"Copen told Mytyl and now my sister's traumatized." Naomi groaned.

"Do you ever feel like you've been at the wrong place at the wrong time?" Moniqa pondered.

"All the time, it's like I'm not supposed to exist." Naomi agreed.

"I'm sorry you feel that way." Moniqa apologized.

"It's alright, it's kind of funny actually. When I go to bed, it feels like I'm having a sleepover at someone's house." Naomi giggled.

That certainly didn't help Moniqa feel any better. Deciding to separate herself from this, the older girl went to stir the pot.

"I can stir it you know, I am fifteen." Naomi commented.

"We can't even trust you with a bomb the way you're going." Moniqa denied.

"You're putting me on the same boat as Zeno!?" Naomi complained.

After hitting the spoon against the pot to get any pieces of veggies off, Moniqa returned to the couch.

"I'm sorry if I'm misbehaving or anything. I don't want you to think of me as some delinquent like Viper." Naomi stated.

"I don't. It's just, we're all worried about you getting Quill in trouble. Well, more than we're already in that is." Moniqa explained.

"Why wasn't I banned or fired then?" Naomi wondered.

"Asimov said you're our best chance right now. You're even stronger than GV. And that's a lot, especially coming from Asimov. GV even agreed when we asked him what he thought of your Septimas." Moniqa elucidated.

Naomi could feel herself blushing.

"What about you? What's your opinion? Other than I'm a horrible person." Naomi ranted.

"For being put on the same boat as Zeno?" Moniqa guessed.

"Yeah, Zeno's terrible. He can't do anything right. So that I can't handle a bomb comment? Downright shameful." Naomi retorted.

Moniqa didn't think Naomi would take it that seriously.

"I wanted to ask you something, I hope you don't mind." Moniqa whispered.

"Sure, what's up?" Naomi beamed.

Now, Moniqa didn't want to ask and wipe the smile off Naomi's face. She's seen only some of what Naomi's gone through. Moniqa didn't even want to be the last person to make Naomi sad.

"Uh, well, I was curious. Why do you always use red pens at work?" Moniqa questioned.

"Oh, that. I just like to pretend I'm writing with the blood of my enemies that's all." Naomi elaborated.

'Oh, so that's why Naomi always has a huge smile on her face when making notes at work.' Moniqa realized.

"Yeah, that's totally creepy and now you don't like me anymore I know. I'd better get going then, so you can stomach something for work tomorrow." Naomi supposed as she shrugged her shoulders and got up to leave.

"I can't eat all this by myself you know." Moniqa remarked.

That was the same time when the quote "You know the difference between you and me? I make this look good." from Agent Jay came on.

"Ha! I so gotta tell Copen that!" Naomi cackled.

Soon, the stew was done and Moniqa called Naomi to put some rice on the plates. Once that was done, Moniqa put some stew on the plates. Naomi's mouth watered as she looked at the plates. Sure enough, her stomach growled.

"I guess that snack held you over long enough." Moniqa teased.

"It was really good." Naomi added.

Moniqa went back to sit down and thought Naomi followed her. Until she turned around and saw Naomi open the fridge and put her plate in the fridge.

"Naomi what are you doing!?" Moniqa shrieked as she swung the fridge door open and removed Naomi's plate.

That's when the younger girl got angry, huffed and folded her arms.

"I wanted to cool it off faster." Naomi responded.

Moniqa never thought of that. She felt stupid for that.

"I never thought of that, that's actually a really smart idea." Moniqa complimented.

"Ice cubes work too if you don't want to put it in the fridge." Naomi added.

"Where did you learn that from?" Moniqa queried.

"My mom." Naomi replied.

"Why do you like me so much?" Moniqa inqueried.

"Because you're the only sane person I've seen working there. That and us girls have gotta stick together." Naomi explained.

"Take care." Moniqa smiled as Naomi left.

Naomi decided the best way to leave would be to teleport. She showered, brushed her teeth, washed her face and went to bed. However, that night was not pleasant for Naomi in the slightest. Naomi found herself at an all too familiar environment once she opened her eyes.

The pitch black darkness was replaced by a glass panel and metal flooring. Naomi instantly knew where she was, especially when she saw, it. The machine that caused her to torture others, unwillingly enlisting them to work for Sumeragi's bidding. That wasn't even the worst part yet.

After looking up, Naomi was mortified at what she was seeing. If she knew this was what would've happened when she went to sleep that night, Naomi would've drank a whole pot of black coffee. Cold, if that was what it took to keep her up all night. Because the sight she was looking at was worse than having Copen judge her over her shoulder while working on Lola.

Nova was eight feet away from her, seven feet in the air. Naomi felt him staring practically into the depths of her soul. Naomi then saw the blank darkness before her once again. It was 12:55 when she awoke in a cold sweat.

She contemplated calling Moniqa, but she'd done enough for Naomi. So, she found the way to Mytyl's bedroom. Mytyl was sleeping on her back close to the wall. Naomi quietly lifted the blanket, adjusted herself, hugged Mytyl and went back to sleep.
