Chapter 29 Final Battle

The heroes and monsters made their way to the extraction chamber and hid behind one of the doors and peered at what was going on. They watched as clones were produced and then given clothes, powers, and guns. Elastigirl spotted Jack-Jack strapped to a machine near the center of the chamber. Dr. Cockroach studied the layout and the machines coming up with a a plan to best deal with them. Susan looked around for the original Gallaxhar, but he didn't appear to be around.
"So what's the plan?" Asked Link.
"We need to get the baby out of that machine to stop the clones from getting powers and then we need to make our way up to that machine up in the center of the chamber and shut it down, to stop the clones from being produced." Said Dr. Cockroach.
"Get the baby first and then will shut the cloning machine down." Said Mr. Incredible.
"Just got to fight our way through a horde of super powered alien clones. Typical day for us." Said Frozone.
"Yeah, but we got the element of surprise on our side." Said Elastigirl.
"Plus we're a pretty good team." Said Mr. Incredible.
"Enough talk let's get to the alien butt kicking!" Said Link.
Dash was the first to strike up rushing into the mon of clones who haven't yet gotten powers and began to cause chaos and confusion by punching and shoving the clones into each other and caused a few clones to fall off the walkway. Violet came in next and went invisible as she through her spheres sticking the clones and knocked them down like bowling pins. The other heroes and monsters charged in and began to attack the clones and a big battle broke out as alarms blared throughout the ship.
Gallaxhar was up in the bridge and his quarters making plans on where to invade first, when the alarms went off.
"Computer what is happening?" Demanded Gallaxhar.
"It appears Susan has escaped and we have been infiltrated by the monsters and a team of heroes. They are currently in the extraction chamber fighting your clones." Said the computer.
"What?" Said Gallaxhar as he quickly pulled up a monitor showing him the battle going on in the extraction chamber.
B.O.B moved around sucking a few unlucky clones up and then spat them out like cannonballs into other clones knocking them down. Link and Mr. Incredible were knocking down some clones that had the monster transformation power. Susan fire a stolen laser at some water powered clones making them explode. Frozone blasted a few water clones freezing them into ice sculptures. Dr. Cockroach grabbed some laser guns and some other pieces of scrap metal and constructed a strange looking gun he fire at some metal clones who suddenly started to drag other metal clones to them like a magnet and they became tangled together into a giant ball that rolled over some other clones and fell off the walkway. Elastigirl jumped around some fire clones and water clones and made them collide with each other causing them to explode into clouds of steam.
"Those wretched creatures! They're making a mess! Computer send the Quantonium to the bridge, I won't risk it falling into their hands." Said Gallaxhar.
There was a whirling sound as the Quantonium was moved from the cloning machine and to the bridge of the ship. The Quantonium was transferred to a large statue of Gallaxhar that held a orb that resembled a planet. The orb glowed faintly with the Quantonium inside it.
The battle in the extraction chamber raged on as Elastigirl reached the machine that held Jack-Jack and she got him out of it. The little baby let out a tired groan as his mother held him.
"Oh you managed to rescue the bay. Big deal! I got what I needed from him, so you can have him." Said Gallaxhar as his face appeared on the tv screens in the chamber.
"Well we're going to put a stop to your invasion!" Said Susan blasting one of the screens.
The heroes turned their attention to the cloning machine as more clones swarmed towards them. Dr. Cockroach crawled on top of the machine and went inside pulling at wires and doing as much damage as he could as the others fought off the clones. Soon the machine was completely wrecked, but Dr. Cockroach couldn't find the thing that had powered it.
"The fiend must have moved the Quantonium elsewhere!" Said Dr. Cockroach.
"You really are smart." Said Gallaxhar.
"Give it up creep, we busted your machine." Said Link.
"A temporary setback. I'm going to end this. Computer close the doors for the extraction chamber and begin the purge protocol." Said Gallaxhar.
"Right away." Said the computer.
Everyone watched as big metal doors began to slowly come down over the exits of the chamber. The clones screamed in terror as they all began to madly race towards the exits and the heroes and monsters followed. Everyone raced to one exit as the door went down. A clone riding a hover scooter flew by the group raced towards the exit and Link grabbed Susan and threw her onto the scooter. The clone yelled as Susan grabbed the controls and they wrestled for it. The scooter ended up rocketing forward towards the exit and Dash raced forward with his super speed. Dash made it through the exit followed by the scooter with Susan and the clone on it a few seconds before the door closed locking the others inside. The scooter crashed and the clone tried to pull out a gun and blast Susan, but Dash came to her aid and punched the alien unconscious.
"Thanks." Said Susan as she got to her feet.
Dash and Susan raced over to the door and tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. Susan tried blasting the door, but that didn't work either.
"What do we do?" Asked Susan.
"Are you ok in there?" Asked Susan.
"We're ok. Focus on stopping Gallaxhar. He's still a threat to the Earth." Said Elastigirl through the door.
"Purge process will begin in ten minutes." Said computer's voice over the intercom.
Dash and Susan exchanged looks of horror. Then Susan got an idea as she spotted the devices beneath the scooter that allowed it to fly.
"I know exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to stop Gallaxhar and then I'm going to save our friends." Said Susan before racing to the scooter and began to tear the hover pads off.
Susan then carefully put the hover pads on her feet and she began to hover in the air.
"Awesome." Said Dash in awe.
"You focus on trying to rescue the others. I got a alien to stop." Said Susan as she flew off.
