Julia never felt as much satisfaction as she did today. Not only was she able to get a powerful threat in Raj eliminated from the game but now all the attention against MK was off her back and now onto Bowie's.
She did catch a glimpse of Bowie trying to talk to the guys and despite Wayne's pleas to hear him out, Caleb and Zee were more willing to listen to Priya and Axel's side of the argument instead of his, especially with Ripper keeping up the lie that Bowie was the ringleader in the whole cheating business which filled Julia with an exuberant amount of glee even if Ripper appeared to be remorseful about the whole ordeal but Julia wasn't worried about that. After all, if Ripper made any sort of confession, he was bound to get eliminated sooner or later and Axel would be pissed with him.
Right now, Julia and her sort of bestie/sort of girlfriend were out hunting for the idol. The two had even resorted to looking inside the animals with flashlights. Okay yes, that was a little weird to do but Chris is the one that said the idol could be inside an animal so that was on him.
By now, Julia was in a good enough mood to try making some small talk with MK.
"I thought for sure you were going home at last night's ceremony. Ugh, that would've stunk." Julia smiled as she turned to MK, rolling her eyes at the thought of her newfound crush going home on her watch.
"Why? Because you like me?" MK asked with a smug grin which made Julia blush crimson red. Maybe a little while back, she would've tried to deny these very true allegations but thanks to her vengeful realization last night, Julia was starting to feel a little bold on how to handle this situation.
"Oh I like you alright, though maybe not in the way you think." Julia smirked flirtatiously as she walked towards MK and twirled the loose strands of her hair seductively which made MK widen her eyes and blush.
"What do you mean by that?" MK asked, clearly shocked by what Julia just said.
Julia's smirk only widened at seeing MK in this state. It was subtle, but it was made clear that MK felt the same way about her. Julia certainly had her suspicions about MK being into her of course, it's not like she was discreet about wanting to be around Julia as much as possible after all but it was always nice to have that insurance.
Before MK could form a response to that, Julia gripped her shoulders and lightly pushed her towards the front of the tree. MK smiled and blushed at this positioning which Julia was delighted by as it showed she wasn't uncomfortable by what Julia was doing but before she could speak, Julia interrupted.
"MK, why do you think I got rid of Raj? He poses as way less of an outward threat compared to freaking Bowie of all people and Bowie originally was my target, but then I decided to change it for one simple reason. Bowie scorned me in a way I never felt before, he didn't just taunt me but he also mocked your bear attack injuries and what was going on between us. It hurt MK, and it made me realize it was because I had feelings for you. So I figured if he was willing to hurt who I love, then I'll hurt who he loves and it worked out better than expected. Now Bowie is less of a problem and we can coast through this dumb game together." Julia explained softly as she cupped MK's chin.
"W-Wow Julia… I didn't think you'd care about me that much." MK smiled, clearly touched by her ally's words.
"Neither did I but here we are." Julia smirked back before drawing MK in for a kiss and leaning her against the tree. It didn't take too long for MK to kiss back and run her hands through Julia's blonde hair and the back of her shirt.
Julia then proceeded to pull MK towards her as they continued to kiss but after a while, she pulled MK off of her but continued to hold MK in her embrace.
"Say you're mine?" Julia asked softly, saying it in a way as if to make sure MK knew that despite her dominant presence, she had the final say in how far she wants this to go.
"I'm yours', so long as you'll have me." MK nodded firmly to which Julia embraced MK a little bit tighter. She never expected to gain a girlfriend out of this new season, nor did she expect to genuinely grow to care about MK but here she was.
MK's was Julia's now and both of them knew in their hearts that they would not have it any other way.
Author's Note: Julia was quite forward wasn't she? This goes without saying but don't try flirting like she did, chances are it may not end well. Thankfully she was flirting in a way she knew MK would be into, so that helps her case here.
