Isabella and Valentina were just looking for someplace to set up their new home after running away from the encanto when a girl about Mirabel's age had gone up to them and began controlling the dirt to drag them along. they were now standing in front of an open door leading to a living room with six teenagers inside, four of which had weird hair and eye colors.
"who are you?" the girl with short reddish-orange hair asked, standing up from where she had been sitting on the couch.
"I'm...Isabella madrigal" Isa nervously said.
'I should really change that' she thought to herself before the boy with black hair spoke up.
"what about you?" he asked, turning his attention to Val.
"I'm Valentina lopez" Val said, her wrist still encased in dirt.
"what are you two doing here?" the girl with bright blue hair questioned, holding a pair of scissors in one hand and a pink hairbrush in the other.
"we ran away from our old homes and now we're looking for somewhere to start making our new home" Isabella explained.
"wait" the boy with bright green hair said, stopping all conversation.
he walked closer to the confused couple.
"do you know someone by the name, Mirabel?" he asked, now standing in front of Isa.
"yeah, shes my sister" Isa replied.
"let them go Topaz, she's the air elemental's sister" they green haired boy said, turning his attention to the girl who'd brought them there.
"the air elemental?" Isa asked as the dirt around her and Val's wrists slipped off and sunk into the ground.
"we're the other elementals. only one of each type at a time can exist. the elementals are the only humans in the world who naturally have magic, due to being the reincarnations of spirits" he rambled.
"if Mirabel is an elemental with natural magic, why can't she use it?" Isa asked.
"because that miracle of yours is either cruel or stupid" the boy with white hair said before sipping stew straight from the bowl in his hands.
"hey!" Isa said, taking offense from it.
"anyways, my names Amon. I'm the life elemental, my powers are the abilities to control plants and talk to animals" the green haired boy explained, a crow landing on his shoulder.
the girl with reddish-orange hair sighed before explaining who she was.
"I'm Burn. I'm the fire elemental, meaning I have the power to control fire and heat. it also means I'm immune to burns" she said, her hand lighting on fire for emphases.
"I'm Shadow, the dark elemental. I have the power to manipulate darkness and teleport through shadows" the boy with black hair explained.
"I'm Moana. I'm the water elemental and I have the power to control water and ice. and as a bonus, I'm immune to frostbite" the blue haired girl said, still holding the pink hairbrush while leaning on the back of the couch.
"I'm Topaz. the earth elemental. I can control dirt and stone and I don't like socializing too much" the girl closest said.
"I'm Lantern, I'm the light elemental and I can manipulate light and make objects glow for a short period of time" the boy with white hair explained, pulling a small ball of pure light from thin air.
"I'm Valentina, and this is my girlfriend Isabella. she has the gift of plant manipulation" Val said, gently wrapping her arm around Isa's waist.
"well, we're not officially dating. not yet anyways" Isa corrected her.
"hey kids, I'm back" a mans voice called from behind Isa and Val.
Isabella turned around as the man dropped the box he was holding, shock in his eyes.
"Isabella?" he muttered.
Isa's eyes widened as she recognized her uncle.
