Jon flew Damian and Raven to the tower's emergecy room as quickly as he could. After laying Damia on the bed and letting the comouters figure out the issue Jon left Damian with Raven as he went to get the other titans. Raven held Damian's hand, her breathing was ragid. She tried to focus on Damian, thinking how he has been through worse and will be up trying to train in less than an hour. Raven smiled as she thought of her keeping Damian from training by keeping him on the couch holding her as they read or watch a movie. An alarm shocked her out of her thoughts. The computers were showing that there was nothing that could be done to Damian's wound. Her eyes went to Damian's side where the cut was, it had a strange green glow to it. Raven tried healing it with her magic but she was still weakened by Slade. She didnt care she tried heaing him still desperate to help him. She felt a hand pull her away. "Raven what happened?" Kory asked. Raven started to panic, Damian, her Damian needed help and she wasnt strong enough, but she could feel him slipping away slowly. She rushed out of the room leaving the others to watch Damain.

Raven held her chest feeling as if he heart would burst out, her whole body trembled, her breathing grew morw rapid. Tears started streaming down her eyes in an never ending stream.The world felt dizzy as she sat down still clinging to her chest. Raven faintly heard pounding coming from the medical room door, bur it was magically locked. Suddenly the noise and the world fell out of view as she met her father still trapped inside her gem. "Wh-what do you want?!" Raven yelled at her father, concerned that she was so caught up with Damian that her emotions allowed Trigon to contact her directly and more angry that she cant even feel pain for a loved one without risking him breaking free. "I simply offer a deal daughter." Trigon's voice echoed out with forcefulness. "The boy was cut by a niulis blade. It the the antithesis of the lazarus pits and all ways of resurrection. If the boy was killed by the blade nothing not even magic could revive him. However he was only cut and therefore can still be saved but only by powerful magic, magic you wont be able to use in time before the niulis spreads and kills him." Raven's eyes grew wide and felt as if her own her heart would stop. She fell to her knees and the chains around Trigon loosened, Trigon gave a sinister smile. Raven then thought her friends, Garfield, Jaime, Kori, Jon, and Dick. She thought strongly of them trying to think of anything besides her current predicament. The chains tightened once more and Trigon gave a low growl. "While your magic is weak mine is still as strong as ever. Allow me to give you some of my power to heal the boy." Raven immediately looked at her father, curious as to why he would want to hep Damian, help her. Flashes were thrown into her head, she saw Damian on his death bed, his funeral, she saw how closed off she became without him, how merciless she became towards her enemies. She bowed her head down in despair crying even more, holdng the neckless Damian gave her she weakly let out the words "do it" before yelling out "DO IT!". Trigon smirked.

Beast boy was ramming into the medical room door as an actual ram, Jaime was blasting it as well as Starfire, but the door had a red magical barrier around it that would not break. Jon layed at a wall after being pushed back after being pushed back from it by hitting it, he groaned as he got up, "I hate magic." The others all stopped, exhausting their energy. Star was panting as sh said, "I really hope Raven is ok." She turned to Dick who was still by his brother's side, feeling helpless nor being able to help his brother or Raven. Suddenly the barrier disappeared and the door burst open. Rave stood at the door way all four of her eyes showing, horns rising from her head, skin red as blood and her cloak bellowing behind her. She levitated towards Damian, everyone's eyes followed her, Jaime's scarab was going crazy trying to convince Jaime to either kill Raven or run. Beast boy was shaking, every animal instict he had was teling him to run, Kori was shaking, she was scared for Raven, wanting nothing more than to help her but felt that she should stay put. Dick was sweating and lightly shaking but steeled himself and went to cam Raven down "Raven please-" as he went to hold her he was sent flying by a shock of energy "Gahh!" Kori caught him, and they all watched knowing there was nothing they could do. Raven got to Damian and placed her hands on the cut. The green glow faded as a red glow overtook it, with some energy leaking into his body. After he was healed Raven went to normal, she didnlet out a breath until she heard Damian's breathing went back to normal and the computer signaling that he was ok. Raven practically jumped on him as she held him crying in joy. Damian weakly opened his eyes, he thought he had died and still fet like he did with the heavenly feeling of Raven hugging him. "...I had him where i wanted him" Damia said groggly as everyone laughed. "Yea sorry I had to ruin your moment" Jon said as he hugged his friend. Everyone said how grateful the y were that he was ok and gave him a hug. Dick hugged him tighter than the others except Raven. "Don't scare us like that again little brother." Damian nodded. "What happened after I was cut, last thing I remember was Reaper leaving and passing out." Everyone looked at Raven who looked down at and lightly played wth Damian's hand. "I- I did what i felt needed to be done, Father let me use some of his power to heal you, I know that he's planning something but I just couldnt..." tears ran down her as Damian tilted Raven's head to look at him as he smiled and said. "It's ok I wold have made a deal with the devil myself if it was the only way to save you." Raven hugged Damian and buried her face into his neck. Dick cleared his throat, Raven and Damian then regained their composure but Ravn still didn't leave the bed. "I get that you two want and even deserve some time together but we need to be briefed on what happened." Damian, Raven and Jon then tell eveyone what happened. "He took down Slade?! That's not concerning at all." Beast Boy said as a nervous sweat formed on his face. "While slightly surprising, its not all that unbelievable afterall he was trained by my grandfather, Reaper was a member of the league of assassins. I could tell by not only the way he fought but by what he called me. 'Little Prince' was something many in the league called, to some it was meant as respect and to others it was meant as demeaning, thinking I had special treatment as Ras Al Ghul's grandson. The only thing that I got by being his grandson was more expectations, more was expected of me than anyone else, I trained harder myself to make sure to make my grandfather proud." Damian gritted his teeth angry at how he used to be, the things he had done. Raven put her hand on his shoulder to calm him. "So he's after you, me and Slade. And is weilding a weapon that can knullify any resurrection. Safe to assume he wants to kill us because we were brought back to life and if thats his target set then many other heroes may be on his list. I'll get in touch with the Justice League see if they or more than likely Batman has a list of heroes that fits that MO. You get some rest, as for everyone else stay vigilant and train." Everyone agreed with Dick and left as Raven cuddled next to Damian as they went to sleep.

At a hidden lab at Luthor Corp sirens were going off as scientists ran after seeing a vertiable army of security guards incapacitated. "Who do you think you are?" Lex Luthor asked as he pointed a gun from his new robotic suit at the assailant. "Dont worry your safe." Reaper said as he turned to face Lex. "You must be th new player I've heard so much about, going after heroes and...more morally ambiguous types like myself. Although from what I have pieced together it's only those who have died and come back to life, poor Grundy has bee dead for nearly 6 Mondays.So if it's not for me why are you here?" Reaper grinned behind his mask and answered "I need kryptonite."

And with that this chapter comes to a close. This was a longer one which I hope everyone will enjoy. I can't promise that all chapters will be this long but I am striving to give my best in each chapter. Also i was made aware there was an issue with chapter 2, it is now fixed an highly encourage those who read it before to read it again as thia version fits more into the storyline.
