Hello, Wanderingtree here,

So, I'm here to announce that my break is more or less over. Now, I said I'd take a break from writing this fanfic but honestly, I'm really enjoying what at store for this fanfic. So, I'm gonna try and be as transparent for the following:

1. This fanfic will take place two years before the main storyline in demon slayer.

2. There will be plenty of heartwarming moments with my OC as a whole. Of course there will be conflicts and tensions throughout, but I like wholesomeness.

3. For anyone familar with spinoff's like Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side: Sword Oratoria or Lion King 1 1/2, that's what this story is aiming to be like. Where the event's of my OC will mostly follow the main events of Tanjiro's story but will still have its original moments.

4. I'll be going over another round of editing with my other chapters. I'll do my best to be as consistent as I can for narrative purposes.

Background: Yuki was born into a rich family who held influence in the entire Chiba prefecture. He had been sheltered his whole life. Despite being the heir to his family name and fortune, He never developed the traits needed to become a leader or communicate with others. This has caused tension between him and his mother who never understood him the way his father and sister did. His family has built themselves a reputation of seeing into the future due to their wealth. Yuki and his sister were born and raised in Japan yet mostly learned western culture. Yuki himself is never seen without without a deck of cards to read off of and prefers to keep to himself. He had also been insecure of his height for the longest time. He has a slow mentality, but his struggles had never prevented him from being as kind and sensitive towards others.

My OC will hopefully grow and develop throughout the story, I hope this provides you all a general idea of what my character is supposed to be like.
