Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The 100, or the characters of either show. This is based on the show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, not the comics. I am winging this as I go by episode of The 100. I will flush things out as I go, too! Please be patient, and all reviews are welcome!
Introduction: Buffy and her friends never made it to Cleveland. Instead, the bus was sent through a portal, landing them ninety-seven years into the future. This ground is different and dangerous. What will happen to the Hellmouth's survivors?
Chapter 1: The Ground
The Scoobies, Potential Slayers, and Andrew were on the bus when it went through the portal. The portal had swirling lights and crackles of thunder. Everyone held onto the bus. When the portal finally closed, the bus landed in a forest. They all screamed and the bus came to a screeching halt. Everyone hung onto the bus and then let go. Giles turned around and asked,
"Is everyone alright?"
Some of the girls nodded and Buffy stood up. She checked on Dawn and then walked to the front of the bus.
"What happened?" She asked Giles.
"I have no idea," Giles replied, truthfully. "We were on our way to Cleveland when the bus got sucked through this giant portal."
"You couldn't stop it?" Buffy asked.
Giles shook his head. "It was as if we were being pulled."
"Weird," Buffy said. "What do we do now? Principal Wood and some of the girls need a hospital."
"Let's go outside and see what we can find out," Giles said, opening the bus's door.
"Everyone stay here," Buffy demanded. "We'll be back."
Giles and Buffy walked outside into the forest. They heard a strange sound and looked up. It looked like something big and metal was falling out of the sky.
"Giles, is that what I think it is?" Buffy asked him.
"A drop ship," Giles replied. "We should get back inside the bus. We have no idea what's out here."
"We need supplies. Water, food, shelter." Buffy insisted.
"Maybe the ship will have supplies," Giles said. "A group of us should go and find out before dark."
Buffy nodded. "I'll assemble the group. I'll go with them. Faith can stay behind and look after the others."
Dawn stood at the threshold of the door and said, "I'm coming too."
"Fine, but stay close to me." Buffy agreed.
Buffy, Dawn, Willow, Kennedy, and two Potentials left the bus. Buffy showed them where the dropship had fallen and they all walked in that direction. It took a couple of hours, but Buffy's group finally made it. Once Buffy's group arrived, they discovered that the dropship held teenagers. Not supplies. Buffy noticed that the teenagers all had wristbands on their arms. What were the wristbands for? Buffy wondered. Some of the teenagers spoke of supplies and a mountain called:
Mount Weather
From what Buffy gathered, Mount Weather had supplies, food, and shelter. Good, Buffy thought. Let's be there when they find it. Buffy's group lay low until some of the teenagers broke off. It was a blonde girl, a brunette girl, a guy with long hair, and two other gentlemen. One of those gentlemen had goggles on his head. Buffy instructed her group to follow them. The other group stopped and Buffy told her group to stay still.
The dropship group found a deer. Buffy and her group also smiled at the animal and then when a twig snapped, the deer looked up. Both groups gasped at the wild deer. It had two faces and burn marks. Buffy was extremely surprised by what she just saw. Where the hell were they? Buffy wondered.
"What the frilly hell was that?" Willow whispered.
"A strange deer," Dawn whispered back. "It looked like it had burn marks and two faces!"
"Shh!" Buffy demanded. "I don't want the kids to find us yet." She paused. "Let's follow them."
Buffy and her friends followed the group to a river. The brunette girl started to take her clothes off and they all argued about what they should do. Buffy rolled her eyes at the scene and watched the brunette hop into the water. The group followed the brunette girl and smiled.
"Octavia! We can't swim!" One of the gentlemen said.
Interesting name, Buffy thought. Octavia.
"No, but we can stand," Octavia said and giggled.
The teenagers were about to take their clothes off too when the goggle man saw something swim right towards her.
"Octavia, get out of the water!" He yelled. "Get out of the water now!"
A creature grabbed her and the kids searched for her. The blonde girl had a plan. She used the rocks as a distraction and the goggle man went after her. Buffy and her friends gasped as they watched the horrific scene, but thankfully, the goggle man saved her.
"Note to self, save the girl." One of the men said.
Buffy turned to her friends and said, "They're smart. Maybe we can join them." Dawn nodded and Kennedy shrugged.
"I don't know Buffy, do you think we can trust them?" Kennedy asked.
"We all need supplies and food. We can think of shelter later." Buffy said. "We need their help and they know what to do in a crisis."
Willow looked at Buffy and nodded. "I agree with you. We should make ourselves known."
"Okay then," Buffy said and sighed. "Let's go."
Buffy put her hands up in defense and walked over to the kids. The blonde girl saw her first. Buffy stepped closer to them, slowly. The kids stayed together, still. One of the men walked in front of the blonde and looked at Buffy.
"Identify yourself." He demanded.
"My name is Buffy Summers," Buffy said. "We come in peace."
"We?" He asked.
Buffy's friends slowly walked over to her. They all had their hands up and followed Buffy's lead. The guy turned to the blonde and said,
"They must have followed us from the dropship."
The blonde looked at Buffy. "We thought we were the only ones here." She explained. "We didn't know that there were survivors."
"We just got here," Buffy replied. "By something you cannot understand. We were wondering where we were."
"You're on earth." The blonde said. "My name is Clarke."
Buffy smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Clarke." She paused. "We come in peace and need your help."
"How many of you are there?" The guy asked.
"Finn, please," Clarke whispered.
"There's many of us, but not as many as you," Buffy replied. "You seemed to know where to go."
"We're headed to Mt. Weather," Clarke told her. "Are you the only ones here?"
"We don't know," Buffy said honestly. "Something crazy happened and we are just looking for help. Maybe we can join you. We have warriors."
"Why do we need warriors?" Finn asked.
"Because we don't know what else is here," Buffy told him.
Finn turned to Clarke and whispered, "We have a hundred of our people. Do you think we can share with them?"
Clarke sighed. "It might be a good idea to keep them around." She said, "We don't have any defenses and they might be able to help us to get to Mt. Weather." Clarke turned to Buffy. "Alright, you can come with us."
Buffy smiled and walked over to Clarke. She held out her hand. "Nice to meet you."
Clarke shook her hand. "Now, how are we going to get across?"
Finn looked at Clarke and said, "I have an idea."
Finn found a branch that could be used to get across to the other side of the river. Buffy and her friends could swim, but the creature was too dangerous to face. The goggle man, whose name was Jasper, used the branch first and swung to the other side. Victory, mission accomplished.
"Whoo!" Jasper yelled. "Come on you guys!" On the other side of the river, Jasper found an old burnt sign that belonged to Mt. Weather. "We did it, whoo!"
A spear struck Jasper and ended all the fun.
"Holy crap!" Dawn yelled.
The kids started to scream, "Jasper!"
"Come on, come on!" Finn yelled. "Everyone get down."
Both groups were startled and hid behind the rocks. Clarke scanned the forest for people and turned to Finn,
"We're not alone."
Author's Notes: This was an idea that got stuck in my head after watching The 100 for the second time!
Some scenes are directly from the first episode of The 100 Season 1 Episode 1: Pilot. I do not own them.
I wanted to see how Buffy would react if she got sent somewhere else and into this storyline. Please let me know what you think!
