Marvel: From the Void and Back Again, Part 2

Chapter 11: The Creative Process, and The Symbiotic Universe

Peter-Knull lounged comfortably in the Avengers Tower's media room, surrounded by a small mountain of manga volumes and anime DVDs. The once-intimidating figure of the Knull variant was engrossed in his task, flipping through pages and pausing occasionally to jot down notes on a digital pad. The room was filled with the soft hum of the television, playing a popular shonen anime series, while Peter-Knull's eyes darted back and forth between the screen and the various media strewn around him.

As Dazzler, Jubilee, Laura, and Domino walked by the open doorway, they caught sight of Peter-Knull's unexpected activity. Curious, they exchanged glances before stepping into the room.

Jubilee was the first to speak, her voice filled with genuine curiosity. "Peter, what exactly are you doing?"

Peter-Knull looked up from his work, and he rolled that around in his head before responding pausing the media. "I'm working," he replied simply, his tone matter-of-fact. "Deciding which symbiotic cities in the anime-based worlds in my symbiote universe will be based around next."

Dazzler raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Anime-based worlds? In your symbiote universe?"

Peter-Knull nodded, setting down the manga volume he was holding. "Yes. I've been using popular anime and manga as reference material to create new symbiotes and their corresponding cities. Each city has its own unique culture, influenced by the series that inspired it."

Laura folded her arms, a slight smirk on her face. "I have to admit, I didn't expect a Knull variant to be into anime and manga."

Peter-Knull chuckled softly. "It's definitely a way to add some flavor to my universe. storytelling. Plus, it gives me ideas for the various symbiotes and their societies."

Domino, leaning against the wall, couldn't hide her curiosity. "So, what kind of worlds are you planning to create?"

Peter-Knull's eyes lit up with enthusiasm. "Well, for one, I'm working on a city inspired by a world similar to an isekai video-game anime. The nation is called 'Elusia,' a land where magic and technology coexist in harmony. It's a place where adventurers and scholars come together, exploring dungeons and unraveling ancient mysteries."

Jubilee's eyes widened with interest. "Elusia, huh? Sounds like something straight out of a fantasy RPG. Can we see one of the diplomats from this place?"

Peter-Knull tilted his head, considering the request. "Of course. I've been planning to introduce them to S.H.I.E.L.D. as part of an exchange program. Let me show you."

Peter-Knull nodded, a playful smile on his face. He manipulated his symbiotic material, and from it, a figure stepped forth. The diplomat had large, expressive blue eyes, blonde hair with cartoonish bunny ears, and delicate bat wings adorned with small, flame-like tufts of symbiotic material at the tips. She wore an elaborate robe that looked like something out of a magical fantasy world, complete with intricate designs and a mystical staff.

"Meet Lyria, the diplomat from Elusia," Peter-Knull introduced. Lyria's eyes sparkled with excitement, and she gave a small bow. "Knull-sama," she said with reverence, her voice filled with fan-girl enthusiasm, "it's an honor to be introduced to your esteemed friends!"

They could only stare for a long moment, taken aback by the diplomat's whimsical and fan-girl-like demeanor. The sheer contrast between her bubbly personality and the formidable nature of Peter-Knull was striking.

Jubilee chuckled, shaking her head. "Wow, this is... interesting?" She's adorable and... kind of intense?"

Dazzler nodded in agreement, still processing the sight before her. "Yeah, I didn't expect to meet a fan-girl diplomat today."

Laura smirked, folding her arms. "This is definitely a new side of the symbiote universe I didn't see coming."

Peter-Knull watched their reactions with amusement, clearly pleased with the unique character he'd created. "Elusia is full of surprises. Lyria here is just one example of the many unique personalities you'll find in that world."

Lyria, still beaming with enthusiasm, fluttered her wings slightly. "I can't wait to show you all the wonders of Elusia! Knull-sama has crafted a truly magical place, and I am honored to represent it."

The gem on the diplomat's staff suddenly animated, a cute little face appearing on its surface. In a squeaky, enthusiastic voice, it exclaimed, "And wait till he tells you how he made our wonderful world and over 8000 years of history since this morning! He's a true master at his craft!"

Their jaws dropped in unison, eyes widening with disbelief. Dazzler, who was usually unflappable, blinked rapidly, trying to comprehend the enormity of what she had just heard. "Did... did that gem just say 8000 years of history since this morning?" she stammered.

Jubilee's mouth hung open, her hands on her hips. "You're kidding, right? That's insane! Even for a Knull variant, that's beyond impressive!"

Laura, ever the pragmatist, folded her arms and narrowed her eyes at Peter-Knull. "So, you're telling me you created an entire world, complete with its own history and societies, in just a few hours? How is that even possible?"

Domino, leaning casually against the wall, couldn't hide her amazement. "I knew you were powerful, but this is on a whole other level. Seriously, 8000 years of history in a morning? That's... wow."

Peter-Knull chuckled softly, a hint of pride in his eyes. "It's all about the creative process and having the right inspiration. Anime and manga provide that, not to mention there's a lot going on up here." He said tapping his head, "With the fact that my mind is like a hive mind, where all the symbiotes also submit ideas when they make requests." it's easy to draw from them. Elusia is just one of many worlds I've created, each with its own unique culture and history."

The diplomat nodded eagerly, her big eyes sparkling with admiration. "Knull-Sama's creativity knows no bounds. Elusia is a testament to his genius, a place where adventurers and scholars thrive, exploring dungeons and uncovering ancient secrets. And it's all thanks to his incredible vision."

The gem on the staff chimed in again, "And the best part is, the world keeps evolving! New stories, new heroes, and new adventures every day!"

Laura shook her head in disbelief, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Well, I have to hand it to you, Peter. You've outdone yourself. Creating a world like that... it's enough to fry anyone's brain."

Dazzler, still awestruck, nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I mean, I've seen a lot of crazy things, but this? This is something special."

Jubilee's excitement was overwhelming as she looked back at the diplomat. "I can't wait to see more of Elusia. If it's anything like what you've described, it's going to be amazing."

Peter-Knull merely shrugged as he got back to work, clearly pleased with their response. "I'm glad you think so. There's so much more to explore and discover. And who knows, maybe one day, you might even visit Elusia yourselves."

Domino raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the idea. "That would be something. An anime-inspired world created by a Knull variant. Count me in."

Peter-Knull walked into Nick Fury's office, a confident smile on his face. "So, what do you think of my diplomats?" he asked, gesturing to the eight symbiotic representatives standing before them. Each one stepped forward and introduced themselves with a slight bow as Peter-Knull finished explaining the anime-inspired world he had created that very morning.

Nick Fury rubbed his face, feeling the onset of yet another headache. Every time he thought he had a handle on Peter-Knull's capabilities, the symbiote variant presented something even more mind-boggling.

One by one, the diplomats introduced themselves.

The list was as follows…

Sym-Sapion Diplomat: Lior

Lior, with his ethereal presence, stepped forward first. His raven black hair flowed like liquid mercury, and his glowing blue eyes reflected a mystical aura. His robe shifted colors with his emotions, adding to his otherworldly appearance. "I am Lior, diplomat of the Sym-Sapions. It is an honor to be here."

Sym-Goblin Diplomat: Grizzle

Next was Grizzle, a small green-skinned goblin with glowing yellow eyes. His skin was covered in symbiotic tendrils, and he wore a tattered cloak that shifted and changed. Holding a staff embedded with a glowing crystal, he said, "Grizzle, at your service. I specialize in strategy and resourcefulness."

Sym-Orc Diplomat: Grommash

Grommash, the fierce green-skinned orc, stood next. His fiery orange eyes and massive double-edged axe radiated power. "I am Grommash, warrior and protector of my people."

Sym-Fairy Diplomat: Althea

Althea, a delicate fairy with translucent wings, stepped forward, her bright eyes reflecting her curious nature. "Althea, from the Sym-Fairies. I bring with me the wisdom and compassion of my kind."

Sym-Angel Diplomat: Seraphiel

Seraphiel, a majestic angel with large white wings, radiated a soft, heavenly light. His intense blue eyes conveyed a deep sense of justice. "I am Seraphiel, here to guide and protect."

Sym-Elf Diplomat: Lythiel

Finally, Lythiel, a tall and lithe elf with intricate natural symbiotic patterns on their skin, glowing faintly, introduced himself. "Lythiel, guardian and healer from the enchanted forests of Elusia."

Fury's expression remained stoic, but his eyes betrayed his astonishment. Dazzler, Jubilee, Laura, and Domino stood nearby, their jaws nearly hitting the floor as they took in the surreal sight.

Peter-Knull continued, "If you're willing, I could arrange a diplomatic exchange to this particular world in my symbiotic universe whenever you're ready. This is why I brought them here."

Fury nodded slowly, still processing everything. "So, let me get this straight. You created this entire world, complete with these diplomats and 8000 years of history, since this morning?"

Peter-Knull merely shrugged… "Pretty much…"

Fury, feeling another headache coming on, rubbed his temples. "Every time, Peter. Every time I think I've got you figured out, you throw another curveball at me."

Fury, still rubbing his temples, finally let out a deep sigh. "Alright, Peter. You've got my attention. We'll see about arranging that diplomatic exchange. Just... no more surprises for today, okay?"

Peter-Knull grinned. "No promises, Nick. No promises."

On the tarmac, a buzz of activity filled the air as the selected diplomats and SHIELD agents prepared for their journey. The diplomats, chosen by Nick Fury, stood ready alongside Dazzler, who held her son, Sonic Shade, in her arms. Toon-Shade who was eager to see his new cousins, Logan, Laura, Jubilee, Domino, and Agent Hill were all present, eager to embark on this unique mission.Top of Form

Peter-Knull was at the center of it all, his symbiotic material spreading out and forming an intricate gateway. The material shimmered with an otherworldly glow, the portal taking shape under his careful manipulation.

Madelyne Pryor, standing close to Peter-Knull, looked on with keen interest. "I'm eager to see what one of your symbiotic worlds is like, Peter," she said, her eyes reflecting a mix of curiosity and excitement.

Peter-Knull smiled. "You'll be amazed, Madelyne. And don't worry about time. Universal travel, especially to my realm, can be fluent in terms of time. When done right, only a few minutes will pass in real time, or no time at all, even if you spend months or years there. I've got the keys to that world and back again. So, you'll all pop back up right at the very moment we leave, no matter how long you stay."

Dazzler adjusted Sonic Shade in her arms and looked at Peter-Knull with a mix of anticipation and amazement, "So, we won't be on a timed schedule?"

Peter-Knull nodded reassuringly. "Exactly. You can explore, learn, and experience everything without worrying about the passage of time here."

Logan, with his arms crossed, eyed the symbiotic gateway with some interest, "Well… this will be interesting…?"Bottom of Form he muttered.

"We'll be fine, Logan." Laura said, "Besides, it sounds like an adventure."

Jubilee, bouncing on her heels, was practically bursting with excitement. "An anime-inspired symbiotic world? This is going to be epic!"

Domino, ever the pragmatist, checked her gear one last time before glancing at Peter-Knull. "Just make sure we have a safe way back."

Peter-Knull raised a hand, giving them a thumbs up. "I've got everything pre-planned, besides, we'll only be spending a day there or less so we don't overwhelm all of you."

Agent Hill, standing alongside the group, gave a nod of approval. "Alright, Peter. Lead the way."

The symbiotic diplomats, each carrying a unique aura and presence, lined up behind Peter-Knull. Lior, Grizzle, Grommash, Althea, Seraphiel, and Lythiel all stood ready, their expressions reflecting a blend of confidence and readiness.

With a final glance at the assembled group, Peter-Knull extended his hand toward the gateway. The portal pulsed with energy, the shimmering light intensifying.

"Let's go," he said, stepping through the gateway first. One by one, the others followed, their figures disappearing into the luminous portal. Dazzler, carrying Sonic Shade, stepped through with Toon-Shade by her side. Jubilee followed closely behind, her excitement written all over her face.

Logan, Laura, Domino, and Agent Hill were next, each one stepping into the unknown with a mixture of caution and anticipation.

As Madelyne Pryor stepped through, she felt a rush of energy envelop her. The transition was seamless, and the world on the other side was unlike anything she had ever seen.

The symbiotic realm of Elusia spread out before them, a vibrant landscape filled with fantastical elements and symbiotic beings. The air was charged with magic and energy, the sky painted with hues of blue and purple. Towering structures intertwined with nature, creating a harmonious blend of civilization and the wild.

Peter-Knull turned to face the group, a satisfied smile on his face. "Welcome to Elusia. Take your time, explore, and enjoy. We'll return whenever you're ready."

As the gateway to the symbiotic realm materialized, Peter-Knull ushered the group through the shimmering portal. Emerging on the other side, they were greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the city-state of Elusia. The city sprawled before them, a vast metropolis built in a meticulous grid pattern, its architecture an intricate blend of crystal structures, floating spires, and majestic buildings that seemed to defy gravity.

"Welcome to Elusia," Peter-Knull announced, his voice echoing with pride. "This is just one-fourth of the city. The section we're in is perched on the nearby mountains, offering a unique vantage point of the sprawling metropolis below."

The group marveled at the sight, their eyes wide with wonder. The city's layout was nothing short of awe-inspiring, with sections seamlessly integrated into the surrounding mountain ranges, vast fields, and dense forests. Floating above the city were ethereal spires and structures, connected by streams of luminous energy that pulsated with life.

"This is incredible," Jubilee whispered, her eyes reflecting the shimmering light from the floating spires. "It's like something out of a dream."

Dazzler, carrying her son Sonic Shade, nodded in agreement. "I can't believe how massive this place is. It would take forever to explore everything."

Laura, Logan, Domino, and Agent Hill stood silently, absorbing the sheer scale and beauty of Elusia. Madelyne Pryor, standing beside Peter-Knull, was eager to explore the intricacies of one of her husband's creations. She glanced at Peter-Knull, who was smiling, clearly pleased with their reactions.

"The central castle," Peter-Knull pointed towards a grand structure dominating the skyline, "is where we will begin our tour. It's the heart of Elusia and houses the main administrative functions."

As the group followed Peter-Knull towards the central castle, they couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and curiosity about the adventures that awaited them in this extraordinary world.

As the group followed Peter-Knull down the street of Elusia, they were immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. The streets were lined with various shops and market stalls, each showcasing a wide array of goods from across the symbiotic realm. The architecture was a beautiful blend of medieval and fantastical elements, with intricate designs and structures that seemed to defy the laws of physics.

Dazzler, carrying her son Sonic-Shade, walked beside Toon-Shade, taking in the sights and sounds with wide-eyed wonder. The residents of Elusia, belonging to various symbiotic races, gave them respectful nods as they passed. Some even kneeled in fealty or gave polite bows to Peter-Knull and his wife, Madelyne Pryor, acknowledging their presence with reverence.

"This place is incredible," Dazzler whispered to Toon-Shade. "It's like stepping into a living fantasy."

Jubilee, walking nearby, nodded in agreement. "I still can't believe all of this was created just this morning."

Logan, ever the skeptic, was trying to wrap his head around the concept. "So, this whole planet was made this morning, along with its 8,000 years of history? That's a hard to wrap my head around."

Peter-Knull overheard and chuckled. "It's true, Logan. With the power of the symbiotes and a little creative thinking, anything is possible. This world is designed to be a perfect blend of various cultures and histories, all interconnected through their symbiotic bonds."

Laura, Domino, and Agent Hill took in the sights, each marveling at the intricate details of the city. The path they walked was only a small part of Elusia, yet it felt vast and filled with endless possibilities.

As they continued towards the central castle, they passed by street performers, bustling markets, and towering structures that seemed to touch the sky. The atmosphere was lively, with people from different races interacting harmoniously, their symbiotic connections evident in the way they moved and communicated.

Madelyne Pryor walked beside Peter-Knull, her eyes shining with pride and curiosity. "This world is a masterpiece, Peter. I can't wait to explore more of it."

Peter-Knull smiled at her. "There's so much to see and do here. We'll start with the central castle, but there's a whole world waiting for us. And remember, time flows differently here, so we can take our time to truly experience everything."

Peter-Knull led them through the winding streets, eventually arriving at the grand entrance of the central castle. The castle itself was a towering structure with a blend of medieval and fantasy architecture, adorned with intricate symbiotic designs. As they approached, the group noticed the vastness of the surrounding gardens.

The gardens were a serene oasis filled with vibrant flora, both natural and symbiotic. Trees with bioluminescent leaves and flowers that seemed to hum with life surrounded them. The ceiling above the garden was a brilliant sky, making Logan do a double take. "It's bigger on the inside than the outside... if only slightly," Peter-Knull shrugged, a playful grin on his face.

Peter-Knull gave them a moment to take in the beauty of the garden. The lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere provided a stark contrast to the bustling streets they had just traversed. Water fountains gurgled peacefully, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.

Madelyne Pryor wandered off slightly, admiring the intricate designs and the harmonious blend of nature and symbiosis. The rest of the group followed suit, each taking a moment to appreciate the unique beauty of the garden.

As they explored, a Sym-Elf symbiote, with graceful features and intricate natural patterns on his skin, approached Logan. He offered a tray with small, bite-sized pieces of a symbiotic jelly-like mold. The Sym-Elf bowed slightly and gestured towards the tray, speaking in a soft, melodic voice, "Please, try some. It's a delicacy here."

Logan eyed the tray curiously and picked up one of the jelly molds. The texture was firm yet slightly pliable, and it had a faint, pleasant aroma. He popped it into his mouth and was surprised by the burst of flavors – it was sweet, tangy, and had a subtle floral note.

"Not bad," Logan muttered, nodding appreciatively. As he glanced around, he noticed that some of the plants had jelly cubes growing on them like fruit on vines. The translucent cubes glistened in the light, making them look almost magical.

He reached out and picked a jelly cube directly from a vine, inspecting it before taking a bite. The freshness and natural sweetness of the jelly mold were even more pronounced when eaten straight from the plant.

Peter-Knull, observing Logan's reaction, smiled warmly. "These gardens are full of surprises," he said. "The symbiotic plants here produce some of the finest delicacies you'll find."

Logan nodded, chewing thoughtfully. "This place... it's like nothing I've ever seen before."

Nearby, Dazzler and Jubilee were also sampling the jelly molds, sharing their amazement at the unique flavors. Laura, typically reserved, found herself intrigued by the bioluminescent plants and the gentle hum that seemed to emanate from the flowers.

Domino and Agent Hill wandered deeper into the garden, marveling at the variety of symbiotic flora. They came across a small pond with water lilies that glowed softly, casting an ethereal light on the water's surface.

Madelyne, captivated by the serene beauty of the place, turned to Peter-Knull. "You've truly created something extraordinary here."

Peter-Knull bowed his head slightly. "Thank you, my love. I wanted to create a place where harmony and beauty could flourish."

After a while, Peter-Knull gently called them back. "There's still much to see. Let's continue our journey."

Peter-Knull led the group into a grand hall, its high vaulted ceilings adorned with intricate symbiotic patterns that seemed to move and change shape. Tapestries lined the walls, depicting scenes of a rich history that had come into existence just that morning—8000 years' worth of events and lore, their vibrant threads animated and engaged in lively discussions with each other. Statues and motifs seemed to come to life, their symbiotic details weaving a dynamic and ever-changing tapestry of their own.

As they entered, Peter-Knull gestured broadly. "Feel free to explore. This hall contains many artifacts and trinkets, each with its own story and purpose."

The group spread out, marveling at the array of cases displaying various artifacts. The items seemed almost sentient, their symbiotic elements interacting with the guests, as if eager to share their history and purpose. Water fountains gurgled peacefully, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.

Jubilee was the first to notice something peculiar. She pointed it out to the others. "Hey, these artifacts... they have our names on them!"

They quickly looked at the artifacts, and sure enough they all had a name inscribed, signifying it was meant for a specific member of the group. Peter-Knull smiled and nodded. "Yes, each of these items has been created with one of you in mind. Feel free to select your item of choice."

Logan wandered over to a display case and saw a sturdy belt with intricate designs. As he picked it up, the belt spoke to him in a deep, resonant voice. "I am the Belt of Infinite Stamina. With me, you will never tire, no matter how much you exert yourself."

Logan smirked. "Sounds like my kind of thing." He fastened the belt around his waist and felt a surge of energy course through him.

Nearby, Dazzler found a pair of gloves that glowed with a soft, pulsing light. "I am the Gloves of Radiant Light," they whispered. "With me, your light-based powers will be enhanced, and you can manipulate light in ways you've never imagined."

Jubilee discovered a necklace with a pendant that seemed to shimmer with a thousand colors. "I am the Necklace of Prism Magic. I will amplify your powers and allow you to create dazzling displays of light and energy."

Laura picked up a pair of boots that seemed to meld with her feet as soon as she put them on. "I am the Boots of Silent Steps. With me, you will move with the utmost stealth and speed, your every step silent and sure."

Domino selected a bracelet that wrapped around her wrist with a satisfying click. "I am the Bracelet of Unerring Aim. Your accuracy will be unmatched, and your strikes will always find their mark."

Madelyne Pryor found a staff that hummed with power. "I am the Staff of Symbiotic Sorcery. With me, your magical abilities will be greatly enhanced, and you can tap into the symbiotic energies of this realm."

Agent Hill chose a shield that seemed to pulse with protective energy. "I am the Shield of Unyielding Defense. With me, you will be protected from any harm, your defense unbreakable."

Each item engaged in genuine, friendly chats with its new owner, offering advice and insights on how to use their newfound abilities. The group spent the next hour exploring the hall, marveling at the history and artifacts that had come into existence in a single morning.

Logan found himself mingling with the symbiotic beings, their unique appearances and behaviors fascinating him. The belt he wore seemed to pulse with life, joining in on the conversation. As Logan chatted with a Sym-Elf who offered him another piece of the surprisingly good jelly-like mold, he couldn't help but notice one of the grand tapestries on the wall.

The tapestry displayed the entirety of the landmasses they were currently on. His jaw practically dropped as he processed the sheer scale of the world. The landmasses were interconnected, each territory unique and expansive. Logan's eyes darted to the upper left corner of the tapestry, where he spotted the city they were in—Elusia. It was just a small city in this vast world.

"Can you believe it?" Logan muttered, half to himself, half to the belt, which seemed to hum in agreement. "This place is the size of Jupiter, and yet the gravity ain't crushin' us. How does that even work?"

The Sym-Elf next to him chuckled softly. "Peter-Knull has ensured that the symbiotic balance maintains the environment. The gravity, the atmosphere... it's all part of the symbiotic harmony."

Logan nodded slowly, his brain struggling to process the vastness and the intricacies of this new world. He looked back at the tapestry, taking in the names of the territories. Each one promised a new adventure, a new challenge to process.

Elusia: The city-state where they currently were, a melting pot of all the symbiotic races.

Vextria: A vast desert land known for its ancient symbiotic ruins and powerful sandstorms.

Zypheron: A mountainous region with towering peaks and deep valleys, home to the Sym-Giants.

Lumoria: A land of perpetual twilight, where bioluminescent flora and fauna create a glowing landscape.

Nebulon Plains: Expansive grasslands filled with symbiotic creatures that blend with the environment.

Aquarion: An underwater realm with sprawling coral cities and mysterious symbiotic sea creatures.

Thornwild Forest: Dense, enchanted woods that house the Sym-Fae and other mystical beings.

Cindara: Volcanic lands with flowing lava rivers and symbiotic fire beings.

Aetheris: Floating islands in the sky, connected by bridges of light, home to the Sym-Angels.

Crythoria: A frozen tundra where ice and snow are in constant flux, inhabited by just as many symbiotic beings and peoples.

As Logan absorbed the names and locations, he felt a mixture of excitement and being overwhelmed.

The vastness of this world, the countless adventures and dangers it held, made his head spin. Yet, he couldn't wait to explore it all.

He turned back to the Sym-Elf, who was still watching him with a knowing smile. "Guess I've got a lot to learn," Logan said, his voice filled with determination.

The Sym-Elf nodded. "And a lot to discover. This world is yours to explore, Logan. Embrace it."

Logan felt a surge of energy from the belt, as if it was sharing his excitement. With a nod, he rejoined the group, eager to see what other wonders this new world had to offer.

Peter-Knull watched with satisfaction as his guests mingled with the symbiotic beings. Each member of the group seemed to be adapting well, their artifacts integrating seamlessly with their abilities. He glanced at Madelyne Pryor, who was deep in conversation with a Sym-Angel about the symbiotic magic that permeated the world.

As he observed Logan studying the tapestry, he could see the awe and excitement in his eyes. This was exactly the reaction Peter-Knull had hoped for. He approached Logan and spoke up.

Logan looked up, a mixture of lingering shock and amazement in his gaze. "Yeah. It's... a lot to process.

Madelyne Pryor's Perspective

Madelyne Pryor wandered through the gardens, marveling at the harmonious blend of nature and symbiosis. The vibrant flora, bioluminescent leaves, and humming flowers created a serene and enchanting atmosphere. She admired the intricate designs and the way the symbiotic elements enhanced the natural beauty of the garden.

She noticed Logan talking to a Sym-Elf and couldn't help but smile. Each member of their group was finding their place in this new world, discovering its wonders and adapting to the sheer scale of her husband's creations.

Madelyne herself was eager to explore the magical aspects of this realm, to delve into the symbiotic sorcery that Peter-Knull had mentioned.

Jubilee's Perspective

Jubilee wandered through the grand hall, her eyes wide with amazement. The animated tapestries and lively symbiotic patterns were unlike anything she had ever seen.

She was wondering if she was in her inner fangirl's heaven…

Jubilee glanced around the hall, watching her friends select their artifacts and interact with the symbiotic beings. Each member of the group seemed to be finding their place, adapting to the unique challenges and opportunities of this new world. Jubilee felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. And she was eager to learn as much as she can…

Dazzler's Perspective

Dazzler walked through the grand hall, her eyes darting between the animated tapestries, the talking artifacts, and the lively symbiotic beings. She held her son, Sonic-Shade, in her arms, while Toon-Shade walked beside her. The hall was filled with wonders beyond her wildest dreams, and she could feel the excitement bubbling up within her.

As they approached one of the display cases, a massive Sym-Orc with green skin and big tusks stepped forward. The Sym-Orc's eyes lit up as he spotted Toon-Shade, and he bowed deeply in his presence.

"Toon-Shade, it's an honor to see you again," the Sym-Orc said with a respectful tone.

Dazzler raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "What's that about?" she asked, looking at Toon-Shade.

Toon-Shade chuckled and gave her a knowing smile. "Well, on my cartoonish symbiotic world, I'm the ruler there," he explained. "Which makes you my queen of that solar system, my love."

Dazzler blinked, processing the information. "Queen of a solar system? That's... wow."

Toon-Shade nodded, a playful glint in his eyes. "Yeah, it's a bit much to take in, but it's true. The symbiotic beings here know us from our respective worlds. They respect our positions and roles."

Dazzler looked at the Sym-Orc, who was still bowing, and then back at Toon-Shade. "I guess that explains the bowing," she said with a laugh.

The Sym-Orc straightened up and nodded. "Toon-Shade is highly respected in his world, and we honor that respect here in Elusia," he explained.

Dazzler smiled, feeling a mix of pride and amazement. "Well, I suppose I'll have to get used to this royalty thing," she said, giving Toon-Shade a playful nudge.

Toon-Shade grinned and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "You'll be great at it," he said, kissing her cheek as he stretched upwards slightly.

"And Sonic-Shade here will be a prince."

Sonic-Shade gurgled happily in Dazzler's arms, making her heart swell with love. "Our little prince," she whispered, kissing the top of his head.

Toon-Shade's Perspective

Toon-Shade felt a sense of pride as the Sym-Orc greeted him with such reverence. He knew that his position as the ruler of his cartoonish symbiotic world carried weight, but seeing it acknowledged in this grand hall filled him with a deep sense of responsibility.

He watched as Dazzler processed the information, her eyes wide with surprise. He could see the mix of emotions in her eyes—amazement, curiosity, and a touch of disbelief. He chuckled softly, knowing how overwhelming it all must be.

When she asked about the bowing, Toon-Shade explained his role with a smile. He loved seeing the look of wonder on her face, knowing that she was part of this extraordinary world too. Her laughter and playful nudge made him feel even more connected to her.

As the Sym-Orc explained the respect they had for him, Toon-Shade felt a surge of pride. He knew that his position wasn't just a title—it was a role he took seriously. And now, with Dazzler and Sonic-Shade by his side, he felt even more motivated to lead and protect his world which is his second home.

He wrapped his arm around Dazzler, feeling her warmth and love. "You'll be great at it," he assured her, kissing her cheek. Seeing her smile and hearing her call Sonic-Shade their little prince filled him with joy.

Sonic-Shade's Perspective

Sonic-Shade, cradled in his mother's arms, gazed around the grand hall with wide, curious eyes. Though he was too young to understand the intricacies of the world around him, he could feel the excitement and warmth emanating from his parents.

He gurgled happily as the Sym-Orc greeted his father with a bow. The large green figure fascinated him, and he reached out a tiny hand, intrigued by the tusks and the Sym-Orc's deep voice.

When his father explained their roles, Sonic-Shade sensed the pride in his voice. He didn't fully grasp the concept of being a prince, but the affectionate tone and the loving looks from his parents made him feel safe and cherished.

As his mother kissed the top of his head and called him their little prince, Sonic-Shade cooed contentedly. He felt the warmth and love surrounding him, and it filled him with a sense of comfort and happiness.

A few hours later, as the sun began to set over the majestic city-state of Elusia, Peter-Knull gathered the group near the central castle. The time had come to return to their own universe. With a wave of his hand, he summoned a swirling vortex of symbiotic matter , which quickly expanded into a portal.

"Alright, everyone," Peter-Knull said, his voice resonating with authority and warmth. "It's time to head back."

The group exchanged glances, some reluctant to leave the wondrous world they had just begun to explore. Dazzler held Sonic-Shade close, while Toon-Shade stood by her side, his hand on her shoulder. Logan, Jubilee, Laura, Domino, Agent Hill, and Madelyne Pryor all gathered around, ready to step through the portal.

"Remember," Peter-Knull reminded them, "no time will have passed on your side. It'll be as if you never left."

With a final look at the breathtaking landscape of Elusia—the floating spires, the lush gardens, and the grand castle—the group stepped through the portal. The swirling symbiotic energy enveloped them, and in an instant, they were back in their own universe.

As they emerged on the other side, they found themselves exactly where they had started—on the tarmac. The SHIELD agents who had seen them off were still standing there, looking as if no time had passed at all. Their expressions shifted from confusion to relief as they realized the group had returned.

"Welcome back," one of the SHIELD agents said, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "It looked like you just went in and came right back out."

Dazzler looked around, adjusting to the sudden change. "That was... fast," she said, still holding Sonic-Shade.

Logan rubbed the back of his neck, processing the surreal experience. "Feels like we were gone for hours," he muttered.

Peter-Knull stepped forward, a satisfied smile on his face. "That's the beauty of universal travel, especially within my symbiotic universe. Time can be quite fluid."

Madelyne Pryor nodded, her eyes gleaming with the excitement of their recent adventure. "I can't believe all that happened in what felt like no time at all."

Jubilee, still wide-eyed from the experience, looked at the SHIELD agents. "You have no idea what we just saw," she said, a smile spreading across her face.

The SHIELD agents exchanged glances, clearly curious but also relieved that their team was back safely. "Glad to have you all back in one piece," another agent said.

As the group began to disperse, Peter-Knull closed the portal with a flourish of his hand. "There's plenty more to explore," he said, addressing the group. "And you're always welcome to return."

As they walked away from the tarmac, Logan glanced back at Peter-Knull. "So, when's the next trip?" he asked with a grin.

Peter-Knull chuckled. "Whenever you're ready, Logan. Whenever you're ready."

Nick Fury sat at his desk, sifting through the reports from the diplomats he had sent along with Logan and the others. The pictures they had taken were beyond imagination, depicting fantastic scenes and structures that defied the ordinary. There were towering castles with floating spires, lush gardens teeming with bioluminescent flora, and busy streets filled with beings of all shapes and sizes, all intertwined with symbiotic enhancements. The details in the reports were bizarre, describing a world so intricately pre-planned that there were no wars—one of the benefits of having a hive mind, apparently.

Fury tried to wrap his head around the idea that all the symbiotic beings were connected to Peter-Knull in some way, making them extensions of him with their own personalities. It was like trying to comprehend a god-like entity who could create and control a world of this magnitude.

Which was impossible for his little mortal mind to do.

But what really blew his mind was the sheer scale of the world—a planet the size of Jupiter. He looked at the map in front of him, noting that just one little piece of the map's land masses on the map was the size of the United States, Canada, and South America combined. The realization of this scale made his head spin.

With a light thunk, Fury rested his head on the desk, trying to imagine the mountain of paperwork that awaited him. How was he going to explain this to the higher-ups? The enormity of it all was too much for one little world like theirs to process all at once. The thought of trying to detail a world with such scale, that had no wars, a hive mind, and a physical connection to a being like Peter-Knull was overwhelming.

Kitsura, a kitsune-like symbiote with nine symbiotic tails, couldn't help but giggle at Fury's reaction. She had been observing him quietly, her fox-like ears twitching with amusement. Her bright red symbiotic material shimmered in the dim light of Fury's office as she gracefully approached his desk.

"You seem troubled, Director Fury," Kitsura said, her voice melodic and soothing. "It is a lot to process so suddenly, isn't it?"

Fury lifted his head, giving her a weary look. "That's an understatement. This world... it's beyond anything we've ever encountered. And the fact that it was all created in a day with a complete history spanning 8000 years... it's just too much."

Kitsura nodded, understanding his bewilderment. "Peter-Knull's abilities are indeed extraordinary. But remember, he created this world to be a sanctuary, a place of peace and harmony. The hive mind ensures unity and prevents conflicts. It's a concept that might be foreign to your world, but it's very natural in ours."

Fury sighed, rubbing his temples. "I get that. But explaining this to my superiors... they're not going to believe it. They barely believe half the things we deal with on a daily basis."

Kitsura smiled sympathetically. "Perhaps it would help if they experienced it for themselves. Sometimes seeing is believing."

Fury shook his head, a small chuckle escaping him. "I don't think they're ready for that. Hell, I'm not even sure I'm ready for that. But thanks, Kitsura. Your insight is... helpful."

She bowed slightly, her tails swaying gracefully behind her. "Anytime, Director. Remember, I'll be here to give you any insights should it come to that."

Before leaving, Kitsura paused at his doorway and said, "If you think that's a unique world... remember, there are literally hundreds in all shapes, sizes, and natures... apparently Peter-Knull has been doing this for a while now... a whole universe worth..." she said cheerfully as she left the room, pretending that it wasn't a massive undertaking that Peter-Knull takes on a seemingly daily basis.

Fury watched her go, shaking his head in disbelief. A whole universe worth of worlds created by Peter-Knull? The scale of it was mind-boggling. How did one being manage to create and maintain so many worlds, each with its own unique characteristics and histories? It was beyond comprehension.

He turned his attention back to the reports, trying to absorb as much information as possible. The diplomats' accounts were detailed and vivid, describing their interactions with the various symbiotic beings and their experiences in the new world. They had met Sym-Elves, Sym-Orcs, Sym-Fairies, and many other races, each with their own customs and cultures. The symbiotic enhancements were not just physical but also extended to their abilities and ways of life.

One report caught his eye—a detailed description of a grand library in the central castle, where the walls were lined with books that seemed to be alive, whispering knowledge and secrets to those who sought them. The diplomats had spent hours there, learning about the history and lore of the symbiotic universe. It was a treasure trove of information, and Fury knew that SHIELD could benefit greatly from it.

As he continued reading, he couldn't help but feel a growing curiosity. Despite the overwhelming scale of all this, this was an unprecedented opportunity for exploration and learning. The possibilities were endless, and with allies like Kitsura and Peter-Knull, perhaps they could navigate this new frontier together.

Fury leaned back in his chair, a determined look on his face. "Alright, let's see what you've got, Peter-Knull," he muttered to himself, ready to dive deeper into the reports and uncover the mysteries of this extraordinary universe that they had suddenly been thrust into.

Elsewhere with agent hill…

Maria Hill was fastening the symbiotic shield to the wall of her office when a notification appeared on her secure tablet. It was marked "Urgent" and from two of the higher-ups on the governing body. She tapped it open, as she read it she grew increasingly worried as she read the contents.

The message was clinical and dispassionate:

To: Director Hill

Subject: Examination of Subject: Partially Zombified Scarlet Witch and Unborn Child

Director Hill,

After thorough deliberation, the governing body has decided to proceed with the examination of the subject known as the partially zombified Scarlet Witch (Variant from the Zombie Universe) and her unborn child. The subject in question, as you are aware, has shown signs of healing and rejuvenation due to the efforts of Peter Red-A2.

Despite these developments, it is imperative that we understand the full extent and nature of the reanimation process, as well as the potential implications of her pregnancy. Therefore, we require the immediate transport of the subject to our secure facilities for detailed examination.

We trust that you will arrange the necessary logistics for this operation.

Signed,

Director Laurence Whitmore

Director Evelyn Shaw

Hill felt a chill run down her spine. The term "examination" in this context sent alarm bells ringing in her head. The cold, clinical detachment of the message contrasted sharply with the fragile humanity of the situation. Peter Red-A2 had managed to give Wanda hope, rejuvenating her with serums that were helping her recover. She was healing, and more importantly, she wasn't hurting anyone. Yet, the higher-ups seemed to view her and her unborn child as mere subjects to be dissected and studied.

Hill re-read the message, hoping she had misunderstood. But the words remained stark and unyielding on the screen. She knew what "examine" could entail in the hands of the governing body's scientists. It rarely stopped at simple observation.

A sense of urgency and protectiveness surged within her. She needed to speak with Peter Red-A2 immediately. They had to prepare, to figure out a way to protect Wanda and the unborn child. There was no way she would let them become mere lab subjects after everything they had endured and the progress they had made.

Before she did anything, Hill composed herself and responded to the message:

To: Directors Whitmore and Shaw

Subject: RE: Examination of Subject: Partially Zombified Scarlet Witch and Unborn Child

Understood. I will arrange the necessary transport and logistics for the operation as requested. I trust that you will give them the respect they are due.

Director Maria Hill

With the message sent, she quickly moved to notify the others. The clock was ticking, and they needed a plan to address this situation.

Though her gut told her that something was profoundly wrong, something they weren't seeing…
