What has Surge gotten herself into?
She trusts that Tails kid with Kit. They're similar. Way too similar in a way. That doesn't matter. She focused on two others, Amy and Blaze. Apparently they were actually friends with Tails, so they were watching their friends' humiliation. Which Surge finds hilarious. Surge also figured out that they are in a relationship together. She totally wasn't stalking them. She was only watching them while Kit was hanging out with his girlfriend. Which was a lot but Surge swear it isn't for that long and she is only keeping tabs on them.
She swears.
Blaze sees Surge often, watching them. She suspects it's for her brother. As someone with a younger sibling she can respect that. Nobody else seems to notice her though. So at least right now she doesn't care. Surge seems to eye her and Amy a lot. Blaze doesn't know what that's about, so she goes along. Ignoring the views from Surge and goes back to her usual ways.
"Marine, I am telling you!"
"Silver! Shut up about this already!"
"The government is obviously trying to control the water supply. The fact that you can see it is stupid!"
"Silver… I SWEAR TO-"
Normal and usual.
Kit had informally joined their little group. He talks about how he misses his sister though. Even though she's standing there. Blaze can't blame him though, nobody else besides her sees Surge leaking out of the corner. He doesn't talk that much about it though. Kit does mention her at least on time during the day though. Not too much but still enough to notice.
Tails and Kit do enjoy each other. Marine and Cream are happy that Tails found someone. Suggesting even a double date. Blaze hopes that they don't drag her and Amy into it. Probably because Amy will say yes and Blaze will have to go then. Which she really doesn't want to do. Don't get her wrong. She likes all four of them, but she definitely doesn't want to do a triple date. Double dates are already too big. At that point it's a party where everyone is in a relationship.
"Are they actually controlling the water?" Kit asks Silver.
"No Kit, they aren't, Silver is just crazy." Tails comforts the fennec.
"Oh than goodness, I like water."
"They are controlling the water! Open your eyes!" Silver says like an insane person
"Silver I am going to beat the absolute-" Marine starts to say
"Silver, can you just shut up please?" Blaze begs the other.
"I will not be silenced!" Silver basically yells, way too loud
A person approaches them, it's obviously a person from the faculty.
"Kid, you're going to have to come with me." The adult says.
"I will not bend to your will!" Silver books it to wherever
"Hey get back here!" The faculty member chases after them. The rest of the group remains silent for a bit.
"At least he can say anything weird to us now" Marine says, the rest of the group agrees. Kit is still worried about the water.
Silver isn't at school the next day. Which isn't surprising. What is surprising is that Tails isn't at school the next day. Blaze thinks Kit will go back to hanging out with his sister for the day. That doesn't appear to be the case. As Kit is still there, in the same place as yesterday. Only missing Tails sitting next to him.
"Wouldn't you rather hang out with your sister?" Marine bluntly asks
"She says I should hang out with you guys, something about making friends and such. She didn't go that deep into it."
Blaze looks over and sees Surge. She gives Surge a thumbs up. Surge blushes a bright red and disappears. Weird. She turns back to Kit and the others.
"So what do you like to do Kit?" Cream asks.
"Engineering."
"Really?" Marine says pushing Cream out of the way. Then proceeds to go in depth about something engineering related. Which Kit engages in well.
"Well he fits in" Amy says
"I think Tails has a type." Blaze says
"And you don't?"
"Well you already know mine."
"That would be?"
"Cute, Pink Hedgehogs."
"Aw!"
"Um, guys?" Knuckles says, right next to them
"Right, sorry Knuckles." Amy says and clear her throat, while Blaze faces away from the embarrassment.
All while Marine is ranting to Kit about more engineering stuff. Cream is jealous, even if Marine only likes girls, like her. She can't help but feel jealous at all the attention Kit is getting. Of course Blaze is looking around. Avoiding the embarrassing situation her and Amy put themselves in. She notices Cream's extremely obvious jealousy and also Kit's nervousness with Cream's jealousy and Marine oblivious to the emotions around her.
look* Blaze whispers to her girlfriend but also to Knuckles who look at the scene unfolding them. All three of them try to hold laughs back. It's not like they can help. Kit on the hand is nervous as he sees Cream looking extremely jealous. He looks around and sees Surge, and escape!
"Oh hey Surge!" He says and everyone looks at Surge. Who immediately runs away from the situation.
"…Was Surge watching us?" Amy asks
"She's been doing that." Blaze comments nonchalantly.
Everyone, even Kit looks at Blaze suprised. Blaze doesn't notice until she turns back around to the group.
"What?" Cream asks.
"She's been watching us."
"Were you going to tell us?" Amy asks
"I thought all of you noticed, she isn't exactly subtle about it. I mean Kit noticed her and he doesn't usually look that way."
"How long has she been doing that?" Marine asks Blaze
"At least a couple days. Probably when Kit started hanging out here."
"Aw, she's so nice!" Kit says, smiling.
The rest of the group looks at Kit. Then back to Blaze. Then back to Kit. Then back to Blaze. Then they leave it be. Everyone goes back to normal. Cream is too confused to be jealous and Marine has free range to talk about the stuff that she wants without Kit getting so nervous his eyes drat around. She wonder why he did that in the first place. Amy looks at her girlfriend very concerned as to why she thinks someone watching them is normal and Knuckles is confused about everything and knows he probably won't get the answers so he pretends that it's all good and nothing out of the ordinary happened.
