Ch 5 Rai's Ultimately Return
Takeo couldn't believe his eyes, there stood the Man, or rather the Boy who granted him a new Life outside of the Union.
At first, he thought he was hallucinating but he pitched himself to check if he was not dreaming. And he wasn't,
Standing right in front of him was Raizel, his Boss's Boss. The Person who gave him, Tao, and M-21 a chance to live for their selves, the Person who he swore to protect.
"R-Raizel…" Takeo said, his voice cracked. Before anything could be said, the young Noblesse turns to the Girl on the ground.
"This isn't the place nor the time for questions." The young Noblesse said, wanting to get Hermione out of there First before answering any questions.
The Purple-haired Man took notice of the Girl and quickly understood the situation. "Of course, I'll carry her somewhere safe." Takeo went over to Hermione, picking up her gently before leaving with Rai.
After leaving Hermione in the nearest Hospital and answering a few questions by the Police. Both Rai and Takeo had the time to properly converse with each other.
The two sat on a nearby bench for their conversation about this situation.
Takeo was nervous, unsure how to go about this with the Noblesse. It's been Twenty so Years since he laid eyes on the Man.
Now that he had a good look at Raizel, he was taken aback by how much younger he was right now. "R-Raizel…"
"Takeo, I'm sure you have some questions for me," Rai spoke, already knowing everyone he knows has questions about his Incarnation. "You may ask me any questions regarding my return."
The Purple-haired Modified Human proceeded to ask the young Noblesse the questions he had. "How exactly did you return? The Boss and the rest of us saw you heading towards the Missiles and went into Eternal Sleep." Takeo said, wanting to know how Rai was Alive.
Much like Muzaka, Rai answered his Knight's question with the same answer he gave to the Lord of the Werewolves.
Hearing the story of his Boss's Boss in his current Life, he got the full picture of the situation. Takeo nodded, getting a better understanding of Rai's situation. "I see…so that's why you didn't try to contact us." He said to him. "With you being reborn, you wanted to experience what Childhood is like." He said, knowing that Rai hardly had a Childhood, to begin with in Lukedonia as the Noblesse.
"It's understandable that you wanted to experience that," Takeo said, fiddling with his thumbs at the thought of a normal Life. "I can say that we also think about what Childhood is like. That said, the semi-normal Life you and the Boss provided is something we aren't thankful for." He said, motioning to him, Tao, and M-21.
"But sometimes we wonder what it'll be like growing up as Children," The Modified Human added, understanding how his Boss is feeling. "You're not alone in this, Sir-"
Rai looks at Takeo, correcting him on something. "Takeo, call me Rai. In this current Life, I receive, it's only right to call me that." The young Noblesse said,
Takeo took a moment to process what his Boss said. He then let out a small chuckle, remembering how the Children at Ye Ran High School would call him that Nickname. "If you say so, S-I mean, Rai."
After explaining things to his Knight, Rai proceeded to tell Takeo something vital that he required assistance. "Takeo, I need you to do something for me."
"Yeah, what is it?" The Modified Human looks at Rai, waiting for what he's going to say.
"I encountered a Werewolf that isn't like the Muzaka's Kind," Rai spoke, seeing the severity of the situation they witnessed before. "They seem to be targeting the Humans, mainly Children." The young Noblesse said, informing Takeo.
The purple-haired Sniper nodded, still waiting what his request. "What do you want me to do, Rai?" Takeo asked,
"Frankenstein…he's here, is he not?" Rai asked, receiving a nod from the Modified Human. "I want to find those missing Children and People. Relay this information to him and he'll figure out the next course of action from there." The Noblesse said, walking towards the Dursley's Home to rest.
Takeo flinched, realizing that his Boss isn't coming with him to the Base they established in Britain Ten Years back. "You're not coming with me to see him, Sir?" He asked, wondering why they needed them.
Rai turns to face his Knight, hearing his question. "I have other priorities to attend to," The young Noblesse said, needing to protect his Relatives from these Rogue Werewolves.
Takeo didn't ask, he knew that there was a good reason why he was not coming with him. He nodded, obliging his orders. "I'll tell the Boss about the situation here in Surry," The Modified Human said, watching as Rai left for his Relative's House and returned to where Frankenstein had based them.
RK's Base of Operations
In a rural part of Surry, a Manor stood among the many Manors that belonged to many rich People. Having lived the longest, it's natural that Frankenstein would gain significant wealth during the many Years of being Alive.
Frankenstein sat down at his Desk, reviewing the Documents Tao sent to look over. It's been Ten Years since he received the signs of his master's return. The Photo of him as an Infant, and the Power Surge that they felt, made the Modified Human hopeful for their eventual reunion.
Since that Day, he made it his Life mission to search for his master in Great Britain. However, his Duties at Ye Ran High School were still demanding, leaving him to put a halt. Fortunately, Tao was able to take over his Duties for a certain amount of Days.
Even with the Third Elder providing some resources to help with the search, the search for the Noblesse provides to be difficult.
Accompanying Frankenstein to search for his master were Takeo, M-21, Han Yoonah, and their Daughter.
During the Twenty Years since Rai sacrificed himself in Korea, many were devastated. More on the Three Modified who felt they owe their Lives to him.
The Three lived the Lives Rai gifted them, protecting the Humans that Rai gave his Life for with Frankenstein.
Life went especially well for M-21, after the Missile Incident, the Modified Human spent most of his Time mourning for Rai.
Though not for long, Yoonah often came over to the House to check up on M-21. They were close when M-21 first started working Security for Ye Ran High School.
Both Yoonah and M-21 became close during their Time together, eventually, they became Mates over time. After a few Years, they were expecting a Child; a Daughter who bore a resemblance to Han Yoonah, only with dark grey hair like her Father.
Everyone congratulated the two, even the Nobles and the Werewolves congratulated them for the birth of their Daughter,
The new Parents were overjoyed with their Daughter. They Named her Mina, a Name that Yoonah picked based on the first Letter of M-21's Name.
Love was something M-21 was not expecting to encounter in his Life. Let alone a Daughter that he could call his own
When M-21 first held his Daughter, he felt a strange surge of Emotions within him. A different kind of Emotion when he was with his Mate, these were the Emotions of his Parental Instinct.
With the new addition to the 'Family', things were brighter due to the young Girl.
Frankenstein finished signing some Papers when his Office door opened. "Hmm?" The blonde Man gazed up, seeing the young grey-haired Girl around Five-Year-Old in a blue Sundress, black leggings, and shoes. "Ah, Mina. Is there something you need?" He asked, not minding the young Werewolf's entrance.
"U-Um…Uncle Frank, Uncle Takeo came back." Mina informed the current master of the House of Takeo's return.
As Mina told her Uncle, Takeo appeared right behind the young Girl. "Hey there, little fella." The purple-haired Man smiles, ruffling Mina's grey hair. "You're not causing any trouble, are you?"
Mina giggled at the gesture her Uncle gave, shaking his Head. "No! I'm not, Uncle Takeo!" She smiles,
Frankenstein stood up from his chair, greeting his Subordinate on his return. "Thank you for guiding him here, Mina. Why don't you look for your Mother while I speak to Takeo here," The blonde Man suggested to the young Werewolf.
"Hmm!" Mina obliged to her Uncle's request, leaving the Office to find Yoonah.
Once the young Girl left the Office, Frankenstein gave his attention to Takeo. "Takeo, thank you for scouting Surry. This past Nine Years has been difficult," He said, remaining hopeful to reunite with Raizel.
"Have you found any clues on master's whereabouts?" Frankenstein asked the purple-haired Sniper,
Takeo nodded, taking out a Magazine he'd gotten at a nearby Convenient Store. "About that," He handed the Children's Fashion Magazine to the Modified Human, receiving a questionable expression on his face. "Seems we were so busy finding clues in the traditional sense that we forgot to check somewhere that was right before our eyes."
Frankenstein wasn't sure what Takeo was talking about. He decided to humor him and took a look at the Fashion Magazine for Children. "I must say, this is rather unorthodox, Takeo. How can a Fashion Magazine can locat…e…" Upon turning to the next page, his eyes widened when he saw what was featured on it.
The Modified Human eyes laid on his master as a Nine-Year-Old Boy posing for the Camera that took his Photo. "W-Where did you find-" Frankenstein quickly looked through the Magazine, seeing many more Photos of him.
Takeo felt a surge of Power within his Boss; most likely the Dark Spear reacting to his Emotions. "Boss, calm down!" The purple-haired Sniper pleaded, understanding that he was angry for not simply looking at the Media more. "I understand that you're mad about missing something that could make the search for Rai more simpler. But look at the Date."
Frankenstein looks at the Date of the Magazine's publication, "It's published recently, the Industry that produced these magazines a few Weeks ago." He concluded, examining the Magazine before asking his Subordinate something. "Where did you get this, Takeo?"
"I got it after helping a young Girl who was about to be attacked by a Werewolf," Takeo informed his Boss about what happened during his Mission.
"A Werewolf?" Frankenstein was surprised to hear that there were still Werewolves attacking the Human World. "Muzaka's Werewolves shouldn't be attacking Humans, let alone Children…unless it's those types of Werewolves outside of the Werewolf Territory, then it makes sense..." The blonde Man ponders, remembering another kind of Werewolves outside of Lukedonia.
"In any case, Takeo how is that young Girl you saved from this Werewolf?" Frankenstein asked, living up to his master's values; wanting to make sure that the Girl was safe.
Takeo smiles, replying to his Boss's question. "The Girl's safe, however, it isn't me that saved her from the Werewolf." The Sniper informed his fellow Modified Human. "It was him,"
Frankenstein was confused at first before processing what he said. His blue eyes look up at the Purple-haired Man. "Takeo…you mean to say that you met…master?" He asked, a feeling of excitement arising from his chest, seeing their search had come to an end.
The blonde Man quickly held Takeo's sides, not thinking straight, only for the chance to reunite with Raizel. "Where did you meet him, Takeo!? Is he doing all right, is he in danger in any way!?" He asked,
Takeo felt his sweat dripping from the side of his face, replying to Frankenstein's questions. "H-He's doing fine, Boss. He's currently living with his Relatives," He informed his Boss about how Rai is fairing. "From what I've seen, Rai is doing alright. Especially when he decided to Model like Im-Suyi."
"R-Relatives? Since when did master have Relatives?" Frankenstein ponders what Takeo means by letting his Subordinate go from his grip. "And he started up Modeling? Well, considering Nobles are beautiful, it tends to bring attention from the Humans."
The Purple-haired Sniper nodded, continuing his report. "For the Relatives part-"
"It must be his current Incarnation's Relatives…I see…" Frankenstein said, following up after Takeo's Words. He nodded to himself, looking up, and was about to head out to search for him. "Right, thank you for informing me of this,"
Frankenstein went over to the coat stand, grabbing his coat. "I'll be gone for a while, I can count on you and M-21 to secure the Manor till I come back, am I corre-"
"Boss, there's something else you need to know as well." Takeo steps in front of the blonde Man, preventing him from going forward.
"Takeo, what are you-"
"Boss, Rai has requested us; more on you to do something for him that's important." The Purple-haired Man continued, stopping Frankenstein from leaving.
Frankenstein halted his departure, listening to Takeo who had a message from his master for him. "What did master say, Takeo?" He asked,
"Only that the Werewolf attacking the Girl we saved isn't the only one. He told me that the Girl we rescued wasn't the only one that these other Werewolves were after." Takeo explains to his Boss, "Rai wants us to search for those who were already taken by them."
The blonde Modified Human gave a hearty sigh and then smiled that his master still retained his kind-hearted Nature much like how he was in his previous Life.
Despite wanting to meet his master again, he can't disobey his request. Forgoing his original Plan to search and possibly meet with Rai.
"We need to look for information on the Victims of these disappearances," Frankenstein told Takeo, formulating a plan of action. "For one, what type of Victim these Wolves are hunting, and where and when they're going to strike."
The Modified Human looks at Takeo, "Takeo, I want you and M-21 to go around and find any place that these Rogue Werewolves will use to attack undetected by the Public." Frankenstein gave his orders, feeling a bit of nostalgia when giving them. "Alleyways, small corners, Parks, anywhere that someone can go missing at any given notice."
Takeo smiles, seeing that the blonde Man is enjoying himself from Rai's request. "Yes Boss, I'll find M-21 and get to it." The Sniper said, turning to find the Werewolf of their group.
Now that Takeo thinks of it, with M-21 here then there's a possible chance he could sense the Rogue Werewolves if they were to be close by.
Back with Frankenstein, after giving orders to the Purple-haired Sniper. He proceeded to return to his desk with the Children's Fashion Magazine that his Subordinate handed him.
He sat down back in his chair, relooking through the Magazine on the Pages that featured his master. Frankenstein hums, taking a closer look at the poses the Cameraman has taken of Rai. "I must admit, these People know how to get master's good side." He commented before switching to his Laptop and searching for information about his master.
A Day later, Rai continued to live his Life as always. Despite the current events with the Werewolves, the missing People, meeting Takeo, and Muzaka suddenly disappear, he's trying to keep the Life he has safe.
By that, he means to keep the People in his new lease on Life, his Relatives, his Schoolmates, and anyone he met this time around safe from harm. Even it means he'll have to use his full power as the Noblesse again.
The only time he used his Power was when he was an Infant, however at this moment. He's fully well prepared for what is to happen.
"Rai," The black-haired Boy was brought out from his pondering, gazing at his Cousin across the Lunch Table in their School. "I called you about a dozen times. You hardly ate anything today, what's with you?" Dudley asked, never seen Rai to be…distance.
True, Rai can act out of sorts most of the time; however, he always responds whenever his Name is called. But this time around, he's acting differently, "…" The young Noblesse remains silent, looking down at his Lunch, comprised of mashed potatoes, corn, and Chicken Fingers.
Ah, to have the taste of Ramen again.
Not only to be a picky Eater, Rai ate his lunch after Dudley pointed out he didn't touch it after the First bite.
Dudley continued to stare at Rai, starting to get worried for him. "Rai, is something wrong? You're not acting like yourself Today." The young Boy said, taking note of his behavior lately,
Rai was unable to answer his Cousin's questions, mainly because this involves the Supernatural. "…"
"Is it that guy you've been seeing?" Dudley asked, receiving a small reaction from the black-haired Boy. He sighs, having an inkling of a distant feeling with him. "Rai, you barely know the guy and you're worried about him? Mum and Dad don't know about him, but remember he's still a stranger."
The young Noblesse understood that Dudley was worried about him regarding Muzaka. In fact, he appreciates his concern for him. "I appreciate your worries for me and Muzaka. But I got it handled, there's no reason for you to be concerned over me, Dudley."
Whenever Rai uses someone's Name, Dudley knows that it's really important. Dudley nodded, leaving it be for now.
"However…" Rai then sighs, causing his Cousin to flinch. "I need…more Iced Tea."
The young Boy gave a confused expression at his comment. "R-Really?" He asked, still trying to understand his Cousin's thought process.
The School Day continued as usual except Rai was keeping a close eye on the School and keeping tabs on the People within. However, that left him rather…distracted from his Studies.
"Mr. Potter, are you listening to the Lesson?" A Teacher asked the young Noblesse, seeing him looking out the Window again.
Everyone stared at Rai, only for him to turn his Head back to the front of the Classroom, paying attention to the Lesson.
Forested Area
Deep within the Forested Area near Surry, the thick brush of greenery and foliage blocks the screams of agony. These screams were the screams of transforming Children and People.
"Hold it in! You can't get anywhere in Life by screaming!" A Female Werewolf shouted at the Children, many crying for wanting to return to their Families. "You will never go back to the Life you know! This is your Life now!" She shouted, causing everyone to cry in pain.
The Human Adults would try to comfort the many Children the Werewolves had gathered; however, the pain of their transformation was too much to even help them.
Off in the distance, Fenrir Greyback watched as his new Recruits were almost done with their transformation.
Fenrir chuckles, seeing his Army of Werewolves is growing by the second. Despite using Muggles to strengthen their Numbers for their eventual coup against Voldemort. "Fenrir, we've got a problem!" The Alpha of the British Werewolves turns to his Subordinate, hearing him call him in a despite tone.
"What is it, Montgomery?" Fenrir asked, getting peeved by his Pack Member. "I was enjoying the satisfaction of our Numbers growing. What's so important that you got to ruin it." The Werewolf asked, waiting for a reason from his Subordinate.
"I'm sorry but, Alexander; he hasn't returned since he went to the Muggle Town a few Hours ago!" Montgomery informed Greyback of the missing Pack Member.
Fenrir growls at the sudden setback to his Plans because of a missing Pack Member. "That idiot, he'll get himself caught and our Plans will be ruined." The Pack Leader gritted his teeth, trying to figure out a way to fix this.
"W-What are we going to do? If the Muggles know of our existence then the Ministry of Magic will come for us-"
"Shut it, Montgomery; I'm thinking of a way to rectify this setback," Fenrir shouted at his Subordinate as the Howls of their newly transformed Werewolves gave him an idea.
Fenrir turns to Montgomery, enacting his plan. "You'll be leading some Werewolves into that Muggle Town and search for that fool Alexander." He turns to the new Wolves, wanting to test them before continuing their recruitment. "Take a few new Werewolves and see how they fare, I want to see their capabilities before going against the Wizards." He commanded his Subordinate.
Montgomery nodded, following the Pack Leader's orders, and went to gather some of the new Werewolves.
