Unaware that Optimsu was back to himself and that Hide was bringing him to the med bay, Aquaformer suffered in silence as Ratchet checked her over. He was getting some strange readings from the sparklings she was carrying, but he didn't realize it was due to the fact that she needed her mate but he had been unavailable because of the wire crossing. She was miserable but she did her best to hide it. Ratchet could see she was acting off and hoped things would change soon for the sparklings sake. "Come on, Aquaformer. You know to take care of yourself better than this" Ratchet stated. Aquaformer decided not to answer and put up her face mask. Ratchet sighed at that.
Just then, Hide led Optimus into the med bay. The Prime was not in best mood, but was relieved to see Aquaformer. Hide nodded, relieved so far that Aquaformer and Ratchet had not yet noticed the pair. Optimus headed towards his mate, but as he did so, he felt a pain in his spark. He was puzzled. This didn't make sense. He didn't realize his mate was in need of him, but hadn't been able to satisfy that need due to circumstances beyond her control. It wasn't for interfacing, she needed time with him, to feel like she mattered to him.
Slowly, It dawned on Optimus what was going on. His mate felt like her emotional needs had been brushed aside again. And what confirmed it to the Prime was the fact that he could see that his mate's face mask/ battle mask was up, as even from the back he knew how she looked without it up and with it up. Optimus could only hope this would go well.
"I'm here, Hatchet" Hide called out, really before Optimus was ready to announce his presence. Ratchet looked over right away, but Aquaformer chose not to. She figured it wouldn't be worth it. She just wanted to finish the check up and head back home.
"Good… now to take a look" Ratchet stated, thinking of looking at both Optimus and Hide. Aquaformer took that moment to slip out, now that the attention was elsewhere. Optimus noticed and wanted to follow, but Ratchet stopped him, not realizing just yet that Aquaformer had taken the distraction as a way to slip out unseen. Optimus sighed. This was going to be a lot harder than he realized, especially as he could feel her pain in his spark. He hoped he could soon reach her, but for now, he was stuck in the med bay.
