A/N: I know this is a late upload and I'm sorry for that, but to be truthful, I completely forgot to upload this to here because I have been getting back into Dishonored & I now remember how addicting that game was for me.

That is why I'm uploading this now as well as the next chapter for Perfection early & I'm saying it's early because I haven't even uploaded the one on Pat-reon yet. This is to say I'm sorry and I'll try my best to not forget about uploading again.

"You know, you don't have to look so beaten up about getting second place. We didn't expect Scarlet to take them all out like that." Leo spoke with a smirk as he looked at Eric, who was moping in the corner with his knees pulled to his chest.

"That's not why he was moping." Screecher said with a shake of his head, to which Leo looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Then, why?"

"Jura & Cana got to blow the arena up. Why couldn't I?"

"…Right, forgot you're a destructive maniac." Leo muttered with a shake of his head, Screecher snorting while Warcry chuckled as he patted him on the shoulder.

"Don't worry. I'm sure that you'll get to go all-out on the last day and then, no one will stop you."

"I know. I just needed to vent for a bit. Whoo! Okay, what's up next?"

"How can he switch up that fast?"

"Don't question the mind of the crazy, Screech. You're better off not knowing." Warcry said with a shake of his head, to which the Sonic Mage simply looked at the grinning Eric & laughing Bacchus before shaking his head as they all turned back to the arena.

"Ahem! Thank you everyone for waiting until the arena was fixed after Eric Creed's uh, blazing display of power. However, it is finally time to get on to the fighting rounds of the day and we are starting off strong! On one side, we have the embodiment of lightning & thunder! Sparking with powerful lightning, he is known across Fiore as the leader of the Thunder God Tribe, vanquishing foes left & right to save the day! Give it up for the Thunder God himself, Laxus…DREYAR!" The crowd roared as thunder boomed around the arena, Laxus teleporting from Team B's balcony onto the battlefield with his arms crossed & a confident smirk on his face.

"And his opponent is one that is infamous across Fiore as the #1 drunk of our beloved country! With palms of steel and guts of iron, he dances around his foes like a fool before delivering a plethora of strikes that sends them flying! From Quatro Cerberus…Bacchus GROH!"

'…Ain't no fucking way.' Eric thought with wide eyes as he slowly turned to Bacchus, whose smirk had grown feral as he leapt onto the railings.

"Bacchus…"

"I know, War. No fucking around." Bacchus cut off Warcry with a lopsided grin before leaping down onto the field, already tilting his head back as he downed his entire gourd in one go.

Throwing the empty gourd into the air, he gave Eric a thankful nod as the mage pulled it towards them before turning back to Laxus just as the blond took off his coat and threw it to the side.

"Are both fighters ready?" Mako asked, watching as both men nodded as sparks of yellow lightning raced across Laxus' body while the air around Bacchus began to grow heavy as he pulled his arms back.

"Then, let the match…begin!" Before Mako could even move out of the way, he was sent flying towards the announcer's booth by a devastating shockwave as the two men clashed.

Lightning scorched the ground as it poured out from under Laxus' fist while the air trembled with the force of Bacchus' palm strike as he parried the man's attack.

Bringing his other hand around, Bacchus slashed downwards just as Laxus spun around with an elbow, even more lightning tearing into the ground under them as he parried the blow away from his body.

Laxus was quick to use the opportunity as he hooked his left leg around Bacchus' & pulled, making the drunk stumble just as he came around with his right fist overflowing in lightning for an uppercut.

However, Bacchus was not one to be defeated that easily as he fell with his stumble and barely missed the fist to his jaw, hooking his left leg around Laxus' right before leaping up and landing a kick to the man's jaw.

It was not enough, though, and Laxus grinned as he took the blow before grabbing Bacchus by both legs, a deafening roar escaping his lips as they were swiftly obscured by a pillar of yellow lightning.

"And with that quick counter, Laxus delivers a critical blow to his opponent! We've seen Bacchus take attacks before, but none were on this scale! Will the mage stand up from this?" As the lightning died down, Laxus was already leaping away and everyone was surprised to see a manic Bacchus quick on his heels.

Other than the armour on his arms & shoulders being destroyed and a large cut on his back, the mage looked no worse for wear as he dove headfirst at Laxus, who frowned as he quickly raised a knee to block him.

However, that was what Bacchus wanted as he pushed his hands into the ground and flipped over the attack, landing in a seated position on the man's shoulder before Laxus' vision spun as the mage landed a vicious elbow to the top of his head.

Bacchus was not done as he continued elbow after elbow to the man's skull, blood flowing from Laxus' nose before the lightning dragon roared as he reached up & grabbed Bacchus by his sides.

Unable to get free, Bacchus quickly stopped his elbow barrage and tried to slam both hands into his ears, but it was too late and his eyes widened as he was lifted up before feeling nothing but pain as he was slammed into the ground with a powerbomb.

"Lightning Dragon's Sparking Bomb!" Laxus did not let it end there as he activated his spell, sparks of yellow & blue lightning appearing around the duo before a literal storm of lightning rained down upon them both, everyone in the arena unable to see nothing but flashes of blue & yellow on the battlefield.

As the rumbling of thunder finally died down, everyone looked to the arena floor to see who was still standing before their eyes widened as they saw both Bacchus & Laxus still standing.

Blood stained Laxus' hair crimson as it flowed freely from the top of his head and his nose, his shirt torn in places while parts of Bacchus' body was charred & scorched.

However, both men had nothing but wide grins on their faces as they took deep breaths, the entire arena shocked as the two simply went back to battling again.

Chops & palm strikes that would shatter bone & steel were thrown into Laxus' body while lightning that made the air tremble slammed into Bacchus' body and yet, the two fighters did not care to stop as Bacchus leapt over a charge from Laxus while spinning in the air.

Grabbing onto the man's back, Bacchus was quick to put him in a sleeper hold, but not quick enough as Laxus placed a hand in between Bacchus' arm & his neck.

Without wasting a second, Laxus leapt backwards before slamming first into the ground, Bacchus' grunt giving the dragon slayer enough breathing room as he turned to lightning & back in the blink of eye to spin around.

Now facing Bacchus, Laxus pressed his knees into Bacchus' shoulders as dense amounts of yellow lighting covered his fists, the Quatro mage's eyes widening as the dragon slayer lifted both hands above his head in a hammer fist.

"Lightning Dragon's Jaw!" With a final roar, Bacchus' vision went black as the fists crashed into his skull, the surrounding area cratered instantly as a monstrous lightning bolt erupted from the impact area, the crowd & other fighters all silent as they waited before Fairy Tail cheered as the dust cleared.

"You were a good match." Laxus spoke to the unconscious Bacchus with a smirk as he stood up before blinking as a soft chuckle came from Bacchus.

Its volume soon increased and it was not long before cackles escaped Bacchus' lips as the man flipped over to his feet, landing a few paces away from the dragon slayer with a lopsided grin while blood flowed freely from his forehead.

"Hahaha! Ahahahaha! Now this is what I'm talking about!" With a simple shout, Laxus' eyes widened slightly as Bacchus raised his arms behind him before rocketing forward, Laxus quickly raising his arms in a cross-guard before wheezing as the force from the attack flowed right through & into his body.

'Wha-!' However, he was not left alone to his thoughts as Bacchus spun while lashing out with a chop to his chest, making the dragon slayer wheeze as he felt the blow cracking a few ribs before ducking under the second attack & leaping back.

In the blink of an eye, half of his body turned to lightning just as Bacchus' palm struck right through it, to which the mage simply grinned as he raised his hands in a prayer form before stabbing them forward as fast as he could.

In the blink of an eye, the wall behind Laxus had a gaping hole in it as the force from Bacchus' attack sent the dragon slayer flying, but he was quick to switch to lightning and race through the air.

"Lightning Javelin!" Laxus chanted as he shifted back to his human form midair, spinning while holding his hand out as sparks of yellow lightning gathered around it before a large javelin appeared in his grasp.

With a grunt, the air sparked as he tossed it at Bacchus, who frowned as he pulled a palm back before slamming it into the javelin with a shout.

Instantly, it dissipated into nothingness as Bacchus' strike won, though not unscathed and the mage gritted his teeth as he tensed his entire body to get rid of the paralysis before shaking his head as he looked at Laxus landing.

"You're not going to unleash your Second Origin?" Bacchus asked with a raised eyebrow, cackling as Laxus snorted.

"No. Are you?"

"No. Want to spare that energy for the last day. So, what do you say on one final attack from each of us?"

"From the stories I've heard about you, that doesn't sound like you." Laxus said with a smirk, to which Bacchus hummed with a shrug.

"While I would love to fight more, my body is beginning to give out and going any further might cause me to be forced out for the rest of the Games. Now, flow!" Bacchus shouted as his ethernano surged to the forefront, his body bulging slightly and Laxus raised an eyebrow as the mage's wounds were sealed shut by sheer force.

"Very well. Dragon Slayer…Secret Art!" Laxus growled as his body overflowed with intense yellow & blue lightning, the dragon slayer grinning as he pulled a fist back.

Bacchus matched his feral grin with one of his own as he pulled his hands back towards his side, clenching both of them tightly as vivid blue ethernano covered them both before rushing forward.

As the two men neared each other, both had a satisfied grin on their faces as they sent their attacks flying forward, their words only being audible a moment later just as the two moves clashed.

"Heavenly Falcon Attack!/ Roaring Thunder!" One moment, all came to a standstill as both Laxus & Bacchus were obscured by a bright white light.

The next, the world itself cried in agony as lightning & wind exploded into existence, the crowd all panicking as the explosion grew closer to the stands.

"Three Pillar Gods!/ Iron Mountain: Talus!" Makarov & Jura exclaimed respectively as they both activated their best defensive spells, each giving the other a nod of respect as a giant made out of stone wrapped itself around the explosion while a trio of golden magic crest & pillars wrapped around the giant.

The explosion rocked the arena for a while before it finally began to fade away, Jura & Makarov waiting until the explosion was truly gone before sighing as they deactivated their spells.

As the giant sunk back into the ground while the pillars & crests dissipated into nothingness, the end result of the battle became clear and Eric sighed at the sight of Laxus sitting on a knee while Bacchus was laid out on his back in the deep crater they were in.

'I guess that was to be expected.' Eric thought as he leapt from the balcony and landed next to the crater, giving the curious Laxus a thankful nod.

"On behalf of him, thanks for the good match. Although, knowing him, he'll probably come thank you himself." Eric spoke with a smirk as he knelt down next to Bacchus & gingerly picked him up, to which Laxus snorted as the dragon slayer stood up on shaky legs & turned to make his way out of the crater.

"I'm still waiting for our match."

"Ha! Why don't us Dragon Slayers just duke it out on the last day? There, no one will beat you."

"Make sure you don't break that promise." Laxus spoke with a grin and Eric grinned as he nodded, watching as the Lightning Dragon Slayer walked away before shaking his head as he flew back up to the Quatro Cerberus' booth.

"How is he?" Warcry asked as they watched Eric softly placing Bacchus on the ground, to which Eric simply frowned as his eyes turned a vivid scarlet.

'Six broken ribs, severe internal bleeding, several fractures in his ulna & radius, a broken right femur and the bones in almost finger & toe are nothing but dust.'

"Truthfully, it's a miracle he's still in one piece."

"F-Fu…fu…ck…you." Bacchus gargled out with a bloody grin, to which Eric simply rolled his eyes as he looked at the drunk.

"No talking. We can't have you aggravating your injuries any further."

"Guess it's time to take you to our medic. Think Guy will be pissed?"

"Oh, definitely. He did tell us to not go all out." Screecher said with a smirk, to which Eric chuckled as he slowly picked up Bacchus while making sure to only lighten the man slightly.

He didn't know what would happen if he removed gravity from someone with severe internal bleeding.

Would the blood swish around & cause more damage or would it swirl around inside his body, shifting his organs around…and cause more damage?

Yeah, better to just carry him there.

"Yep, knew one of you two would be the first here." Guy groaned as he watched Eric & Bacchus walking through the door, Goldmine snorting as Flare giggled.

"Did you expect them to be any different than before?"

"One could hope, Master. So, what's the damage?" Guy asked as he looked at Eric, humming as the mage listed off the injuries before giving a deadpan stare at the happy grin on Bacchus' face.

A high-pitched squeal echoed in the medical room as Guy reached over & pushed against a broken rib, Bacchus unable to move a muscle thanks to Guy's shields holding him in place while Eric, Goldmine & Flare were slightly pale & afraid at the sadistic smirk on the man's face.

"That is for causing me more trouble than you're worth. Now then, Eric, help here, would you?" Eric just nodded as he walked forward while Dragon Cry appeared in a flash of scarlet next to him, the staff resting against his arm as ethernano began flowing from it into him.

Placing his hands above those of Guy's, Eric was just as amazed as everyone else in the room as a large screen surrounded Bacchus in a bubble, ethernano flowing from the screen onto Bacchus before the bruises on his body slowly but began to fade.

'It's not on the same level as that bubbly Orihime from Bleach, but it's still amazing to see Guy mirror someone's body from being near-dead to being as fresh as a daisy.' Eric thought with a grin as he was able to see Bacchus' bones & organs slowly reverting back to how they were before he got injured, the process feeling as if it would take forever before Guy finally let out a tired sigh as he nodded for Eric to pull his hands away.

"You still have a fractured ulna, but…it's only slight and will be repaired by the fifth day."

"You…just did that…so I won't fight, didn't you?" Bacchus wheezed, glaring at the smug & sweating Guy as Eric took a moment to catch his breath as well.

Unfortunately, unlike Orihime's that only needed her, Guy's 'healing' took large reserves of ethernano from both the caster & the recipient and while the Mirror Mage had enough to be part of the upper echelon of Fiore's mages, it was only through Eric's Dragon Cry that Guy could heal someone back to being as fresh as a daisy.

"You good?" Flare asked in concern as she helped Eric stand, to which the gravity mage gave a slight smile as he nodded while standing up straight.

"Yeah. We're…just not used to having to do that for severe injuries."

"Sorry about that, by the way. It was just such a good fight that I may have gotten lost in the moment.

"The moment we saw you running out of lightning with that feral smirk, we knew you were gone." Flare answered with a smirk, to which Bacchus simply scoffed as everyone nodded in agreement at her words.

"Fine, then. I'll try to keep myself under control next time. Happy?"

"Not really since everyone knows that's an empty promise, but sure. Now, let's head back. I'm pretty sure the third match is about to start."

"We missed match two & three?" Eric asked with raised eyebrows, Bacchus mirroring him as Leo smirked & nodded.

"Yeah, Round 2 was the Sky Dragon Slayer from Fairy Tail A against the girl from Lamia Scale who apparently uses Sky God Slayer magic. Then, Round 3 ended within mere moments when that Millianna from Mermaid Heel wrapped Eve from Blue Pegasus in a cocoon of magic-cancelling tubes before he could cast his first spell."

"Damn, wish I fought her."

"No speaking about your fetish out loud Bacchus." Eric muttered with a shake of his head, Bacchus simply cackling while the others shook their heads.

"Whoo! That was a quick third match if I ever seen it as Mermaid Heel takes that win! However, I believe the next round is going to be a lot longer than that as the participants are from guilds that have shown themselves to be powerful! Firstly, from the guild that was formerly known as a Dark Guild, he is their mysterious Ace that has gone around & taken out Dark Guild after Dark Guild with ruthless efficiency. Known as the Golden Blade, give it up for Alexei!" Eric frowned as he watched the man in golden armour walking out onto the field, some of the crowd cheering half-heartedly and the others uneasy as they watched the man come to a standstill next to a cautious Mako.

"His foe, however, is someone that everyone knows & adores, known as the Minstrel Who Sings to The Red Moon! With poetic verses and a calm visage, he takes out his opponent by using their allies' abilities against them! It's none other than Rufus LORE!" Here, the crowd roared as the smirking Rufus walked out onto the battlefield, their cheers growing even louder as the man bowed to them before looking at his foe with a smirk.

"May this be a wondrous bout for us both."

"You will lose." Alexei gave a simple answer in response, one that made Rufus give a soft chuckle as he hummed.

"We shall see."

"Are both fighters ready?" Rufus smiled as he nodded and raised his right index & middle finger to the side of his temple while Alexei hummed as a flagpole with Raven Tail's sigil on a flag appeared in his hands.

"Then let the battle…begin!"

A/N: Another quick & simple chapter to showcase just how much stronger everyone in this world is and to make it clear, neither Bacchus nor Laxus were actually going all out until their final attacks nor were either of them using Second Origin.
