"Thanks Frostdust" I sigh as we continue walking to the fresh-kill pile together "your welcome" she says then continues "but don't think I did it because your my friend,I did it because now you owe me a favour"

then she glances at me "has it ever occured to you that you might have tripped because it's time to move to the nursery" she meowed annoyingly "I mean when I was in Mistclan all the queen's moved to the nursery the second they annouced they were expecting kits"

I did my best to tune Frostdust out but she just kept talking maybe I should move to the nursery I thought but,seriously just because I tripped-which Frostdust helped me play off- doesn't mean I have to move to the nursery-

Foggysmoke interrupts my thoughts and I Frostdust in the corner of my eye slowly backing away I sigh "what do you want Foggysmoke"

she's bouncing all over the place like an excited kit "guess what Gingerslip Cinderdawn told me to go with you to collect herbs together" then she tilted her head "come on Gingerslip"

I know this might sound crazy but I actually had fun with Foggysmoke until she went off and ruined it "so I've heard that Frostraven wants to become leader" I rolled my eyes of course she does

"and I've heard that Stormsplash wants to be leader" I rolled my eyes I didnt't give a fox dung about what my siblings were doing it was nothing compared to the grief I was about to feel.

I raced into camp dropping my herbs "Reedthrush!"I screech

I had taken my time with Reedthrush for granted and now he was gone

Stormsplash padded up to me and whispered "he was murdered,Fuzzywhisker pushed him under a monster,she's in the leader's den with Oakstar"

I felt my legs give way and whispered into Reedthrush's fur "why, Reedthrush I was expecting your kits" I paused

"I loved you"

Weedstep padded by "Reedthrush wasn't all that great I can't believe how we're all willing to ignore that,now that he's gone" then she went up to Fuzzywhisker and nudged her "good move"

Fuzzywhisker just stared at the ground I hear Auburnreed's wail as he notices Reedthrush and he sinks to the ground beside me I lean into him.I hope that another death didn't shake him too badly.
