"Success!" Zim shouted as he showed Gaz their invitation.

"Wow, that was… easier than I thought." Said Gaz.

"Did Zim not tell you." He said.

"Zim, tells me a lot of things, that doesn't mean I believe him." She retorted.

"Regardless, we must begin packing. We have to leave tomorrow." He told her.

"Leave where?" Asked a concerned Dib as he descended the stairs.

"None of the Dib-Monkey's business, that's where." Said Zim.

"To Arcadikon." Gaz said.

"Why tell him?" Asked Zim.

"Because he's coming too." She said.

"What!?" The boys asked in Unison.

"Wo, wo wo…" Said Dib. "Coming where and why?"

"Well, Zim here got us banned from the year-end gaming tournament at Arcadikon. Apparently he peeved this year's coordinator. However, after appealing to the organizers' he got the ban removed." Said Gaz.

"What did you do?" Dib asked the alien.

"Who cares? Zim does plenty." Was all he said in reply.

"In any case…" Gaz went on. "…After I told dad about he trip leaving out the space details of course his reply was "you need a chaperone of some kind." So I told him you would chaperone us."

"Why would you tell him that!? Not like Dib has anything to do this weekend." He said Sarcastically.

There was an awkward silence for a few seconds.

"Does the Dib-Stink really want us to respond to that?" Zim asked with a slight chuckle.

"Shut up." Dib said as he walked to the refrigerator and grabbed a soda.

"So, when do we leave?" He asked begrudgingly.

"Tomorrow around Noon, it's about an eight-hour hyper speed jump, and a 2 day tournament so pack accordingly." Zim says as he exited the Membrane house.

"So, dad is really okay with you going to this tournament with Zim?" Dib asked after the space boy left.

"I told him it was a year-end video game tournament and Zim was my partner. Hence why I need a chaperone." She told him.

Dib grunted.

"What?" Asked Gaz.

"Nothing…" He said as he threw the empty soda can away and walked back upstairs.

Gaz raised an eyebrow. Her brother was acting strange…

…Then again he was Dib, so...

"So I'll be heading to this Arcadikon soon." Dib told his friend.

"Arcadikon you say?" Asked the person.

"Yeah, so we'll have to cancel our usual Saturday video chat." He said. "Doubt, that they'll have wifi."

"That's okay…" Said his friend. "…Enjoy your space trip."

After that, the two said their fair wells and dib turned off the video call.

He sighed. He had been chatting with this person about space and aliens for almost a year now. Yet He had never seen the person's face. He wasn't even sure if it was a boy or girl (He prayed to God it was a girl).

Whoever this person was he/she believed him about Zim being an alien and all his space stories. Apparently this person remembered the Florpus which was going on 4 years now since Zim nearly sent the earth into a portal. It was weird when he saw how things are now compared to how they were then. He and Zim had a somewhat uneasy truce, while Zim and his sister… well that was a whole different matter entirely.

In any case, he had to get ready, he knew whether he was packed. In truth, he was excited to see Arcadikon again. Well, he was excited for any kind of space travel really. He had experienced it a lot more actually since the truce. When he stopped and thought about it that agreement had really helped turn things around for him. Now that he and Zim weren't fighting in school so much the other kids actually started to… well to say friendly would be a bit too much. More like tolerate… yes that was more the word. He also had more time to focus on the other paranormal stuff now that he wasn't running around fighting Zim so much.

Despite all this Dib still didn't fully trust Zim. He knew it was his job to make sure no matter what that Zim's mission to take over the world was not successful.

And he wasn't going to let any kind of truce get in the way of that.

"Ah, Arcadikon." Said Zim. "Your new ruler arrives."

"Yup, and her name is Gaz." Said the pink/purple-haired human added.

"Technically you're also the old ruler or temporary ruler." Dib said.

"Oh, whatever." Said Zim as he brought the ship down.

"Welcome, please present Identification." Said a robot after the three exited the ship.

Zim, presented a holo ID, while Gaz gave her Learner's permit.

"Ah yes, team earth. Right this way." Said the bot as he floated toward a nearby building.

The three followed and after entering said building, Zim and Gaz began the registration process.

Once everything was done they received their room keys and passes.

The hotel was nearby where the tournament would be held.

"Okay, we got vouchers but they are exactly enough for the meals we should need so don't go splurging." Gaz warned her brother after they got to their room. It was about the size of an earth one-bedroom suite, and had all the amenities one would expect. Apparently the Arcadikonites even knew what to put for Earthians (as they called them) when it came to toiletries.

"Ok, let's get some room service." Dib said before receiving a slap to the back of his head from his younger sister.

"Did you not just hear what I said?" She asked. "Besides Zim said they have Arcadikon's version of pizza nearby."

"Of course." Said Dib. "Alright." Said Dib. "Let me just use the bathroom first."

Gaz turned on the television. They definitely did their research as the channels and descriptions were actually in English. However, she didn't really see any shows she was into so she turned it off.

knock* *knock*

"Who is it?" Asked Gaz.

"I have a message for you." Said the robot outside.

Gaz answered and took the holographic ring from the tray in the Robot's Metal hand. She then closed the door and went to her bed. After sitting down she activated the ring.

"Scanning." The A.I. voice said as it scanned her body.

"DNA match failed… activate again when the correct being is in the room."

With that the ring deactivated.

"What?" Asked Gaz.

"Alright, I'm ready." Said Dib as he emerged from the bathroom.

"What's that?" He asked.

"A message." She replied. "Think it just glitched."

Gaz activated it again.

"Scanning…"

Once again the device scanned the room.

"Match found."

"There you go." Said Gaz.

"Other body in the room. Should I proceed with the message?" Asked the ring.

"Sure." Said Gaz.

"I wasn't asking you." The device said.

"What?" Asked Dib as he came closer to Gaz and the ring.

"Shall I proceed?" The ring asked again.

The two siblings looked at each other. Gaz shrugged her shoulders not exactly sure what was going on.

"Um… sure." Said Dib.

"Permission received playing message."

Suddenly a holo of some figure came up.

"Hello, Dib." Said the figure though it was fuzzy so Gaz couldn't tell who or what it was.

"What is this?" Asked Dib.

"Who would send you a message here?" Asked Gaz.

"I realize this may come as a shock, but I heard you would be on Arcadikon and just wanted to welcome you." The message said.

"Who is this?" asked Dib.

"Unable to complete request." Said the device.

"Well, I will be in touch. Bye Bye."

With that the device deactivated.

"You have a friend here?" Asked Gaz.

"I don't think so…" Dib said.

"You don't even have friends on earth." Gaz told him.

"Hey…"

*Knock* *Knock*

"It's Zim and he is hungry!" Shouted the alien from the door.

"Coming!" Gaz shouted back.

"Please don't tell him about this." Said Dib as the two headed for the door.

"Trust me I won't." She told him.

"Thanks." He said.

"Not because of you." She let him know.

"But we are here for a tournament."

"And the last thing I need is a distracted Zim."
