The next day, the UFO is completely visible in the sky and is about to land. All the civilians were evacuated and a team of GUN soldiers is waiting in the landing area with their guns raised.

Steven is with the soldiers, ready to fight and kill if necessary. Fionna is watching from a safe distance, ready to approach and fuse with Steven if necessary.

Finally, the hand lands a finger on the ground. From there, comes a green sphere. The sphere opens and reveals two women, one short, with green skin and triangular hair and the other tall, muscular and with white hair. A detail that catches Steven's attention: The green lady has a gem on her forehead and the tall one has one in the nose

"The energy pulse came from this place." Says the green one before she looks at the soldiers. "So there are humans here too. This must be some kind of human colony."

The tall woman scoffs. "So that's what you called me for? A group of humans? Pathetic." She turns back. "I won't do anything. Finish them with the ship."

The green lady rolls her eyes. Her 'fingers' transform into a small screen and she activates the hand-UFO. It points a finger to the soldiers and the finger starts emitting a light from its tip.

The soldiers watch the scene in horror and try to run away. But Steven stays there with widened eyes, processing everything in shock.

Fionna runs towards him and grips his arm, her voice in a hurry. "Steven! Run! That thing is about to explode!"

He looks at the hand with wide eyes. "... Fuck…" He starts running towards the hand, pulling two axes from his diamond. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!"

When the ship blasts, Steven canalizes all his energy on the axes, parrying the blast. "FUUUUCK!"

The blast is parried and sent to the sky, where it explodes in a beautiful blend of colors.

The green lady looks at Steven in shock while the tall one looks surprised, a hint of excitement flicks on her face.

Steven stands there breathing deeply in shock. "... Fuuuuck…" He inhales deeply. "It was SO FUCKING CLOSE! Whole fuck! We-We almost died!"

In the middle of Steven's despair, the tall woman lands on the ground and looks straight to Steven. "I didn't know there were Gems on this planet."

Steven stops and looks straight to her, his gaze more serious. "... Who are you?"

She scoffs. "You have no right to know my name. You're clearly a defective gem."

Steven widens his eyes. "'Defective'? Defective my ass! If you want to insult me, do it right, bitch! You came from space, huh?! The fuck you want with this planet?!"

She rolls her eyes. "A Crystal Gem, should have expected it." She looks at Steven straight in the eyes. "Where is your leader?"

Steven raises an eyebrow. "Leader? I work for myself and for GUN. I don't have a leader—"

"Don't play the fool with me!" She shouts with annoyance. "You have a leader, Rose Quartz. Where is she?!"

Steven looks at the woman with a raised brow. "What is this crazy bitch talking about?" He thinks to himself. "... Ma'am, I don't know what drugs you used in space, but you're out of your mind. I don't know who this 'Rose Quartz' is."

The woman grits her teeth but then grins. "You may not talk now, but once we take you with us I'll make sure you start talking." She takes some kind of device that has an electric-like energy.

Steven grips his axes harder. "Bring it on, bitch!" He rushes towards the woman and tries to attack. Before he could slash her, she uses the device on his side. He feels like his body is tingling and a yellow light spreads through his veins. The woman grins wider.

Suddenly, Steven grabs the woman's neck and the energy starts flowing from his body to hers. Her eyes widen and she screams in despair. Suddenly, her body explodes in a cloud of mist and the gem on her nose falls to the ground with the weird device.

Steven takes a second to breath before realizing what happened. The soldiers look absolutely dumbfounded by the scene of Steven parrying a damn energy blast and then take off someone so easily.

He stares at the gem. "Ha… Haha… HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughs his lungs out. "LOSER! BITCHY LOSER! YOU LOST, I WON! HAHA!"

While that, the small green lady looks completely in shock. She starts backing down before trying to run back to the ship. Steven notices that and pulls one axe, throwing it exactly on the back of her head, making her explode in a cloud of mist too. Her gem and her limbs fall nimb on the ground and the ship collapses.

Steven looks at the fallen gems, the soldiers taking them to the base to contain them before they regenerate. "... That's it?" Steven asks indignantly. "All this 'bam-bam-bam' for this?! Less than five minutes of fighting?!"

Fionna rushes to him and grips on his arm, feeling extremely relieved as everything was solved so easily. "Steven, please. Everything is okay now, that's what matters."

Steven looks at her and calms down. He hugs her, caressing her hair. "I'm sorry… It's just… You got all worried and everyone was evacuated for something that I solved in less than five minutes… It just pisses me off."

Fionna smiles a little and hugs him back. "You're too worried for a guy who asked for a quickie the same day you met me."

He laughs. "True… true…"

Steven, Fionna, GUN soldiers and colonel Andrew are waiting for the women to regenerate into their bodies. The gems were put in a cell, like the dozens of Gem Creatures in the place.

Colonel Andrew looks at the gems with an analytic gaze. "Our jewelers have identified these gems as a jasper quartz and a peridot . We don't know what to expect from them."

Steven waits with crossed arms. "... Do you think the cell will manage to keep them in?"

Andrew looks at Steven with a raised brow. "These cells can endure 10 megatons of TNT with nothing but a few scratches. They have been taking the Gem Bea- I mean, Gem Creatures since we added them and none have escaped since then."

Fionna takes a second to think. "... Robotnik said that a small remnant of Steven's energy could energize a big city for 10 years, something around 16 thousand megawatts of energy per year. Making a small conversion, 16 quadrillions joules in total. If the cell can take 10 megatons of TNT, it can take around 42 quadrillions joules. Of course, it's still more resistant… but we're only talking about a small portion of Steven's energy. A portion that was a remnant of an attack that didn't even canalize 1% of his full power…" She pauses for a second. "If my calculations are right, Steven could break the cell, and if this woman has 1% of his potential, she will break it."

The agents, Andrew and Steven look straight to Fionna making her blush a little. Steven says calmly. "I don't know if I should feel like this, but your intelligence turns me on."

Colonel Andrew huffs. "It's not time to think about that, they'll regenerate at any moment. If they break free, you'll fuse and fight them yourselves."

Steven scoffs sarcastically. "I love how you treat us like weapons. Make me feel so proud of myself."

Andrew rolls his eyes. Suddenly, the women start taking form. The 'peridot' one is… even shorter than she appeared to be. She realizes her limb extensions aren't with her anymore and that she's now locked into a cell. "Oh no… We'll be stuck here forever and used as experiments by humans and-"

"YOU! " The 'jasper' woman interrupts punching the glass, her gaze fixed on Steven, she's fuming in wrath. " HOW DID YOU RESIST THE GEM DESTABILIZER AND I DIDN'T?!"

Steven rolls his eyes and chuckles. "Well, apparently you wasn't strong enough—"

"SHUT UP! I AM THE PERFECT QUARTZ SOLDIER! I TOOK DOWN 80 CRYSTAL GEMS ALONE THE SAME DAY I EMERGED! I WON'T ACCEPT THE HUMILIATION OF BEING DEFEATED BY SOME RANDOM, DEFECTIVE CRYSTAL GEM!"

Steven stares at her and rolls his eyes. "Bitch, I have no idea what a 'Crystal Gem' or whatever you call it is. I don't even know what I am." He grins and says mockingly. "But apparently the 'perfect quartz soldier', whatever it is, couldn't take the full power of Steven Wimbleton, and it wasn't even my full power!"

The jasper woman grit her teeth and keep punching the glass. "DAMN YOU!" She starts spinning and attacking the glass with 'spin dashes'. Her attacks start to crack the glass.

Steven, Fionna, and the G.U.N. soldiers all stand at attention, their expressions tense and ready. Colonel Andrew looks at the growing cracks in the reinforced glass with concern, his face hardening.

"Get ready!" Andrew says, his voice calm but urgent. He turns to Steven. "We don't have much time before that glass breaks. If they escape, we'll be dealing with an even bigger mess than before."

Steven nods. He prepares his axes and gets ready for confrontation.

Soon the glass breaks down completely and in a quick dash she takes Steven by the neck, lifting him from ground to her face height. She puffs in pure wrath and stares at Steven's diamond. She summons an attack helmet and yells at him. " I WILL SHATTER YOU!"

She gives a headbutt right onto Steven's diamond, but to her surprise, her helmet breaks at the impact and she explodes in a cloud of mist once again, making Steven fall on his butt.

After some seconds of shock in the place, Fionna rushes towards Steven. "STEVEN!" She sits next to him with an arm around him. "Are you okay?!"

Steven is still looking to the ground in shock. "... I feel like I stared death in the eyes."

Fionna holds Steven close, her grip steadying him as he slowly catches his breath. The shock in his eyes fades, replaced by a mixture of relief and determination. Colonel Andrew and the G.U.N. soldiers regroup, exchanging wary glances as they try to process what just happened.

The "Peridot" in the cell, now witnessing the destruction of her "perfect soldier" ally, stares wide-eyed and trembling. She backs up against the wall, mumbling under her breath. "This… this can't be happening. This was supposed to be a simple mission! Earth was supposed to be nothing…"

The agents approach her with guns raised. Colonel Andrew says coldly. "Well, it's clear that your friend won't collaborate with us, but we still need information about you. If you cooperate, we might take it easy on you." He approaches her, staring her down. "First, your identification…"

She looks at him in absolute terror. "M-My identification is Peridot Facet-2F5L Cut-5XG, and that was Jasper Facet-1B4D Cut-1C9T-Beta. Please, I'll do anything you ask, just don't shatter me!"

Andrew stops at the word 'anything'. He nods. "Jasper and Peridot... Great… so you will be a lot of help to us…"
