36: Byakugan Battle: Hinata Grows Bold!

Suiren Uzumaki: The disclaimer: I do not own Naruto cause if I did then Sakura wouldn't be a useless fangirl in pre-shippuden, and Naruto would have his father's smarts while keeping his mother's personality and knows about seals and how to use to them. I do, however, own Ryurama Senju, Yuki Senju nee Miran, Raika Miran (Senju), & the White Tiger Summoning Contract (A/N: If there is already a White Tiger Summoning Contract…then please ignore the last part). Remember to Read and Review to let me know what you think. Also, if you don't like any twist that I might make then stop reading and find something else to read plus don't leave a review that's a flame or I will find a way to block you. Ja ne!

…My Line…

The Wood Style User moved to the side away from an attack before grabbing his attacker by the wrist and throwing him into the second one.

'Well, I guess it is time to really get serious then,' Naruto thought with a smirk before he clapped his hands together to form the snake sign. "Wood Style: Wood Dragon Jutsu!"

A gigantic wooden dragon rose up from under the blonde which took many people by surprise.

"That's it," Kiba growled. "Man Beast Ultimate Taijutsu: Fang over Fang!"

Both Kiba and Akamaru turned onto spinning tops to attack Naruto only for the dragon that he made to use it's tail and knock them out of the air away from him.

...My Line...

Hinata looked away for a moment before looking back.

...My Line...

"Give up Kiba!" the blonde called out. "You are not going to win this!"

The Inuzuka growled as threw smoke grenade once again making Naruto to roll his eyes before looking heaven ward as if he was asking for patience.

...My Line...

The Senju Heir wasn't the only one to look up towards the heavens as if they were asking for patience seeing as Raika did the same thing only she had followed that with face palm.

...My Line...

Naruto ran through hand signs once again only this time ending the bird hand sign.

"Wing Style: Great Breakthrough!" he called out.

The blonde brought his hand to his mouth before blowing a large blast of wind that dispersed the smoke cloud. This was done in time to see the two tunnels coming right at his wooden dragon making him to jump off as it was destroyed. The Senju Heir then reached into his back pouch and pulled out his own smoke grenades. However, these versions were different from the ones used by Kiba because as soon as Naruto tossed them onto the ground, he used his chakra to cut off his sense of smell just as the Inuzuka and his hound got closer.

...My Line...

"What?" Kurenai breathed in shock as Kiba and Akamaru howled in pain. "What did he do?"

"Stink grenades," Raika snorted. "Aniki used their sense of smell against them."

The Yuhi looked at her in shock before looking back.

...My Line...

"Very clever," Kakashi said.

"Huh?" Raika looked back at him confused.

"Wait," he told her. "You'll see."

...My Line...

When the smoke from the grenade that Naruto used cleared three Kibas were standing facing each other.

...My Line...

The Miran started to snicker before she howled in laughter.

"Of course!" she yelled. "I should have known, Aniki, would pull this trick!" This made everyone to look at her. "He always tried to use it against me when we train together."

"But, your a sensor," Choji stated in confusion.

"I said that he TRIES to use it against me," the greenette deadpanned as she rolled her eyes. "Not that it worked."

...My Line...

"It's genius," Hinata stated.

...My Line...

"He's made himself look like Kiba," Ino stated in awe. "Now Kiba doesn't know which one to go after. He's got to be careful because he might be attacking Akamaru."

"And meanwhile, Naruto is safe to attack either one," Lee said in awe. "Brilliant idea! WHOO!"

"He's got him completely stake-mate."

...My Line...

"Okay, so I see that you have gotten better at the Transformation Jutsu," Kiba stated. "But, you've forgotten one little thing. I'll admit that you look just like me and threw me for a minute, but I still know which one is you. Want to know why?" The Inuzuka punched the Kiba on his right. "I can smell ya kid even with that stink bomb. There's just no getting past our sense of smell. Tough luck."

...My Line...

'By concentrating chakra into his nose making Kiba's sent a 1000 times more sensitive then average,' the Yuhi thought. 'It's easy to distinguish people by their sent.'

...My Line...

Raika hide a laugh of amusement with a cough as she saw Naruto's plan.

...My Line...

"Haha, games over," Kiba laughed as his copy vanished, however, to his shock it was Akamaru instead of Naruto that was laying there.

...My Line...

'What happened?' Shino thought. 'Kiba's nose got them mixed up, but how?' His then snapped up. 'Of course, that stink grenade! It must have messed up Kiba's sense of smell more then he thought it did.'

...My Line...

'No way,' Kiba thought in shock. 'It's impossible.' He let out a growl and looked behind him at the other one. "So, it's you." He spun around. "Stop missing with me!" He punched the other Kiba which sent him flying before he skid across the ground and was enveloped in a cloud of smoke as another Akamaru soon appeared from the smoke taking the Inuzuka by surprise. "What?"

...My Line...

'Well, this is coming from the original class clown after all,' the Hatake thought in amusement.

...My Line...

'Kiba was fooled.'

...My Line...

The first Akamaru stood up before turning back into Naruto, who kicked Kiba in the jaw and sent him flying.

...My Line...

"Way to go, Aniki!" the Miran called out.

...My Line...

"That was just amazing," Hinata said in awe and a smile.

...My Line...

Kiba sat up and looked at the down Akamaru before looking up with a glare at the blonde in front of him.

"I have played with you long enough, Kiba," Naruto stated as he cracked his knuckles. "It's time that I..." The Senju Heir bit his right thumb and swiped over his inner wrist of his left hand. "End this."

A seal appeared on his left wrist before smoke appeared and a sheathed tantō with red wraps around the handle.

...My Line...

"Who would know that Naruto could be that smart," Ino stated in shock.

...My Line...

Naruto then unsheathed the blade that he pulled out before he tossed aside the sheath and helped the tantō loosely at his side.

"Ah, squirt."

"Smart shinobi is careful how he uses his jutsu," Naruto stated as Kiba stood up. "Otherwise, it's libel to come back and bite him on the ass. Dummy."

...My Line...

'Hey, that's my line,' thought Kakashi. 'Sort of.'

Raika snorted as she threw him a smirk over her shoulder like she could hear the silver hair Jonin's thoughts.

...My Line...

'Arguing with this kid is a waste of energy,' the Inuzuka thought. 'I can't play his game. Got to keep calm.' The dog using ninja bite into his hand. 'Keep calm.' He stood up. 'Okay, Naruto is stronger then the rest of us believed him to be...minus Raika, of course...so, I have to this carefully. However, I am a lot faster then he is. He can't keep up with me.' Kiba pulled out 8 shurikens. 'All I have to do is watch for an opening, get behind, and take him down with my All Fours Jutsu. That's right. No worries. Just keep my head. There's no way I'd lose this match.'

...My Line...

'Careful Naruto,' the Hatake thought. 'Your opponent has calmed himself down. So, what's your next move?'

...My Line...

Naruto turned his blue eyes onto Hayate, who nodded his head, before he looked up at Raika to see a smirk on her face. The blonde turned his eyes onto his opponent before going through a single handed hand signs taking everyone by surprise.

"Are you finally getting serious, Kiba?" the Senju Heir asked. "Good. That means that this won't be an easy win for me."

"Say what?" Kiba asked. "You could hardly throw a punch right in the academy!"

The wood user blinked for a bit.

"It's called deception, Kiba," Naruto deadpanned. "After all, the civilians wanted me to be stupid, so I pretended to be stupid, but not anymore." He smirked. "Now, THEY can't touch me without getting into trouble. So, I am shedding the image that I had built and the me that is standing here is the real ONE!"

...My Line...

"Doesn't Kiba know that deception is a ninja's greatest weapon?" Raika asked in confusion.

"You would think," Ino answered. "But, if you ask me, Kiba isn't all that bright."

"Differently not the sharpest kunai in the pouch," Choji added.

"What a drag," the Nara sighed.

The greenette snorted in amusement at that.

...My Line...

"Then bring it on, dead last!" the Inuzuka yelled.

"I guess, it's time to show how much of the Uzumaki techniques that I have learned over the years while in the academy," Naruto smirked.

'Come on Kiba,' the slightly older Genin thought. 'Don't let this punk get to you. Just stay calm. Stay in the game.'

"You ready?" the blonde asked as he fell into the being stance of the Uzu no Maiha (Dance of the Waves Vortex).

Kiba took in a run towards the Senju Heir.

"Whatever, he's got in mind, I'll just have to make sure that he doesn't try it.

'Seriously,' Naruto thought as Kiba threw his shuriken at him only for the blonde to use his tantō to knock them away. 'A frontal attack is not going to work on me.'

"Beast Mimicry: All Fours Jutsu!"

...My Line...

"That again?" Ino asked. "Talk about a one trick pony."

"It's the Inuzuka style of taijutsu," Asuma told her. "Though it is more effective with a ninhound."

"Kiba should try and learn some ninjutsu that can compliment his taijutsu and genjutsu to confusion his opponents so he CAN use his taijutsu," Raika deadpanned.

...My Line...

Kurenai looked at the greenette in surprise before looking back at the fight in thought.

'Kiba learning ninjutsu and genjutsu isn't all that bad of an idea,' she thought. 'I should talk to Tsume about it and see what she thinks of the idea.'

...My Line...

Every time that Kiba tries to attack Naruto, the blonde either blocks his hits or dodges.

"What are you waiting for?" the Inuzuka asked.

The Senju Heir jumped back away from him before he shot towards Kiba and he started to dance around the older Genin.

...My Line...

Many of the on lookers were in shock as it looked like the blonde was dancing on waves while making vortex like movements such as a whirlpool. They all watched as cuts started to appear on the Inuzuka though they weren't life threating, but still looked painful.

...My Line...

Naruto soon appeared right behind Kiba and using the butt of his tantō on the back of the Inuzuka's head, the wood user knocked the other Genin out. The blonde stepped back and looked over at Hayate, who stepped forward to look at Kiba, before the Gekko stepped back.

"The winner is Naruto Uzumaki," Hayate announced.

...My Line...

"WHOO!"

...My Line...

"Yes!" the Miran cheered. "You showed them, Aniki! Way to go!"

...My Line...

"Unbelievable," Shikamaru said with a grin. "Who would have thought that he could beat Kiba?!"

"A major upset," Choji added as Ino nodded her head.

...My Line...

Naruto walked over to the sheath where he resheathed his tantō before walking back to the stairs as he resealed the blade.

...My Line...

'He's coming,' the Hyuuga female thought. 'What do I do? What do I do?' The blunette swallowed as the blonde walked by her. "N-Naruto."

"Huh?" the Senju Heir looked over his shoulder at her. "You say something Hinata?"

"I-I t-thought m-maybe..." she trailed off and swallowed before she walked to him and held out a jar of some kind.

"Huh?"

'Hinata? Well, well.'

"What is this?" Naruto asked gently.

"It's a healing ointment," Kurenai answered for her.

"For me?" the blonde asked in surprise. "What ever for?"

The blunette just stood there with a blush.

"Just take it, Naruto," the Yuhi told him. "Go ahead."

The wood user looked at her with a raised eyebrow before looking back at Hinata.

"Thanks Hinata," he said with a smile. "It's very nice of you, but I think that you should give it to Kiba, who needs something like that more."

The red eyed, dark hair Jonin was surprised, but then again she shouldn't have been as Naruto had always had a kind heart.

"Hmm, okay," Hinata said softly.

"I do appreciate the thought though, Hinata," Naruto told her as he turned around to walk back to his sensei and friend. "So, thanks again."

Kurenai looked back at her other student, who was being taken away by medics, as Hinata headed down the stairs.

'You have nothing to be ashamed of Kiba,' the Yuhi thought. 'Who could have imaged that he would be not only a strong opponent, but also the Senju Heir.'

...My Line...

'Silly Hinata,' Neji thought as he watched with a glare. 'Not a care in the world.'

The brown hair Hyuuga was unaware that he was being watched by a pair of wine red eyes.

...My Line...

"Hmm, Kiba," Hinata said softly as she walked up making the Inuzuka to look at her. "Here. Here's some healing ointment. It's for you and Akamaru."

"Ha, forget about us," the Inuzuka said. "You better should start worrying about yourself, Hinata."

"What do you mean?"

"Only 6 left," Kiba told her. "You, Choji, Neji, Lee, and those three guys from the Stone and Sand Villages. Listen to me, be smart." This surprised. "If they put you in with that guy from Sunagakure, you've got to forfeit the match. The same with Neji. Be smart and just walk away. Trust me. He'll be merciless. He'll destroy you."

...My Line...

"Alright, we'll now pick names for the next match," Hayate announced.

...My Line...

Everyone looked at the screen as it ran through the last 6 names before stopping on two names.

Hinata Hyuuga vs Neji Hyuuga

...My Line...

Hinata stared in horror along with Kiba.

...My Line...

'Hinata,' Kurenai thought in worry.

...My Line...

'Hmm, this should an interesting match indeed,' Hiruzen thought.

...My Line...

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU IDIOTS THINKING!?" Raika yelled in outraged horror. "PUTTING SWEET, INNOCENT, KIND, AND LOVING HINATA UP AGAINST THAT MAD RAGING LUNATIC!"

"Raika, calm down," Kakashi told her.

"Calm down," the greenette growled as she glared at the Hatake. "You want me to calm down!" Naruto backed up a bit in fear. "Neji Hyuuga holds a fucking grudge against Hinata for what happened when she was 3...3! He acts like a 3-year-old CHILD, who had only just started her training, can take on and defeat a grown ass JONIN! And you want me to calm the FUCK DOWN!?"

The Senju Heir snorted at that as even HE thought it was stupid to expect the impossible from a toddler.

...My Line...

"RAIKA!" the Sarutobi called out.

...My Line...

The Miran looked over at him.

"Sensei?"

...My Line...

"That is enough," the Hokage told her.

...My Line...

"But, Sensei..."

...My Line...

"ENOUGH!" the Sandaime yelled.

...My Line...

A vicious glare came to the hidden Senju Princess' face as she stared at the Hokage before turning her glare onto Neji, who flinched, while she raised a finger from where she crossed her arms.

...My Line...

Everyone's eyes widen as the noticed a faint blue outline that surrounded the Miran, who had unleashed her killin' intent on the Hyuuga male.

...My Line...

"Raika," Naruto growled as he was outlined in a faint purple halo. "Lower your finger."

...My Line...

By now a lot of people were choking on the combined killin' intent even though they weren't the one's on the receiving end.

...My Line...

"Humphed," Raika scoffed as she reeled in her KI and lower her finger. "No need to rally up your chakra, Aniki."

The blonde cackled as he also reeled in his own KI while scratching the back of his head.

"Sorry everyone!" Naruto called out. "Rai-chan *"STOP CALLING ME THAT!"* is just over protective of her friends and well..." He scratched one of his whiskered cheeks. "Hinata is her only female friend."

...My Line...

The Kunoichis from the Sand and Stone flinched at that as they knew how that feels to only be surrounded by boys with one female companion.

...My Line...

Kakashi stared at his two students in surprise at how much they act like the Senju Brothers, but with their relation to the brothers what didn't make sense to him before does now.

'I just had to be the teacher of three high profile targets, did I?' he thought. 'Is this karma for being a little shit as a child? Or is it just bad luck?'

...My Line...

The two Hyuugas walked up to face each other with Hayate keeping an eye on them.

"I never thought that you and I would have to face each other, Hinata," Neji stated.

"Nor I, brother," the blunette agreed softly.

...My Line...

"What'd she call him?" Ino asked in shock.

"Brother?" Naruto asked as he looked at them. "Those two are brother and sister?"

...My Line...

The two Hyuugas just stood there.

...My Line...

"They are both decedent from the Hyuuga Clan," Kakashi informed them. "One of the ancient and honorable families *Both Naruto and Raika snorted at that* of Konohagakure. Not actually brother and sister."

"Okay," Ino said as she looked at him while he smacked the unaware cousins upside the head. "But, they are still related to each other somehow right?"

"Yeah," the Hatake answered. "In away that a branch of a great tree is related to it's trunk. Technically they are more like cousins."

"A trunk of a tree?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow. 'Is he making fun of my Wood Style or something?'

"Yes," Lee answered for the silver hair Jonin. "Hinata belongs to the clan's main house hold directly decedent from the Head of the Clan while Neji's family is just a side branch of the clan."

"But, still their family and they have to fight each other," Ino said sadly. "I feel for them. It must be hard."

"Yes," Lee agreed with her. "But..."

"But, what?"

"It may not be as hard as it seems," Lee stated. "I have heard that for many generations now that there has been some bad blood between the two families."

"Why is that?" the blonde asked.

"I have never known the specific, but..." Lee looked at them. "You know of the bloodline treats of the great ninja clans like the Uchiha, Hyuuga, and now Senju. Special techniques and abilities unique to those families. The first generation of the Hyuuga Clan made all sorts of rules and decrees that favor the main branch of the family, but it seems that some of these branches broke these rules."

"Huh?"

"Anyway, it said because of that there has been frictions between the clan."

"So, it's like this match is a family feud," Ino said in shock.

"This is a bit different from that though," Raika finally spoke up.

"What?"

"Hinata's and Neji's fathers were twins," the Miran stated making those listening to gasp in shock. "But, something happened back when Hinata was 3 and Neji was 4 that ended up with that lunatic male fool harbor an unfounded hatred for his baby cousin."

"Why?" Choji asked as he looked over at her.

Raika shook her head.

"I can't say anything more then I already have.

The blonde to hmm before he looked back though he was keeping a close eye on his honorary sister.

...My Line...

The two Hyuugas just stood there looking at each other without saying a word.

...My Line...

"Look, their about to start," Kakashi stated.

...My Line...

"Alright," Hayate said. "You may begin when ready."

"Before we do this," Neji spoke up. "A word of advice. Hinata, listen to me?" This made the young blunette to look up at him in surprise. "Withdraw now. You know that you were never meant to be a ninja." This made her to gasp as her eyes widen. "You are to kind and gentle. You seek harmony and avoid conflict. You allow yourself to be easily swayed by others." Hinata looked away from him. "Admit. You have no confidence. You feel inferior to everyone else here. It would be simply better for you if you remain a Genin, but to register for the Chunin Exams, you need a team of three people. You never even wanted to take part in these exams, but Kiba and Shino did and you couldn't bare letting your teammates down. Could you?"

"No," Hinata finally spoke up. "Y-Your wrong. Your wrong. I wanted...I had to find out...I did it because I wanted to see if I could change."

...My Line...

Raika grind her teeth together while gripping the railings in front of her tightly.

...My Line...

The rest of the rookies all looked at the blunette unsure of how to react.

...My Line...

'Hinata,' Kurenai thought.

...My Line...

Kurenai stood in a dojo watching as a man with Hinata's eyes looked at a young girl.

"Stand up, Hanabi," he ordered.

"Very well," the Yuhi said as she looked at him while the young girl tried to stand. "I will take Hinata under my wing, but...are you sure that is what you want? She is your first born and Heir to your household. A life of a Genin can be dangerous and brief."

"Do what you will," the man told her. "She is less worth of her sister..." The young girl managed to get to her feet. "5 years her junior. The Hyuuga Clan has no use for such an Heir." Hanabi looked up at him while panted as Kurenai became furious. "If you have nothing more to say. We have work to do. Leave us now."

"Alright," the Yuhi agreed as she turned to leave.

...My Line...

However, once she stepped out of the dojo, she noticed that Hinata was standing there having heard everything.

...My Line...

'Hinata has struggled to became, who she wanted to be,' the Yuhi thought.

...My Line...

"Hinata, you are the pampered offspring of the Hyuuga's main branch," Neji stated.

"What?"

"People can't changed," he stated. "No matter how hard they try." This took Hinata by surprise. "They can't run away from their true nature. Once a failure always be a failure."

...My Line...

This pissed off Naruto and Raika both.

'Listen to this guy,' the Uzumaki thought.

...My Line...

"People are judged by their true nature," the Hyuuga male went on. "It is the way of the world. That is why we have the elite and there are outcasts." Hinata let out a gasp. "We can change our physical appearance and improved our skills with training and study, but ultimately we are judged by what we cannot change. What can't be changed must be endured. We are who we are, Hinata, and we must live with it. Just like I must live with the fact that you were born into the elite of our clan while I am from a lesser branch."

...My Line...

Naruto let out a growl.

...My Line...

"I know these things because I can see the world clearly," Neji stated. "With my Byakugan. Despite your brave words what you really thinking is that you would like to run...run as fast and as far away from here as you can."

"No!" Hinata said. "Your wrong. Your wrong all about me!"

...My Line...

"Byakugan?" Ino asked as she looked her Sensei.

"It's the Kekkei Genkai or bloodline treat of the Hyuuga," Asuma answered. "A visual jutsu like Sasuke's Sharingan. In fact, many believe and say that the Uchiha's Sharingan were derived from the Byakugan sometime long ago. But, for shire power of in sight, the Byakugan is the stronger of the two."

...My Line...

Hinata could only stare in horror.

"BYAKUGAN!"

The Hyuuga Heiress stared at him for a moment before looking up to the left hand corner and then looked to the lower right hand corner while shaking. She then placed a hand in front of her mouth as the blunette continued to look away from him.

...My Line...

'Hinata,' the Miran thought sadly.

...My Line...

"My eyes cannot deceived," Neji finally spoke up again. "Just one moment ago in the slightest of movements, your gaze moved to the upper left corner of the room." Her eyes widen in surprise. "I saw at that moment you were thinking of your past. Your bitter past. And then almost immediately after, your gaze drifted to the lower right, it was a mere flicker of the eyes, but to me it revealed all of your mental and physical suffering. You are seeing your old self and wondering if your life has prepared you for this moment. Your picturing the outcome of the battle, you see yourself losing."

At that Hinata let out a gasp.

...My Line...

The blonde clinched his fist with a slight growl.

...My Line...

"And the way that you are holding your arms in front of your body like that," Neji stated. "It tells me that you are trying to put a wall between us. To keep me at bay. You want to keep me from reading the deepest recesses of your mind. And why? Because everything that I have said is true. Shill I go on?"

...My Line...

Raika glanced at the Senju Heir as the growl he was letting out got a bit louder.

...My Line...

"That familiar gesture of putting your finger to your lips," Neji added. "I know that it is a desperate admit to hide your raising panic. Made all the more desperate because you know it's futile. It's all futile Hinata. You are what you are. Wither you admit it or not. You already know."

...My Line...

"THAT DOES IT!" Naruto yelled.

...My Line...

Both Hinata and Neji looked up at the blonde.

...My Line...

"WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO TELL HER, WHO SHE CAN AND CAN'T BE?" the blonde asked. "COME ON, HINATA! SHOW THIS GUY, HE'S WRONG!"

...My Line...

'Naruto?'

...My Line...

The other Konoha Genin all looked at the Senju Heir in surprise.

...My Line...

"HINATA! ARE YOU JUST GOING TO STAND THERE AND TAKE THAT?! YOUR DRIVING ME CRAZY!"

...My Line...

Hinata looked down at that.

'Your right,' she thought.

'You annoying little pest,' thought Neji as he turned back to his cousin.

'Your right, Naruto,' thought the Hyuuga Heiress. 'Thank you.'

'The look in her eyes have changed,' the male Hyuuga thought. "If you don't forfeit the match, you know what will happen."

'I won't run away,' Hinata thought as she ran through hand signs.

...My Line...

"Don't underestimate me! I don't quite..."

...My Line...

'Never again,' the female Hyuuga thought.

...My Line...

"No way, I never go back on my word. That is the way of the Ninja."

...My Line...

'No more hiding,' Hinata thought. "Byakugan!"

...My Line...

Naruto was surprised while the others, who were close the young Heiress was pleased.

...My Line...

"Defend your self, my brother,' Hinata told him as she stood in the being stance of the Gentle Fist.

...My Line...

'That is...'

...My Line...

Neji also got into the opening stance of the Gentle Fist with his own Byakugan.

"Very well then."

...My Line...

"Of course, it is the Hyuuga style," Lee said making Naruto, Raika, and Ino to look at him. "That is why their poses are the same."

"The Hyuuga Style?" Ino asked.

"It is the most effect type of Taijutsu found in our village," Rock Lee answered. "I have said it before. I have on my team a man, who is the strongest Genin to come out of Konohagakure. That man. Neji Hyuuga."

...My Line...

The two cousins shot at each other before they started to tried blows and dodge the strikes, however, Hinata noticed an opening part way through the match.

'Now!' she yelled as she moved to land a hit.

Her hand gazed Neji's side as he moved back away from her.

...My Line...

"Did she get him?" Ino asked.

"No way! She hardly touched him!"

"Even so, a glancing blow is enough," Lee stated. "That's what makes the Hyuuga Clan such formidable fighters."

"What are you talking?" Ino asked. "How does a glancing blow factor into the Hyuugas being formidable fighters?"

"Their Taijutsu is a unique one," Gai answered. "That's been passed down for generation. It's not the kind of Taijutsu that Lee and I employ. We tend to concentrate on inflicting external damage. We use crushing blows to raise contusions and break limbs. Pounding our enemy. The Hyuuga way is to attack their opponents internal organs and the chakra network through which the chakra flows. Their way is more...settle. Perhaps not as thrilling to watch, but it gradually takes effect with devastating results."

"You see, you can't build up your internal organs no matter how hard you train," Kakashi added. "Even the toughest ninjas voluble to this kind of attack."

...My Line...

After a while of circling each other, the two cousins went at each other again.

'I can do this,' Hinata thought as she went to hit Neji's shoulder.

...My Line...

'She's giving him all he can handle,' Shino thought in surprise.

'Hinata.'

...My Line...

"HINATA!" Naruto cheered. "WAY TO GO!"

"They attack the chakra network?" Ino asked in surprise. "These people are amazing."

"Yeah, you can say that again," the male blonde agreed with her.

"Don't tell me?" the Yamanaka asked. "You don't know what the chakra network is?"

Raika giggled at that.

"Here let me explain it," Lee spoke up. "It is the complex system of circulatory canal throughout the body. Similar to a person vaxatory system, the veins and arteries that carry blood."

"I kinda of get," Naruto said. "Only these veins carry chakra not blood. But, talks about medical stuff is more up Rai-chan's alley and not mine."

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" the Miran yelled at him.

"Eh, basically," Lee agreed as the two of them ignored the greenette, who fumed. "Furthermore, the chakra network is so closely interwoven with all of the vital internal organs that they are virtually one and the same. Therefor, when the network is attacked these organs suffer damage as well."

"Not bad Lee," the green hair Genin told him with a smile. "At least, some one understands the medical side of things."

The green wearing Genin looked surprised before he had to look as his face turned red.

'YES!' he mentally cheered. 'Raika praised me!'

Naruto looked back and forth between the older Genin and his honorary sister before he yanked the hidden Senju Princess away.

"Nope," he said. "So, not happening."

Raika sweatdropped while Lee turned back to the fight as he clenched his fists.

...My Line...

'Ah, it's no wonder he's all worked up,' Gai thought. 'He's watching his oldest competitor and rival, Neji.'

"Hold on," Naruto said as he looked over to the two Jonins. "How do they know where to strike their opponent, Sensei?" Kakashi looked at the blonde. "I mean, from what I know by listening to Raika...is that the chakra network is invisible to the eye, right? How can they land their blows?"

"You are forgetting their Byakugan," the Hatake answered. "There a few things invisible to those eyes. What's more, when the strike a blow it's a literal difference from a normal attack. A small intense burst of their chakra is release from their hand it drills into the opponents body directly attacking his chakra network."

Hinata and Neji moved to hit each other causing a burst of chakra.

"YEAH! GET HIM!"

'Did she get him?' Shino thought in question.

Suiren Uzumaki: To danj09290 from the last chapter: That's not a bad idea, but you also have to take into account that the Council of Sunagakure is also on board, so they can order Baki to still go through with it even if it is a losing battle. I also like that idea...in fact, I think having Genma say Senju in place of Miran when he calls her and her opponent down for their match which would have the coward in an up roar over there being two Senjus that was kept hidden. You remember that suggestion that you made in your review back in Chapter 22? The one about Obito aka Tobi aka Madara aka the idiot in a lollipop mask kidnapping Raika only for them to end up fighting. I was actually thinking about that, but thought of adding a different twist to you idea. Do you remember that scene where Obito as the Ten-Tails Jinchuuriki summoned a tree that he was going to use to unleash four Tail Beast Bombs on the Allied Shinobi Forces?

P.S. Sorry that this took so long to get out everyone. However, I just can't stand this version of Neji and every time he talks down...more like insults...to Hinata, I feel the need to yell and destroy something. So, I focus on something else until I have cooled down and turn back to the story. Again I am so sorry that it took so long for the chapter. Ja ne.
