"Sir it appears that Langara is currently controlled by one single government. An Administrator Halperin seems to be in charge," spoke Riley.

"Sir we are picking up a tracker, on the surface," spoke up Marks.

"A tracker? Who's?" asked O'Neill.

"Quinn, Jonas," answered Marks.

"Where?" asked O'Neill.

"It appears to be a hospital," replied Marks.

"He is supposed to be dead. Maybe he pulled a Daniel Jackson," replied O'Neill.

"I need to learn that trick," replied Riley.

"It's not as easy as it sounds," replied O'Neill, "Now get me Administrator Halperin on the communication."

A couple of moments later an elderly dressed man appears on the viewscreen.

"Administrator Halperin," spoke O'Neill.

"General O'Neill, we have not heard from you in a while," spoke Halperin.

"Actually it's Supreme Commander of the Atlantis Alliance, now," replied O'Neill, "That's a long story, I'd like to share."

"We would be honored to meet with you," replied Halperin.

"Before I beam down I would like to ask has anything been found on our friend Jonas Quinn?" asked O'Neill.

"I'm afraid not. It was a great loss to Langara with his death. The Ori were not kind in their occupation," replied Halperin.

"What if we told you we think he is alive?" asked O'Neill.

"That would be the most wonderful news. But how is that possible?" asked Halperin.

"We've detected what we think is him on the surface in what appears to be a hospital," replied O'Neill.

"Once you arrive we will go their immediately to check on this!" an excited Halperin.

"How about I show you a few new tricks we have?" asked O'Neill.

"I don't understand," replied Halperin.

"Beam the Administrator, Odai, and Captain Johansen to that location," ordered O'Neill.

A few seconds later O'Neill was standing outside of a building with Johansen, Odai and Halperin. A search through the building using a scanner, found the locator on the third floor. The fifth patient in the ward was unconscious and severely burned. The doctors reported the patients' identity was unknown and that he had never regained consciousness.

"Captain, can you do anything for him?" asked O'Neill.

Johansen reviewing the patient, "Yes sir, a few hours in the medical bay I could have him as good as new. The same goes for most of these patients here."

"That's impossible! We've done everything possible for them," exclaimed Dr. Qalpax.

"We have some new techniques, that have only become available in the last year. Administrator Halperin would you like us to help these people?" asked O'Neill.

"You can really help them?" asked Halperin.

"Yes we can," replied Johansen.

Qalpax asked, "I would like to oversee it."

"This patient first, if he is Jonas Quinn we need him back," replied Halperin, "Dr. Qalpax if your satisfied then rest of these patients."

"Captain take him back to the ship and get Jonas patched up," ordered O'Neill.

Johansen, Qalpax and Jonas Quinn were beamed back to the ship. O'Neill, Odai, and Halperin were beamed back to the capital. Where security was going nuts on where the Administrator had disappeared to. Halperin calmed everyone down. Gardner joined them as they began their talks. O'Neill and Gardner have much explaining to do on the Alliance, and how things had changed. The new technologies and the new threats in the galaxy. The talks went on for most of the afternoon.

On the Enterprise, Johansen placed Quinn in a medical bay. Johansen explained to Qalpax how he would be placed into stasis, then nanites would work on repairing cellular damage. The process would take several hours given the extent of damage to his body. Qalpax, watched in amazement as he could see Quinn's skin being repaired, appearing like new. He had many questions about how it all worked. Johansen did her best and finally called Eli and Jinn in to help answer some of the more technical questions on nanites. After four hours all external damage was repaired, and they were watching the brain monitor as the nanites repaired his brain and was reducing the swelling.

"So what all can this machine cure?" asked Qalpax.

"Well it can heal wounds and regenerate tissues. It can also remove toxins, and other foreign substances from the body. A number of diseases it can eradicate completely. Some diseases it can repair the damage the disease causes but not remove the disease. I have ALS, and it's not able to remove it, but it's able to restore my body to state that removes the effects of the disease. It restores my muscles as if I didn't have the disease," replied Johansen.

"That is amazing. This could save so many lives," replied Qalpax.

"The Asgard created them and they have already saved countless lives," spoke Johansen.

Qalpax looked around, "Wonder if there is any chance we could get this technology?"

"I believe that is what Commander O'Neill is intending," replied Johansen.

It took an additional two hours to repair his brain. They finally revived Quinn, who looked around confused at his surroundings.

"Where am I?" asked Quinn.

"You're onboard the Atlantis Alliance ship the Enterprise," spoke Johansen.

Dr. Qalpax spoke up, "I'm Dr. Qalpax I've been treating you for the last two years since the Ori attack. Your friends from Earth here arrived today with new medical equipment and was able to fix you right up!"

"Earth? Enterprise? Sam? Jack?" asked Quinn.

"Good I see your memory is intact," replied Johansen.

"Stay still you need to rest," spoke Dr. Qalpax.

"Actually he's good to get up," spoke Johansen.

"I've got a lot to catch up on," replied Quinn.

Dr. Johansen contacted O'Neill, Quinn would beam down to meet with him and Halperin. Dr. Qalpax was excited to get started on the rest of the patients in the ward. As Johansen learned one of them was his wife. Johansen called in additional staff and quickly they had ninety-seven patients undergoing treatment.

Halperin, invited everyone for a state dinner to properly welcome their friends to Langara. O'Neill and Halperin explained all that had transpired since the Ori attack with Quinn who was taking it all in as quickly as he could. He was amazed to learn there was a single government now. He was amazed to learn everything going on with Earth.

It did not take the Langara Council more than two hours to agree to join the Atlantis Alliance. A formal agreement would be put into place, O'Neill immediately called for certain new technologies to be brought through to Langara. Medical bays were being installed immediately, while a group of one hundred Langaran doctors went to Altera to be trained in how to use them. O'Neill had learned that over five thousand Langaran's were in a state similar to Jonas Quinn.

Two DN-1103's were placed in orbit for defense. Before long the Naquadria was being mined with the new mining drones. O'Neill finally had a chance to sit privately with Quinn.

"Well I'm glad we put that tracking beacon on you," replied O'Neill.

"To think I was having it removed in a week when that attack happened," replied Quinn.

"Thankfully you didn't," replied O'Neill.

"Colonel, I mean Commander, this ship is amazing," spoke Quinn.

"It's the flagship of the alliance," replied O'Neill.

Quinn asked, "Do you all still need naquadria?"

"Yes, and no, we use it in certain types of weapons where we need a very large bang for our money. I'd like to tell you that our need is going down, but instead it's increasing," answered O'Neill.

"But for shields?" asked Quinn.

"We have found a better power supply for shields, hyperspace engines, and the wormhole drive," replied O'Neill.

"Where is SG-1?" asked Quinn.

"Well, Daniel Jackson is out on a ship on the other side the universe, with his wife Vala. That's a long story on its own. Teal'c is back in Altera training recruits. Carter is back in Altera on bedrest," replied O'Neill.

"Is Sam alright?" asked Quinn.

"She is with child, and the doctors are taking no chances with her," replied O'Neill grinning.

"Wait Sam and Pete having a kid?" asked Quinn.

"Pete? Are you serious? Carter and I are married!" shouted O'Neill.

"You two finally got together?" asked Quinn.

"Yes we did, we've been married over little over a year and a half," replied O'Neill.

"Daniel is married now. I bet Teal'c hasn't changed any," replied Quinn.

"Well he's a lot older than you remember," spoke O'Neill.

"Huh?" asked Quinn.

"Fifty years in a time dilation field," replied O'Neill.

"What happened?" asked Quinn.

"Another long story and he won't share much," replied O'Neill.

Quinn contemplating, "So how did you defeat the Ori?"

"Essentially we told them the truth, but that's a long story as well," explained O'Neill.

"And now they are part of this alliance?" asked Quinn.

"The Ori? No, the people from the Ori galaxy that used to follow the Ori, yes," answered O'Neill.

Sarah Gardner entered the room, "Do you have him completely confused yet?"

"Completely," replied Quinn.

"There is a lot that has transpired quickly," answered Gardner.

Ventrell walked in, "A lot? That's an understatement if I have heard one."

"Do I know you? You look familiar," asked Quinn.

"Nirrti had a bounty on your head I tried to collect. I was never able to get you in one of my traps," replied Ventrell.

"And now he is in charge of security for your ship?" asked Quinn.

"Yes he is," replied O'Neill.

"Let me see if I get this right. You defeated the Ori by telling the truth, and now their followers are part of your Alliance. Teal'c was in a time dilation field for fifty years. A Goa'uld bounty hunter is in charge of your security. You and Sam are now married and expecting a child," replied Quinn, "Did I miss anything?"

"You haven't told him about Atlantis returning from the Pegasus Galaxy, or the war with the Wraith. Who by the way suck your life out of you with their hand. Or the return of the Ancients? " asked Gardner.

"You at least told him about the Asgard committing suicide, and the war with the ascended Old Ones?" asked Ventrell.

Quinn could only look at O'Neill, "Seriously?"

"And I hadn't gotten to Loki saving Thor from the suicide, and the return of the Asgard through the Vanir. Or anything about the signal in the background radiation of the universe. Oh and it's triplets," replied O'Neill.

"Triplets? Congratulations Commander!" shouted Gardner.

"I'm sorry Commander," grimaced Ventrell.

Quinn was lost, there was too much to understand and comprehend. The Enterprise stayed in orbit for close to two weeks. In that time a new facility was constructed similar to the one on Remoc to house the gate and quarters. Alliance personnel would be operating the gateroom. The Langaran's were amazed at how fast the building was constructed by the nanites. Altera was working overtime as many scientists were wanting to come immediately and begin learning everything they could. O'Neill worked with Halperin first thing was getting medical training. The second was agriculture, to establish food for everyone, on Langara. Finally, training in other sciences.

Quinn had been offered and expected to take the role of Langaran Administrator, however, he refused. In the end, due to his knowledge of the other races in the alliance, he agreed to become the ambassador to Altera for the Langaran's. Gardner spent an entire week going over the events of the past two years and helping Quinn to catch up on things.

Finally, in the end, things had begun to calm down. Those in Altera would complete the transition of Langara into the Alliance. O'Neill walked on to the bridge of the Enterprise, with Gardner and Ventrell behind him.

"Riley take us to Hebridan," ordered O'Neill.

"Yes Sir," replied Riley.

Marks noticed a grin between Gardner and Ventrell. He wondered how long they could keep things a secret. He would have to send message to Harriman with this nugget.

Quinn finally got himself free to actually visit Altera. Stepping through the gate he was greeted with a familiar face of Walter Harriman. Who immediately contacted Teal'c that his old friend had arrived. Harriman gave him a tour around the gateroom.

"Jonas Quinn it is good to see you live and well," greet Teal'c upon arriving.

"Teal'c it is good to see you!" replied Quinn, "Things have changed since the last time I visited Earth."

"Indeed!" replied Teal'c.

Teal'c gave Quinn a tour of Altera, explaining how the greater city contained the seven city ships. Taking him around to see the agriculture areas, and the recruit training facilities. Teal'c took him last to see Alec Colson at the Disbursement Center.

"Jonas Quinn I heard you would be stopping by!" greeted Colson.

"Jonas here is the Ambassador for the Langarans," spoke Teal'c.

"Yes they are quiet excited to learn everything we have here," replied Colson.

"We have been very excited to learn some of the new advancements that you have here," replied Quinn.

"Well your scientist are doing you proud. Only here a few days and reports I'm getting they are advancing well," replied Colson.

"Jonas Quinn I take my leave of you now. Alec Colson if you would take him to Commander Carter when you are done speaking to him," replied Teal'c.

"Certainly!" replied Colson.

Colson and Quinn spent the next couple of hours discussing the plan to roll out new technologies to the Langarans. Colson explained the various tracks that had been made available, and what each covered, from wormhole physics, to engine design. Quinn was eager to hear all about the variety of courses. Commander Voronkova stopped by and covered the advances in agriculture with Quinn. These advances would have his people with a surplus of food within a year. Something they had not had before. Even learning that some of their own food crops were being integrated into the program, as they were always on the lookout for new types of food crops.

"Let me take you to see Samantha," spoke Colson.

"Thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing her!" replied Quinn.

Quinn knocked on Carter's door, "Come in!"

"Jonas! It's so good to see you!" cried Carter with tears rolling down her face.

"Sam no need to cry," replied Quinn.

Blowing her nose, "It's these hormones! I'm so happy your alive! We all thought you were dead!"

"Triplets?" asked Quinn.

"Yes!" replied Carter patting her belly.

"I'm glad you and Jack finally got together. I hope Teal'c doesn't remember that bet," replied Quinn.

"What bet?" asked Carter.

"Well, uhh, hmm. I said you two wouldn't get together on account of the military regulations," replied Quinn.

"Ahh, well we threw them out the door when we got in a position to do that," replied Carter.

The two of them spent till the late hours of the night discussing everything that had changed. Quinn was excited to hear about everything. Carter showed him pictures of the wedding, and Daniel's wedding. They got into discussing the Inter-dimensional Energy Collectors and how they worked. He was looking forward to meeting Dr. Miller, and discussing it further with her. Carter finally drifted off to sleep. Jonas covered her with a blanket nearby and let himself out. Walter in the gateroom show him to quarters he had arranged for Quinn to have.

Quinn was at lost at all the technology. He had quarters in the main tower, with a balcony, several floors down from the Alliance council and commanders, but it still had a breathtaking view. He wondered when he would get a chance to see Daniel. He still felt he owed Daniel much for his life.
