"Marinette, we should be heading back soon," Tikki said, watching as the sun sank further down on the horizon.

Marinette had cured her Halloween fashion block, but moving her workshop to the great outdoors, aka the woods. She was working a witch's costumes, complete with striped tights. The costume was nearly ready, and Marinette couldn't wait to wear it out trick-or-treating.

"Relax, Tikki, we have plenty of time. I'm going to do a quick fitting in the changing room, and we can fly back on my broom," she joked.

Tikki sighed, settling down in the crackling leaves. It was a beautiful autumn day after all, with the leaves floating down catching the last rays of yellow sunlight until they landed on the carpet below.

"Tikki, Tikki!" Marinette called, and Nikki zoomed over, for Marinette sounded distressed. "What is it?" her Kwami asked. Marinette tried to move forward to get out of the bushes, but to no avail.

"I'm stuck!" "Of course this would happen to you. Here, try this…" Her Kwami gave her instructions, but Marinette was well and truly stuck. "How embarrassing. Guess I'll have to call the calvery. Can you reach my phone?" Nikki's eyes shone with mischief as she did so. "You mean, Cat Noir?"

Marinette ignored her, typing out a message to her best friend. Not to much later, a familiar voice called out.

"Never fear, for Cat Noir is here!" Marinette blushed as she looked up to see her best friend and partner. "Can you get me out, Cat? I'm stuck!" Cat wandered around the hedge for a moment. "What are you doing in there in the first place?"

Marinette sighed. "Look, I got art block last week for my costume and I was inspired by the woods. I put on my costume over my clothes, tried to go through the bush, and here I am!"

"Don't worry, Princess, I'm happy to help a Damsel in distress!" He took her hand, and begin to tug. "More like a witch in distress. Ouch!" "Nearly….gotcha!"

Marinette squeaked as she fell forward, taking Cat with her. "Sorry, sorry," she said, sitting up and checking her hair for leaves. Cat's eyes suddenly glowed, rubbing against her, purring loudly. "Cat?"

"Oh, Princess, you've bewitched me for your costume smells of catnip!" Cat cuddled up, licking her cheek.

"Off, you big suck!" she laughed, and Cat continued to purr. She stood up, cleaned herself up and took a step towards home. Cat followed.

"I didn't ask for a escort, Kitty," she giggled. "Can't I be your Familiar until we get home?" Marinette raised a eyebrow, hiding a smile. "Before or after dinner? Come on, its macaroni and cheese night. Be a good black cat."

So, Witch and Familiar headed home, Cat trotted alongside like an obedient kitten, and bewitched by the smell of catnip.
