Marisa would watch as Kirby blew fire into a oncoming crowd of Meta Knights, a crown of fire on his head with a reddish tint to his skin.
Another ability of his then, Marisa has heard of the puffball being able to copy abilities and by the looks of it they're way powerful than she thought.
Perhaps she could take a few notes from Kirby's attacks in the meantime.
Wuth that said, she would rush in as Kirby took a short glance at her with shock, realizing that she's the one that the PA announcers were talking about earlier.
Marisa would whip out her proto-hakkero jar again, aiming it at the horde of Laser Balls ahead
"I'll take it from here!" She says, grinning on the inside as the proto hakkero powered up
"Star Sign!"
The Laser Balls up ahead would sweat as they saw the lid of the jar glow up, one would look at the others before it's face grew angry, shooting a laser bolt at the Keke in an attempt to interrupt her preparation.
Unfortunately the Keke would instead dash to her other side, grazing the bolt and chuckling in response
"Too bad! Now's my turn!" She shook her jar several times before aiming it at the horde "Magishotzo Blast!"
A large blue star would form from the lid of the jar, growing in size before it detached from the jar and headed straight towards the hoard.
The crowd of Laser Balls would panic as they attempted to fly away, only for the giant blue star to explode on contact with the ground, launching several miniature star projectiles into the air and catching the escaping Laser Balls. Hitting them and making the living energy balls fall to the ground.
"First Spell Card test complete!" She spun her hakkero around and pretended to blow into the jar's lid "Now my months of hard work paid off.."
The PA System roared to life once again
"A named attack in this time of the year!?"
"I'll admit! It was pretty cool to look at"
"Don't just compliment the enemy Sailor Dee!" The gruff voice scolded
"Thank you!" She mocked bowed at the bridge of the ship, before laughing and turning her head to Kirby whose eyes were sparkling in awe
"Uwaaaaaah!"
"Looks cool right?" She winked at him "Months of practice in the forests did me wonders after all! Besides, we still got a job to do Kirby.." She turned towards the left wing of the ship
"Hai!" He ran straight towards the large wing of the Halberd
"No wait a second.. Kirby's heading for the wing!"
"You don't think he'd.."
The person with the gruff voice would immediately know what Sailor Dee was talking about, speaking into the PA system to warn the crew
"Attention to all! We need to keep Kirby away from the left wing!"
"Not if I can't help it!" She dashed forward and spun in circles, whacking the incoming Sir Kibbles away with the broom head. Right before knocking them out with a few shots from her proto-hakkero. "You're all my business now so hit it!"
a Capsule J would fly in with gritted teeth before pointing at Marisa, followed by a crowd of other Meta Knight recruits
"Take out the aggressors first!"
What followed next was a series of beatdowns and projectile dodging, the Meta Knights ranging from Poppy Bros to Gims, and Scarfies to Laser Balls.
Marisa would dash in to land a few close shots at the incoming Scarfies before shooting at the Poppy Bros with star bullets, knocking them out and hitting a few strays that were in the way.
She would fly away from a few bombs that were thrown into her way, followed by a few laser bolts coming from the Laser Balls..
"Ow! Watch it!" She cursed, a laser bolt hitting her right arm, she rubbed her arm with her other hand as she flew around and weaved around the many projectiles shot at her way
"Damn, this is gonna take a few snacks to heal then.." She shook her head as she spun verically in circles, right before chanting another attack
"Magic Sign!" She attaches her hakkero on the broom head of her personal broom, before tapping it several times as it glowed up
"Stardust Reverie!"
She would blast away towards the Poppy Bros at the back, leaving behind star projectiles and making the Poppy Bros scramble until they would scatter from the impact of Marisa's kamikaze attack.
She flew back with a hand on her hat, laughing at the result of her other spell card attempt
"Wahahaaha! It works too! Im so definitely winning against Reimu if we ever fight again" She dusted her clothes off as she flew forward towards the left wing of the flying ship.
As she flew, she was intercepted by several Laser Balls flying at her in an attempt to stop her from her path. But unfortunately for them Marisa would outclass them in firepower as they would soon be on the ground rolling and blacked out.
Marisa blew into her jar's lid again after using it.
"Geez who would've thought that a Keke would be able to have this much power?"
"Doesn't look too good on both sides.. Kirby's on toe to toe with Frosty and the Keke's wiping out our recruits!"
"Gah! Frosty watch out!"
The moment the PA System ended it's message, Marisa would immediately cover her ears as she heard several booming sounds not far from here, she would wince in pain before looking at where the explosion come from.
Only to see the the wing of the Halberd explode into scraps and pieces, a chain explosion occuring in each part of the wing before the Halberd began to tilt on it's left side.
"...Kirby did all of that huh."
She says as she watched a Warp Star fly out of the explosion, and right after it revolved back to the wing to fly into it, a familiar pink blob hitching a ride on said star.
Right, he still has business to do..
"The left wing is destroyed! Damage to 74 percent on the wing!" The PA announcers panicked
"Arrgh!"
"We're starting to lose stability because of it!"
"Retract the sails! Give more lift to the left wing!"
They're starting to lose composure by the looks of it as she heard mutterings and panic from the PA system. Grinning inwardly she began to fly straight for the right wing
"Hey you don't think.."
"Yikes! I think she's headed straight for the right wing too!" The now identified Sailor Dee responded
"We still have to keep an eye out on Kirby! From what I can see, he's currently in the ducts right now!"
"Calm your senses Mace Knight, all units be prepared for their presences!"
"I think I may have an idea once they reach the other wing.." The gruff voice ominously said
Marisa would fly over the destroyed deck where the Combo Cannon was once located. Shooting down several Laser Balls that went her way and encountering at least a dozen troops ranging from Poppy Bros to Mace Knights and Trident Knights with their main motive being to take down the keke.
Surprisingly they've put up a rather good fight against her, by the looks of it they seem to be more experienced troops of whoever owned this massive ship.
Marisa would weave out of the way from the bombs that were thrown at her, holding her hat as explosions rocked the deck behind her. Followed by nearly dodging a few more maces aimed at her, a swing and two narrowly hitting her only for Marisa to fly up and rain down stars upon the troops.
The Meta Knights would take cover from the shooting stars, some ducking behind cover while others used their arms to cover their body.
The ones unfortunate enough would let themselves be pelted by Marisa's searing stars, burning their body and knocking a few out. Some remained standing albeit shaky, while a few others tried to get back up from the attack
"Still up? Well I got a few more tricks up my sleevee!" She shouted
"Gh! Meta Knights attack!" One rallied the others, prompting them to take action and rush at the Keke again.
She had one more spell card that she has been thinking about up in her mind.
"Stardust Sign!" She took out a few mushrooms from her hat and opened the lid, filling it up quickly(a few would fall to the ground) before she swiftly closed the jar shook her proto-hakkero again, a unique chemical reaction forming within the jar "Rippling Starfall!"
She aimed at the Meta Knights as they braced for another attack, the proto-hakkero launching blinding star projectiles that began to bounce on the ground, the bouncing would make the stars go up a few feet into the air before descending back down. Additionally, they explode on contact with people.
The Meta Knights were unfortunately her personal test subjects as the stars impacted some of the few more unfortunate targets, exploding and scattering the Meta Knights all around.
The bouncing ability that the stars had also resulted in a few Laser Balls being caught in the crossfire, launching them away from Marisa's general vicinity and knocking them out.
"Test success!" She spun her proto-hakkero, until it escaped her grasp to which she would suddenly begin to try and catch the hakkero before it fell.
She caught it ontime "WAH- w-whew!" She wiped sweat off from her forehead, her ears drooping down from that alone "Never doing that again, less I shatter my proto-hakkero in the process.."
She shook her head before flying straight for the right wing, shrugging off the PA system that began speaking again about Kirby's progress and eventually her progress towards the wing as well.
Yeah they were not happy about her being near the right wing, especially the gruff voice guy who seems to be shouting incoherent swears about how their crewmembers were defeated by a Keke alone.
"Pfft" It amused her a little, not even 30 minutes in and the giant ship has already lost it's two major parts to two meddlesome Dreamlanders.
As she flew towards the right wing, she examined it's possible weakpoints, the joints and stuff, before aiming the hakkero at the parts where she would assume would be the weakest
"I think that's that, so take this!"
A few volleys of star projectiles all flew out from the jar and into the targetted points where it struck.
As if her educated guesses were right, the right wing suddenly had a chain of explosions, rocking the halberd once more and making the Keke smile on the inside. All the while she covered her ears from the sounds the explosions were making
"HAHA! TAKE THAT...! Ah..?"
She promptly saw Kirby fly out of said explosion, her eyes following the pink puffball riding the Warp Star as he flew into another section of the Halberd.
"Eek! Looks like the explosion from the Heavy Lobster took out the right wing!"
"SAY WHAT!?" She screamed, finally paying attention to the PA system for once. So Kirby's the reason as to why it blew up!?
"You heard him right!" Sailor Dee replied
"Besides that, hm..." The gruff voice thought for a second "Maybe having both wings destroyed may be just what we needed..."
"Yeesh!" And now she reverts back to grimacing on the inside "That kind of mindset might kill you one day"
"Shut up!" The gruff voice lashed out "it's my tactical mind thinking!"
"Calm yourself Captain Vul" The suave voice replied, finally giving the gruff voice a name that Marisa shall recognize.
"Kirby is climbing around the outside of the ship. I think he's heading for the helm..."
"Bah! Whatever" She shook her head "Im just gonna ransack your ship for anything valuable!" She would immediately fly towards the holes that Kirby had created right after the right wing explosion. Flying past a few Broom Hatters who desperately tried cleaning up the mess Kirby made.
She would fly past a few rooms, reading their signs with squinted eyes before it would land on the section "Armory"
"Aaand the Keke now has a pick of her lot as well.."
"Wonder what she's going after..?"
"Hehe.." She rubbed her hands and opened the door, revealing inside several weapons from various sources.
From swords to wands.. Marisa was interested in only the magical aspects of the armory, as she grabbed a wand from the stash and place it inside her hat, that particular staff seemed interesting
The Keke didn't have anything better to store that staff in.
With that being said, the other staffs in this room seemed boring or just generic overall, she's seen these in Simirror Magicians and such.
As the Pa system crackled to life again to comment on Kirby's current progress within the Halberd, Marisa would exit the armory before flying off, looking for more rooms to ransack. Time passed by as Marisa opened a few doors to see empty rooms filled with tables and such, the typical things you'd find on ships.
"NOOO! MY SECRET STASH OF FOOD!"
"So you were the one hoarding them! You scallywag!"
Huh, so she wasn't the only one with a mania around here.
Anyway she would continue to search the Halberd Interior from the top. Intercepting a few large birds that just so happen to be inside these halls for some reason and Moto Shotzos! She's never seen these before but they were a defeatable version of these annoying Shotzos you'd find around ruins.
She took her years of frustration from the Shotzos onto these particular enemies. Decimating them with her proto-hakkero.
As she was about to open a door, the PA System echoed back to life once more
"Kirby is headed for the reactor!"
"If we lose the reactoe, this is all over for sure!"
Crap! She's running out of time! Better be quick then! Thank gods for the fact that the rest of the crew were either knocked out or focused on Kirby right now because she's about to begin a full blown inspection of the ship for anything valuable!
"Never fear, I don't think Kirby can do anything to the reactor"
"So long as a reflected laser doesn't hit the reactor, it will be invisible!" Sailor Dee dropped one hell of a bombshell for Kirby to take advantage of
"EEYYAAAH! Don't even say things like that!"
"Wow loud much?" She spoke smugly to one of the computers
"Shut up! Sailor, you'll be punished accordingly to this!"
"Y-yes Captain Vul!" Huh..
With that out of the way, she began to look for whatever is interesting within the now opened room, a full storage room for herself to search through! Wow!
She flew around noting the inactive Moto Shotzos and.. A yellow lobster-like mech.. She didn't really pay much attention to the PA system earlier so she doesn't actually know the name of this particular beast.
The Keke knocked on the metal two times. Wow, seems tough to fight.
Anyway! She flew around even more, looking for more valuables.. From corners to nooks and crannies.. Her ears drooped upon realization
"Hey! This doesn't even have a speck of something interesting!" She shouted
"Hey! Not our fault we don't have much to present at the Storage Room! We just launched the Halberd recently!" A voice spoke
"Halberd huh?" She looked around and tapped her foot on the broom "Nice name for a ship this destructible"
She heard Captain Vul swear for a moment until she immediately saw the surroundings shake immediately, her grip on her broom hardened.
"The reactor has been destroyed!"
"All of our Wheelie power sources are escaping!"
"Huh whuh?" She replied, confused
"Aaargh! What are you idiots doing?!"
And then a huge explosion rocked the ship once more, the Halberd tilting to it's side once more as evidenced of a empty crate that slid and nearly hit Marisa, with her flying out of the way with a gasp
"All systems are failing! No. 3 and No. 5 engines are gone!"
"We're junked! Nothing left to do but crash!"
"Attention to all remaining crewmembers! Evacuate ship immediately!"
"Aaah! This ship is done for! I gotta get out of here!"
"Yikes!" So Kirby has finally done it, he blew up the main power source of the Halberd..
"Welp!" She kicked her broom and pretended to rev it up "This has been an eventful Incident so far but it's too shortlived! Im outta here!"
But first! To meet the guy with the suave voice, possibly the perpetrator of this Incident..
