Shadow (Tsukasa) had been running from his clan when he had ran into Roslin on the street in a market. She had been about ready to steal some food when she saw him looking at her. It looked like he was trying to hide from some one or looking for some one. He locked eyes with her for a second time. "Why are you staring me down like that creep." Maybe because your beautiful. He laughs.
As he was saying this he was thinking "anyone it could be anyone they sent. I don't recognize her. Hopefully I can trust her even if its just for a night."
At this point he was not thinking about the can of worms he was about to open in this girls life. Or that she would open just as equally a can of worms in his life.
he grabs some fruit and bread and hides it in his bag and grabs her while he starts to run. she was complete lost as to what was going on. they got far enough away he turned to her and gave her half the food saying " here I know this is what you were wanting to take." She nods "yeh"
He nods and backs away. " Ill see you around."
She looks away for a second and he disappears into the shadows.
She heard a whisper "Brother is here." Roslin turns her head but no one is there. She had been hearing whispers like this for weeks. Saying "I feel like i'm legit going crazy." to her self as she walks to the end of the block to her apartment.
it had been a few days and he showed up again. This time he smelled of cigarettes really bad. "eww yuck" Sorry he says " I do not smoke its just so I do not smell." "Ok what ever you say there boy oh. I think you stink." She says while holding her nose. "You make no sense." as she lets go of her nose.
This time they took different foods. she wanted to make dinner not just fruit. "Maybe you should come over to my place. I'll make dinner. " she says while smiling at him. "I would love to but I really do not want to put you in danger." he says shaking his head. "You have been stealing food with me and your scared of putting me in danger. doesn't that sound a little backwards. dont you think." she laughs. He grins and smirks. "Ok maybe your right." "I'll make a deal if I come over I get to take a shower." he looks down at his clothes which had seen better days. they were ripped and she was thinking maybe he could fit in my brothers clothes. "Ok fine deal. As long as I can give you some new clothes so you dont stink my house up." Deal he says. so they walk to her apartment. "Just so you know I dont have anything worth stealing at my house." As she walks up the steps."Nah thats why your stealing food right smart ass." "Your right that was dumb to say." Just as they get to the door. she turns around hearing whispers again. she says huh? he hurrys her up and says "get inside now." wait you can hear them to. Ya just pretend you dont hear them at all and lock the door. they see a shadow under the door pass.
"We saw them enter we just dont know which apartment they are in. Stupid thieves." They feel a rush of relief as the steps recede down the stairs. Deep breath out and everything. She brings the food to the counter and starts dinner. She shows him the bathroom and then goes to get her brothers clothes.
When he comes out and puts them on she laughs. he waddles into the room I think theyre a little to tight are you sure these are mens pants? Yes unfortunately they are. He was emo. "Oh" he says "This is going to take a while to get use to." Sorry can i wash the old clothes. He nods yes. I'll sew them up as well. I'd appreciate that normally I do that myself. Wait you know how to sew. I thought only girls knew how to sew along with military. Yes I was taught when I was younger. Ok then. she says as she goes to grab plates for dinner. It's almost done. I made my families recipe of enchiladas. Are they spicy? um not that i can tell my family can't handle spice at all. I was the odd one out along with my mom. when she was pregnant with me she use to eat jalapeños out of a jar. At least thats what she told me. Me i like serrano peppers and green dragon sauce. Why do you not like spicy? "Um no I just wasn't raised on it we had fish and rice for every dinner and natto for breakfast. We didn't eat lunch." You must have been poorer then I was." Ya i guess you can say that. " She turned her head to the window hearing a whisper again. She goes to shut it.
They sit to eat and he asks you heard a voice earlier and said huh? was it a males voice? Yeah it was how did you know? You can hear them? He was thinking how can she hear the others? "Yes I can hear them." as she has a smart Alec attitude. After they finish dinner he says thank you. "Do you want me to stay and help with the dishes?" "Wait you would help me with the dishes"...shes thinking where in the world did this guy come from? "are you an alien or some thing?" "No I've just come to eat your brains" "Thats zombies not aliens silly." they both giggle. He says thank again for the food and heads to the door. "Your welcome please come back it was nice to have you" He opens the door and says "I'll see you soon." she waves.
He walks down the stairs wondering is this what its like to be normal? I think I like this.
She locked the door and slid down the door crying. "I'm such a fool." There is never going to be a guy that likes me. She goes and takes a shower and gets in bed curled up to her favorite stuffed animal. looks down at her stuffed animal and throws it saying "god I'm such a child." I cant believe he caught me talking to the voices. Ah she screams into her pillow.
The whole time argus has been watching them from the neighboring roof. confused AF. What is going on. he sees heat signatures walking on the roofs inside and up the walls. Humans climbing walls?
They seem to be following this man that is conversing with Roslin.
He stopped watching her for a minute to rewind his video of them talking. she has a weird humor even for a human, but its like our humor dry. I think she will fit in nicely.
He presses a button on his wristlet. drones come out with no sound. expanding into a ball form. he has full 360 video from this tennis ball sized drone. To think this is old teck.
He pulls up her information on his 3d screen projected out his wristlet. he touches her face on the image and it pulls up her file. Danger Danger written in red ribbons all over. Dangerous person. bounty has been set for 1,000,000. crowns. her bounty went down. I need to be carful how much i record of her I do not want another swiping her.
She falls asleep with her bedroom windows open. his camera had been letting him know that she was falling asleep. He jumps across the roofs to her building to climb in her window. he slowly with out a sound walks up to her and caresses her face. Soon enough you'll be with me on my planet little princess. just as he finishes thinking this the door opens to the house and he sneaks back out side the window leaving the camera in the house.
The brother had came home. Max is that you? Yah sis hey i know its late but i need to talk to you. Ok ill be right there. She puts her bunny slippers on and walks out to her brother. You had some one over i see! Ya we didn't do anything if thats what your implying just dinner. It's none of my business your old enough to do as you wish. he's the stealing the food for you right? Ok he says any ways I think this is the perfect time to tell you this then. In case it does get serious. When mom passed she told me you were adopted. "What?" Heres the paperwork. "I'm gunna hate this but this is going to be the only way to get close to her." human setting selected. as he presses his button he starts to change into a human. no more fangs and stripes and green color. Thank paya for nanites he says. Now for clothes he jumps into a nearby apartment and steals some then goes back to her roof.
Princess is not going to come quietly i will tell you that. as he finishes getting back into her apartment hiding in her closet. he gets a notification of other ships in the vicinity. another arbitrator has been dispatched. Damn it he says. almost forgetting where he was. No body heard thank god.
As they finish there conversation both max and roslin head to bed. he waits till she is asleep and curls up next to her and whispers in her ear. Telling her who she is and everything about her like he does every week. She sleeps and dreams of these things.
This time he did some thing different he grabbed her stuffed dog thingy and put it back into her arms. He says as childish as you are you are still mine. I want you to be happy.
kisses her forehead and climbs out the window.
each time i leave her it is becoming harder and harder to leave her here.
