THE DEMON FROM WITHIN

Samantha 'Sam' Manson, a now 15-year-old high school girl has finally accomplished her heart's desire.

6 months ago, Danny Fenton, who's better known by his half-ghost identity, Danny Phantom, has finally become her boyfriend after the both of them opened up their feelings before the Disasteroid was about to hit earth. But thanks to Danny's ghost powers and help from the other ghosts, they were able to prevent the world and also the Ghost-Zone from being destroyed by making the whole Earth intangible.

But upon returning victorious and seeing that his family and the whole world didn't saw him anymore as Public Enemy Number one, Danny had finally decided to reveal his true identity to the whole world.

Now, Danny is being praised as the greatest hero mankind has ever known. And with her and Danny finally being a couple, things couldn't be more perfect for Sam.

Unfortunately, Sam would be proven wrong.

With everyone now knowing Danny is the half-ghost hero Danny Phantom, his world fame came at a price to both his social life and his relationship with Sam. In the first few months, with paparazzi following him almost everywhere and every teenage girl in town, if not the whole world, want to date him, Danny could barely make any time to spend with his now girlfriend Sam.

As for Sam, she too began to feel the consequences of dating the world's greatest hero as she too didn't have a good time with paparazzi following her almost everywhere and receiving more far nasty comments from other jealous girls.

In the past, Sam was more or less used to it to be called many things because of her goth and environmental protective believes, sometimes even going so far that she takes drastic measures to either prove her point or change things by force.

But now, with her boyfriend's popularity and him either being busy of fighting ghosts or evading thousands of fans and journalists, the slander against her or bullying by jealous girls had only increased tenfold, maybe even beyond.

Thankfully, with some help from his family, his best friend Tucker (who's now mayor of their hometown Amity Park) and even with help from the government, the heat around Danny and Sam began to cool down.

However, even with months having gone by after the events of the Disasteroid, the effects of all the paparazzi, the slander, the bullying and threats had taken toll on Sam and became thus more overprotective over Danny than ever before, which even began to show signs of obsessiveness and even controlling most of his private life.

Though Danny should've been happier that he and Sam can finally have the private time they need and not being chased most of the time by thousands of fans or journalists, he actually began to feel unhappy as how controlling Sam has become, almost even didn't recognize anymore the Sam he used to know.

Danny, now in his ghost-form, flew over Amity Park at night, having started his usual daily patrol. He looks down at the town's square, where a huge statue of him was being placed months back.

Danny sighs with some sadness as he began to land in front of the statue and looks at it for a moment, thinking back how things used to be before he revealed his secret identity.

He shook his head while telling himself, "I should be happy by now, but why am I not?" he groans while rubbing his face "Damn it! Maybe revealing my secret identity to the whole world wasn't such a good idea? Then maybe… things could've been better."

Danny sat on a couch, deciding to transform back into his human form while still looking at the statue of himself.

After a few minutes, he gave a long sigh and stared up at the night sky. He stared at the stars and the moon for a long time, not even caring how much time was passing, thinking back of the time before all of this, before he even became a half-ghost, wishing in his mind things could have gone back before all of that. Danny began to even think to perhaps asking Clockwork if he could maybe send him back in time so he can change a few things.

But deep down, Danny knew that that would only lead to more misery, remembering when he traveled back in time to find a cure for the ecto-acne, which caused accidentally to have his father becoming a half-ghost instead of Vlad Masters.

"No…" Danny told himself. "Though I want that, more than anything… there is no going back."

That was when Valerie Gray, another friend of Danny, wearing her newly improved ghost-hunter suit with ecto-nanotechnology and using her newly upgraded flying board thanks to some improvements by the Fentons, flew above the town's square, spotting Danny down below.

After Valerie lands down, she pressed the specially designed watch on her wrist which deactivating her board and suit and all folded extremely fast till they were microscopic small that disappeared into the watch.

Danny saw her and simply said, "Hey, Val." Before looking down with a depressed look on his face.

Valerie, feeling sorry for him, walked over to him. "Hey, Danny. Why are you down here? I thought you would be on patrol by now?"

"I was," Danny stated with a depressed voice without even looking at her. "I just… I just needed some time alone."

Valerie sat next to him. "You want to talk about it?"

Danny didn't say anything, like in a way he's too scared to talk about it.

"Is it about Sam?" she guessed.

Valerie has seen Sam fiercely arguing with Danny after he'd shown only a minute late for their date, accusing him of lots of things and only uses him fighting ghosts as an excuse to get away from her. Valerie had clearly seen signs of Sam being overly obsessive and controlling, not even caring about his boundaries. She began to worry about him as she could see he was feeling more miserable the last few months.

Danny looked away when Valerie asked that.

Valerie puts her hand on his shoulder. "Danny, I'm worrying about you."

Danny still didn't say anything, feeling it would be wrong to speak ill about his girlfriend.

Valerie didn't want to force Danny to talk about it but also didn't like him seeing miserable. Though she used to have feelings for Danny, which she buried as he was with Sam, it pained her to see Danny like this.

"It's…" Danny said, breaking the silence.

Valerie waited for him what was bothering him.

"I just… wish things could back the way they were before."

Valerie shoved a bit closer to him.

Danny didn't mind as he could use someone right now to talk to about his problems. "Before the Disasteroid… and… after that… Sam used to be…" he shook his head "I don't know… It's like I don't recognize her anymore." He then looks at Valerie, asking her with some sadness in his voice, "Is it because of me that our relationship doesn't turn out the way I hoped it would be? Am I to blame for Sam to have turning into… into…" he held the last word from escaping his mouth, feeling it was wrong to say that about Sam.

Valerie ensured him while rubbing his back "Tell me."

"I just… wished she… would be the Sam I knew before all of that. Supportive… Kind… and… knowing my boundaries… and…"

Valerie truly didn't have to be a genius to see that clearly his relationship with Sam had turned into something toxic because of Sam's new overly obsessive and controlling behavior.

"It's my fault, Val…!" Danny said as a sob escaped his mouth. "It's my fault Sam turned like that. I should've put more effort or-or just…"

Valerie, feeling his pain, held his cheeks and said with a bit of serious but very caring tone, "Danny, listen to me! You're not responsible for what Sam is. Nothing is not your fault! If you tell that yourself that you are, you… you will be miserable all your life! You're a good person, Danny! Never let anyone tell you you're not!"

Then, Valerie gave a small gasp as she saw a tear falling from his eye. Her heart sank and instantly hugs him.

The feeling of her being there for him, Danny bursts in tears and hugs her back, crying on Valerie's shoulder.

"Shhh…" Valerie softly said, comforting him. "It's okay, Danny… Let it all out. I'm here for you."

Danny shook his head while he still cried, finally letting out all of his emotions and pain. "I can't do this anymore, Val…! Sam, she… I just… can't handle it anymore!"

"Danny…" Valerie felt so sorry for him, causing her own eyes to get teary, as she could only imagine how much pain had been build up in him because of all the stress of both being the world's savior and his now toxic relationship with Sam.

They remained in each other's arms for what seemed like hours.

Then finally, after Danny had calmed down a bit, with dry tears down his cheeks, he looks into Valerie's eyes.

She softly rubs his cheek and said, "You're not alone, Danny. I'm here for you."

Danny forms a small smile. "Thank you, Valerie…"

She smiles back and hugs him again.

Knowing that things like this can't go on for Danny, she told him, hoping he would take it well, "Danny… I think you really should talk to Sam."

Danny looked a bit surprised and scared.

"I-I know it seems like a bad idea, but… If you just go to her and talk with her about what you truly feel, telling her what you've been going through all this while, maybe… maybe things can improve, if you only just go and talk to her."

"I…" Danny looks sad again "I don't know…"

Suddenly, his phone rang the ringtone which made Danny again very uncomfortable. He checked his pocket, seeing it was Sam who was calling him.

Danny sighs deep, praying deep in his mind that she wouldn't use her usual controlling tone.

He picks it up. "He-Hello, Sam?"

"DANNY, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" Sam yelled through the phone "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON PATROL LOOKING FOR ESCAPED GHOSTS AND THERE'S A BUNCH OF WOLF-GHOSTS ROAMING AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD! YOU NEED TO COME OVER HERE, NOW!"

Hearing her yelling at him again was hurting Danny emotionally, wishing this torture would just end. He looks at Valerie for a moment, who gave him a nod.

"Danny? Are you there?! I'M TALKING TO YOU!" Sam demands through the phone.

Danny takes a deep breath and tells with a bit discomfort, "Sam… we need to talk."

Sam groans with annoyance through the phone. "Again with this?! I told you: We're not taking that step into our relationship until I'm feeling more comfortable! Gosh, why can't you use your brain for once?!"

Danny, feeling sad and angry, but kept himself in control, repeated himself. "I said TALK, Sam."

Sam was quiet for a moment till she said, "Oh… Okay. Geez, you don't have to yell at me like that. We'll talk later, but first come over to my street as those wolf-ghosts are tearing people's cars apart, NOW!" and hanged up the phone.

Danny sighs deep.

Valerie, as she could hear clearly how loud Sam was yelling in Danny's ear through the phone, frowns at how emotionally abusive Sam was reacting towards him.

Danny stood up and said sadly, "I… got to go. Duty calls."

But just as Danny was about to go ghost, Valerie stands up and ensures him while putting her hand on his shoulder "No. You just go and rest. I'll deal with those ghosts."

Danny looks surprised at her.

When Valerie activates her suit and board, having been fully dressed up in less than a second and her flying board reappeared, she ensures Danny, "Trust me. I think you need a bit of a time out after this."

Danny forms a small smile. "Thank you, Val."

"You're welcome," she said while stepping on her board and told him, "Just remember, Danny. Your friends and your family are here for you. I'm… here for you."

Danny gave her a nod.

Valerie then flies off, ready to deal with the ghost-wolfs

After she'd disappeared from sight, Danny looks down sadly before transforming into Danny Phantom and flew into the other direction, going back home.

Meanwhile, with Sam…

While the 4 ghost-wolfs were demolishing an hotdog food truck in order to eat some delicious hotdogs, Sam hide behind the corner, looking frustrated as Danny hasn't arrived yet to deal with these animal ghosts.

"Oh, c'mon, Danny! What's taking you so long?" she angrily asked herself while checking her watch, seeing 5 minutes had passed since she called Danny "Usually he's here much faster."

Then, Valerie flew down on her hoverboard, firing several lasers blasts at the ghost-wolves! The ghost-wolves all look surprised before making a run for it!

Valerie then tossed 3 red-glowing grenades at the ghost-wolves, and when they exploded, releasing a kind of ecto-electrical shock, the ghost-wolves all paralyzed and fell on the ground motionless!

Using this moment now that the wolves were knocked out, Valerie took out her Thermos. "And the hunter caught its prey!" and captures all the 4 ghost-wolves in it before sealing it off with the cover.

Sam looked surprised to see Valerie coming, before she frowned and came out where she was hiding, marching towards Valerie and demanded to know, "Val? What are you doing here? Where's Danny?"

Valerie glares back at Sam and told her as she shrugs, "Danny had something else to do. I'm just here to fill in for him."

"Fill in for him?" Sam asks suspicious, "That's not what he told me!" she grabs her phone and dialed Danny's number "I'm gonna call him and ask-"
But before she could even press the button to call Danny, Valerie snatches her phone out of her hand, telling her with a serious face, "No! You're not going to put more pressure on him! He's been under enough stress already."

Sam got angry that Valerie dared to take her phone and putting her nose into her relationship "What do you care? Danny's not your boyfriend!"

"You're right. Danny's not my boyfriend, but at least I'm there for him when he actually needs it. Far more than you can, Manson." Valerie said with anger in her voice.

That made Sam furious and tried to grab back her phone. "You give that back, right now, bitch!"

But because Valerie was much stronger, thanks to all the intense training she's been undergoing ever since she became a ghost hunter when Vlad gave her her anti-ghost weapons, pushed Sam backwards, making her hit the ground!

Valerie then tossed Sam's phone in the air and used her wrist-laser gun to blow it up in the air!

Sam's gasps in shock before turning back to her angry mode "You… MY PHONE! YOU DESTROYED MY PHONE, BITCH!"

"Danny needs his rest and he won't be with you constantly controlling and yelling at him." Valerie said with a serious face.

Though Sam knew she would be no match for Valerie, she angrily told her, "Has no one ever taught you to never mind other people's business?!"

Valerie flew up with her hoverboard with her arms crossed. "When it comes to people I care about, then it IS my business, Samantha Manson. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a town to protect."

As Valerie flew away, Sam yells out loud to her, "YOU OWN ME A NEW PHONE, BITCH!"

"You're filthy rich, Samantha. You can get a new one easily within a minute." Valerie countered while leaving the area.

Sam exploded with fury, like Mount Sam was about to erupt like a super volcano "GRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" but then leaves the street, going back to her place.

However, while flying, Valerie mentally told herself while she shook her head. 'What has happened to her? She's not the same Sam we all used to know.' that made her to think, making herself form a determined look on her face 'But for Danny's sake, I'm not letting her near him so she can emotionally abuse him again!' that last line made her blush.

While patrolling Amity Park, Valerie began to think that maybe her feelings for Danny were beginning to resurface. Deep down, she hoped it wasn't true as it could possibly ruin their friendship or makes things between him and Sam even worse.

Later, at Fenton Words…

Danny was laying in his bed but wasn't asleep. Instead, he was looking at some pictures of him and Sam when they were just started dating after he was declared the world's greatest hero, seeing some heartwarming moments between them when they got the chance to go out.

Danny sighed sadly, wishing it would be just like in the beginning as he scrolled through the photos, seeing himself in the pictures feeling more and more unhappy despite he tried to hide it. But his eyes in the photos told a different story, like showing he wasn't happy in his relationship.

He puts the pictures back in the drawer of his nightstand and tries to get some sleep.

But it was hard for him to fall asleep. He felt such guilt inside him, feeling himself powerless. If he was too scared to talk with Sam about what he feels, how does he expect himself to protect Amity Park from the ghosts, or the world? He felt so much on his shoulders, so much the world expects of him to be.

Tears formed in Danny's eyes.

However, outside, a few streets away from Fenton Works, a green-glowing rift suddenly opened between dimensions, revealing a doorway to the Ghost-Zone. From the rift, the genie-ghost Desiree flew out of it before the rift between the human world and the Ghost-Zone closed.

Desiree evilly chuckles as she was able to bypass the anti-ghost security systems of the Fenton Portal to sneak into the human world. "Hahahaha. Ahhh, finally free to roam the human world again. And fulfill more wishes to regain my power." She looks around, trying to find a new victim to fulfill his or hers wishes. "So many humans, so little time. And when I'm done, that ghost-kid will pay for countless humiliations I had to endure and ruin my plans."

Desiree flew off, looking for any human fools to grant their dumb wishes.

The next day at Casper High…

When Danny arrived at school with Tucker and Valerie, Tucker noticed Danny's tired and bit of depressed look.

"Hey, you okay, dude?" he asked him.

Danny sighs. "I'm fine, Tucker."

"You sure?" Tucker asks with a raised eyebrow "You look like you haven't slept that much last night."

"Tucker," Valerie said with a serious face, "just leave it."

Tucker blinks his eyes, being confused. But before he could ask, he was called on his PDA, seeing it was his assistant from the Town Hall.

"Excuse me for a moment," Tucker said while taking the call. "Yo, yo, yo! Mayor Tucker here! What's up, Stephanie?" but as he listened to how important it is "U-hum. Yeah… Aha… Aha… Okay, I'll take a look at it after school." And hanged up the call.

"Sorry, that was my assistant," Tucker stated to his friends, "Something about a problem with the fire departments budget and the upcoming carnival next week," he then showed a smile of confidence. "Nothing I can't handle."

As the entered the school, Danny asks him, "I never actually asked this, but… how the heck did you manage to get yourself elected mayor in the first place?"

Tucker looked at him surprised. "Really? You're asking me now? I thought you already knew?"

"Well, I don't. And clearly I had my mind full of avoiding paparazzi and crazy female fans," Danny stated while he frowns but then sighs sadly as how hard it was for him in the beginning and still feels the same cause of Sam.

Tucker then stated, "Well, believe it or not, turned out there is a loophole in the town's rules when it comes to electing a mayor. You see, since Amity Park was founded in 1842, the people back then already considered you good enough for politics when you turn 14, which technically makes it for me to legally run for mayor. And since today they had kinda 'forgotten' to change that rule here, there was nothing they could do about it as I was already in office."

"That…" Valerie said with a surprise "…makes a lot of sense."

Tucker shrugs while he smiles.

As they walked down the hallway to their lockers, Danny was suddenly stopped by Dash, the biggest bully in all of High School. But ever since Danny's rise to stardom, Dash and the other members of their popular A-Listers group had stopped picking on him and his friends. In fact, Dash has become more friendlier towards him in his attempt to convince Danny to join their group.

"Hey, Danny!" Dash said with a smile and puts his arm around him. "How you are doing, pal?"

Danny shrugs "Uhm… fine, I guess."

"Great, man! Great!" Dash hugs him and tells him, "Listen, me and the guys are planning to go out tonight. Why don't you come and join us? With your ghost powers it'll be waaay more fun."

Danny however shook his head and turns himself intangible and phases out from his arm "Not now, Dash. Maybe another time." He said with a depressed sound in his voice.

Dash blinked his eyes surprised as Danny phased right through his arm, but stopped him in his tracks, hoping he would reconsider. "Ahh, c'mon now, Danny! You have a chance to be one of us. The cool kids! Isn't this what you always wanted?"

Danny bypassed Dash, looking uninterested to join the A-Listers. "At first I did. But now, not anymore, Dash."

"Why not?" Dash asked him in an almost begging voice and told while Danny opened his locker "You have a chance to make your life at high school the best part of your life! Just think what you could achieve?! You can hang out with the hottest cheerleaders, have a better shot to join the Football team and you'll be adored by every girl more than ever!"

Danny just wanted to leave as he had enough on his head already and quickly took his books. "Dash, please, just leave me alone!" and slams his locker shut, heading to his first class.

Dash just stood there, stunned, surprised how Danny could be so uninterested in his offer to finally join the A-Listers after numerous failed attempts to ask him as he was either prevented to come near him by some 'unexplained' ghostly power, another ghost attack or by Danny's goth girlfriend, Sam.

"What's bugging him?" Dash asked Valerie and Tucker.

Valerie angrily rolled her eyes and told him, "You really are a fucking dumbass, you know that? You and the others have been bullying him for years and the only reason you suddenly want to be friends with him is only because he's a world celebrity."

Dash shrugs "Wel, that's how fame works, right? And imagine all the fun we can have by putting more nerds into their place."

Valerie disappointingly shook her head. "Listen here, Dash Baxter, no matter whatever you'll achieve after graduation, everyone will remember you what you really are. A heartless bully and asshole who has no concern for anyone except yourself! And frankly, I don't think you'll ever achieve something good in your life, other than putting nerds into lockers or beating up innocent kids."

Dash felt hurt that Valerie said that. He frowns at her, trying to defend himself. "Oh yeah? Well… you bullied him too when you were still one of us!"

"Maybe I did," she began to leave with Tucker "but unlike you, I grew up. But I doubt you ever will, Baxter."

Dash just stood there in shock what Valerie told him. Normally, if anyone ever tried to talk to him that way he would teach that student a lesson together with his jock buddies, but with Danny known to have been Danny Phantom al along, Dash couldn't risk to prank or bully his friends as he would no doubt do something with his ghost powers to them.

Dash began to think as he left, leaving the serious words of Valerie behind him. "I'm gonna have to try harder to convince Fenton to finally join the A-Listers." As he bypassed a nerd carrying a pile of books in his hands, Dash made the nerd trip just to blow off some steam.

As Danny walked up the stairs, Valerie and Tucker caught up to him, with Tucker asking him confused, "Dude! You seriously turned down Dash's offer to finally join the cool kids? What gives?"

Valerie however told Tucker very serious, "Just let it go, Tucker."

That was when they met with Sam when they reached the second floor, looking angry while folding her arms "Let what go?" she demanded.

Valerie immediately glared at her while Danny became a bit scared, wishing that he wouldn't find her this time at school.

Sam grabbed Danny's arm. "Can I have a minute?" and dragged him with her.

Valerie hated Sam even more after last night, to watch her controlling Danny and imagining how bad she's been treating him lately.

Tucker on the other hand was a bit clueless and wandered, "Geez, Sam must be mad about something," but then shrugs. "Happens all the time in almost any relationship."

Valerie glared at Tucker "Are you really that blind, Tucker?!"

Tucker looks at Valerie confused while blinking his eyes "What do you mean?"

"Have you never noticed any 'red flags' in their toxic relationship?"

"Toxic?" Tucker asks even more confused, but stated, "Look, Danny and Sam are my friends, okay? And I don't like being the third wheel in their relationship. They deserve at least some privacy." But then asks her, "But what do you mean Danny and Sam's relationship is toxic?"

Valerie sighs and took somewhere more privately so nobody could hear them, telling him what Danny told her last night and Valerie suspects that Sam has been emotionally abusing Danny for months. Tucker couldn't believe his ears as that sounded nothing like the Sam he knew, although she was a bit controlling sometimes, she never acted like how Valerie describes it. But when Tucker hears how much his relationship with Sam hurts him and even shedding tears, Tucker was completely surprised by this, wandering why Danny never told him about this or anyone else.

Back with Danny and Sam, she demanded as they were around another corner, near their class, "Okay, Danny, where were you really last night?!"

"Sam… I-"

"Why are you escaping your responsibilities?! You have a town, no… the whole world to protect from ghosts!" Sam almost yells at him but accuses him, "Are you seeing anyone else?!"

"What? No! I'm not, I just…"

"Just what, Danny?! What could've been so goddamn more important than stopping some ghost-wolves you can easily overpower?!" Sam yells even louder, "Why are you being such a pussy lately, Danny?! You have all the power in the world, but you rather spend it time on someone else!"

"I'm not seeing anyone else, Sam…" Danny tried to explain, though Sam's words hurt him more as she kept humiliation her "I just… needed some… time alone."

"Time alone? That's your fucking excuse?!" Sam yells and hit him on the shoulder "You're the greatest hero on earth and you walk away from your responsibilities because you simply NEEDED TIME ALONE!? God! Grow some spine, Danny Fenton!"

Danny wanted to shut his ears, wanting her to stop 'Please… stop it, Sam. Please… stop yelling at me…' he begged in his mind. He walked away.

"Hey! HEY! I'M TALKING TO YOU, FENTON!" Sam calls him back, or rather ordering him to come back "DANNY, COME BACK HERE! DON'T YOU…" but he kept walking.

Sam grind her teeth and wanted to go after him, but a hand was placed on Sam's shoulder. Surprised, she looks, seeing it was their teacher, Mr. Lancer, looking at her with narrowing eyes.

"Don't you have classes to follow, Miss Manson?" Lancer asks.

Sam puts Lancer's hand off her and said with venom in her voice "I have a free period, so I don't have to go to class now." She walks away, heading to either the library or the courtyard just to prevent Lancer from tutoring her to take her classes seriously.

Lancer however, having overheard Sam yelling at Danny, causing him to walk away, made Lancer to think what was going on between them.

A couple of hours later…

When it was lunchtime, Danny sat at a table with Tucker and Valerie, with everyone having macaroni and cheese. Danny just poked his food with his fork, not taking a bite as he has so much on his mind.

Tucker looked worried at his best friend. After what Valerie told him, he needed to know from him if it's true that Sam has been abusive towards him "Uhm… so, Danny? Valerie and I talked and-"

His words were cut when Sam arrived in the cafeteria, scanning around to find her boyfriend as she clearly wasn't done with him. Danny gasps and immediately turned invisible, hiding somewhere in the corner.

Sam marched to Valerie and Tucker, asking very seriously "Okay, where is he?"

"Uhm…" Tucker said nervously "Who, Sam?"

"Danny! Who else would I be fucking talking about!" Sam very angrily said, which even made Tucker scared.

Valerie stood up, having had enough of her "Sam! Hasn't it ever occurred to you what you're doing to him? How much you're hurting him?! How much of a controlling bitch you really are?!"

"What did you just call me?" Sam asks surprised before she frowns.

"You heard me, you fucking heartless controlling bitch!"

Sam walks up to her, staring her in the face, warning her with a fierce glare, "You better back off, Valerie Gray. Danny is my boyfriend and I'm not letting anyone else telling me how to run my relationships."

"Clearly you need some extra education when it comes to healthy relationships, shallow hippy."

The commotion between the two girls caught everyone's attention in the cafeteria. Tucker however became very nervous, hoping this won't turn into a physical fight as both girls glared as if they were about to melt each other's face off.

Danny, who'd been watching and listening the whole time, forms a smile that Valerie was there to defend him.

"I'm the best thing Danny could ever ask from a girlfriend," Sam said, "And there's no one else who knows him better than I do!"

"Then clearly you don't know his true feelings at all, Mason!" Valerie fired back as she won't let Sam hurt Danny that way ever again. "You, who have been controlling him since the day he got his powers, being a lousy friend and also a very heartless girlfriend to him. Some great girlfriend you are not."

Sam clenched her fists, ready to throw the hands on her "You wanna throw down, bitch?"

"Bring it on, shallow hippy." Valerie said while clenching her own firsts, clearly not scared to fight Sam as she's faced far worse than her.

The other students formed around them in a big circle, cheering as they yelled "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"

But before the both of them could throw the first punch, Danny appears and yells "ENOOOUGH!" he almost was on the brink to scream his Ghostly-Wail as his eyes glowed green.

Everyone looked in shock where Danny reappeared. But Danny didn't mind them and marched up to Sam.

"There you are!" Sam said while folding her arms "You and I-"

"We need to talk, Sam." Danny said with a very serious face, surprising Sam. "Now." He left the cafeteria, with Sam following.

While the other students rushed to get a glimpse of the famous couple of Casper High arguing, Danny was one step ahead of them and created a Ghost field at the door, preventing the others from leaving as he really doesn't need that as he was serious to talk with Sam privately.

Valerie and Tucker exchanged a worrying glance.

Paulina however thought and asks Star, "You think they're going to break up?"

Star shrugs "Maybe," then her eyes sparkled with joy "If so, we finally have a chance to go out with the ghost boy!"

Danny led Sam behind the school, near the football field where nobody was.

Sam, not giving Danny a chance to start, said fiercely, "Listen here, Danny! When I'm talking to you, you're not just gonna walk away from me! Do you understand?!"

Danny stood there, not looking at her while crossing his arms.

"Helloooo! Earth to Danny!? Talk to me!" Sam yells, finding it very impolite of him not paying attention to her "SAY SOMETHING!"

"I can't do this anymore, Sam."

Hearing those words made Sam look in shock "Wha… what do you mean?"

Danny shook his head and looks back at her, very serious while also showing a mixture of anger and sadness on his face. "Did you ever truly love me? Or did you only loved to control me the entire time when I became a halfa?"

Sam dismissed that, "You really blind, Danny? I CARE ABOUT YOU! TO PREVENT YOU FROM TURNING INTO-"

"Turning into something that you dislike?" Danny guessed "What a surprise." He rolled his eyes "I never thought that it was you who was the real problem around here."

Sam felt offended by that "Me the problem? All what I've done was trying to protect you!"

"FROM WHAT?!" Danny yelled, which shocked Sam "You never truly cared about me or truly loved me! All you ever did was controlling me and deciding what I should do with my life and with my powers!"

"Because I'm the only one around here who has some common sense around here!"

"Common sense? COMMON SENSE?!" Danny asks very fiercely, "All that you have done was yelling at me, humiliating me and treat me like a piece of shit! All you've ever done was always using force to make the world, the school, your friends and your boyfriend only into YOUR OWN LIKING!" Danny shook his head "What happened to you, Sam? Where's the Sam I used to know before ALL OF THIS?"

Sam was silent, not believing that Danny told and asked her all of this.

Danny sighs and looks away as his eyes began to get teary "Or did my fame and my powers eventually showed the real person you are?"

"Danny… All I did for you was-"

"Turning me into your own liking, not caring about my own feelings!" Danny finished her sentence.

"I do care about your goddamn feelings!" Sam yells.

"Oh yeah?" Danny turns back to her "DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I FEEL RIGHT NOW?! I feel… angry that you didn't turn out the girl I thought you were and used me for your own benefits. I feel extremely sad cause of the way you've been treating me over the past few months! Everything… I mean, EVERYTHING I did for you, me trying to make this relationship work, and trying to make actually time for you… It was never enough for you. I decide what to do with these powers! This is my life… not yours!"

Sam couldn't believe her ears what Danny said to her, making her angry "Your life? Let me remind you, Danny Fenton, the only reason you have ghost powers is because of me! And where would you be without me?! The only reason you ever survived is because of me! How many times did I saved your life?! How many times have I helped you to control your powers?! You never became the hero you are WITHOUT ME!"

Danny's eyes glowed green, having had enough of Sam as all he could feel about her was only hurt… and no love.

"We're done, Sam."

Sam blinked her eyes. "What did you say?"

He glared back at her, telling with a heavy heart "I'm done with you, Sam…!"

"What?"

"Every feeling I ever had for you… is dead." He then looks away again.

Sam was in total shock "You… You're breaking up with me?"

Danny gave a nod, not even looking at her "YES! I'm… breaking up. I can't live like this, Sam… not with you around. Not as a friend or anything else! I want you… out of my life."

No word escaped Sam's mouth. She just stood there in total shock.

"I don't want you come near me or near my house… not even trying to contact me…!" Danny said as tears fell from his eyes.

Danny then walks away, leaving Sam, not even looking back.

"Danny…! No…!" tears began to fall from Sam's eyes, but then turned very angry "FINE! THEN YOU JUST… GO AND… WASTE YOUR FUCKING LIFE WITH ALL THE TOXIC FAME AND… EVERY FAN-WHORE YOU COME BY!" she angrily pulled the glass ring she got from Danny. "YOU WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER GIRL LIKE ME, DANNY FENTON! EVER!" and threw the glass ring hard at Danny, only for him to turn intangible and the glass ring flew right through him, falling down his feet.

Sam ran away, leaving the school grounds while she sobs.

Danny stops, looking down at the glass ring. He picks it up and looks at it. He remembered when his father gave it to him, telling him that it shows a girl how special she is to him. Danny closes his eyes, feeling angry, sad and stupid to think that Sam was the right girl for him.

Danny got very angry while tears fell from his eyes and dropped it on the ground, attempting to stump on it till it breaks, but only managed to break the glass amulet on it. He sighs before transforming into his ghost form and flies away, wanting to be alone.

Valerie and Tucker, who both somehow managed to escape Danny's ghost-field, ran outside, only to see Danny leaving the school.

Tucker and Valerie exchanged a worried glance, having heard all the yelling before arriving, thinking that Danny and Sam had truly ended their relationship.

"We have to go after him." Tucker suggests, but Valerie stops him.

"No," Valerie shook her head "He… needs some time alone." she then finds something shiny on the ground. When picking it up, she noticed it was the glass ring Danny gave to Sam when they began dating but the glass amulet now shattered.

Valerie felt bad for Danny as she watched where he'd left.

Hours later, somewhere in the outskirts of Amity Park…

Danny, still in his ghost form, lay on the roof of an empty building. He hadn't even moved an inch from where hey lay ever since he'd arrived at this place he'd never really been to. Danny didn't care as he just wanted to be alone and nobody to bother him.

After he'd received dozens of messages from either Tucker, Valerie or Jazz, he puts his PDA off, not wanting to talk to anybody or tell where he is. He didn't even bother going back to school. Though that would probably earn him some detention, Danny just didn't care.

Breaking off with Sam was so hard for him to do. But somehow, he felt a bit of relief of finally having the courage to tell her what he truly feels and that he'd cast her out of his life. However, he also felt guilt, pain and sadness of being so stupid not to see what kind of a person Sam truly was and allowing her to take advantage of his kindness and fame as Danny Phantom to always get her way. He also thought back of the great memories he shared with her and Tucker when they were still friends.

Danny felt as if his whole world fell apart. He'd told himself that he couldn't imagine a life without Sam. But now… he wasn't sure about that. All of this made him so sad, feeling his heart had been truly ripped apart, even worse than what he felt after Ember put that love-spell on him last year.

"Dammit…!" Danny yelled "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! DAMMIT!" and in his anger, he shoots a powerful ghost-ray, blowing off a large section of the roof!

Normally, Danny would've been shocked to have destroyed 'city property', but right now, he didn't give a damn. Although, the amount of anger he unleashed because of what he's being going through in his head did shock him. This was the part where people would say: With great power comes great responsibility.

He decided to leave, doing something else to distract himself long enough.

Meanwhile, at Fenton Works…

Maddie was on the phone with Mr. Lancer, with him saying that Danny hasn't been at school since lunch break and wandered if he was okay, asking if it maybe had to do with another ghost attack

"No, Danny hasn't come home at all and there hasn't been any ghost attack. And if so, me and my husband would've known." Maddie explained, forming a look of worry as she would know about any ghost attacks since she and Jack had upgraded the ghost-warning systems ever since the Disasteroid 6 months back.

"I see," Lancer said through the phone "Well, whatever is bothering him, please let him know that I wish to speak to him."

"Why?" Maddie asked, becoming suspicious "Is Danny causing trouble at school?"

"No, no problems, Mrs. Fenton. It's something else about Danny that caught my attention." Lancer states, "I think it has something to do between him and Miss Manson."

"Sam?" Maddie asks surprised. She hadn't expected to hear that it had to do with his relationship with Sam as he always said things are great between them "What about it?"

"Mrs. Fenton," Lancer told "I believe that there is something else going on in their relationship. Something very troubling which I believe causes a lot of… stress and tension between them."

Maddie was completely confused as she hadn't even seen any signs that their relationship was on edge. "I… I see. Well, okay… As soon as we find him, me and my husband will talk to him."

"Thank you, Mrs. Fenton." Lancer said before hanging up the phone.

Maddie had to get to the bottom of this. She walked down to the lab where Jack was busy with another invention.

"Check this out, Maddie!" Jack said with a proud smile, showing what looked like the usual Fenton Gauntlets but with several more upgrades "I present to you, The Fenton Gauntlets 2.0! Much power powerful than the first Fenton Gauntlets and lighter."

"Jack, Danny is gone!" Maddie said worriedly.

That made Jack's proudly smile disappear as he raises an eyebrow at his wife. But then shrugs and smiles again "Ah, don't worry, Maddie. He's probably out, fighting ghosts again."

"That's just it, Jack. Did you receive any signals of any ghost attacks around town?"

Jack began to think "Uhm…" he scratched his head "Now that you're mentioning it, no. I didn't received anything."

That was when Jazz came home and yells, "Danny! Are you home?!" She runs upstairs, not finding him in his bedroom.

Jazz sighs, figuring she wouldn't find him at home.

"Jazz, honey?" Maddie calls to her daughter as she came back into the living room from the lab, having heard her coming home "Did something bad happened to Danny at school? Mr. Lancer just called and said something happened between him and Sam."

Jazz sighs as walks down the stairs, entering the living room "They broke up, mom."

This shocked Maddie "What?! They did? Why?"

Jazz sadly shook her head. "I don't know, mom…" she sits on the couch, feeling sad as she didn't see it coming "I should've known that something was off, but… I just completely ignored all the signs!"

"What signs?" Maddie asks, becoming worried, thinking back what Lancer said about tension growing between Danny and Sam. "Please, honey, tell me."

Jazz thought only a few seconds about it. She wasn't the kind of person to just tell her own conclusions what was going on between Sam and her little brother.

"Maybe… it's better for Danny to tell himself."

"But Jazz…! What if something's happened to him?!" Maddie says in a worriedly motherly way.

"Mom," Jazz ensures "Though I'm worried as well, he'll be fine. He has ghost powers after all, and he just needs some time off. He'll probably be back in a couple of hours."

Jazz then walks away, going up the stairs to her room.

Maddie sat on one of the chairs, wandering what was truly going on, causing Danny and Sam to split as she had always thought, maybe everyone, that he and Sam were meant for each other.

"Danny… I hope you're alright…" Maddie prayed to herself, hoping that Danny is okay.

That evening, 9:15 PM

Valerie flew with her hoverboard high above Amity Park, looking for Danny. In fact, as the word had spread fast across town about their ghost hero Danny Phantom to have 'disappeared' after having a fierce argument with his now ex-girlfriend, many citizens were out to look for their savior.

As Valerie stops midair and thinks out loud, "Okay, if I were Danny and I wanted to stay away from everyone after having a hard breakup, where would I be?"

She the flew around the outskirts and suburbs of Amity Park, using her ghost scanner in the hopes of locating Danny. After a short time of searching, she got a signal coming from the harbor.

When reaching the harbor, the signal was getting stronger at an old pier that no ship used anymore, spotting a familiar white-haired boy sitting on one of the wooden pier pillars, giving her some relief of finally having found him.

"Danny…?"

Danny looks back at her. "Oh… Hi, Valerie…"

"I've been looking all over for you." Valerie said as she sat next to him.

Danny shrugs while looking away "Yeah… who wouldn't? Bet the whole town… the whole world already knows, huh? About me and Sam?"

Knowing that new things changing around Danny's would reach everyone in Amity Park by now, Valerie didn't know how to answer that, but said, "Well… the whole school knows… and everyone in Amity Park."

Danny sigh as he frowns "Great. That makes me feel 'a lot' better."

"It's not only just that, Danny," Valerie states, "Tucker and your family were starting to get worried too."

Danny didn't say anything and just looked up the night sky, depressed.

Valerie didn't want to push him, figuring he needs more time alone. She stood up and took her hoverboard "I'll… leave you alone, then…"

"Valerie… wait…" Danny tells her before she could leave.

Valerie turns herself, seeing that he doesn't want her to leave, making her form a small relieving smile.

She sits next to him and hugs him, which he returned. Danny gave a small sob.

Valerie softly rubs his back "It's okay, Danny… I'm here for you…"

Not long after, in the neighborhood near Sam's house…

The genie-ghost, Desiree appeared, phasing out of a house. She frowns while looking at her glowing hand after just have granted someone's wish.

"What kind of dumb and stupid wishes are these?!" she annoyingly told herself as for the past few days she only managed to grant a few people's wishes, which were not even this big ones that would give her more power, but rather small and humble wishes which didn't gave her the boost she was looking for. "What kind of man would simply wish for a small birthday present while he could've wished for fame or wealth?! At this rate, I won't be even half as strong when I faced Danny Phantom the last time!"

When thinking how to get some deserved payback on the ghostboy and savior of the world (and ghosts too as he had technically also saved the Ghost-Zone from the Disasteroid), Desiree wanders why she still hasn't crossed paths with him.

"How odd. That ghost kid and his ghost hunter parents would've found me hours ago by now, but still, nothing." Desiree asks herself, wandering why neither Danny or any of the Fenton family had managed to locate her yet. But that made her form a determined smirk "Ah well. Gives me more time to grant some 'actual wishes' and become strong enough to enact my revenge!" then she looks around, looking for a new human to grant a wish "But where am I going to find some stupid mortals to grant wishes?"

As she flies up, she became frustrated of not finding anyone in the streets. She phased into a few houses, but only found some children sleeping in their beds or adults either watching tv or doing other stuff.

When Desiree flew into the home belonging to Lancer, she spots the vice-principal sitting on his big chair in front of the tv, watching a movie while eating chips and popcorn in hand from two bowls. Lancer then noticed that all his popcorn were already finished. He sighs before telling himself, "I wished I had some more popcorn in this bowl."

Desire frowns when Lancer made that small wish 'Oh, you've got to be kidding me! But a wish is a wish.' She told herself before flicking her fingers, causing Lancer's bowl to be full of freshly made popcorn again.

Lancer looks in surprise that he suddenly has more popcorn. But then shrugs and continued eating while watching the movie on tv.

Desiree phased out of the house.

"C'mon!" she yells in frustrations "Stop with these small foolish wishes and give me someone who wants an actual wish!" that was when she noticed the big house nearby that belongs to Sam "Hey, that's the house of that Danny Phantom's goth girlfriend."

She was unsure to go there as Sam was a tough opponent if she has her hands on some anti-ghost gadgets but gave it a try. Desire became tangible and phases into Sam's house, remaining invisible.

Up in Sam's room, a lot of broken things were scattered around the floor, including some ripped apart pictures of her and Danny. In her rage and sadness, Sam had unleashed all her emotions on anything she could find to break in her room, tearing anything of her and Danny together, even ripping apart the dress she used to wear when she and Danny were at the school dance.

Sam was laying on her bed, sobbing with her makeup ruined by her dry tears because she'd cried so much ever since their breakup back at school. She hasn't even left her room ever since and refused to talk to anyone, not even her family.

"Damn you, Danny…!" Sam sobs with a mixture of anger and great sadness "Damn you…! Damn you…! After… after everything I did for you… after… everything we've been through…! Helping you…! All the trouble we went through to finally be together…! And this is how you repay me?!" she punches her pillow hard before crying out loud "God fucking dammit! Why, Danny?! WHYYYYYYY!?"

Desire slowly phases into Sam's room, remaining invisible. She'd heard the whole emotional outburst coming from Sam's room, making her confused. At first, Desiree thought that Sam and Danny had a fight about something, typical teenage stuff, but as she saw the many broken things on the floor and the torn pictures of her and Danny, Desiree thinks 'Wait a minute… Have they… broken up?' she then forms a mischievous smirk 'Well, this certainly sounds very interesting.'

Sam then grabs her pillow and threw it across her room, crying out so many emotions while new tears fell from her eyes. She pants while staring out the window, feeling a rage growing in her she'd never felt before "It's all their fault…! ALL OF THEM!" Sam yells out loud "Those… whore fans… all these people… ghosts… bullies… ALL OF THEM! Because of them all, Danny and I could never be truly together!" she fell on her knees, punching her floor so hard it made her knuckles bleed.

Desire was surprised by Sam's outburst as she'd never seen anyone this heartbroken before.

Sam then says, with her anger blinding her "I wish… I wish…"

Hearing those words made Desire form a big smirk, raising her hands as they glow with her energy, ready to fulfill Sam's wish 'Yes… say it, child! Ooooh, I feel this is going to be a big wish!'

"I wished I had the power…!"

Desiree narrows her eyes when hearing that 'Child, you need to be more specific if I want to grant this wish.'

"The power to… make them all pay!" Sam yells "Destroy anyone who stands between me and Danny! Anyone who's been nothing but bad to us both! Anyone daring to take Danny away from me! All those… FUCKING WHORES AND BULLIES! I WANT… I WANT THEM ALL PAY!"

Desiree's hands glowed brighter, feeling this was the kind of wish she's been waiting for 'Yes…! Say it! Go on! Make the wish more powerful! YES!'

"I WISH…!" she slams the floor hard again "… A POWER THAT WOULD DESTROY ANYONE IN MY WAY! EVEN IF… I HAD TO SELL MY SOUL TO THE DEVIL!"

Hearing that shocked Desiree too the core 'Wait… what?'

"The darkest powers… the ultimate power from the devil himself!"

Desiree became scared 'Oh no…! No, no, child! Anything! Anything but that!'

"I WISHED TO HAVE THE ULTIMATE POWER GRANTED FROM THE DEVIL ITSELF… A POWER FROM…"

Desiree then appears, begging Sam not to ask for THAT kind of wish "No, child! STOOOOP!"

"… FROM THE DEEPEST PITS OF HEEEEEEEEEELL!"

Desiree gasps in horror. Trying with all her might to stop herself… but she's unable to as it is her sole purpose to grant anyone's wish. ANY WISH!

Sam then turns, seeing to her shock Desiree floating behind her. "Desiree?!"

"I…" tears fell from Desiree's eyes, not being able to stop herself "…can't… stop it!" she aims her glowing arms at Sam "So… you've wished it…" a tear fell from her eye, knowing what kind of evil she's about to unleash "…so it… shall be…" a fires a magic beam at Sam!

Sam yells when being hit by Desiree's wishing power "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Then… the ground began to shake heavily! The whole house and floors began to crack!

"Wha… what have you done, Desiree?!" Sam shockingly asks, not knowing what's happening.

Desiree held her hands on her mouth and shook her head, as she'd truly unleashed the powers of hell.

Then… the cracks in the floor began to glow bright red while screams and shrieks were heard from down below, as if they could hear the countless souls crying while suffering in the worst afterlife imaginable! Then, dozens of long demonic black glowing arms came from the floor, grabbing Sam.

"No! Let me go! LET ME GOOOOOO!" Sam begs.

A demonic voice was heard, speaking in an unknown language as the ground cracks completely open, revealing a large opening to Hell itself! From the large opening of Hell's gates, a large black demon shadow appears with glowing yellow eyes, staring with a large evil grin at Sam.

Sam couldn't believe her eyes as she was truly staring at a true demon from Hell. She begs while trying to free herself "NOOO! NOOOOO!" tears fell from her eyes while begging Desiree "Help me! HELP MEEEE!"

Tears fell from Desiree's eyes while floating backwards. She shook her head, begging herself that this wasn't real.

The demon then spoke to Sam "YOU ASKED FOR THE POWER TO DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES. AND THUS, YOUR WISH SHALL BE GRANTED!"

A black/red smoke from Hell started to surround Sam, hurting her greatly "Aaaaah! AAAAAAAAAH!"

"HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA!" The demon evilly laughs while morphing into some kind of black goo.

The black/red smoke then forced Sam to open her mouth wide while she screamed out loud "AAAAAAAAAAAAH-" but her cries were cut when the demonic black goo began to force itself into Sam's mouth!

Desiree couldn't watch this anymore and flees.

As the Hellish goo filled Sam more and more, Sam began to choke on it and couldn't breathe. Her eyes rolled backwards, fearing she was about to die.

But as the whole goo had entered Sam, the long demonic arms released her and returned back to Hell while the crack closes and the whole floor was back to normal while Sam was sitting on the floor motionless on her knees.

A few seconds later a loud shriek escaped Sam as her eyes glowed bright green and a power began to overwhelm her! Her raven black hair turned white, her skin became pale, and her nails grew into green glowing razor-sharp claws!

As the transformation had been completed, Sam gasps while looking down on the floor. No word escaped her mouth, sitting there, emotionless.

But then, she began to chuckle. A large evil smile grew on Sam's face "Hahaha… Hahahaha…! Hahahahaha!" She opened her green glowing eyes, like the demon had completely possessed her "They shall all pay… All who dare to take my Danny away… shall feel Hell's GREATEST WRATH! HAHAHAHAHAHA! BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" she evilly laughs out loud in a now demonic voice.

Desiree, who'd fled a few blocks away, heard the demonic cry from a new evilly turned Sam.

Desiree was horrified as she looks back in fear.

"What have I done…?"

The next day, at Casper High…

Danny walked through the front entrance. He was tired, not only because he didn't sleep that well last night, but also because he was still feeling depressed after yesterday. After Valerie had comforted him after finding him in the harbor, Danny went back home with Valerie joining him. Jazz and his parents were worried about him but were thankful that he was back home.

Danny, with some encouragement from Valerie, began to his family everything, confirming that he and Sam had indeed broke up. But the hard part was was to finally tell them what had been really going on in their relationship the past few months, talking about all the emotional abuse he had to endure in his toxic turned relationship with her. Jack and Maddie were shocked to hear all of this from their son, feeling so stupid of not having noticed what he had to endure this whole time, with Jazz taking this news the hardest. She was the smartest and though there were the signs of emotional abuse, she never took them into consideration or even taking the time to see the truth as she'd fooled herself that it was only stress because of his world fame and dealing with both his ghost powers and protecting the town from evil ghosts.

Though it was so painful for him to finally tell his whole family, they all comforted Danny, showing him that they're for him and help him in anyway through this whole breakup aftermath.

While walking through the hallways, the other students began to whisper, sharing all kinds of gossiping of what they've heard so far after the news of Danny's breakup reached them.

The last thing that Danny had to deal with is more attention now that he's technically single now.

When reaching his locker and wanted to take out his books, Tucker came over to him. "Hey, Danny. Uhm… how are you holding up?" he asks with concern.

Danny shook his head while giving a depressing sigh "Bad."

Tucker felt very stupid of not having known about Sam's abuse towards Danny and told him, "Listen, dude… I'm terribly sorry what happened between you and Sam. If only I had known, then maybe…"

Danny shook his head as he closes his locker. "It doesn't matter now, Tuck. Me and Sam are done. And that's it."

Tucker walks with him together to class. "Hey, look, you don't have to deal with all this breakup all on your own. You still have your family, and your friends; me and Valerie."

Danny didn't say anything and just looks down, feeling very depressed.

Seeing it was no point to push him to talk, Tucker then said, "I understand. You just need some more time. But if you're ready to talk, we're here for ya."

Danny gave a nod "Thanks, Tuck."

Meanwhile, at the other side of school, Sam walked slow into the hallways Casper High School.

When she woke up this morning, Sam had been feeling different, feeling like what happened last night was nothing but a bad dream. But still, she didn't feel like her old self anymore, like all the heartbreaking emotions she was going through were… gone. Now, she felt nothing but emptiness and felt like a cold person far more than usual.

Sam rubs her face 'What's wrong with me…? I don't… feel myself anymore.' She mentally thought.

But then, she was brought out of her thoughts when someone spit on her. She looks and sees it was a red-haired female student wearing a Danny Phantom fan t-shirt, glaring at her.

"Heartless bitch!" she called Sam while moving on.

Sam glares at the girl before moving on, only to be tripped over by another student and fell on the floor.

"Hey!" Sam calls to the one who tripped her, being an African American male student "What's the big idea?!"

"That's what you get for abusing the world's savior, Manson!" he angrily calls her before another student tosses a plastic bowl with spoiled tomato salad in her face.

An anger rose in Sam, making her eyes glow green and her nails began to grow. 'Why… you…!' a demonic voice mentally called in her mind.

Sam gasps and her eyes didn't glow green anymore and her nails back to normal, confused and scared why she suddenly heard that voice in her head.

Someone then grabs Sam's bag and tosses all her books and lunch out of it, scattering it all over the floor before kicking away the bag.

"Danny Phantom hater!" one student called.

"Fucking cunt!" another called before they all left.

Sam shook her head while she groans, trying to gather her stuff "Screw you guys!" she calls them. A pain was felt in her heart, making her gasp and hold her chest, making her pant.

A demonic sound cackled in her mind, making Sam look around her in fear. The cackling echoed in her mind.

Sam heavily shook her head. She took a deep breath, trying to collect her thoughts while collecting her stuff. She stood up with her messed up books and bag in hand and continued walking to her class.

The whole day, Sam had been constantly bothered by the other students. Even the teachers were giving her a nasty look.

When it was lunch break and Sam made it to the cafeteria, every single student glares at her. Sam tried to ignore them and tried to take a serving plate. But as she did, Dale stopped her and asked her very seriously, "The hell you think you're doing?"

Sam narrows her eyes at him "I'm here to take my lunch. What does it look like?"

"You've treated our ghost hero like trash." One student angrily says.

"You can't eat here."

"Excuse me?" Sam asks everyone surprised "You can't just keep me out of here and deny my lunch!"

"Maybe you should've thought about that before abusing Danny Phantom!" Dale tells her fiercely "We're all still alive thanks to him and you repay him by taking advantage of him?"

The other students agreed while one called "Every time things don't go your way; you always find a way to screw things up for everyone!"

"Screw things up for everyone?!" Sam shockingly asks before she got angry "All I did was trying to make things better for everyone-"

'BURN THEM ALL IN HELL!' the demonic voice in Sam's head calls out.

Sam gasps and looks around in shock "Wha…? Who said that?"

The other students gathered around Sam, like pushing her out of the cafeteria.

"You're not welcomed here anymore, Manson." One student says before they shut the doors, preventing Sam from getting in as punishment for what she's done to Danny.

Sam tries to open the door, but it was shut. She heavily knocks on it "Hey! Let me in! You can't lock other people out like this!"

Her anger rose, making her eyes glow green and her teeth more canine. "LET. ME. IN!" she was about to punch her way in in an uncontrollable rage.

"Miss Manson!" Lancer calls to her as he walks over her very serious.

Sam gasps, making her turn back to her normal self.

Lancer then told her very serious "Attempting to damage school property is unacceptable here."

Sam was dumbfounded and tried to explain, "But… sir… they all keep me from getting in and don't even have-"

"That has heard you an hour of detention for today, Miss Manson," Lancer said while writing a paper that says she has detention at the end of the day "See you after classes." And left.

Sam was shocked that she earned detention while she was only 'trying' to get back into the cafeteria. Her clenched her fists while her eyes glow green again out of anger "You… SON OF A…!" but then Sam stops, shocked that she was this close to yell a very bad word to Lancer. She held her hands on her head, feeling something that made her angrier than before "What's happening to me?"

Later that day after school…

While Danny walked back to his house with Tucker and Valerie joining him, he still wasn't fully feeling well despite he now knew that he had his friends' support.

"You sure you don't want to go ghost or anything?" Tucker asks Danny "You know that you'll be home faster that way, right?"

"I just don't feel like it, Tuck." Danny said.

Tucker shrugs before suggesting, "Hey, wanna grab a bite at the Nasty Burger?"

Danny shook his head "No, I'm not in for a burger now, Tucker."

Just as Tucker wanted to suggest something else, Valerie stops him. "Tucker, just leave him alone." but seeing that Tucker was probably only trying to help Danny in some way, she tells Danny, "We all know you're still feeling bad about Sam and all, but you can't keep putting your head in the ground the whole time. It's time to move on."

"I know, Valerie," Danny says, "I just… need some time alone."

When making it to his house, Danny walks to the front door and enters his house.

Tucker and Valerie remained outside. As they left, Tucker wandered as he checks around the street "Huh. And I thought that by now a lot of journalists would be at his house right now considering the whole world knows by now that he and Sam have split up." He holds up his PDA, showing a news bulletin from CNN with a picture of Danny and Sam torn in half while the text says: DANNY PHANTOM AND SAM MANSON SPLIT UP – Abuse being the reason?

Valerie shook her head "The last thing he needs is more publicity. And besides, you know that the government made it clear to all the paparazzi and other journalists to respect Danny's privacy."

"I know that." Tucker ensures before showing a different website, being an Anti-Sam website "But I don't that counts for Sam here. Just look. It's not even been 24 hours, and she has already been backlashed at every corner."

Valerie narrows her eyes "Serves her right if you ask me."

Tucker sighs "Yeah, you might be right. And honestly… I don't think I want to hang out with Sam anymore."

Valerie nods and both headed to the Nasty Burger.

While Valerie took their order, Tucker, who was sitting already at a table, received a message on his PDA. He saw that it was from Sam, trying to ask him how Danny is. Tucker simply narrowed his eyes and types back: Sam, just stop, okay? I know everything what has been happening between you and Danny. He told us everything.

Sam: Please, can't you talk some sense into him? I'm already being bothered from left to right all day long and Danny doesn't pick up his calls or responds to my messages!

Tucker wasn't sure what to type. He and Danny had been friends with her for years. But now, knowing what Sam did, Tucker was feeling that she has gone too far and wasn't sure if she deserves his friendship anymore.

Sam: Tucker are you there?! Hellooo-oooo!

Tucker sighs and types back to her: Sam, I think it's better you and I don't see each other anymore. After what you did to Danny… I don't think I want to hang out with you anymore. You've changed, Sam and not in a good way.

Tucker then received an angry message back from Sam: WHAT?! ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?! First Danny and now you?! C'mon, Tucker! We have been friends for years!

Tucker: Technically, we WERE friends. It's better you stop calling or contacting me or Danny.

Sam: Tucker… YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! DON'T LEAVE ME LIKE THIS!

Tucker: Goodbye, Samantha.

Tucker then immediately blocked Sam's number and chat account before deleting it.

Valerie then came back with their ordered burgers and French fries, with her asking him as she guessed who was contacting Tucker and saw him staring at his PDA with a bit of angry look "Was that Sam you were chatting with?"

Tucker nods "Yeah. And I told her to leave me and Danny alone. I just broke all my connections with her."

"Good." Valerie said before taking her own PDA "Best to block and delete her while I can." And she too blocked Sam's number and chat before deleting her details from her phone.

She and Tucker then enjoyed their meal, starting a new chapter in their lives without Sam in it.

Meanwhile, in Casper High…

Sam, sitting in detention, stared angrily at her phone that Tucker had blocked her, and she could no longer contact him.

Then suddenly, she received hundreds of angry spam messages, telling all kinds of nasty things about her.

Sam felt like her whole world was falling apart.

That was when Lancer takes her phone from her hands "No phones during detention!" and puts it in a drawer in his desk.

"Mr. Lancer! I need it to-"

"You can have it back AFTER serving your detention." Lancer said while sitting at his chair and took out a newspaper "So for your sake, I say you should use this valuable time to study, Miss Manson." On the newspaper was a big picture of an angry looking Sam and a sad Danny Phantom while in between there was a broken heart.

Sam groans while burying her face, feeling her rage increasing.

After an hour, Sam was finally allowed to leave and got her phone back. But as soon as she left the school, many people in the streets giving her a nasty look. One middle-aged lady spit in front of Sam's feet.

Suddenly, a car drives fast near her, with the driver tossing an empty can at her, hitting her face!

"PHANTOM HATER!" The man calls before leaving.

Sam kept receiving more and more spam messages, with her phone getting overheated, making her to toss it into the garbage while more and more people began calling her names, hating her for what she did to Danny.

"GRAAAAGH! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" she yells before running off, trying to get home as fast as she could.

But as she got to her house, it was surrounded by a large pack of journalists and news vans, shocking her as this was even worse than when she and Danny just started dating after he saved the world.

"Hey, there she is!" one journalist calls, causing the whole paparazzi to turn their attention and bombarded Sam with hundreds of questions while pushing their microphones or cameras to her face.

Sam was on the brink of crying while covering her ears, trying as hard as she could to push herself through the journalist crowd "LEAVE ME ALOOOOOONE!" she cries out before making it to the front door and rushes inside, trying to close the door while pushing all the journalists out.

She pants while leaning her back against the door. Rage and sadness overwhelmed her as this was 100 times worse than she could've imagined. The demonic chackling echoes in her mind.

Then, Sam looks and sees her parents, Jeremy and Pamela, all looking at her very angry while folding their arms.

"Mom… Dad…" Sam said while she sobs "Those people… and at school… Today was a nightmare!"

Her father however, instead of comforting his daughter, says in a controllable anger, "What else would've you expected after you treated your boyfriend that way, Samantha?"

Sam gasps in shock "Dad, I-"

"Danny Fenton saved all of our lives, and you had the immense honor of dating the world's greatest hero," Pamela expresses with a very disappointed tone and anger "and you instead go out and humiliate and emotionally abuse him?! Is this how we raised you, Samantha?!"

"Oh God… not you guys too!"

Several employees of their family then walked down the stairs, carrying boxes filled with forbidden Goth objects that Sam had been collected and kept a secret from her family for some years.

Sam gasps in shock "Wha… What are you doing to my stuff?!" she asks while the workers left the house and puts them all in a van destined for the Salvation Army.

"We think your little 'collection' would be better in the hands of people who actually need them, Samantha." Pamela says.

"No!" Sam begs while trying to stop some workers from taking her stuff "I've spent a fortune to get all of this!" she glares at her parents "THEY'RE ALL MINE!"

"That's your punishment for mistreating Danny, Samantha!" Jeremy said very strict "And you're also grounded for a whole year! No phones, no tv, no computers or video games and no going out for you."

"WHAT?! But… I…"

"No buts, young lady!" Pamela said and ordered her to get to her room "Now get to your room this instant! I just can't look at the face of a girl who I didn't raised to be a manipulative abuser!"

Sam glares with hatred at her parents, almost at the brink of transforming 'Heartless parents! You deserve to die a painful death!'. Sam quickly snaps out of it and covers her ears "SHUT UUUUP!" and races up the stairs. She quickly got into her room and locks it.

She pants in panic while tears fell from her eyes. Though her room was mostly emptied of nearly all of her stuff, except for her bed and some clothes, Sam had bigger worries on her mind as this evil chackling wouldn't stop in her head. In a state of total panic, Sam rushes into her bathroom and washes her face.

As she stares into her reflection in the mirror, her image suddenly turned pale, her hair as white as snow, her eyes glowing green and her teeth canine.

"Hello, Sam."

"AAAAAAH!" Sam shouts as she fell backwards, hitting the wall, staring with a horrified face at the reflection, thinking she was imagining things. She tried to convince herself that it's not real "It's not real, Samantha Manson! It's not real, just… things playing all in your mind." She nervously laughed before looking back, only to meet the demon in a shadow form staring right in her face with glowing red eyes. "AAAAAAAAH!"

The demon, who took the form of Sam, chuckles as its voice changed, sounding almost like Sam, saying as he laughs with amusement, "Hahahahahaha… Oh. Don't look so surprised. Oh, the fun we'll have."

Sam pants in fear while trying to get up "You… stay away from me, ghost. I'm warning you!"

The demon then glares at her while leaning very close to Sam's face "A ghost? Me!?" then it chuckles while a large grin forms on its face "No. I am much worse than that. More… powerful!"

"What do you want?"

The demon chuckles evilly "To give you what you greatly desire. To do what you never could. Remove all who dare to take away the boy you love, Samantha Miriam Manson." It then morphed back inside Sam, making her eyes glow black while Sam was forced to see many images that scared her in her nightmares, all her fears and memories she wants to forget "I have seen your heart, Sammy… I have seen your dreams… Your precious memories… All your desires… All that you hate… Your parents, who never loved you the way you are. Your classmates, who see you as an outcast. A loser. A FREAK!"

Then the demon forced her to watch the memories how bad her relationship started with Danny, how the publicity ruined every moment together and the stress overwhelmed her, driving her to emotionally abuse her boyfriend to get her ways. Even forcing her to rewatch the whole breakup scene from yesterday.

"Being in the middle of all the attention when you and Danny were finally together… All the pains you felt when he wasn't there to be with you… coming with all kinds of excuses. The world never understood you… Nobody did. Not your friends. Not your family. NOBODY! Not even your ex-boyfriend and how much you… hurt him! Hahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!"

As the demon morphed out of her body, appearing again in its shadow-form, Sam cried while she shook her head "I… I didn't mean for it to end this way. I only wanted to help him… trying to make this work."

"And yet people were trying to destroy it one way or another." The demon spoke softly before forming a sinister smile. "Guess they succeeded, causing your beloved Danny to turn his back on you and your precious relationship."

Sam stopped crying, seeing that the demon was right. "Yes… all of those girls tried to take him from me… and all those other people…"

"Yes, Sammy. They were jealous of you. All of them knew that you and Danny were meant together. They poisoned his mind with lies, making you the villain." The demon deceived Sam, making her believe that the world was responsible for their breakup.

Sam frowns while grinding her teeth. "They took him from me…! Humiliated me!" Tears fell from her eyes as the anger overwhelmed her. "I want them to pay! All of them!"

The demon chuckles. "And we can."

"We?"

"Yes! Together, we will make them all pay and give you your beloved Danny back."

Sam

Became confused. "But why helping me?"

The demon smirks "C'mon now, Sammy. It's what you wished for, remember?"

This made Sam gasp in shock, remembering what happened last night, desiring the power from Hell to make everyone pay. "Desiree… she… heard me and… granted my wish?!"

"Bingo." The demon says "Me, the best thing you could ever have. Bringing you what you always wanted. Powers beyond your wildest dreams. Imagine the possibilities? No one will ever make fun of you again and all those sluts will stay away from you and your boyfriend. And Danny? Hahahahaha… he will love you more than ever after we're done."

Sam blinks her eyes "You can… actually make that happen?"

"Yes! All you have to do is embrace my power and let all your emotions unleashed on those who've hurt you."

Sam was conflicted about this.

The demon, leaning close to her, like snuggling her, tempting her even more. "You have tasted my power already, Sam. Just think of the possibilities…? Making all those bullies and whores suffer, making them wish they were never born…"

Sam, having felt these demonic powers before when she was angry, began to slowly nod "Yes… it… did felt good."

"Yes…" the demon embraced her from behind puts its arms around her "Embrace me… let all the hate flow through you… and no one will ever make fun of you… again… And you have Danny… all to yourself…" the demon licked her cheek with its long-forked tongue.

Sam sighs. She then smirks evilly, and her eyes glow green. "Then let's do this."

The demon smirks evilly before morphing back into Sam, entering through her mouth!

In a few seconds, Sam, embracing the power of the demon from Hell, stands up and looks back at the mirror, with her own reflection and the demon forming a grin while both slowly laughed "Hahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

A/N: My first intention was to finish and publish this new story in the form of a horror special oneshot for Halloween. But as I couldn't reach the deadline and I have so many ideas for this story, I've decided to divide the story into 3 or 4 chapters. So, for now, my main focus is on this story before I get back to the others.

I sure hope that this horror special was both scary and exited at the same time? As for this demon that has possessed Sam, I figured it would act like a 'host' like the Green Goblin and/or Venom from the Spider-Man franchise.

Trust me, the next chapter is gonna be a whole more bloody and scary.

See you all then!
