In the serene tranquility of the pre-dawn hours, Kitty's peaceful slumber was rudely shattered by a sudden wave of illness. Disoriented and overwhelmed, she hurriedly made her way to the bathroom. The distressing sounds of her retching startled Cassie, who was immediately jolted awake and sprung into action, rushing to her side to provide comfort and support.
As Kitty struggled through her ordeal, Cassie stood by her, offering soothing words and tender gestures to ease her distress. Once the worst had passed, Cassie meticulously attended to Kitty, cleaning up the aftermath and assisting her to freshen up before settling her back into bed, making sure she was as comfortable as possible.
After tucking Kitty in, Cassie planted a loving kiss on her forehead and encouraged her to rest. Demonstrating her protective instincts, she left the door slightly ajar before returning to her own room, ready to listen for any signs of Kitty needing assistance.
When Shelby woke up and inquired about the night's events, Cassie explained the situation and expressed her intent to stay home with Kitty. Despite Shelby's offer to take over, Cassie was resolute in her decision to remain by Kitty's side, postponing her own plans to prioritize her child's care.

After Cassie and Shelby finished their conversation in the living room, they quietly made their way to each girl's bedroom, checking in on them one by one. Finally, they arrived at Kitty's bedroom. Shelby, concerned about Kitty's well-being, gently leaned over to feel her forehead. Just as she did, Kitty stirred and softly expressed that she was feeling a bit unwell.
Shelby reassured her and offered to get some Tylenol and water to help her feel better. Kitty nodded weakly, allowing Shelby to go out and retrieve the pills and water. She passed the medication and water to Kitty, who took it gratefully. Cassie, wanting to provide comfort, sat next to her while Shelby was away.
As Shelby left to take care of Kitty, Cassie stayed in the room, offering her support. "Try to get some sleep. I'll be right here," Cassie told Shelby. "I will try, but I'm not going to promise you that I can while my child is sick," Shelby responded, expressing her concern for her daughter. Shelby kissed Kitty and then left the room, sitting down on her bed and eventually lying down as she worried about their child's illness.
Shelby woke up to the sound of her alarm at 6 am. She quickly got out of bed, took a refreshing shower, and then put on her clothes. As she was getting ready, she heard Kitty throwing up and could hear Cassie's voice comforting her. Shelby then headed downstairs to put a pot of coffee on. After that, she sat down to write the grocery shopping list for the week.
Then she took time for herself until Rachel came downstairs worrying about Kitty in Shelby reassured Rachel that Kitty will alright in a day or two and Cassie is going to stay at home with her but I'm going to come earlier them I expected to lend in a helping hand. Then go to the grocery store.
Shelby start focusing on cooking breakfast for her family when Santana and Quinn came downstairs ready for school asking about Kitty and she told them that there sister is sick and they said they hope she feel better and they ate breakfast then Shelby drop Santana and Quinn off to school first then took Rachel to school in she drove back to Carmel High before school starts to teach her lesson, but her mind went back to Kitty who at home sick with her wife.
During Shelby break she call Cassie to check up on Kitty. In Cassie told her she gave her something light to eat but she throw it up then she gave her crackers now she's sounds asleep after taking medicine.

Yes I check it before I gave her the soup in it wasn't bad Cassie said on the phone.
Ok I've to get back to work and give our daughter a kiss for me Shelby says before hanging up then her students came in the classroom.
After school ended Shelby took Quinn Santana and Rachel to the grocery store and pick up the items they needed. Then she let them pick out anything they like and paid for everything then headed home and everyone pinched in and put away the groceries then Shelby cook dinner early which she cook homemade soap while she watch her daughters doing their homework together then she check in on Kitty and Cassie which she found both of them sound asleep.
Then she headed back downstairs in heard Quinn and Santana arguing about Quinn wanted to use Santana cellphone and she refuses to let her use it then Shelby reminded Quinn that she's still grounded for what happened yesterday in Quinn compain then Shelby corrected her behavior and Quinn was still being stubborn in went to her bedroom angrily and Shelby turn to San on tell her Quinn will calm down and the both of them will be good friends and sisters. Then she let them watch a little TV before turning it off and she call Quinn downstairs and they ate dinner and she took Cassie and Kitty their dinner which the girls cleaning up. After a long day Rachel and Santana is trying to finish playing the puzzle they have been working on for the past two days then it was time to go to sleep.
