Harry paced back and forth in the Room of Requirement, his mind racing with possibilities. He had been doing a lot of thinking since his recent discussions with Sirius and Remus, and he had come to a monumental decision. The stakes were higher than ever, and protecting the people he cared about was paramount.

Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Neville watched him silently, all sensing the importance of whatever was about to unfold. Finally, Harry stopped, his eyes meeting Hermione's first, then the others.

"I need to make a decision," he said, the weight of his words evident in his tone. "Sirius is the rightful heir to the Black family, and it's time he formally takes his lordship. And as for the Potter family… I want Remus to represent me until I come of age."

Ron blinked in surprise. "But, Harry… Remus is a werewolf. You think the Ministry will accept that?"

Harry smiled grimly. "The Ministry might not like it, but they have no say in how ancient wizarding houses choose their representatives. The noble house laws are clear. And I trust Remus with my life. Who better to act in my place?"

Hermione's face lit up as she caught on to Harry's plan. "You're using the laws of the old wizarding families to protect your interests from Fudge and Umbridge!"

"Exactly," Harry nodded. "This way, we strengthen our side. The Black family has a lot of influence, and the Potter name still carries weight. If Sirius and Remus are recognized as heads of the families, it'll cause all sorts of problems for the Ministry. And for Voldemort."

Ginny grinned. "I love it. This could throw a wrench into all their plans."

Neville chimed in, looking thoughtful. "And with the support of the old families, you might even be able to protect people better—like the families of the DA members."

Harry's expression softened. "That's the idea. If Sirius takes his place as Lord Black and Remus as my proxy, they'll have the authority to push back against Fudge's policies and protect those close to us."

The group exchanged determined looks. They all knew it wasn't going to be easy. But Harry had made his decision, and there was no turning back now.

...

That evening, Harry sat alone in the Gryffindor dormitory with the enchanted two-way mirror in his hands. He took a deep breath before calling out, "Sirius? Remus?"

The mirror shimmered, and a moment later, the grinning face of Sirius Black appeared. "Harry! What's up, kid? Something on your mind?"

A moment later, Remus's face appeared alongside Sirius's, a calm but curious look on his face. "Harry," Remus said with a small smile. "You look like you've been thinking about something important."

"I have," Harry admitted, and his tone caught both of their attention. "I've been thinking about the future. About protecting the DA and the people we care about."

Sirius raised an eyebrow. "Go on."

"I need you both," Harry said, his voice steady. "Sirius, I want you to take your place as the Lord of the Black family. Officially. And Remus… I want you to act as the Potter family's representative."

Both men were stunned into silence for a moment. Sirius was the first to recover, his trademark grin spreading across his face. "Well, well… Lord Black, huh? I always knew I had it in me."

Remus, however, was more reserved. "Harry… are you sure? I mean, I'm a werewolf. The Ministry—"

"I don't care what the Ministry thinks," Harry interrupted firmly. "You're the best person for the job. You've always been there for me, and I trust you more than anyone. The Potter family name is mine, but until I'm of age, I want you to handle its affairs."

Sirius chuckled, nudging Remus. "Looks like you're getting promoted, Moony. And to be honest, Harry's right. The Ministry's been after us for too long. It's time we fought back properly. The Black family has influence, and so does the Potter name. With the two of us leading, we can really shake things up."

Remus finally smiled, though it was a bit more subdued. "If you're sure, Harry. I'll do it. But we need to be prepared. This move will attract attention, not just from the Ministry but from other powerful families."

"I know," Harry said, "but we need that attention. We need to show everyone that we're not just playing defense anymore. We're taking control."

Sirius grinned even wider. "Then it's settled. I'll handle the Black family affairs, and Moony will act on behalf of the Potters. This is going to be fun."

Harry let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding. The plan was in motion.

...

The imposing marble walls of Gringotts loomed before Sirius and Remus as they approached the entrance to the wizarding bank. It was early morning, and the air was crisp, a perfect contrast to the intensity of the mission ahead. Harry had trusted them with this monumental task, and both men were determined to see it through.

Sirius glanced at Remus, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You ready for this, Moony? We're about to deal with the goblins. Never know what sort of trickery they've got up their sleeves."

Remus gave him a calm smile. "I've dealt with worse than goblins, Padfoot. Besides, it's not like we're trying to rob the place."

Sirius chuckled. "True. We're just about to legally take control of two of the most influential wizarding families in history. No pressure."

As they entered Gringotts, a goblin with sharp eyes and an even sharper quill greeted them. "Name?" he asked brusquely, not even looking up from his parchment.

"Sirius Black," Sirius said, his voice filled with authority. "I'm here to claim my position as the Head of the Noble House of Black."

The goblin's eyes finally lifted, scanning Sirius from head to toe. A thin, calculating smile crossed his face. "Very well, Lord Black. This way."

The two wizards followed the goblin through winding halls, deeper into the heart of the bank. They were led to a private chamber, ornately decorated and filled with ancient scrolls and ledgers that chronicled the wealth and power of wizarding families for centuries.

"Lord Black," the goblin said, gesturing to a large desk. "Before you can formally reclaim your family's title, we must review your bloodline and ensure your claim is legitimate. I assume you have no objections?"

Sirius smirked, rolling up his sleeve. "Go ahead. Let's get this over with."

A small, enchanted knife appeared in the goblin's hand, and with a swift motion, he pricked Sirius's finger. A single drop of blood fell onto a parchment on the desk, which glowed faintly before ink began to appear on its surface, tracing the Black family lineage.

The goblin's smile widened as he saw the result. "It is confirmed. You are the rightful heir to the Noble House of Black. Congratulations, Lord Black."

Sirius exhaled, the weight of the moment settling over him. For so long, he had been a fugitive, an outcast, and now he had reclaimed his family's name and legacy. The thought of his family—his parents, his horrible cousin Bellatrix—crossed his mind, but he pushed it aside. This was about rewriting the legacy of the Black family. A new beginning.

He turned to Remus, his eyes serious for once. "Now, for the Potter family. Harry has entrusted us with his future, and I don't intend to let him down."

Remus nodded, stepping forward. "I'm ready."

Sirius turned back to the goblin. "As Lord Black and the legal godfather to Harry Potter, I appoint Remus Lupin as the proxy and legal representative for the Potter family, in accordance with wizarding law and Harry's parents' wishes."

The goblin raised an eyebrow. "A werewolf acting as a family representative? That is... highly unusual."

Sirius leaned forward, his tone turning icy. "And yet perfectly legal. Do you have a problem with the laws of our world, goblin?"

The goblin hesitated for a moment before shaking his head. "Of course not. As long as the magical records confirm the Potter family's appointment of Mr. Lupin, we will honor it."

A separate parchment was brought forward, this time tied to the Potter family vaults and holdings. Remus stepped up, repeating the same process Sirius had gone through. As his blood hit the parchment, the names of the Potters and Lupins appeared in elegant script, signifying the official transfer of proxy powers.

"It is done," the goblin said, slightly begrudgingly. "Remus Lupin is now the legal proxy of the Potter family, representing all of Harry Potter's interests until he comes of age."

Sirius clapped Remus on the shoulder. "Well, that's one for the history books. Two of the most powerful families, now firmly in the hands of the right people."

Remus smiled slightly, though he still seemed hesitant. "I'm not sure how I feel about this, Sirius. This is… more than I ever expected."

Sirius grinned. "I know, Moony. But we're doing this for Harry, for the future. We can't let people like Fudge or Umbridge push us around anymore. It's time we start fighting back on our terms."
