oh…that's how Izuku knew. Deku gave a guilty smile and Silver rubbed the back of his neck, "I dunno…I guess it's just never really been a big deal before…" Silver could recall countless times of diaries and books telling how birthdays were grand celebrations.

Yet he only ever considered it like any other day, just another day older and another day to be alive. Silver hadn't ever seen a birthday celebrated like a holiday until Sonic's birthday, even then Silver never considered having his own celebration. In all honesty, he would have been fine just finding a book and curling up and reading ahead in history class. Silver couldn't help but wonder, was time affecting him differently because of all the time travel? Was time different on Earth than it was on Mobius? Was Silver 15 now? Time was weird…after all his time and world travel, he wasn't too sure what his age was. Or in fact, if he could have a birthday, because he was fairly sure he had undid his birth a while ago. Was he a paradox?

The thoughts flashed upon his mind in mere seconds, and before he could even try to answer any of them, Hagakure popped over to be Ashido's trouble double, "What?! What do you mean? You've never celebrated your birthday? Or you just don't remember celebrating your birthday?" Izuku's eyes widened and a look of pity crossed All Might's face.

"I just don't remember I guess." Silver quickly fixed his mistake, but Deku and ALL Might knew the truth, "Y-You all did amazing though! It looks really good!" Eri nodded happily and Amajiki frowned as he looked at how many people were around.

"Well," Silver leaned a little to watch Izuku grow a large smile, "We'll make this the best birthday you've ever had!" Determination seeped through Izuku's eyes as he stepped forward, "Come on!" Silver's eyes widened as Izuku grabbed his hands and quickly dragged him over to the table.

The psychic yelped as he was pushed into a chair. Silver watched as the crowd trailed behind and Sato quickly went off to the kitchen. A murmur of excitement flooded through the crowd and Silver shifted in his seat. His hands played with one another as Izuku sat down in the chair next to Silver. Uraraka chose the one that was free on his other side. Sato came back out with a two-tier cake and the heavy smell of strawberry wafted from the cake. Silver's eyes dilated with the delicious smell. He didn't know what to do besides sit there as the cake was placed in front of him. Jurio stood up and began to sing as Todoroki lit candles on the cake.

The happiness was quickly drowned out seeing the sweet placed in front of him was now guarded by the candles. He stared at the candles as the flames swayed and fluttered. Silver frowned as his imagination began to run wild. What if the candles got onto the table? Or what if the flame's smoke lit the ceiling on fire? What if they got caught in his hair or clothes? His expression stayed frozen as he stared at the candles presented before him. Juiro's melody faded from his ears as a cold sweat formed on Silver's face and palms. His breathing got shallow as his ears lowered into a defensive position. Silver's hands remained clenched on his lap, his jaw locked shut and his lips perused into a tight frown. His eyes grew glossy as the memories began to poke fun at him again.

"Silver?" Izuku nudged Silver in the arm, "You're supposed to blow out the candles now," Silver's ears perked and he glanced at Izuku and quickly loosened his body from the tense stature he had gained.

Izuku gave a comforting smile as he hid the concern that had begun to show, it was Silver's birthday. He was probably just confused by the candles on the cake…Deku tried to reassure himself he was misreading the situation and grinned as he nudged Silver to blow out the candles. "A-Ah yeah, r-right." Silver glanced towards the candles again, hesitating before reaching out with his psychokinesis and snuffing the flames.

"I mean, blow them out. Not put them out." The young trainee gave an irked expression as he watched the candle smoke float up, "Never mind, make a wish quickly. I don't think you did when you put the candles out." Uraraka laughed a little uncomfortable and pat Silver's shoulder reassuring his mistake was ok.

"W-Wish?"

Silver quickly turned back to the burnt-out candles and fumbled to think of a wish, what did he want?! He wanted a lot of things. His future was to be safe, to see his friends again, to see his home again, to eat this cake, to become a good hero, to stop Shigaraki and Mephlies, to find out who the sock demon was and steal his socks back, to figure out a good Ultimate move, to check up on Lock Lock again, to update his hero suit- The list went on and on. He had to choose just one? What did he want? He hesitated only for a second more as he finally picked something.

"I wish-" He started, his ears bending down a little as he stared at the candle smoke. Silver was wishing on a candle…how ironic.

Iida quickly stood up, waving his arm around robotically, "DON'T SAY IT OUT LOUD!" Silver tensed and Eri giggled a little, happily noting it all down for later, "Don't tell anyone or it won't come true."

Silver nodded slowly, internally whispering his wish to himself. 'I wish…' He felt kinda silly doing it and blushed a little, feeling everyone's eyes on him. But after confirming he had made a wish, Sato grinned and began cutting the cake. Silver took an eager bite, man was it delicious! It was so sweet too! The strawberry flavor melted on his tongue and the cake was so moist! The frosting was so sweet and smooth and Silver loved how they complimented one another. He couldn't understand how everyone else could sit and savor the flavor as he was already eating a second plate of cake in record time.

"Ya' see I didn't know what you'd want…I remembered you walk to work so I was thinking maybe you could fix up this old bike and use it. Or just completely recycle it and make something completely new." Sero laughed and rubbed the back of his neck as Silver wondered how the heck Sero wrapped the large red bike. Silver was even more confused about how to use a bike in the first place. He had seen people in Japan use them, and he had seen Mobains use them (granted with a few changes) but Silver never had tried. "Heck, you don't have to use it at all. If you don't want it then here, have some yen instead because I had no idea what to get you."

As Sero offered the Yen, Silver refused and shook his head. He shifted the bike handles around, left and right, watching the front tire follow the movements. Silver was fairly sure he could figure out how to use a bike. Now he was determined too. He'd watch and learn a lot from Tails when it came to recycling or upgrading things. Silver would use the old bike, one way or another. He wasn't exactly sure when he'd need it but perhaps when he needed a faster smaller mode of transport but couldn't fly? Who knew what he'd need it for? Silver grinned at the gift and put it against the wall.

"Thank you, Sero! I'll figure out something to do with it!" Silver grinned and Sero sighed in relief, smiling that Silver accepted the gift. He had already gotten lots of gifts. Silver wasn't exactly sure what to do with them all. (A\N; Man re-figuring out these gifts was HARD-!)

Aoyama had given Silver a super sparkly reusable tin, currently filled with all kinds of cheeses. For once Aoyama seemed to be trying to make Silver happy, there was no fake smile or passive-aggressive attitude. Just a ton of sparkles and cheese. Silver was undoubtedly hesitant to accept but ended up taking the cheese tin with an awkward smile. That positive exchange made Izuku extremely happy to see them getting along and sticking to their promise to not fight. At least, not fight while he was around. Iida had gotten tons of history books, like 5 thick ones that went in-depth about events of the past. Which Silver loved. Shoji had gotten Silver a handful of weight bracelets, roughly 45 kg for each bracelet. And there were 4 bracelets in total. Ashido had gotten cyan winter gloves as well as 2 other pairs of simply white ones. She had also explained her reasoning for why she got him just a few gloves. "I've only ever seen you wear one pair of gloves. So I got you more so you could change them more often!" Her words had made him a little embarrassed at her study of him.

Uraraka had given Silver a handmade blanket which completely awed Silver. Crocheted with white yarn and fleece sewn to one side. Tsu had made a painted remake of one of the first interactions the girls had with Silver. When he had slipped and spilled strawberry shortcakes all over himself upon hearing the questioning Uraraka was being asked. Tsu gave a sly look as Silver went bright red seeing the reminder, he didn't think she saw that but she did. And he didn't feel like he was gonna live it down. But in all honesty, the painting was gorgeous. Ojiro had given Silver some organization cubbies which Silver was excited to put his new books into. Kirishima hyped up his gift which turned out to be a book about combat. Hand-to-hand, Offense, Defense, Arial, etc. It was a thick book for sure. Kirishima said he had chosen the book just so Silver could do even better, he hadn't been there for the first few months of class anyhow.

Koda had been quiet but grinned largely as he watched Silver open the small hedgehog plush. The excitement on Koda's face was almost more treasuring than the gift itself. Sato had gotten Silver 2 recipe books. One was a large baking book and another was an empty recipe book in which Sato had already put some of his favorite strawberry recipes. Silver quietly noted to himself he had gotten a lot of books. Which he wasn't mad about, in fact, he loved it. Tokoyami had gotten Silver a nightlight that could change brightness. Jiruo got Silver an electric guitar and she nudged Silver a little with a quiet look. Again, he only turned red and looked away. He wasn't mad, the guitar was beautiful, but it was embarrassing she wasn't gonna drop the song thing either. And Todoroki had gotten Silver a thermal jacket in the same color as Silver's current jacket. A nice navy blue and much better than the old jacket he had gotten from Uraraka. (A\N; She had it from her dad but it was too loose so she gave it to Silver. Silver never complained…but it was also too loose on him. Not as much as Uraraka though. XD)

Momo eagerly offered her box, "Would you like to open mine next?" Silver shifted away from the red bike, first checking it wouldn't fall before he nodded.

He was so awkward having all this attention on him, it was almost as if all of Amajiki's shyness had leaked into Silver. The hedgie-boy took the fairly sized box and hesitated, the wrapping was so fancy he almost didn't want to ruin the perfect job. But seeing her eager smile he opened the wrapping. An unmarked box sat in his hands before he opened it. Four bags of Gold Tips Imperial tea sat happily inside the box. Silver stared at it as his brain ceased to work for a moment. With a delayed reaction, his eyes widened and he jumped up.

"FANCY TEA?!" He shouted staring at the expensive tea before him, "Just how rich ARE you?!" Silver didn't think before he blurted it out, still gawking at the large amount of tea before him.

"Well, I remember you said it cured your headaches," She grinned giddily at Silver's reaction, "We can't have you stunted by those pains, so I made sure to get plenty of tea. It should last you a while." Silver stared at her for a moment.

He underestimated the memory of his classmates. It was such a minor thing he said subconsciously after a peek into the future. But that stuck with her? Either way, it was completely true. This tea did cure his Foresight whiplash, despite the fact he probably gave the wrong impression and made Yaoyarozu think he constantly had headaches…

Silver got over his initial shock, shakily lowering the box in fear he would destroy the expensive tea before he opened the bag, "I-uh t-that's true. Th-Thank you.." He gently put the box of tea on top of his History books.

A bag of that tea was as expensive as a single-person's house! Four bags could pay for a small mansion… Bakugo handed his bag to Silver wordlessly, but the evil glint in his eye said this gift was probably gonna be a snake…opening the bag hesitantly, he found it wasn't. It was just soap. Lots of soap and towels? And a gift card for 'Bath and Body Works'...but 'Bath' was underlined harshly.

"Thanks…?" Silver said, confused about what was going on. Clearly, Bakugo meant something with this but the hint was just flying miles above Silver's head.

Bakugo slumped seeing Silver not understand the intent behind the gift, "You need to shower properly. You sweat. A lot. And it's obvious. Going swimming does nothing but make you smell like a wet dog." The explosive teen gestured to the soaps, "You'll make a much better hero if you stop killing everyone's nose." …oh.

Well on the bright side, he had 10 towels now. And 15 soaps of all kinds of different smells. Strawberry, Pine, Honey, Oat, Mint, Orchid, Vanilla, Kiwi, Cucumber, Mango, Pomegranate, Alowe, Orange, Lavender, and Pear. Kirishima frowned at Bakugou, mumbling about how Bakugo still stuck to the soap thing. The 'Bath and Body Works' card had a surprising amount of 22706.78 yen ($150 USD) on it. Well…he knew what he was getting. Kaminari quickly offered his gift to distract from the ruder one Bakugo had given. Opening that box proved to be some running shoes. Not too fancy but they were picked in honor of his current boots.

"Kinda like Mina said, you should have an extra pair of shoes!" Kaminari picked out one of the shoes from the box, showing off the saturated navy blue shoes with the white tips and straps, the tongue of the shoe being teal at the top and yellow throughout the rest of it. (A\N; Basically his Sonic&Mario Oly shoes without the red gem and built a little more lean for human wear. Plus the bottoms added an inch to his height!)

Silver was awed at the shoes, curious how these shoes would last in his care. He took a shoe from Kaminari and happily put it back into the box for a later date. Izuku leaned forward but quickly backed away when Eri happily walked forward. She smiled sweetly and lifted a small piece of paper to Silver. Which he took and mirrored her smile.

"Happy Birthday Silver," Eri stepped back politely and waited for Silver to read the note.

Her words made him smile softly, almost in tears seeing her smile so freely. The psychic glanced down at the paper and began reading it to himself. 'Dear Silver. Thank you so mnch for savng me! Helpping me smil and makng so many kandy aples! I hop your brithday make s you smil as mnch as I did durring your song andd ance! And don not eat the saop from Bakugou. Saop is not to eat. It tasts bad! Happy Brithday Silver! Pleas smil a lot! -Eri' The note was covered in little doodles of strawberries, books, what he could only guess was her best attempt at a hedgehog, and smiley faces. She seemed to get a little carried away on the smileys though as a few of them had random hairstyles. He spotted one though that kinda looked like him, but with a fluffy jacket.

"I love it…" Silver said softly, staring at the doodles with a gentle expression, "Thank you Eri." She beamed from ear to ear, backing back to her sitting area with a giddy grin.

Izuku leaned forward and offered his gift happily, a small bag sat promptly in his hands. Silver opened the little bag, and a small All Might figure and a handmade key chain showed themselves into the light. As much as Silver enjoyed the figure, the key chain was his absolute favorite. It was pretty simple, sporting little doodles of books and him and Izuku holding hands. 'Best Friends'. Silver loved it so much. He hugged Izuku who smiled sheepishly and returned to hug. No words were spoken between them, yet they knew clearly how the other felt.

The Big Three hopped up happily, Amajiki handing his gift over first due to his shyness wanting to get it over with quickly. It was a simple small box of crackers. "I didn't know what to get you. I know you like food though." Amajiki murmured and hung his head, avoiding eye contact.

Silver happily took it, he loved food. Never know when you might need emergency crackers! Hado quickly came up, taking the attention off Amajki before Silver got to respond. "HERE! Happy Birthday!" She shoved an unwrapped book into his arms, "I didn't have time to wrap it, but I figured it wouldn't matter much!" Silver looked at the book carefully.

"Uh, where is the title?"

"It's a diary, silly!" Hado opened the book, showing the lock and the key, proving it was empty, "It's just a blank journal for you to write how you feel or how your day went!" Silver marveled at it and grinned.

Silver remembered Amy often kept a diary, which he'd read to figure out what happened in the past because she was the only one who kept a diary, "Oh! That's super cool!" Nejire nodded and patted his head, bouncing over to Amajiki and patting his head happily.

Mirio handed Silver a small box which he took with a smile, inside it was a visor. He picked it up and marveled at it, "Put it on, let's see if it fits!" Mirio beamed and Silver nodded.

It was…simple enough. The visor was a nice clear material yet it tinted his vision cyan. There was a gold strap that matched his rings nicely. It wrapped around his head with two little knobs on either side, probably to fit where human ears were meant. There was a small cord that dangled from the left side. Mirio helped Silver set it up, tightening it to ensure it fit and clipping the cord onto his ear. Silver didn't know what this was used for, but it was a cool little device!

"It should help you with your Telepathy better," Mirio smiled, seeing it fit perfectly, "We can test it in action tomorrow if you want!" Silver nodded quickly with a bright grin, Telepathy help?! FREAKING AWESOME!

"Yes, please! Thank you Mirio! This is so cool!"

All Might stepped forward, offering a bag full of all kinds of clothes. Silver was pleasantly surprised. Man, All Might kept offering so much for his living conditions, first, all that was in his dorm, and now a whole wardrobe? All Might must have been as rich as Yaoyarozu…geez…Aizawa stepped forward, explaining that the first gift was from Present Mic. They were earbuds, made just for his hedgehog ears. They could help him listen to music better, they had a noise cancellation setting that varied in intensity so Silver wouldn't go deaf talking to Mic during class anymore, and they connected to his Telepathy Visor. The cord actually could plug into a little slot in the earbuds, Silver was over the moon seeing he could have hedgehog earbuds now. Aizawa's gift was, uh, well…kinda like Bakugo's. It made Silver laugh nervously. It was simply a list of questions, questions that were definitely…thought out. Like 'What is your history with Mephlies?' and 'How did you revive Nighteye?'. 2 Days into being an official student, Silver knew this had been coming.

"Alright, is that everyone?" Izuku asked, glancing at the pile of gifts, "I feel like we are forgetting someone." Silver took off his Telepathy Visor and glanced around, still kinda overwhelmed with the whole thing.

"BECAUSE YOU ARE!"

Hagakure quickly pushed forward and handed Silver an empty picture frame, "I made that by hand, so you're welcome. I don't have a picture to put in it," She pulled out a nice camera, "But I'm about to. Everyone! Get into a group! Let's get a class photo!"

It was a chaotic mess of a photo, that was for sure. Hagakure laughed but also seemed a little frustrated. She wanted to get a nice photo so she asked for a recount, but Silver refused. The chaotic one was perfect, it captured the whole class in a photo, physically and personality-wise. It was perfect. So, with little complaint, Hagakure slid the photo into the handmade picture frame and handed it to Silver.

Then there was the task of taking everything up to his room, which was a bit hard. It wasn't just the birthday gifts he was taking up, it was also his shopping trip. Then he had the long chore of finding a place for everything. Ojiro sure knew what he was doing getting those cubbies. Silver spent a long portion of the night rearranging and setting up his room. From folding clothes to tucking away the little hedgehog plush. It was roughly 2 Am when he finished re-doing and fixing his dorm. Silver sighed happily, tomorrow was going to be productive. As he took off his inhibitor rings and changed into his nightwear, he made a mental list. What did he need to do tomorrow? Send in the hero suit redesign, fill out Aizawa's question list, apparently take a long shower, make sure he had his homework done, test out his Telepathy visor…He crawled under the covers and yawned.

Silver couldn't believe he had such an amazing day. More so, he couldn't help but hope his wish would come true. He felt silly hoping a candle would fulfill his wish, but with everything in him, he hoped it would come true…

Izuku; That was fairly productiv-

SilverPsychic; *Crawls out of the celler* The cake…WAS A LIE-!

Silver; Wait, he promised cake to us-?

SilverPsychic; I dunno, but I curse Mephlies for finding out my weakness…getting me interested in another fandom.

Silver; …MEPHLI- *jumps back into the celler*

SilverPsychic; I've gotten a new schedule as well so I'm trying to figure out how to work with it…I might make a fanfic for the new fandom but I dunno…I don't want to get too into it and lose interest in writing this. But then again, I also might just because of how interested I am in it…anyways. NEXT TIME! Ireallycantsaytomuch- ahem, Wild Wild Who Now? The WWPC visits the dorms and drop off some paw pad buns and Silver wastes ALL THE FRICKING TAFFY-Man though Silver has a trip seeing cat people. See you next time!

So I don't normally do this, but I have mentioned my little angel (my cat) on here before. Sadly he passed away on Mother's Day and I've been having a bit of a hard time dealing with it. He was just a little kitten when I started this fanfic and I loved to write in his presence. I was editing this chapter with him beside me in his final days, so it was quite hard to finish. So, this chapter is in dedication to Baby Garfield, my little writing and snuggling companion who I loved with all my heart. Its quite a new adjustment knowing I cant go snuggle him or scold him for trying to eat my computer screen anymore. I have every intention of continuing this fanfic, no matter how hard it is. 3 I know that was silly, but its kinda important to me.
