Instead of Ash being the protagonist, what if in this alternate universe, Jessie and neither of her traveling companions are part of Team Rocket? What if Jessie goes on her Pokémon journey? Does she have what it takes to be a Pokémon master?

53. The Adventures With Mew (Movie)

The movie starts with nothing but blackness as we hear what sounds like humans talking.

"Where… am I?" A different voice said it was deep and menacing.

It shows a transaction like someone or something opening their eyes to reveal that they're in a glass tube and hooked up to wires.

"What is this place?" The thing looks down to their hands, they are not human-like at all.

Meanwhile, outside of the glass tube, a scientist noticed the humanoid figure in the large glass tube was awake.

"N-no way!" The scientist said in shock. They slowly approach the glass tube containing the humanoid figure.

The humanoid figure begins communicating with the scientist, telepathically. "You there! What is this place?"

"I-it's alive!" The scientist said, shaking their knees from being shocked. "BOSS! YOU MIGHT WANT TO SEE THIS!"

Another scientist walks towards the glass tube, looking at the humanoid figure with a grin. "Excellent, after many failed previous attempts to clone Mew, it finally worked!"

The humanoid figure now begins communicating with the head scientist, telepathically. "'Clone' 'Mew' what do you mean by those words?"

"Well it's simple, you're a Pokémon. I am your creator, Dr. Fuji." Dr. Fuji introduces himself to his creation.

"A Pokémon…?" The humanoid Pokémon questioned while looking at his hands.

Dr. Fuji nods. "Right. A Pokémon that I created by cloning Mew. Welcome to the world, Mew…two."

"Mewtwo… so I'm just a clone, a copy, I'm just in this Mew's shadow," Mewtwo replied.

"Oh my friend, you are greater than Mew, you are stronger than Mew, and mostly… you are much more powerful than Mew. We made sure you have very strong psychic powers with developed advanced techniques." Dr. Fuji replied.

Dr. Fuji and the other scientists start chatting like Mewtwo's not there.

Mewtwo begins getting angry. "These humans… They have a lack of care for me. Am I just a guinea pig to them? This… can't be it… NO!"

Mewtwo destroys the glass tube they were contained in and then proceeds to destroy the entire science lab, lots of metal hand-like facts come down to try to grapple Mewtwo, but easily destroys them with their psychic powers. The lab is now gulped in flames. Soon Mewtwo fled the lab from the roof, creating a hole in the ceiling, then Mewtwo proceeded to also flee the island, knowing it was about to explode.

Dr. Fuji looks at the sky, knowing this is the end for him and the rest of the scientists. "To create the most powerful Pokémon in the world, we achieved that goal and that's all I ever wanted."

It shows Mewtwo flying in the sky as the whole research lab blows up behind them, but doesn't look back at all.

Mewtwo begins talking to himself. "No human deserves to see me, as they only see me as just a project, not as a Pokémon. I shall stay hidden from humans' view for the rest of eternity."

Present year

The scene shows Giovanni looking at his laptop about the Mewtwo incident. "Legend has it that Mewtwo lies in the deep darkness of Cerulean Cave. Many trainers have gone to search for the Psychic Pokémon, but all have unsuccessfully succeeded, mostly because of the difficult strength of the Pokémon in Cerulean Cave." Giovanni shuts his laptop off. "Grunts!"

Two Team Rocket grunts immediately arrive behind Giovanni. "Yes, sir!" They both shouted.

"Get the helicopter… I'm heading to Cerulean Cave." Giovanni commanded.

"Of course, sir!" One of the grunts responded.

It cuts to the two Team Rocket grunts and Giovanni in a helicopter as they slowly arrive at Cerulean Cave and they land the helicopter outside of it. Then it cuts to Cerulean Cave where Mewtwo is with its eyes closed, then they slowly open seeing Giovanni approach them.

"Mewtwo, I had to see it to believe it," Giovanni says with a grin on his face.

Mewtwo starts using telepathy to communicate with Giovanni. "Who are you and what is your purpose for being here in this cave? If you're trying to capture me, I will use all of my power to prevent that from happening!"

Giovanni shakes his head no. "I am not here to attempt to capture you. I came here… to offer you a deal."

"A deal?!" Mewtwo says in shock. "What deal do you have in mind?"

Giovanni starts explaining his deal to Mewtwo. "You're a strong Pokémon Mewtwo, nothing is denying that, but do you want to be even stronger? Do you want to be the most powerful Pokémon in the world? A Pokémon with no weaknesses, a Pokémon that is impossible to beat in battle? I want to be the strongest Pokémon trainer in the world. Can we both make that happen as a team, as partners if you agree and accept my offer?"

Mewtwo starts thinking. "The most powerful Pokémon in the world… a Pokémon that can never be beaten…"

Giovanni nods. "With your psychic powers and my experiences of running things, together we both can take over the world if we want to."

Mewtwo looks at their hands and then back at Giovanni. "I am already strong, I don't need any help from you to take over the world."

"I can make your powers invisible, I know a way and I will show you if you agree to my offer," Giovanni replies with a smirk.

Mewtwo looks back to think once more and then looks back at Giovanni. "Very well, show me how."

Giovanni smirks. "Good. Just teleport us out of the cave and I will."

Mewtwo teleports himself, Giovanni, and the two grunts out of the cave.

A few days later

Giovanni is looking at a letter he received and starts reading. "'Dear Mr. Giovanni, your submission for being a Kanto regional Gym Leader has been approved by the Pokémon League, welcome to the Gym Leader team.' Excellent!"

"Sir, you're going to be a Gym Leader?" A Team Rocket Grunt asked.

"Correct, to demonstrate my strength, I will become a Gym Leader. Pokémon trainers will see how much I am a threat to them." Giovanni responded.

"But what city will your Gym be, sir?" The grunt asked again.

"Hmm…" Giovanni begins to think.

It cuts to an abandoned building located in Viridian City, as Giovanni and the Team Rocket Grunt are in front of it.

"This building shall be perfect. It has been abandoned for quite some time." Giovanni turns to the grunt. "Gather more of you and tidy up the place, that's an order!"

"Sir, yes, sir!" The grunt responded.

It cuts to the now in the Viridian Gym after the Team Rocket Grunts tidy up the building, also known as Giovanni's secret base. Mewtwo is seen getting armor put on over their body with Giovanni watching in the distance.

"What is the purpose of this armor?" Mewtwo asked.

"To make you more powerful and stronger of course," Giovanni answered. "You will see."

Present day

It cuts to the Team Rocket boss, Giovanni, in his secret base, the Viridian Gym, looking at the glass container with Mewtwo inside, covered in body armor as well.

One of the Gym guards outside of Viridian Gym approaches Giovanni. "Sir, you have a Pokémon trainer who wants to challenge you."

"Very well…" Giovanni responded.

It cuts to the battlefield of the Viridian City Gym, with the Pokémon trainer waiting for the Gym Leader, as Giovanni reveals himself and steps onto the battlefield.

"So… you wish to do battle with me?" Giovanni questioned.

"Yes! My name is Marcus!" The Pokémon trainer introduces himself. "And I'm challenging you for a Gym Battle! I heard no trainer has yet to win a Gym Badge in this specific Gym and immediately going to be the one to do it!"

Giovanni grins evilly. "I like that confidence you have, young man. How about we make it a simple one-on-one battle?"

Marcus nods. "You're on!" The challenger pulls out a Poké Ball. "Hitmonchan, I choose you!" Marcus sends out Hitmonchan to battle.

"Hitmonchan!" The Pokémon cries out.

Giovanni, still grinning, snaps his fingers. A hidden door rises to reveal the Mewtwo covered in armor as the Pokémon floats towards the battlefield.

Marcus' eyes' widened in shock. "Wh-what Pokémon is that?"

"My very special Pokémon," Giovanni answered. "Let's begin the battle, shall we?"

Marcus grits his teeth. "Hitmonchan, Mega Punch!"

"Hitmonchan!" Hitmonchan punches the armored Pokémon with great force.

However, the armored Mewtwo didn't feel any harm at all from the Mega Punch.

"Hitmonchan?" The Pokémon cries in confusion.

"Mega Punch didn't affect it at all?!" Marcus said in shock.

Giovanni looks at the armored Pokémon. "You know what to do."

Armored Mewtwo starts glowing blue and then its eyes light up under the helmet and then Hitmonchan is lifted up and forcefully hits the ceiling of the Gym then Hitmonchan crashes down back on the battlefield.

"Hitmonchan!" Marcus called out.

Hitmonchan slowly gets back up. "Hitmonchan…" then the Pokémon starts running towards the armored Pokémon, ready to Mega Punch it again.

"A fighter huh? Well, it is a fighting type." Giovanni chuckles to himself. "Finish it, now!"

Mewtwo starts forming a black ball of energy from between its hands then shoots it at the Hitmonchan.

Hitmonchan cries in pain. "Hitmonchan!" The move destroys Hitmonchan by getting hit by the move and immediately faints from the battlefield.

"Hitmonchan is unable to battle. The Gym Leader, Giovanni, is the winner!" The Gym guard declared.

"N-no way, it can't be." Marcus immediately recalls Hitmonchan back in its Poké Ball. "You're a messed up Gym Leader, man!" The challenger turns away and sprints out of the Gym immediately.

Giovanni rolls his eyes in response. Mewtwo floats back to the hidden door as it closes back. Giovanni heads back to headquarters in the back of the Viridian Gym and starts speaking. "Mewtwo… one of the most powerful Pokémon in the world. No Pokémon has the strength and power like Mewtwo and I have them right here, under my possession." Giovanni starts walking towards the laptop and starts typing in it. "Now, if I heard, Mewtwo was created after years of gene splicing and engineering of DNA experiments based on-"

Giovanni's laptop reveals the Pokémon that he is about to say to finish his sentence.

"Mew!" Giovanni continues explaining. "One of the most rare Pokémon out there. Some say people never even get to see Mew in person in their lifetime. If I have Mew in my possession, I can not only clone it any time I want, but I can lead an army of Mews, Mewthree, Mewfour, Mewfive, and so on! With so many powerful Pokémon on my side, I will be able to conquer not only Kanto but the entire world!" Giovanni starts typing on his laptop some more. "But who shall take on this task for me to hunt for Mew? Let's see here." He clicks on a folder of his Team Rocket members.

Cassidy, Butch, and Mondo, the original Team Rocket trio, pop up first on the laptop.

Giovanni growls. "Three complete idiots! I can't even trust them to steal a Magikarp. Next!" He clicks on the next agents.

Attila and Hun pop up next on Giovanni's laptop.

"They're much better and trustworthy than the three buffoons, but they had their downs before. Next!" Giovanni clicks.

Archer appears next on the laptop screen.

Giovanni thinks for a little bit, considering assigning Archer for this mission, but declines. "As much as Archer is one of my favorites, this mission isn't for him." He clicks once more.

The Iron-Masked Marauder appears next on the laptop screen.

"My number one agent, the Iron-Masked Marauder, also known as Vicious! The perfect option for this mission: tough, serious, cruel, ruthless, cunning, treacherous, selfish, reckless, and doesn't hold back when it comes to getting the job done, but they're currently in jail…" Giovanni thinks for a little bit. "I know what I have to do."

The scene cuts to the Kanto Regional Prison Facility with two police officers walking through the hallway of prison cells.

"Are you kidding me, someone did that?!" The first guard asked in disbelief.

The second guard nods. "Unfortunately yes and now we have to release him."

The two guards walk up to Vicious' prison cell, where he's currently doing push-ups.

"Hey, Vicious! Some dumbass paid your bail, you're getting out of here!" The second guard says.

Vicious stops doing push-ups to look at the two guards and raises an eyebrow. "You're serious?"

"I'm dead serious." The second guard responded. "Grab your things and leave."

It cuts to outside, where Vicious is out of his prison uniform and back in his regular clothes. He leaves the prison facility with his items in his hands. As Vicious steps on the streets, a man in a trench coat, his face hidden with his top hat approaches him.

"The Iron-Masked Marauder, my number one!" The trench-coated hidden person says.

Vicious immediately recognizes the voice. "Giovanni… so you're the one who paid my bail." He grins.

Giovanni takes the top hat off to reveal himself. "That is correct, my number one." He grins back. "You see, I got an extremely special mission for you and I believe you're the only one to get the job done."

"What's in it for me?" Vicious asked. "The last time I tried to do one of your missions, I got arrested and sent to jail."

"Was paying your expensive bail not enough?" Giovanni asked, rhetorically.

"Hmm… fine. Just tell me what your mission is for me." Vicious says.

"Excellent. Follow me." Giovanni commanded.

It cuts back to Giovanni's secret base, back in his orange businessman suit with Vicious following him from behind. They walk towards the container with an armored Mewtwo in it.

Vicious looks at Mewtwo amazed. "Whoa… I have never seen that Pokémon before."

"That is Mewtwo, my friend. One of the strongest Pokémon in the world. I learned that this Pokémon was created by DNA cloning, from a Pokémon named Mew…" Giovanni shows a picture of Mew on his laptop.

Vicious looks at the picture of Mew. "I see."

Giovanni starts strategizing. "If I have my hands on Mew, I will clone that Pokémon many times to have an army of strong Mew clones and use it to take over the world. If you can get me this Pokémon: you will be rich, you will be the leading commander, you will get your very own powerful Mew clown, and we both will be the most powerful people in the world. We will be the unstoppable duo. This is an offer you can't refuse, my friend."

Vicious thinks about the offer. "So, if I help you get this Mew in your possession, we both will be an unstoppable duo, huh? I do like power and being in charge." He grins. "I'm in!"

"Excellent, number one! This is your most important mission of all time. And I'll say this right now." Giovanni stares right at Vicious with the most serious expression he has on his face. "Do. Not. Let. Me. Down!"

Vicious bows. "I'll try my hardest to not, boss."

"Good. I still have your gear all ready and set up, just in case you return one day. Follow me." Giovanni starts leading Vicious to where he keeps his gear.

Vicious nods in approval. "Wow, you sure have come prepared, boss."

It cuts to Vicious putting all of his iron gear on with his futuristic equipment as well.

"Take this." Giovanni hands Vicious a purple Poké Ball with the letter M on it that he contained earlier from Archer. "This is the Master Ball. It will catch any Pokémon without fail. I want you to use it specifically and only on Mew, got that? I trust you with this special Poké Ball."

Vicious nods and accepts the Master Ball. "I will catch Mew, boss. I won't let you down."

In the sky, The Iron Masked Marauder flew with jetpacks attached to the back of its metal iron gear. Vicious activates one of his new gadgets installed, his Mew tracker "Mew… you will be mine!"

It cuts to Mew flying around randomly in a random area and minding its own business. "Mew!" The Pokémon cries out.

Pidgey and Spearow fly above Mew, and a bunch of Tauros run past Mew. Mew then proceeds to dive into a nearby lake and sees Magikarp, Goldeen, Staryu, and Poliwag swimming around, then Mew proceeds to float back up on the surface and back levitating on land.

"Mew!" The Pokémon cries out in joy. But a Master Ball comes flying in and almost hits Mew, but the Pokémon barely dodges it.

Mew was confused. "Mew?"

The Iron Masked Marauder reveals himself to the Pokémon. "Mew… about time I find you." He then picks up the Master Ball he threw earlier. "I was sent to capture you, so stay still!" Vicious throws the Master Ball towards Mew once more.

"Mew!" Mew flies out of the way once more, avoiding automatic capture.

Vicious growls in frustration. "The only way I'm capturing you is by taking your powers away. Take this!" The Iron Masked Marauder aims his arm cannon at Mew and blasts it at the Pokémon.

"Mew!" Mew quickly teleports out of the way to dodge it, but the blast follows Mew and strikes the Pokémon. "Mew!" Mew cries in pain as it falls to the ground.

Vicious laughs. "I had my arm cannon targeted to hit you. Now… stay still so I can capture you!" The Iron Masked Marauder picks up the Master Ball and is ready to throw it.

Mew slowly opens its eyes weakly. "Meeeeeeeeeeew!" The Pokémon screamed out, as Mew started glowing white, causing The Iron Masked Marauder to stop what he was doing.

"What?" Vicious said in confusion. He immediately pulls out a small gadget of his and throws it towards Mew, attaching it to one of the Pokémon's tiny legs.

Mew uses all of its power to use Teleport and teleports to a different location that's far away from The Iron Masked Marauder, to escape.

"Of course! That Pokémon still had a little power in it!" Vicious stomps the ground in anger. "Doesn't matter, whatever location it ends up, Mew will have no more power and I will capture it! Plus, I can track it with that gadget on its leg." The Iron Masked Marauder activates his jetpack and starts flying in the air. "Mew… whatever you are, I will capture you if it's the last thing I'll do!"

The scene now focused on the forest, going through it and seeing a bunch of Pokémon like Doduo running by a Bellsprout and Weepinbell communicating as it points up to the sky with Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Spearow, and Fearow flying through the air. Then it shows Tangela hanging by a tree, who turns out to be an Exeggutor but doesn't mind. The narrator starts speaking.

"The world of Pokémon! Such a magical world that no human can explain its origin!"

It shows a beach as Krabby and Paras are seen battling each other as the narrator continues speaking.

"Many Pokémon can battle each other!"

Then it shows a forest area as Oddish and Jigglypuff are communicating and enjoying each other's company. The narrator continues talking.

"Many Pokémon can also be friends with each other as well!"

"Many Pokémon trainers can battle Pokémon with each other!"

The scene cuts to two random trainers battling with a Seel and Sandshrew.

One of the Pokémon trainers commands their Sandrew. "Fury Swipes, Sandrew!"

"Dodge it, Seel!" The other Pokémon trainer countered.

"Sandrew!" Sandrew's claws start to glow while and tries to swipe Seel Multiple times, but Seel keeps dodging by moving out of the way.

The Seel's Pokémon trainer now makes their move. "Ice Beam!"

"Seel!" Seel opens its mouth and shoots out a beam of ice, striking Sandrew and freezing the Pokémon.

"NO, SANDREW!" Sandrew's trainer shouted in disbelief.

The narrator begins talking again. "Some trainers want to just befriend Pokémon and take care of them like pets!"

It cuts to a different female Pokémon trainer hugging her Magnemite.

"I love you, Magnemite!" She says with a huge smile on her face.

Magnemite expresses happiness, enjoying being hugged by its trainer. "Magnemite!"

"And even some trainers want to trade their Pokémon as well!"

It cuts inside a Pokémon Center, with two different Pokémon trainers both placing a Poké Ball inside the trade machine one of them clicks the forward button and the trade happens.

"Awesome! I finally got a Vulpix!" One of the trainers said in delight looking at the Poké Ball.

"Now I have an awesome Growlithe on my team!" The other trainer said in delight.

"Come on out!" Both trainers said while throwing their Poké Balls up in the air and sending out their newly traded Pokémon.

Both Pokémon cried out in joy as Vulpix and Growlithe pounced onto their new trainers with love.

"At the end of the day, humans grew to live with their Pokémon and Pokémon grew to live with humans like one big happy family!"

It cuts to the under the ocean as a bunch of water Pokémon are swimming: Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath, Tentacool, Tentacruel, Horsea, Seadra, Goldeen, Seaking, Magikarp, and a Gyarados were all seen swimming under the ocean until it ascended to the surface, where we see the sixteen-year-old girl, Jessie, looking and smiling.

"Including this sixteen-year-old girl, Jessie, who dreams of becoming a Pokémon Master one day! With seven badges to her name, she just needs one more to get into the Pokémon League! With her friends by her side-"

It shows a close-up of Domino.

"Domino!"

Then it shows a close-up of James.

"James!"

Then it shows a close-up of Jessie's Pokémon, Meowth, on her shoulder.

"And her Pokémon, Meowth!"

Then it shows a close-up of Jessie's rival, Leaf, since she was in High School with her.

"And alongside her rival Leaf, making Jessie more determined than ever, maybe she does have a chance after all!"

It pans out to reveal the gang is riding Leaf's Lapras along with her on the ocean.

"Hey guys look, land!" Jessie spots land from afar, which causes her to smile in the first place.

Domino frowns. "Man, I wanted to ride on Lapras' back some more!"

Meowth rolls his eyes. "Quit whining, cry baby.

"Why couldn't we just ride a boat?" James asked.

Leaf grins and chuckles. "Because my Lapras is the best and faster than some lame boat! Right, Lapras?"

Lapras expresses happiness when they look at Leaf. "Laa!"

"Our heroes along with Leaf are heading off to Viridian City to challenge the Gym Leader so that Jessie and Leaf can get their last requirement badge for the Kanto Pokémon League!"

A tune starts to kick in as we see the gang and Leaf looking in the distance while Lapras is carrying them through the ocean.

(On the road, on the road)

Jessie and her Pokémon on her shoulder, Meowth, look at each other and smile happily.

(On the road, on the road)

Jessie looks at her rival Leaf who looks back and they both nod.

(On the road to Viridian City)

A Magikarp hops over the Lapras, Leaf, and the gang as they stare in delight.

(I'm on my way, I'm on the road, I'm on the road)

Domino throws a Poké Ball toward the Magikarp, trying to capture it, but she misses because of Magikarp lands back in the water the gang just laughs and then Domino laughs with them.

(On the road to Viridian City)

Jessie puts one of her hands in the water to feel it in delight.

(Yeah, yeah. I'm on the road)

Jessie felt something biting her hand and immediately pulled it out of the water and it was a Wartortle that immediately let's go to jump back into the water.

(We've built a team and we've been

training all day long)

It shows a close-up of Jessie smiling and staring off into the distance with her current team slowly fading into Meowth, Electabuzz, Blastoise, Rapidash, Scizor, and Gengar.

(We're on the road and getting strong

It shows flashbacks of Jessie winning battles against many other Pokémon trainers throughout the series.

(Now here's the plan: We're gonna head down to the forest)

The flashbacks show Jessie exploring the forest with Domino and Meowth.

(Time to collect some Pokémon)

The flashbacks show Jessie catching: Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgeotto, and Pikachu in the Viridian Forest.

(Gotta catch 'em all, gotta catch 'em all)

Then the flashback capturing extends to Jessie catching Elekid, Magikarp, Nidoran, and Squirtle.

(We keep on tryin')

Then it shows Jessie capturing: Shellder, Ponyta, Shiny Diglett, Haunter, and Snorlax.

(And then we try some more)

Finally, it shows Jessie capturing Scyther as the flashbacks end and it goes back to the present time.

(To stay together and find a place worth fighting for)

It shows Jessie clutching her fist in confidence from heading to Viridian City to battle for her last requirement Gym Badge.

(I'm on the road I'm on the road to Viridian City)

It pans out to Jessie, her friends, and Leaf just riding Lapras as the transport Pokémon continues swimming close to land.

(Meet my friends along the way (I'm on the road))

Jessie looks back at her friends, Domino and James who give them a thumbs up for approval.

(We're on the road to Viridian City I got a badge and the power to play)

Jessie reaches into her purse to pull out her Gym Badge case to look at her current seven Gym Badges that she fought to earn.

(Gotta get there, I'm on my way, Gotta get there, Viridian City)

It pans up to the one empty Badge slot, Jessie looks at it and is full of determination.

(I left my home and now I see a new horizon)

Jessie has a quick flashback of her dragging Meowth with a rope on Route 1 who was wearing a cone as she starts slowly leaving Pallet Town.

(But one day I'll come back to Pallet Town (I'm coming back, coming back))

Jessie, while looking at the distance, starts thinking about her mom Miyamoto, and Professor Oak back at Pallet Town.

(I'm on the road to become the greatest trainer)

Jessie clutches her fist with determination.

(And I won't quit until I'm #1 (Gotta be the one, the 1,01))

Jessie lip syncs 'I won't quit until I'm number one' in perfect sync while raising her fist in the air.

(We keep on tryin')

Domino, Meowth, and James look at each other with a weirded-out expression from Jessie's sudden burst out.

(And then we try some more)

Leaf on the other hand was smiling and smirking from a distance, seeing Jessie being hyped.

(To stay together and find a place worth fighting for)

Jessie reaches into her purse to pull out a Poké Ball just to look at it.

(I'm on the road (to Viridian City) Meet my friends along the way)

Jessie goes over to hug her friends along with Leaf as well. Domino looks over at James with a blank stare, who looks blankly and stares back.

(I'm on the road to Viridian City)

It cuts to the underwater of the ocean, where a Gyarados submarine is seen.

(I'm on the road I'm on the road to Viridian City I'm on the road (to Viridian City))

It shows the Team Rocket trio: Cassidy, Butch, and Mondo, who are peddling the submarine to follow Jessie and her friends.

(We're on the road to Viridian City Gonna meet my friends along the way (C'mon let's play))

Butch argues about something to Cassidy and she turns around to argue back at him as Mondo just sighs in exhaustion.

It cuts back to the surface where Jessie is remembering all the Gym Battles she had with the previous Gym Leaders.

It zooms out to Jessie, her friends, and Leaf all riding on Lapras on the ocean and getting closer to land.

Jessie and Leaf are seen looking at each other with both of them nodding and having a confident grin on their faces.

Domino is shown hugging and taking care of her blue Pokémon egg by keeping it warm and wiping any stains on it with a washcloth.

James and Meowth are shown playing rock, paper, and scissors and Meowth keeps beating James, which is frustrating him.

Jessie pulls out her badge case, looking at the empty slot, the one badge she's missing and now has more determination in her eyes.

Leaf looks at her Lapras and pets her transporting Pokémon on the head with a smile. Lapras smiles back at its trainer.

Jessie pulls everyone together and holds her phone up high, ready to take a photo with everyone, including Leaf.

Everyone poses for the camera: Jessie makes a silly face, Meowth smiles from the top of Jessie's pink hat, Domino throws up the peace sign, James crosses his arms with a smile, and Leaf gives Jessie rabbit ears with her fingers as Jessie officially snaps the photo on her phone.

"This is a keeper!" Jessie says with a chuckle until she notices the bunny ears that Lead gave her in the photo. "Leaf!" She pouted.

Leaf chuckles. "Stop focusing on the photo! Look, we're landing!" She pointed out, that Lapras is very close to land.

Domino smiles in delight. "I had so much fun riding on Lapras' back! But I can't wait to land as well."

"Yeah… trying to find a comfortable spot to sit on Lapras' back was nearly impossible to find because of these blunt knots," James says, a little frustrated.

"At least we're landing," Meowth says.

It cuts to the gang and Leaf hopping off of Lapras and landing on the grass of the land.

Leaf turns to her Lapras with a Poké Ball in her hand. "You did great, Lapras. Thank you so much!" She recalls Lapras back in its Poké Ball.

Jessie, her friends, and Leaf are now on foot and walking. A few seconds of silence was occurring and no one was talking until Leaf decided to speak up.

"So… does anyone have information about this Viridian City Gym Leader?" She asked, curiously.

Jessie jumped into this conversation out of curiosity. "I would also like to know as well."

Domino and James look at each other before shrugging from the lack of knowledge about the Viridian City Gym Leader.

"Sorry, but we don't know anything about the Viridian Gym Leader. Hell, we don't even know if they're a boy or a girl." Domino responded with a chuckle out of embarrassment.

James wonders to himself. "This Gym Leader is so mysterious. It's like they just popped up in existence out of random."

Leaf looks at Jessie. "We should have a battle, Jessie. I got a feeling this Gym Leader is gonna be very difficult."

Jessie nods in response, agreeing with Leaf's statement. "Right! Let's have a training battle."

"I'm up for a Pokémon battle! Hell yeah!" Meowth says in excitement.

It cuts to Jessie and Leaf standing on opposite sides of each other to create their very own battlefield right in the middle. James declares himself to be the referee in this Pokémon battle. Domino was from the sides, but she was more focused on cleaning and taking care of her blue Pokémon Egg than the battle.

Both Leaf and Jessie pull out a Poké Ball, ready to start their battle. "I choose-"

However, before Jessie and Leaf could even start their training battle, something was glowing right in the middle of Jessie and Leaf's battlefield, which immediately caught everyone's attention.

"Oh my goodness, what's that?!" Leaf asked, with a very shocked expression on her face.

"I-I don't know at all," Jessie responded, also shocked as well, but a little scared as well.

"Just in case it's something deadly!" Meowth immediately climbs up to Jessie's shoulder to hide in her pink hat.

The glow slowly started to fade away out of existence and as it did so, a little pink, bipedal Pokémon was more visible to the gang and Leaf. The glow completely fades away and the pink Pokémon slowly descends to the ground, showing unconsciousness. The gang and Leaf immediately sprint towards the unconscious Pokémon. Meowth peaks while under Jessie's pink hat and jumps back down to the ground.

"Is… this a Pokémon?" Leaf questioned.

"Sure does look like one," James responded, before realizing something. "Wait a minute. Guys, haven't we encountered this Pokémon before?" He says, looking at Jessie, Meowth, and Domino.

"Come to think of it…" Jessie starts thinking.

Flashbacks now occur of the gang lost in Cerulean Cave and surrounded by Pokémon, then the same pink, bipedal Pokémon comes to their rescue by teleporting them out of the cave. Then it cuts to the gang in a maze-like area, face to face with an extremely giant Alakazam. The giant Alakazam was about to crush the gang with one of its spoons until the very same pink, bipedal Pokémon teleported them back to Saffron City to safety.

"This Pokémon has saved us a few times before!" Domino reminded them.

James nods. "That's what I was thinking. During Cerulean Cave and in Sabrina's maze."

Leaf was extremely confused in this situation by being absent in those events. "What?"

"You weren't there, Ms. Plant!" Meowth said, with a nickname, which Leaf grits her teeth in response to being angry.

"Here, the Pokédex will give us more information." Jessie reaches into her purse to pull out her Pokédex and points it at the unconscious Mew.

"Mew, the New Species Pokémon. A psychic type. So rare that it is still said to be a mirage by many experts. Only a few people have seen it worldwide."

"So Mew's its name," Jessie said, putting her Pokédex away.

James looks at the unconscious Mew and his eyes widen. "Um guys, I think we need to get Mew to a Pokémon Center immediately. It doesn't look good."

"It's been five hours and we still haven't seen a Pokémon Center since we left Cinnabar Island," Domino says, as her expression looks worried.

"James, may I borrow your map for a bit?" Leaf asked.

"Oh! Sure, Leaf!" James pulls out his map and hands it to Leaf.

Leaf looks at the map and starts observing where she, Jessie, and her friends are currently at. "Okay so we just left Cinnabar Island, we just arrived on land, so we should be… here!" Leaf points where they're all at and follows her finger up. "Pallet Town is close by, maybe my grandpa, Professor Oak, can help us out!" She hands James' map back to him.

"That's a great idea, Leaf! If there's any Pokémon problem that needs to be solved, Professor Oak can solve it for sure! Plus, I can visit my mom while we're there!" Jessie says with a smile.

Domino's light bulb on her head comes on as she gets an idea. "Jessie, you should catch Mew. That way, the Poké Ball containing Mew will safely be transported right to Professor Oak's lab!"

"Not a bad idea." Meowth nods in approval.

"Great idea, Domino!" James complimented. "Yeah, Jessie! Hurry up and catch it!"

Jessie nods and pulls out an empty Poké Ball, aiming towards the unconscious Mew. "Poké Ball, go!" She throws it towards Mew.

Before the Poké Ball could hit Mew to trigger the capture mechanism, the small gadget on its leg forms a large circle over Mew, blocking the Poké Ball from hitting Mew as the Poké Ball gets reflected right back to Jessie's hands.

"What?!" Jessie said, confused.

Leaf notices the small little gadget on Mew's leg. "Guys, look." She notified them while pointing at it.

The gang all looked at where Leaf was pointing and saw the small gadget from themselves, gasping in shock.

"That little object or whatever must've prevented me from capturing Mew!" Jessie says.

James starts thinking. "Hmm… that object was placed there by someone."

Domino frowns, looking frustrated. "That's terrible! Who would do such a thing?!"

"I'll just destroy it then!" Jessie looks at her Meowth. "Meowth, use Scratch and destroy that gadget!"

"On it!" Meowth's claws grow sharper and glow white, getting ready to scratch up that gadget.

James immediately stops Meowth from what he is doing. "Wait, stop Meowth!"

Meowth listens to James and stops what he is doing. "What's up, Jimmy?"

James starts explaining why. "We don't know who placed that object on Mew's leg in the first place. If we try to destroy it, it could set off an explosion or something that will kill all of us nearby. We should head to Pallet Town and let Professor Oak handle this. Better be safe than sorry."

Jessie, Meowth, Domino, and Leaf all nodded and agreed with James' statement as Leaf spoke up. "He's right. Just let my grandfather handle this. He can probably remove that gadget off of Mew's leg, hopefully."

"Alright, to Pallet Town we go. We better hurry!" James picks up and starts carrying the unconscious Mew. The gang and Leaf all start sprinting through the route to get to Pallet Town much quicker.

It cuts to the Team Rocket trio, spying on Jessie and her friends as usual.

"That's so unfair! Why can't a rare and valuable Pokémon just appear right in front of us like that?!" Cassidy says, obviously frustrated.

"The amount of luck the twerps have and the luck we have getting blasted off every single time." Mondo sighs in disappointment.

"Let's just follow them and steal that Mew at the very last second," Butch suggested.

Cassidy shakes her head no. "That Mew is so close to that twerpette's arms, we can't just steal it like that."

"Then I guess we just have to gain their trust. Let's follow them." Butch says.

"I have no idea what you meant by that, but okay!" Mondo agrees.

Team Rocket starts heading in the direction where the gang and Leaf went. It cuts to them running through the route until they finally reach Jessie and Leaf's hometown, Pallet Town.

Jessie stops to catch her breath while holding onto Mew in her arms. "We made it…"

Leaf walks by Jessie and shakes her head. "You will never win a marathon when you're already tired."

Jessie looks up at Leaf with an annoyed expression. "Wasn't planning to run one!"

Leaf just shrugs in response, walking past Jessie. "Then I guess you won't be fast enough when I…" Leaf teases Jessie by taking her pink hat. "Take your pink hat!" She immediately starts running.

Jessie starts to blush red. "Give me back my hat, Leaf!" Jessie gives Domino Mew before starts chasing her, trying to get it back.

Domino and James look around at Pallet Town, expressing amazement.

"So this is Jessie's hometown huh? Pallet Town." Domino stated.

James nods. "Yeah. It's a quite nice little town. Not bad at all."

"This is also the town where Jessie and I began our adventure together!" Meowth stated while looking at his trainer trying to get her hat back from Leaf.

Jessie tackles Leaf to the ground and immediately grabs her pink hat. "I'll be taking my hat back, thank you very much!" She puts it back onto her head. Leaf and Jessie are looking at each other and blushing while Jessie is on top of her before Jessie immediately gets back up to dust herself off and take Mew back from Domino. "Let's just go to Professor Oak's lab…" Jessie said and started heading to the lab.

"Right…" Leaf gets up and starts following Jessie to Professor Oak's lab.

Domino, James, and Meowth all look at each other at what just occurred before shrugging it off and following Jessie and Leaf.

Once the gang and Leaf arrive at the front door of Oak's lab, Jessie knocks on the door. A few seconds passed before Professor Oak answered it.

"Jessie? Leaf? What are you two doing here at my front door?" Professor Oak asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Professor, we need your help. This Pokémon is badly hurt and we need to heal it right away." Jessie says, looking down at Mew.

Professor Oak notices the Pokémon in Jessie's arms and immediately gasps. "Where did you find Mew?!"

Leaf answers her grandfather's question. "Me and Jessie were about to have a Pokémon battle before our eighth Gym Battle for training, but then it appeared right in front of us."

"And a Pokémon Center is far from here, so we were wondering if you could heal Mew for us, please," Domino added.

"Maybe I can do something, head to my lab and I'll try my best." Professor Oak says.

The gang and Leaf all head inside with Professor Oak closing the door. Oblivious that Team Rocket is watching them in the distance.

Cassidy smirks. "Professor Oak's lab, I hear that he takes good care of a bunch of Pokémon in his backyard. Maybe after we swipe Mew, we can swipe some other Pokémon as well."

"No thanks… Mew is good enough to get on the boss' good side." Butch responded.

"Also trying to swipe other Pokémon is hard work and you know how lazy I am," Mondo added.

"Okay, but I know they're not gonna let Mew out of their site, so how are we gonna get even close to Mew?" Cassidy asked.

"I think I have an idea," Mondo says.

It cuts inside Professor Oak's lab, Domino and James look around the area in amazement, since it's their first time being in Oak's lab.

"Wow, I haven't been in this lab for a while," Meowth says with a chuckle.

"I see that your Meowth I gave you is still chatting a lot, Jessie." Professor Oak says.

"Hey!" Meowth says, looking offended.

Jessie chuckles embarrassingly. "Yeah, he still is…"

"Alright, hand me Mew and I'll see what's going on with it." Professor Oak holds out his hands for Mew. Jessie hands over Mew to Professor Oak and the Professor starts examining Mew until he notices the gadget on Mew's leg. "What's this on Mew's leg?"

"Oh, we also saw it on Mew's leg when I tried to capture it. That gadget prevents anyone from capturing Mew." Jessie stated.

Leaf shrugs. "We believe someone must've put it there."

"And if we want to remove it, but we're afraid trying so will cause some type of explosion, which is why we went to you, Professor," James added with his statement.

"Are you able to do something, Professor?" Domino asked.

"I can identify what this gadget is on Mew's leg and see how it works. You kids made the right decision on not trying to remove it since it could be rigged with an explosive inside if anyone tries to remove it. I'll see what I can do." Professor Oak walks away from the gang and leaves to start doing experiments.

After a few minutes of the gang and Leaf sitting on the couch and waiting, they hear a knock on the door.

"Who could that be?" Jessie gets up and opens the door, she is greeted by three people with golden, green, and brown hair, wearing glasses and wearing lab coats. It was Team Rocket, but disguised as researchers, but Jessie was oblivious to their disguise. "Oh hello! Uhh, what are you three scientists doing here?"

Cassidy, in disguise, speaks up. "Sorry to admit this, but we are like researchers, not scientists, who just left Cinnabar Island. We saw you with your twer-" Cassidy immediately interrupts herself from her saying 'twerps' and possibly ruining their disguise. "Friends, with a Pokémon that sparked our interest!"

"So we followed you to Professor Oak's lab so we could gather information on this Mew Pokémon!" Butch followed up.

"So, can we come in, pretty please?" Mondo begged. "We're researchers after all!"

Jessie looks to her left then her right, expressing awkwardness. "Oh uhh… sure?"

"THANK YOU!" Team Rocket in disguise immediately yelled out, before making their way into Professor Oak's lab.

Jessie looks on and just shrugs, before closing the door. Meanwhile, Leaf, Domino, James, and Meowth were looking at the 'researchers' in confusion.

"Jessie, who are these people?" Domino asked as she grips tighter on her hold of her blue Pokémon egg.

Jessie answers Domino's question. "They said their researchers followed us here to learn more information on the Pokémon Mew that we found."

"Mhm! Mhm! Mhm!" Team Rocket in disguise immediately start nodding their heads fast.

"Hmm… okay then?" James says, still a little confused.

Time skips to everyone waiting for Professor Oak to finish experimenting with Mew.

Soon Professor Oak arrives at where they're at, holding onto Mew. "Thank goodness you guys got here fast with Mew."

Everyone immediately gets up from what Professor Oak said.

"What's up, gramps? What did you find?" Leaf asked.

Professor Oak reveals what the gadget is to the gang, Leaf, and Team Rocket in disguise. "This gadget is… a tracking device."

Everyone immediately gasped in shock. Team Rocket in disguise secretly huddles together as everyone's back is turned against them.

"Oh great… someone else wants to steal Mew before we do!" Cassidy says in a whisper.

"And what's even worse, when we steal Mew, that guy will be hunting for us now," Butch added with a whisper of his own.

Mondo also whispers to them but with a statement. "We got to do something. We need to break that device."

Professor Oak saw the 'researchers' huddling together and raised an eyebrow. "Um excuse me, you three, what are you talking about over there?"

The gang and Leaf soon turn around to face the 'researchers' once Professor Oak points them out. Team Rocket in disguise all gulped, before immediately stopping huddling to face them.

"N-nothing, just talking about something, researcher stuff!" Cassidy said, with a nervous sweat dropping onto her face.

"You three are researchers?" Professor Oak asked.

Jessie answers the question for them with a nod. "That's what they said at the door. They just want to have more research information on Mew."

"I have no time for questioning anyways, the point is that the gadget on Mew is a tracking device and that's only what it does… it's draining Mew's lifespan." Professor Oak said.

"LIFESPAN?!" Everyone yelled in response to Professor Oak's statement.

Professor Oak sadly nods and looks down at the unconscious Mew he is holding in his arms. "Luckily I was able to identify that the gadget doesn't have any explosives in it, so we should be able to destroy it, but every second passed, more lifespan of Mew's gets drained. We have to destroy it, right now! I was trying to, but this gadget is on good, tight. Not even scissors can do the trick."

Jessie turns to her Meowth. "Meowth, I need you here. Use Scratch on that device!"

"On it!" Meowth sharpens his claws and then scratches the device on Mew's leg.

The device on Mew's leg doesn't break from Meowth's scratch.

"You're right, Professor. This device is tightly attached to Mew's leg. How are we going to get it off?" Jessie questioned.

"Maybe if we keep using Pokémon move after Pokémon move, the device will eventually break?" Domino suggested.

"But wouldn't using move after move keep hurting Mew?" James pointed out.

"Unfortunately, Mew keeps losing life span every second this device is on, we have no other option." Professor Oak says.

"Meowth, keep using Scratch until that device breaks!" Jessie commanded.

Meowth's claws start glowing white once more and scratch the device on Mew's leg, but it doesn't break again. Meowth grits his teeth in frustration and then proceeds to keep scratching the device trying to break it. "Why don't you break, you dumb device?!" Meowth keeps scratching and scratching the device, but it won't budge until Meowth gives it one powerful scratch and with a battle cry, he manages to finally break the device off of Mew's leg. Meowth was taking deep breaths from using its energy to break the device. "There… it's off."

"Nice job, Meowth!" Jessie happily picks up Meowth and starts petting her talking Pokémon on the head.

Professor Oak smiles and chuckles. "I see you have been training your Meowth well, Jessie."

Meanwhile, disguised Team Rocket in the background both witnessed Meowth breaking that device and are extremely impressed. They started whispering to each other.

"After we steal Mew, we need to steal that Meowth once and for all," Cassidy whispered to her partners-in-crime.

Both Butch and Mondo nod in agreement. "Right."

Meanwhile, it cuts to the Iron-Masked Marauder jetpacking in the air, looking at its tracking device on Mew, but it suddenly cuts off from Meowth, breaking it off with a powerful Scratch.

Vicious immediately stops after the Mew's tracking disappears. "WHAT?!" He yelled out in disbelief. "Damn, that means whoever found Mew before I did manage to get that device off of it. It doesn't matter, tracking device or no tracking device, I always find my targets." The Iron-Masked Marauder goes back to jetpacking in the air.

It cuts back to Professor Oak's lab as everyone is looking at the unconscious Mew.

"Gramps, is there a way to snap Mew back to consciousness?" Leaf asked.

Professor Oak nods in response. "We just need a Hyper Potion and specifically a Hyper Potion to store its health back. It must've taken a beating from Meowth's scratches.

"I got some Hyper Potion." Leaf digs into her yellow bag and then pulls out some Hyper Potion for Mew.

"Excellent Leaf. May I see it?" Professor Oak asked her daughter.

Leaf nods and hands her grandfather the Hyper Potion. Once Professor Oak accepts the Hyper Potion, he sprays it onto the unconscious Mew, then he gently places Mew on the floor. Everyone forms a circle around Mew, including disguised Team Rocket, to see if Mew will finally gain back consciousness.

After a few seconds pass, Mew slowly opens its eyes and then it cries happily. "Mew!"

Everyone immediately smiles in joy once Mew is conscious again and crying happily.

"Mew is alright!" Jessie says, smiling with glee.

Mew gets up from the floor and jumps, trying to float but it falls back to the ground. "Mew?" It cries in confusion.

"What's wrong with Mew, Professor Oak?" Domino asked.

"The Hyper Potion did manage to heal Mew from taking those scratches from Meowth, unfortunately, it couldn't heal the damage that Mew did to itself and that gadget did too." Professor Oak explained.

Everyone started looking at Professor Oak with confused expressions on their faces.

"Professor Oak, what do you mean?" James asked.

"Tell me, youngins, how did you manage to find Mew in the first place?" Professor Oak asked.

Leaf decides to be the one to answer her grandfather's question. "Well, me and Jessie we're going to have a battle to prepare for the Viridian City Gym and that's when Mew suddenly appeared right in front of us."

Jessie nods at Leaf's statement and then she continues. "Mew was unconscious when it appeared right in front of us. A Pokémon Center wasn't nearby, which is why we sprinted to your place, Professor."

Professor Oak was listening to the whole story and then proceeded to nod. "So that explains it. When Mew teleported right in front of you, kids, it used up all of its power as the gadget on Mew's leg was draining it. Mew was most likely trying to escape from someone."

Mew tries to use its teleport, but it's no good. "Mew?" It cries out in confusion once more.

"So Mew was trying to escape from someone, huh?" James starts thinking.

Meowth crosses his arms. "I bet my cat-like tail that Mew was escaping from those three dumb members of Team Rocket. Cassidy, Mondo, and Buckie!"

Disguised Team Rocket begins gritting their teeth in anger, especially Butch from hearing his name wrong again.

"I'm gonna teach that smart-Meowth a lesson." Butch takes a step towards Meowth but is stopped by his partners-in-crime.

"Stop. You're gonna blow our cover, here." Cassidy says, holding him back.

"Yeah. Knock it off, man!" Mondo added, also holding him back.

Everyone looks directly at the disguised Team Rocket with confused looks and raised eyebrows.

"Are you three researchers alright?" Jessie asked.

Disguised Team Rocket immediately stands up straight with innocent smiles across their faces.

"Yep! Better as ever!" Cassidy says, still smiling cheerfully and innocently.

"No need to worry about us!" Mondo added, smiling cheerfully and innocently as well.

However, Butch isn't smiling. He just has an annoyed look on his face as he crosses his arms and looks away. "Yeah…"

The gang, Leaf, and Professor Oak then proceed to direct their attention off of the disguised Team Rocket and go back to the previous conversation.

"I don't think it's them, Meowth. I mean after many times of beating them, I think Mew can easily handle Cassidy, Butch, and Mondo all by itself." James explained.

Meanwhile, disguised Team Rocket in the background all fell on the floor in disbelief after what James said, but they immediately got back up.

"Is there a way to get Mew's powers back, Professor?" Domino asked.

"There is a way that you could restore Mew's powers. Gather around, everyone." Professor Oak ordered.

The gang, Leaf, and disguised Team Rocket all gathered around Professor Oak as he began to explain. "There's a theory going around that there appears to be a lake in the Andes Mountains that has the power to restore Mew and its powers once the mythical Pokémon is dipped into the water." Everyone's eyes widened after what Professor Oak just said.

"The Andes Mountains? Mountains are so beautiful!" Domino says with a delighted smile on her face.

Professor Oak nods. "Yes, the Andes Mountains are indeed great to look at, but going through them could be a tough challenge because of how cold it is and the recurring blizzards that happened in the mountains. Many people have tragically passed away from trying to make it to the top and some barely made it back down after giving up, which is why no one has on this very day."

"But…" Jessie frowns and looks at Mew, the Pokémon looks back at her.

"Mew!" The Pokémon cries back at her.

"We have to go there! So we can find the lake and restore Mew with its powers!" Jessie says with determination in her eyes.

"I have to say, Jessie, I do admire your guts, but are you sure?" Professor Oak asked. "Like I said, the mysterious lake is nothing but a theory as of right now. The only evidence they could find is a note that they found on the mountain that was left by a person who most likely sadly passed while on the mountain."

"You know how those mountains are dangerous, Jess, and I hate getting my fur cold!" Meowth complained.

Jessie nods in agreement. "I am very sure. Someone is hunting down Mew and I can't just stand here and let him do it, especially since Mew doesn't have its powers." She turns her attention to Mew. "Right, Mew?"

Mew cries in joy and hops into Jessie's arms. "Mew!"

Professor Oak sighs. "If you say so. The Andes Mountains are located in Guyana, South America. The first ever recording of Mew's cry was discovered in that country, where people say there is a lake for Mew there." Professor Oak looks at Jessie, Domino, and James. "I say good luck to the three of you."

Leaf immediately speaks up. "Wait, gramps, I want to go with them to the Andes Mountains!"

Professor Oak immediately shakes his head no. "No, Leaf! You're my granddaughter and I can't let you just go to a dangerous mountain!"

Leaf growls. "Come on, grandpa! I want to help Mew, too! Plus four heads are better than three after all!"

Cassidy whispers to her partners-in-crime. "Are they really forgetting about us?"

Mondo looks at Cassidy in disbelief at what she just said. "You want to go to those mountains?!"

Butch rolls his eyes. "Oh please, I'm not afraid of some stupid snow, the cold, blizzards, and all of that."

"Come on, Mondo, be a man!" Cassidy demanded.

"Excuse me, but did you two hear what Professor Oak said? People have died from exploring those mountains." Mondo reminded them.

"What doesn't kill us makes us stronger," Butch says.

"Fine, since Mondo is so scared, here's a different plan to snatch Mew." Cassidy gets closer to her partners-in-crime and whispers more quietly. "Once everyone falls asleep, we will sneakily grab Mew and then Ditto will transform into Mew to act like a decoy, and then we quickly get out of there with the real Mew in our hands!"

"Fuck yeah, I love that plan." Butch grins.

Mondo frowns in response to Cassidy's plan. "Well, I don't. We're leaving my Ditto behind."

"It's either that or follow the twerps to the Andes Mountains. Pick, Mondo." Cassidy ordered him.

Mondo groans. "Fine, I'll go with the switcheroo plan, but once we hand Mew to the boss, we're coming back for Ditto immediately."

Cassidy grins. "Then it's settled."

"And now we just play the waiting game!" Butch also grins as well.

It goes back to Leaf begging her grandfather, Professor Oak, to let her go with Jessie and her friends to the Andes Mountains.

Professor Oak shakes his head no. "For the last time, Leaf, it's too dangerous and you're my granddaughter!"

"It's okay, Professor. Let Leaf come with us." Jessie said with a smile on her face.

Domino nods. "Yeah! We will be happy to have Leaf's company with us."

"And let's not forget that we have a better chance of survival with Leaf tagging along," James added

Meowth says his statement. "As long as she doesn't bother Meowth, I don't care."

"You see? Jessie and her friends don't mind me joining them! So please can I join them, gramps?" Leaf begged her grandfather once more.

Professor Oak looks at Leaf and takes a big sigh. "Okay, since Jessie, Domino, and James even Meowth say they're okay with it then I guess it's fine that you go with them. Just be careful!"

Leaf's expression goes to happiness when Professor Oak finally agrees to let her go. "Yes! Thank you, gramps, I appreciate that!"

"Although I prefer that you kids go tomorrow and Jessie, I advise you to tell your mother that you will be traveling very far from Kanto." Professor Oak suggested.

Jessie nods. "I'm going to do it right now, Professor!"

Mew cheerfully walks over to Jessie, wanting to be picked up. "Mew!"

"Aww, you want to come with me?" Jessie chuckles as she picks up Mew and places the bipedal Pokémon in her purse. "There, you like being in my purse?"

Mew nods and cheerfully cries again. "Mew!"

"We will be waiting for you here, Jessie," Domino says to her with a smile.

Jessie nods. "I'll be back!" She waves goodbye before leaving Professor Oak's lab.

It cuts to Jessie with Mew on her shoulder arriving outside of her house. "My home… It's been so long since I've been here." She turns to Mew on her shoulder. "This is my home, Mew!"

Mew cries in joy. "Mew!"

Jessie knocks on the door of her house. After a few seconds past, her mother, Miyamoto, opens the door and her eyes immediately widen after seeing her daughter.

"Jessie?!" Miyamoto exclaimed.

Jessie chuckles and waves at her mother. "Hi, mom!"

Jessie's mom immediately hugs her daughter. "Oh my gosh, I miss you so much?!" She starts giving her kisses on her cheek now.

"MOM!" Jessie shouted, which caused her mother to stop. "We're outside! Can we go inside?"

"Oh, right. Sorry!" Miyamoto chuckles embarrassingly before spotting Mew on her shoulder. "Is that one of your new Pokémon?"

Jessie rubs the back of her head. "This is what I want to talk about with you."

It cuts to inside Jessie's house. Jessie with Mew and her mother sitting on the couch in the living room.

Jessie starts explaining to her mother. "Okay so first off, Mew isn't my Pokémon. Mew just needs help right now and it requires me to be very far away from Kanto to be able to help it."

"Mew!" Mew nods.

"Ahh, I see. What location are you going, sweetie?" Miyamoto asked.

Jessie rubs her head embarrassingly before taking a deep breath and finally answering. "Guyana, South America."

Miyamoto's eyes immediately widened. "Whoa… that's kinda far, sweetie."

"Yeah, I know. That's why it took a few seconds to answer. So… will you let me go to South America?" Jessie asked, nervously.

Mew smiles. "Mew!"

Miyamoto looks at Mew on her daughter's shoulder and smiles before looking back at Jessie. "Do you have your friends coming with you?"

Jessie immediately nods very fast. "Yes! They're all coming with me, including Leaf!"

"Well, if the purpose is to save a Pokémon, I guess I'll let you go then." Miyamoto agrees with a smile.

"Thank you! Thank you so much, mom!" Jessie immediately hugs her mother.

Miyamoto immediately hugs her daughter. "I love you, sweetie."

Jessie says it back to her. "I love you too, mom."

Mew cries out in joy from seeing a mother and a daughter hug. "Mew!"

It cuts back to Professor Oak's lab where everyone is waiting for Jessie to return.

"What's taking Jess so long?!" Meowth says, growing impatient.

Domino glares at the talking Pokémon. "Be quiet! They're most likely having a daughter and mother moment since it's been weeks since Jessie saw her mother in person."

The door opens and Jessie steps back into the lab with Mew still relaxing on her shoulder. "My mom said I can go since I'll be saving a Pokémon!"

Everyone, except disguised Team Rocket who is just minding their business, smiles in delight hearing Jessie's answer.

"That's awesome, Jessie!" James runs over to give her a high-five, but he trips and the journal flies out from his pocket and is on the floor. "Ow!"

Everyone, except disguised Team Rocket, ran over to James to help him up after tripping.

"James, are you okay?" Professor Oak asked.

James nods in response to the professor. "I am! Thank you all for helping me back up on my feet."

Meowth notices the journal that flew out of James' pocket and picks it up. "Jimmy, what's this?"

"Oh!" James immediately grabs the journal out of Meowth's paws. "This is just a journal I found when we four were in the Pokémon Mansion. I completely forgot about it over time…"

"What's inside the journal?" Leaf asked.

"Well I read the first two entries at the Pokémon Mansion and it was about Mew-" James then realized. "WHY DIDN'T I BRING THIS UP SOONER?!" Then he proceeds to facepalm to himself, which causes everyone to gasp.

"You mean that journal is about Mew?!" Jessie says in shock, looking at Mew on her shoulder.

"James, may I see that journal?" Professor Oak asked.

James nods in response and hands the journal to Professor Oak. "You can even keep it if you want."

Professor Oak opens the journal and clears his throat. Everyone, including disguised Team Rocket, gathers around to hear the professor read the entries of the journal.

Professor Oak starts reading the entries of the journal. "'Date, July 5th. Guyana, South America-'"

As Professor Oak continues reading the journal, it cuts to flashbacks of Dr. Fuji writing each diary entry in his journal of the words that Professor Oak is reading, but with Dr. Fuji's voice. "A new Pokémon was discovered deep in the jungle."

The flashback cuts to Dr. Fuji writing his second entry in the Cinnabar lab. "July 10th.

We christened the newly discovered Pokémon, Mew."

The flashback cuts to Dr. Fuji and other scientists walking through the jungle, where Dr. Fuji is seen writing his next entry in his journal. "August 6th. Today, my colleagues and I reached the site where an ancient civilization may have created a shine to Mew, the most powerful Pokémon to have ever existed."

Then the flashback cuts to the lab in New Island where Dr. Fuji and the other scientists are. Dr. Fuji is writing his next entry. "February 6th. After many failed experiments in cloning Mew, we finally succeeded. We gave it the name, Mewtwo!"

Finally, the flashback cuts to Dr. Fuji on the floor of the lab, writing his last entry before the lab's explosion after Mewtwo escaped. "September 1st. The Pokémon Mewtwo is far too powerful. It's no use… I cannot control it!" Dr. Fuji slowly gets up and walks to a safe where he puts in the combination, opens it, and places his journal in it, closing it, and then the explosion happens.

The flashback ends as it cuts back to present times in Professor Oak's lab as Professor Oak finishes reading the journal entries to the gang, Leaf, and disguised Team Rocket, who all are shocked after hearing the entries.

Jessie looks at Mew on her shoulder. "There's another version of you named 'Mewtwo'?"

Mew nods at Jessie's question. "Mew!"

"I heard rumors about Mewtwo. Some trainers say that they spot it in the depths of the Cerulean Cave." Leaf says.

"Well, we four have been down in the Cerulean Cave before, but we haven't spotted this Mewtwo Pokémon," Domino says, pointing at herself and her friends.

"Maybe we just haven't been deep in the cave enough?" James suggested.

Meanwhile, disguised Team Rocket are huddling and having a secret conversation with themselves.

"That Mew is more valuable than we thought!" Cassidy started the conversation with a grin.

Butch also grins with her. "Which means we have to try and steal it tonight! Just think about the boss' reaction once we hand that special Mew to him!"

"As long we're coming back for Ditto because I'm going through this plan unless we come back for Ditto," Mondo says with a frown.

Cassidy looks at Mondo with an annoyed expression. "We will Mondo, stop being a sourpuss!"

Butch nods. "She's right! Because this will be our greatest plan yet."

Meanwhile, Professor Oak flips the page of the journal and there's a new entry, which piques his interest. "Everyone, there's a new entry in this journal."Professor Oak also noticed handwriting was different from the other entries. "But the handwriting is completely different!"

Disguised Team Rocket breaks their huddle as everyone gathers around once more as Professor Oak begins to read the next entry with different handwriting.

Professor Oak clears his throat and begins reading. "'September 15th. Hello, my name is Martin, a Pokémon programmer, and was part of the experiment with Dr. Fuji to clone the very rare Pokémon, Mew-'"

Jessie, Meowth, Domino, and James all gasped once they heard the name Martin. "Martin was part of the project?!" They all said together.

Which led to Leaf being confused. "Who's Martin?"

Professor Oak continues reading the entry. "'I was the only survivor after Mewtwo escaped and blew up New Island completely. I managed to find Dr. Fuji's journal inside the safe. I was surprised that it managed to survive the blast, I guess that was one strong safe Dr. Fuji put his notebook in. I'm leaving the notebook in the Pokémon Mansion in Cinnabar Island so that Dr. Fuji's legacy will continue.'" Professor Oak flips through the journal to look for more entries but finds nothing. "That's it, that's all the entries in this journal. James, I think you should keep holding onto this journal." Professor Oak hands the journal back to James.

James accepts the journal back. "Oh, okay then, professor!" He puts the journal back in his pocket.

"I think we should call it a night everyone." Professor Oak says as he claps his hands and the lights in his lab go out.

It cuts to everyone in the lab sleeping with sleeping bags in the living room, except Professor Oak, who is still in his lab and typing on his computer.

"I need to gather more information about Mew. There might be more about it." The professor said to himself.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Domino slowly wakes up. "Can't sleep…" She then looks down at the blue Pokémon Egg she was cuddling in her sleep. "I have to find out what type of Pokémon you will be…" Domino then hears the sound of typing coming from the lab and decides to investigate.

Professor Oak was reading more information about Mew on his computer which intrigued him. "Wow, Mew is a very interesting creature…"

Oblivious to him, Domino is right behind the professor. "Professor Oak?"

Professor Oak immediately turns around in a panic and notices Domino. "Oh! Hi, Domino!"

Domino looks at Professor Oak's computer. "What are you doing, professor?"

"I'm just searching for more information about Mew, that's all. I did find some intriguing information about it." Professor Oak answered. "What brings you here, Domino?"

"Well, it's just…" Domino looks down at the blue egg that she's holding. "I received this blue Pokémon egg from a trainer after I traded him my Goldeen for it. He says it will hatch into a water-type Pokémon, but I'm not sure and I'm afraid that I got scammed. Is there something you can do?"

Professor Oak nods. "I see. Well, hand me the Pokémon Egg and I'll analyze it to see if there is a Pokémon in there!"

As Domino hands over her blue Pokémon egg to Professor Oak, he goes over to grab a stethoscope, puts it on, and places it on the egg. "If there is a Pokémon in there, I will listen to its heart beating inside the egg with this stethoscope."

Domino takes a deep breath and nods. "Okay."

After a couple of seconds pass, Professor Oak removes the stethoscope from the egg and takes it off. He looks at Domino and smiles, adding a nod. "There is a healthy baby Pokémon in there, Domino."

Domino perks up from the good news and smiles. "That's great! Well, I'm glad there's a Pokémon in there, but will it be a water type?"

"Well water type Pokémon are associated with the color blue and based on the design of the egg-" Professor Oak takes one glance at the egg. "I think it's safe to assume that I will be a water-type Pokémon!"

Domino jumps up in the air all happy. "Yes! I feel so confident! I can't wait for it to hatch!" However, Domino's happiness goes to confusion once she sees the camera of the living room behind Professor Oak on his giant computer. "Um… Professor?" She points at the living room camera on the screen.

"What is it, Domino?" Professor Oak turns around and looks at where Domino is pointing notices what's happening and gasps. "What are they doing?!"

It cuts to the living room where Team Rocket in disguise is looking over at Jessie sleeping while Mew is wrapped around her arm, also sleeping.

"Okay, ready Mondo?" Cassidy whispered.

Mondo nods before pulling out a Poké Ball. "Ditto, I need you." He whispered out before sending out the Pokémon.

Ditto materializes and is about to say its cry until Mondo closes the Pokémon's mouth.

"Shh. Don't wake anyone up." Mondo whispered at his Ditto, still covering its mouth, but once Ditto nodded, he let go of the Pokémon's mouth. "Ditto, can you transform into that Pokémon there?" Mondo points at the sleeping Mew.

Ditto starts glowing white and then successfully transforms into Mew. "Mew."

"Sweet. Now all we need to do is just slowly do the switcharoo." Butch says.

"I got this, don't worry." Cassidy cracks her knuckles before slowly approaching the sleeping Jessie and Mew. She slowly grabs Mew under Jessie's arm, making sure not to wake her up. "Okay, I got Mew. One of you does the switch now."

Butch grabs the Ditto-transformed Mew and slowly places the Pokémon under Jessie's arm, where Mew's position was normally. "Okay, bingo. Now let's get out of here!"

The disguised Team Rocket was about to make a run for it until they heard a scream that startled them.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU THREE ARE DOING?!" Domino yelled out from sprinting into the living room from the lab to confront the three 'researchers' as Professor Oak was behind her.

Domino's yell causes everyone else in the living room to immediately wake up from sleeping.

"Huh?! What's going on?!" James said, looking around.

"SHIT!" Butch yelled out with a curse. "Come on, let's get out of here!"

Disguised Team Rocket immediately sprints out of the building with Mew, now awake, in their grasp.

"Mew!" The Pokémon cries out from being afraid before the trio shuts the door behind them from trying to escape.

"Come on guys, we have to go after them, they got Mew!" Domino pointed out.

"What do you mean? Mew's right here." Jessie said, holding up the Ditto-transformed Mew.

Domino facepalms. "That's not Mew Jessie, that's a Ditto!"

"Huh?! A Ditto?!" Jessie looks at the Ditto-transformed Mew.

The Pokémon glows white and transforms back into its original form to Jessie's shock. "Ditto!"

"WHAT?!" Jessie screamed out in disbelief.

It cuts to the Team Rocket trio, still in disguise, running away outside, away from Professor Oak's place with Mew now in their possession.

"You know where you parked the hot air balloon, Cassidy?" Butch asked.

Cassidy nods with a grin. "Yep! And I remembered this time!"

As Team Rocket in disguise was running towards their hot-air balloon, Mondo looked back with a regretful look on his face from leaving Ditto behind.

"Ditto…" Mondo says quietly so that his partners-in-crime won't hear him.

It cuts to the gang with Leaf and Professor Oak now outside as well, running with top-notch speed from trying to find the three crooks.

"They couldn't have gone far yet! We have to find them!" Jessie says.

Leaf noticed the hot air balloon in the sky and was the first person to point it out. "Maybe the thieves are in that hot air balloon in the sky?"

Meowth groans in annoyance. "Oh no, don't tell me what I think it is!"

It cuts to disguise Team Rocket in their hot air balloon with Mew still in their possession as Cassidy and Butch are laughing a long and singing. "We're gonna steal Mew! We're gonna steal Mew! We're gonna steal Mew!"

A loud yell from Jessie that Team Rocket heard immediately got their attention. "STOP, THIEVES!"

Cassidy growls in frustration seeing the gang approaching them. "Great it's the annoying twerps!" She turns to Butch. "Turn on the juice, Butch!"

"On it!" Butch goes over to the handle to turn on the flames of the burner, but Mondo stops him.

"No, we're not! We're gonna get my Ditto back first!" Mondo says, frustrated.

"Mondo what are you doing?! Get out of the way!" Butch tries to get to the handle once more, but Mondo keeps stopping him, then Cassidy gets involved and Team Rocket gets into one fight.

Jessie quickly pulls out a Safari Ball. "Scizor, pop that balloon!" She sends out Scizor.

Scizor materializes. "Scizor!" The Pokémon flies up and then through Team Rocket's hot air balloon, creating two holes, and popping it.

Disguise Team Rocket starts screaming as their hot air balloon starts spiraling out of control from being popped.

"I guess we have no other choice!" Cassidy quickly grabs the parachute they had in the basket and jumps off.

Butch and Mondo also immediately jump off as Butch grabs Cassidy's leg and Mondo grabs Butch's. While falling, Cassidy pulls the string to trigger the parachute as disguised Team Rocket reaches the ground with Mew still in their possession. The gang with Leaf and Professor Oak immediately confronts the trio once they reach the ground.

"We got you losers now! You might as well give up!" James says with an aggressive tone.

Cassidy scoffs. "And all of you might as well prepare for trouble!"

Butch follows up. "And there are two Pokémon that can transform which makes it a double!"

"To infect the world with devastation!"

"To blight all people within every nation!"

"To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"

"To extend our wrath to the stars above!"

Cassidy rips off her researcher disguise. "Cassidy!"

Butch also follows up by ripping off his researcher disguise too. "And Butch of course!"

"We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!"

"Surrender to us now you will surely lose the fight!"

Mondo rolls his eyes in annoyance as he also removes his researcher disguise. "I'm Mondo, alright…"

Leaf immediately recognizes the trio. "Wait a minute, you're the three same losers you tried to steal my Eevee and run that lame fake Gym too!"

Domino growls in anger. "I should've known! You three were suspicious from the very start!"

"Why can't you three just leave us alone?!" Jessie says in a frustrated tone.

Cassidy laughs. "Because one day we're going to steal your talking Meowth, but today, we're taking this Mew under your noses whether you like it or not!"

"You idiots are never going to steal me!" Meowth shouted.

Jessie grits her teeth until she looks down at the Ditto she's holding, knowing it belongs to Team Rocket. "Give us Mew back and I'll give you your Ditto back!"

"Ditto!" Ditto cries out to Mondo.

"Ditto, don't worry, I'll save you!" Mondo tries to rush towards Jessie for his Ditto, but Butch grabs his uniform before he can.

Butch pulls out a Poké Ball, signaling that he wants to battle. "Come on, let's deal with these annoying twerps!"

Cassidy also pulls out a Poké Ball as well. "Gladly!"

Mondo sighs and also pulls out a Poké Ball as well. "Only for Ditto!"

Team Rocket sends out their Pokémon to battle against the gang. "Raticate, go!" "Primeape, take care of them!" "Marowak, help me deal with these twerps!"

Raticate, Primeape, and Marowak all materialize into battle. "Raticate!" "Primeape!" "Marowak!"

As Jessie's Scizor stood in front of her, ready to fight, Jessie turned to her friends. "Alright guys, I need your help!"

All of Jessie's friends, including Leaf, nod in agreement as all of them pull out a Poké Ball as well. "Clefable, I choose you!" "Charizard, let's go!" "Lapras, go!"

Clefable, Charizard, and Lapras all materialize as all Pokémon cry out into battle.

Cassidy growls. "Just great, it's three verses four!"

Mondo realizes an idea and gasps in delight. "Not anymore! Ditto, transform into a Dragonite!"

"Ditto!" While in Jessie's grasp, Ditto begins glowing white and starts transforming into a Dragonite.

"AH!" Jessie quickly threw Mondo's Ditto in the air, knowing it was about to transform into a Pokémon that would crush her arms to death if she continued holding Ditto.

While in the air, Ditto successfully transforms into Dragonite. "Dragonite!" Then it successfully flies in front of Team Rocket with Raticate, Primeape, and Marowak, ready to battle.

Butch laughs and then has a satisfied look on his face. "Good thinking, Mondo!"

Professor Oak, watching this, turns to the gang and Leaf. "Be careful you four, even though it's not a real Dragonite, it can still act like the real thing."

"Don't worry, Professor. We dealt and handled these three many times and we're going to do it again!" Jessie responded with a confident look on her face.

Team Rocket and their Pokémon have a quick stare-down with Jessie and their Pokémon for a few seconds before the Team Rocket trio calls the first moves of the battle.

"Raticate, Hyper Fang on that Clefable!" "Primeape, Low Kick on that Lapras!" "Marowak hit that Scizor with a Fire Blast and Ditto, Hyper Beam that Charizard to bits!"

"EVERYONE, DODGE IT!" The gang and Leaf all shouted.

Raticate was about to bite Clefable hard, but Clefable quickly minimized it to avoid the move. Lapras quickly hides under its shell as Primeape ends up kicking the shell, crying in pain. Marowak uses its bone to create flames shaped like a kanji to send to Scizor and Dragonite opens its mouth to send out an orange beam of energy at Charizard, however, both Scizor and Charizard each move by flying out in the way in the sky.

"Are you kidding me right now?!" Butch says in disbelief.

"This can't be good…" Mondo added, also in disbelief as well.

Cassidy stomps her foot in anger. "Just our luck!"

The gang and Leaf all now command their moves against Team Rocket's Pokémon. "Clefable, use Metronome!" "Scizor hit them with a Metal Claw!" "Charizard, Seismic Toss!" "Lapras, you use your Surf!"

The gang and Leaf's Pokémon began to go to work to deal with Team Rocket's Pokémon. Clefable waves its index fingers back and forth before jumping high and kicking Raticate right in the face. Scizor's claws begin being surrounded by a silver aura before dashing towards Marowak and striking the Pokémon with it. Charizard picks up transformed-Ditto Dragonite and begins flying in the sky around in circles before tossing the dragon Pokémon back to Team Rocket. Lapras creates a huge wave and it not only crashes down to Marowak but the rest of Team Rocket's Pokémon as well.

Once the transformed-Ditto Dragonite was flung back to Team Rocket with the Seismic Toss, it hits Butch, transforming back to its original form and it causes him to let go of Mew, as the new species Pokémon was in the air and now falling to the ground. "Mew!" It cries out in fear.

"Don't worry, Mew!" Jessie quickly sprints to where was going to land and successfully dives to save the new species Pokémon from hitting the ground. "Got you!"

Mew looks at Jessie and cries in delight. "Mew!"

Jessie quickly turns her attention to Team Rocket with a glare. "Meowth, Thunderbolt them!"

"You got it, boss!" Meowth begins flowing electricity in its fur before sending out bolts of electricity right at Team Rocket.

The Team Rocket trio begins hugging each other in fear before they and their Pokémon get electrocuted, screaming in pain and blasting them off from an explosion occurring.

"LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Ding!

"We did it!" Leaf cheered in happiness.

Jessie, Domino, James, and Leaf all began high-fiving each other to celebrate saving Mew and dealing with Team Rocket as well. Professor Oak was clapping for them with an approving nod.

Jessie looks down in her hands at Mew. "Are you okay, Mew?"

Mew looks back at its trainer and nods. "Mew!"

"I have to say, you four, the way you dealt with Team Rocket with your Pokémon shows how much you completely bonded with them throughout your journeys!" Professor Oak says to them with a smile.

"Come on, we need to get some sleep before heading to South America. Let's go back to the lab to rest." Domino suggested.

The gang, with Leaf and Professor Oak, all began heading back to Professor Oak's lab to rest for the entire night. It cuts to the sun rising as everyone is now outside of the lab. James has a Poké Ball in his hands.

"Charizard, we need you!" James sends out Charizard as it roars after materializing.

"I believe this map of South America will help you all." Professor Oak hands Jessie a map of South America after printing it last night.

Jessie happily accepts the map. "Thanks, professor!"

"Mew!" Mew cries in joy.

Domino walks up to Professor Oak and hands him her blue Pokémon Egg. "Professor, can you take care of my baby Pokémon for me? I believe that this trip might be too dangerous for the little fella and the egg could break."

Professor Oak smiles as he nods in agreement and accepts Domino's Pokémon Egg. "Don't worry Domino, I'll take care of them while you're away."

Domino smiles back cheerfully. "Thank you so much, Professor!"

"Alright everyone, let's head to South America!" James hops onto Charizard's back and his friends, including Leaf, also hop on with him. "Charizard, take us to South America!"

Charizard roars as it spreads its wings, it starts running first to build momentum as the flame Pokémon jumps and starts flying in the air. Professor Oak waves goodbye to them as the gang and Leaf wave goodbye at him as Charizard takes off in the air.

It cuts to the Team Rocket trio in an airport, snoring and sleeping while on some chairs. As the announcements came on through the speakers.

"The flight to South America will be departing right now!"

Cassidy slowly opens its eyes. "South America flight departing right now? That's nice." She then slowly closes her eyes to go back to sleep, until realizing and shooting her eyes back open. "SOUTH AMERICA?!" Cassidy starts shaking her partners-in-crime to wake up. "WAKE UP! OUR FLIGHT IS LEAVING RIGHT NOW!"

Butch and Mondo immediately sprung up from slumber. "WHAT?!" They both yelled out in disbelief.

The trio quickly started rushing to the runway. They spot a plane moving and about to take off.

Cassidy immediately assumes that the plane is taking off to South America. "Quick, grab the landing gear!"

Team Rocket sprinted so fast to catch up to the landing gear as they grabbed it and climbed up inside it. Then the plane takes off and the trio is sitting on the landing gear, taking deep breaths.

"That was a close one…" Cassidy says.

"Alright, who the hell didn't set our alarms when we told them to do so?!" Butch says with a frustrated tone.

"Umm… that would be you, Butch," Mondo responds, rubbing the back of his head.

Cassidy starts scolding Butch. "Way to go, Butch! Instead of sitting on a chair inside an aircraft cabin, we're sitting inside the landing gears of the plane!"

Butch responds by just crossing his arms and looking away. "Whatever. Just call the boss about that Mew Pokémon the twerp has!"

Cassidy rolls her eyes and proceeds to dial Giovanni to tell him about Mew and everything they experienced last night. Meanwhile, in the air, it cuts to The Iron-Masked Marauder flying through the air with his jetpack, still on the search for Mew.

"Searched for hours, yet I still haven't come across Mew." Vicious gets a call from Giovanni and immediately answers it. "Yes, boss?"

Giovanni starts informing him about Cassidy's call. "Vicious, I just received information from three of my agents about Mew's whereabouts."

Vicious immediately stops flying forward to hear Giovanni more clearly. "Tell me!"

Giovanni continues. "Mew is currently in the possession of a trainer with blonde hair, a pink hat, a gray shirt, and a red skirt. They're currently heading to South America where the Andres Mountains are."

"The Andres Mountains?" Vicious questions. "Wait, isn't it rumored to be a mysterious lake inside the mountains that can cure Mew and restore their powers?"

"You know what to do. Stop them immediately if the mysterious lake is true and bring me Mew!" Giovanni ends the call.

Vicious begins thinking. "How did Giovanni describe them again? Blonde hair…" A picture of Jessie zooming into her blonde hair pops up in Vicious' mind. "A pink hat…" then the picture zooms into Jessie's pink hat. "A gray shirt…" then the picture zooms into Jessie's gray shirt. "And finally a red skirt." The picture of Jessie in Vicious' mind zooms into Jessie's red skirt. After Vicious realizes it's Jessie Giovanni was describing, he grits his teeth from being frustrated. "Of all the trainers in the world that could find Mew, it had to be her! Well this time, I will destroy and kill her. Watch out kid, because this time you're not being lucky!" The Iron-Masked Marauder flies off to search for Jessie and her friends.

It cuts to where Jessie and her friends, with Leaf, are in the air on Charizard as the group is now above the ocean and getting closer to South America.

"How close are we to South America?" Jessie asked James.

"Oh, we should be coming close to it!" James answered. "Right, Charizard?"

Charizard roars and gives its trainer a thumbs up to respond to James' question.

Domino is holding onto her blue Pokémon Egg tightly, she is seen to be a little scared. "M-maybe we should've taken a plane to South America? I-I don't know if this is safe for my baby." She hugs her blue Pokémon Egg more tightly.

"Are you serious?" Leaf responded, rhetorically. "That's so lame compared to riding on an orange fire dragon!"

Meowth laughs. "I extremely agree with her on that!"

A cannon blast was heard from the distance, the gang and Leaf all looked around in confusion, trying to find where that noise came from. Charizard sensed something was coming behind it and immediately dodged the cannon fire by flying out of the way.

"What was that?!" Domino immediately questioned.

Charizard roars as the gang looks behind the Pokémon and they see an iron-masked person jetpacking towards them.

"Who's that?!" Leaf asked.

"He looks… familiar." Jessie squints her eyes to get a better look and immediately recognizes who it is. Jessie immediately gasped in shock. "NO WAY!" She yelled out.

Domino, James, and Meowth also recognized the person as well which caused them to gasp as well. "IT'S THAT IRON-MASKED VILLAIN!" The three all yelled out together.

Leaf's eyes widened from hearing the term 'villain'."WHAT VILLAIN?!"

"Hand me Mew right here, right now, and I might let you all live!" The Iron-Masked Marauder blasts his hand cannon once more at Charizard.

"Charizard quick, dodge it again!" James quickly ordered with a worried tone.

Charizard quickly manages to dodge the cannon fire once more by flying out of the way again while the gang holds on.

Jessie immediately turns to Mew. "Mew, was he the one trying to steal you before and sucked your powers away?"

Mew nods very fast in response. "Mew! Mew!"

Jessie glares at the Iron-Masked Marauder as she pulls out a Safari Ball. "Well, he's going to do it while I'm here. "Scizor, take care of that jerk with a Metal Claw!" She sends out her Scizor.

Scizor materializes while in the air. "Scizor!" Scizor's claw glows white and then starts showing a silver metal appearance before the Pokémon flies at the Iron-Masked Marauder, trying to strike him down.

The Iron-Masked Marauder quickly dashes to the right to dodge the Metal Claw. He starts chuckling before pulling out two

purple Poké Balls with black lines over it.

Leaf immediately sees the strange Poké Ball in the Iron-Masked Marauder's hands. "Whoa, guys check that Poké Ball out!" She points it out as the gang also looks at it with confused looks on their faces.

"Feast your eyes on my newest creation, the Dark Ball! It can capture any Pokémon, obey my commands, and their power will increase to its highest level!" The Iron-Masked Marauder expresses an evil grin. "If it's an air Pokémon battle you want, it's an air Pokémon you will get! Dragonite and Skarmory, take care of these annoying brats' Pokémon!" He throws the two Dark Balls in the air.

The Dark Balls open and two Pokémon materialize in a dark glow with a purple outline instead of a regular white glow. Dragonite and Skarmory both roar and look evil as well.

"Looks like we got to take down this iron-masked guy again, Jess," James says to Jessie.

Jessie nods in response. "We can't let them have Mew!"

"Charizard, stop!" James ordered.

Charizard stops flying and turns around to face Dragonite and Skarmory. Scizor flies up next to Charizard. Scizor and Charizard both have a stare-down with Dragonite and Skarmory as a battle is about to happen with these four Pokémon.

The Iron-Masked Marauder commands both of his Pokémon. "Dragonite, use Hyper Beam! And Skarmory, you use Steel Wing!"

Dragonite roars as an orange ball of energy forms in front of Dragonite's mouth and then fires a beam of energy from the ball at Charizard. One of Skarmory's wings glows white, and it starts flying towards Scizor.

"Charizard, dodge that Hyper Beam and use Dragon Rage right at Dragonite!" James commanded.

"And Scizor, counter Skarmory's Steel Wing with your Metal Claw!" Jessie also commanded as well.

Charizard flies out of the way to dodge Dragonite's Hyper Beam while the gang and Leaf are hanging on for dear life while Charizard dodges. One of Scizor's claws glows a metal texture as it dashes towards Skarmory and both of their moves collide. Meanwhile, The flame on Charizard's tail grows to a huge size. It then forms a ball of fire in its mouth and releases a fiery inferno right at and hitting Dragonite. The dragon Pokémon roars from getting hit by the Dragon Rage.

The Iron-Masked Marauder growls. "Dragonite, get your head in the game and use Thunder Wave on Charizard!"

"Wait, doesn't Dragonite have to recharge after using Hyper Beam?!" James asked in disbelief.

The Iron-Masked Marauder has an evil grin on his face. "These Dark Balls make the Pokémon so powerful that Dragonite doesn't need to recharge!"

Electricity comes out of the antennae from the top of Dragonite's head and hits Charizard. The orange fire dragon roars in pain before being officially paralyzed. Charizard starts descending to the ocean below after being paralyzed by the gang and Leaf screaming.

"Scizor?" Scizor gets distracted from hearing its trainer screaming as it looks where it's coming from.

Skarmory uses the distraction as an advantage as it strikes Scizor with its metallic wing right at the pincer Pokémon, crying out in pain, now also starting descending to the ocean.

Jessie realizes that the Charizard is heading straight down to the water ocean. "James, you got to recall Charizard, quick!"

"Charizard, return!" James immediately recalls Charizard back in its Poké Ball.

"Scizor, you return too!" Jessie also recalls Scizor as well.

Meowth starts getting scared at the ocean water that they're descending to. "I HATE WATER!"

"You're telling me! I hate getting my hair wet!" Leaf added.

"Brace for impact!" Domino warned.

The gang and Leaf splash down to the ocean with the Iron-Masked looking down.

"I can't risk having my technology getting wet. They're most likely going to drown. I'll have Giovanni look for Mew's dead body by sending a search team. "Dragonite, Skarmory, return!" Vicious recalls both Dragonite and Skarmory back in their Dark Balls and then jetpacks off.

Meanwhile, under the ocean, we see Jessie still holding onto Mew and also holding their breath as well. She quickly pulls out a Poké Ball and sends out Blastoise, which materializes while Jessie grabs onto the back of its shell and Blastoise swims up to the surface.

Jessie takes a huge deep breath after holding it from being underwater. "Oh crap, where are the others?!"

Mew, still on Jessie's shoulder, starts getting scared as well. "Mew!"

Jessie turns to Mew. "It's okay Mew, it's okay."

Soon, Leaf's Lapras arrives next to Blastoise on the shore with Leaf on the back of Lapras' shell and takes a deep breath as well after holding it underwater.

"Jessie, thank god you also had the same idea as me!" Leaf sighs in relief.

"But where are Domino, James, and Meowth?!" Jessie immediately questioned, expressing worriedness.

"They might still be under the ocean! We have to help them fast!" Leaf turns to her Lapras. "Lapras, go find Jessie's friends and fast!"

"You too Blastoise! Find Meowth, Domino, and James quickly.

Lapras and Blastoise both nod. "La!" "Blastoise!" Both water Pokémon dive back down under the ocean water to search for Jessie's friends

Meanwhile, underwater, both Lapras and Blastoise are looking around, trying to find the rest of the gang, they swim deeper, but still nothing. Lapras tells Blastoise to split up, which they do. Where Lapras is, after a minute of searching, the Pokémon finally finds Domino's unconscious body still descending closer to the very bottom of the ocean. Lapras swims a little below so that the unconscious Domino can land on their shell and then it immediately starts swimming up to the surface. On Blastoise's side, the shellfish Pokémon stumbles upon Meowth and James, both unconscious as well. Blastoise swims below so that both of their unconscious bodies will land on their shell then the Pokémon starts swimming up to the surface. Soon, both Pokémon were able to reach the surface with Jessie's friends on their shells

Jessie and Leaf start swimming to their Pokémon, seeing that Domino, Meowth, and James are all unconscious. Jessie turns to Leaf. "We have to find land, fast!"

"Mew!" Mew cries out from being worried.

Leaf nods in agreement. "Right!" Come on Lapras, let's go!"

"Blastoise, find land quickly!" Jessie also ordered.

"La!" "Blastoise!" Both Lapras and Blastoise start swimming through the ocean to try to find land with Leaf and unconscious Domino on Lapras' shell and Jessie, both unconscious Meowth, and James on Blastoise's shell.

After a few minutes have passed, Lapras and Blastoise both spot a beach from a distance and they both cry out to get their trainers' attention. "La!" "Blastoise!"

Jessie looks to where her Blastoise is looking and smiles in delight at seeing land. "Yes, thank goodness land was near! Let's go, Blastoise!"

"You too, Lapras, head to land!" Leaf says to her Pokémon as well.

Blastoise and Lapras both swim to the beach as fast as they can and they soon reach the shore of the beach. When they arrive on land, Leaf carries an unconscious Domino and Jessie carries an unconscious Meowth and James to the sand of the beach and they lay them down on said sand.

Jessie feels Domino, Meowth, and James' pulse and then takes the biggest sigh of relief. "Okay, they all have pulses! I hope you know CPR because we have to do it quickly!" Jessie starts doing CPR on Meowth and James at the same time.

"Wow, it seems like taking a health class would come in handy in the future." Leaf starts doing CPR on Domino.

After a few seconds of Jessie doing CPR on Meowth and James, and Leaf doing CPR on Domino, all three start coughing up salt water from the ocean and all three of them gain back consciousness after coughing up the water from almost drowning.

"Ugh… where am I? Is this the afterlife?" James says after slowly gaining consciousness.

Jessie chuckles and shakes her head. "Nope! You're on the beach, laying on the sand!"

Meowth groans. "So that's why my fur is still wet."

"So we're not dead?" Domino weakly says.

Leaf shakes her head. "Nope! Lapras over here saved you from drowning and brought you all to this beach. I also saved your life by doing CPR on ya!"

"And Blastoise saved both of your lives from drowning while I did CPR on you two!" Jessie added.

Mew cheerfully cries out. "Mew!"

Domino immediately gets up and sprints towards Lapras, in the shallow water, with hearts in her eyes. "I love Lapras even more now!" She starts hugging Lapras.

Lapras doesn't mind, it actually smiles and cries happily. "La!"

James looks at Blastoise and gives him a thumbs up. "Thank you so much for saving my life, Blastoise. I owe you a big time!"

Meowth also gives Blastoise a thumbs up as well. "Yeah! Thanks for saving this cat!"

"Blastoise!" Blastoise happily cries out as well.

A few minutes passed after everyone took a little break from almost dying in the ocean. Jessie recalled Blastoise and Leaf recalled Lapras back in their Poké Balls.

"Okay, so where the hell are we?!" Meowth asked.

Mew starts talking to Meowth. "Mew! Mew! Mew!"

"What's Mew saying, Meowth?" Jessie asked.

Meowth translates what Mew is saying. "Mew is saying that we are in Guyana, South America. Mew can recognize the patterns of the beach and everything!"

"Really?! Wow, what luck for us!" Leaf then spots some mountains in the distance. "Wait… so that means that those must be the Andes Mountains in the distance, right?!"

Mew happily nods in response, confirming Leaf's statement. "Mew!"

"We're almost there, guys! Wait… isn't the Andes Mountains a cold place?" Domino asked.

"Right, but thankfully my mom packed my winter clothes-" Jessie realizes that she doesn't have any winter clothes from losing them in the ocean. "That is gone now thanks to the ocean." She groans.

"And I don't think Charizard is flying us there anytime soon from being paralyzed from taking that Thunder Wave by that iron guy's Dragonite," James added.

"I guess we have to walk through that jungle then," Domino stated.

Jessie raises her fist in the air. "It doesn't matter if we have to walk. I want to find that hidden lake and store Mew's powers!"

Mew nuzzles Jessie's cheek from happiness. "Mew!"

Jessie chuckles and pets Mew. "Aww, you're so adorable, aren't you, Mew?"

Meowth looks at his trainer petting Mew and Mew nuzzles her cheek and looks annoyed from being jealous. "Can we just go already?! We don't have all day until that iron-masked guy finds out that we're alive again!"

James nods. "Yeah, we have to find that hidden mysterious lake soon."

"But it's so cold, are we expected to climb those mountains with no winter clothes?" Leaf asked, concerned.

"Yes! I don't want Team Rocket to have Mew at all! They're planning something and I'm going to prevent their plans from succeeding even if I have to suffer through the cold. Now let's go!"

As the gang and Leaf start heading towards the jungle, it cuts to the Iron-Masked Marauder jetpacking over the ocean and calling Giovanni, who the boss soon picks up.

"Ah yes, Vicious. Please tell me how are the plans with Mew coming along?" Giovanni asked.

Vicious answers. "Unfortunately I have some news that Mew is dead with the annoying brats as well at the bottom of the ocean."

Giovanni growls. "Vicious, I told you that I need you to bring Mew to me, ALIVE!"

Vicious tries to reason with Giovanni. "Listen, sir, I'm sure you can still clone Mew even if it's dead. Unfortunately, Mew was with the twerps over the ocean and I can't get my technology wet. So just send a Team Rocket search team to find Mew's corpse in the ocean and you can continue your plans from there! Besides, I still have the Master Ball and you will have it back without being used."

The scene shows where Giovanni is during the call. "Hmm… I'm supposed you're right, fine, I will-"

Mewtwo behind Giovanni, interrupts him, telepathically. "I'm afraid that Mew is still alive."

Giovanni turns around to face Mewtwo with a confused look. "What do you mean?"

Mewtwo continues explaining. "I was made by Mew's DNA, I am a clone of Mew and I can detect if Mew is still alive or not and their location. Mew is still alive and right now, Mew is in Guyana, South America. They're currently in the jungle where I was created and they're heading towards the Andes Mountains. I can tell."

"Thank you for telling me, Mewtwo." Giovanni turns back to Vicious to deliver the bad news. "I got some bad news for you Vicious that just came up."

It cuts back to where Vicious is over the ocean with the call. "What?!"

Giovanni explains. "Mewtwo told me that they can detect Mew is either alive or dead. Mewtwo said that Mew is alive and heading to the Andes Mountains in Guyana, South America!"

"I see… don't worry Giovanni, sir. I'm heading to Guyana right away!" Vicious says.

Giovanni nods. "Good, I want you to report back to me when Mew is in your possession! Goodbye." The boss of Team Rocket ends the call.

As soon as Giovanni disconnects the call, Vicious goes into a rage. "THOSE BRATS DIDN'T DROWN?! HOW ARE THEY STILL ALIVE?!" Vicious takes deep breaths to calm down. "I guess I'm going to have to kill them and take Mew myself!" The Iron Masked Marauder turns around and starts jetpacking to Guyana.

The scene cuts to the Team Rocket trio sleeping landing gear of the plane they have been flying, but the landing gear slowly opens and sooner or later, the plane lands at a landing area.

Cassidy slowly opens her eyes and yawns, but then she notices the plane has landed from looking at the ground. "Guys, we landed! Wake up!"

Butch and Mondo both wake up as well, smiling at the sight of the ground from the landing gear.

"I can't believe we made it to Guyana, South America! We're one step closer to stealing that Mew from the twerp for the boss!" Butch says.

"Let's hope we can find those twerps somewhere here! Now let's hop out of this landing gear!" Mondo ordered.

The Team Rocket trio hops out of the landing gear of the plane, landing on the concrete ground of the landing area. A police guard immediately notices the trio and confronts them with three Growlithe, growling at the trio.

The Team Rocket trio starts hugging each other in fear as Cassidy, Butch, and Mondo start finishing each other's sentences. "I think-" "We've been-" "Spotted!"

The police guard commands the Growlithe to stop Team Rocket, which they do so. Team Rocket immediately starts running away as the three Growlithe start chasing the trio.

"Run! Run for your life!" Cassidy shouted.

"Don't let those Growlithe catch you!" Butch added.

"What if I just wanted to enjoy a vacation in Guyana?!" Mondo also added.

"LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" The trio said while running off into the distance.

It cuts to a jungle area of Guyana where the gang and Leaf are currently walking in.

Meowth starts getting tired of walking after a while. "I'm so tired of walking!" He turns his attention to his trainer. "Jessie, can I hop onto your shoulder?"

"Sorry Meowth but Mew is already occupied on my shoulder." Jessie chuckles by looking at Mew.

Mew happily cries out. "Mew!

"What about your other shoulder then?" Meowth questioned.

Jessie shakes her head no. "I need my other shoulder to look back just in case there's danger behind us."

Meowth's jealousy of Mew starts more strong as he glares at Mew without the Pokémon noticing. "Dumb pink Pokémon." He says quietly.

Domino leans into Meowth to whisper to him. "Hey, you can hop on my shoulder, Meowth." She gives the talking Pokémon a thumbs up.

Meowth smiles and gladly hops onto Domino's shoulder to take a break from walking. "Thank you so much!"

After a few seconds of walking in the jungle, the gang and Leaf soon stumble upon the same research lab that Mewtwo was born in, however, nature takes over it after it explodes as there are plants and grass everywhere around the research lab.

"What is this place?" Domino questioned.

"It looks like a research lab, but it's been destroyed," James answered.

"Wow, who would want to destroy a research lab?" Leaf also questioned as well.

"Maybe we can find anything useful here?" Jessie suggested.

The gang and Leaf all walk around the destroyed research lab, trying to find anything useful. Domino stumbles glass on the floor and then looks at the broken large tube.

Domino's eyes widened and looked impressed. "Whoa, it looks like something broke out of here?"

At James' side, he sees that large tables were destroyed with an interested look on his face. "Whatever happened here, do you think some Pokémon caused this?"

"What Pokémon would do such damage to this building?" Leaf questioned James' logic. "It must've been a pretty strong Pokémon if that's the case."

Jessie looks down at the floor, now sprouted with grass all over. She notices something and squints her eyes. It was a note that was placed on the ground by someone. "Guys, check this out!"

Jessie's friends and her rival all gather around here and they notice the note. "Is that a note?" Meowth questioned.

"It must've been." Jessie picks up the note and begins reading it. "'I thought I would never experience this day in my life, but I stumbled upon the famous Mewtwo lab where it was just a silly theory that Mewtwo was created by cloning Mew in a lab, then the powerful Pokémon destroyed it and killed everyone in the lab, but it turns out the rumors are true. I hope I can find my way back to civilization and tell everyone about this. If I don't make it back, to whoever has also discovered this and you make it back, please tell everyone about this and make it worldwide.'" Jessie looked at the bottom to see where wrote this note, but there was no name. "No name on the note."

"Wait, there's another Mew Pokémon?!" Meowth quietly grumbles to himself. "Just great!"

Jessie turns to Mew. "Mew, is that true? Did people clone you?"

Mew cries out a little sad as it nods. "Mew…"

"That's awful! Why would anyone want to clone you?!" Domino questions, a little frustrated.

"To create the strongest Pokémon in the entire world I bet, so that they could use that Pokémon for possibly evil purposes." James assumed with a mad expression.

"But who would want to do that?" Leaf questioned.

It cuts to Giovanni's secret base inside the Viridian Gym. He is on his laptop as Mewtwo begins talking to him through telekinesis.

"I can't take this anymore!" Mewtwo says. "Mew is at the research lab where I was created, I have to find Mew myself!" The powerful Pokémon was about to take flight to leave until wires came out of nowhere and held Mewtwo down before they could take flight. "What's this?!"

Giovanni slowly turns around to face Mewtwo. "And where do you think you're going?"

"I told you, I'm going out to find Mew myself! If your hunter guy is taking this long, being terrible at his job, then I'll do it!" Mewtwo answered with a frustrated tone. "Now let these wires let go of me!" Mewtwo tries getting out of the wires, but no good.

"We simply can't have you outside, Mewtwo. You're supposed to stay here and serve me. Besides, if people see some mysterious Pokémon that just came out from this Gym, the police would suspect me, wouldn't they?"

"What do you mean to serve you?! We're supposed to be a team here!" Mewtwo yelled at Giovanni.

"For a strong and psychic Pokémon, you sure are not that smart are you? I guess you're all brawn and have no brain." Giovanni grins. "Did you think that I'll help you? I just wanted to persuade you into working for me so you can help and serve me when I take over the world with so many Mewtwo in the palm of my hands like you!"

"I'm not going to serve the likes of you! You're just like every single other human! You only care about money and power! Now let me out of here!" Mewtwo starts using all of its power to break out the wires that are holding them and starts to do so as the wires start slowly breaking

"Oh no you don't!" Giovanni quickly straps Mewtwo with an electrical collar around its neck as the glowing light in front of the color turns red.

After the color turns red, Mewtwo stops trying to escape and just stands there, not talking at all. The wires slowly retreated and Mewtwo didn't try to escape at all as if that collar was controlling them.

Giovanni laughs. "You're mine Mewtwo! This collar will keep you listening to me and prevent any rebellious feelings inside of you. You're gonna continue to keep serving me when you help me take over the world!"

Mewtwo starts talking inside their thoughts. "I can't control myself to get out of here! This collar is preventing me from doing so! Why did I fall into a human's trap? I'm supposed to be one of the most intelligent Pokémon out there!"

"Now I just have to wait for Vicious to successfully capture Mew in that Master Ball and as soon that happens, my plan to take over this world will start. You better make me proud, Vicious, you're my number one for a reason." Giovanni says.

It cuts to Vicious, also known as the Iron-Masked Marauder, arriving where Jessie, her friends, and her rival used to be on the shores of the beach. He notices the jungle and stops jetpacking to land on the sand.

"If those brats entered the jungle, I can't spot them up in the sky because of those trees. Looks like I'm walking." Vicious spots a lot of footprints in the sand left by the gang and Leaf, leading to where in the jungle as Vicious grins. "You better watch out, pink hat brat, I'm coming for you and Mew!" Vicious proceeds to walk into the jungle where the footprints lead.

It cuts back to the gang and Leaf, leaving the destroyed research lab and back walking into the jungle. They have been walking in the jungle for quite some time, then it starts getting cold all of a sudden.

Dominos starts shivering. "Is it just me or just cold now?"

"It's still summer, right? It wouldn't be this cold at all!" James starts shivering as well.

"Maybe we're getting close to the Andes Mountains? My gramps did say the mountains were so cold, right?" Leaf assumed.

"That must be it then!" Jessie looks at Mew. "Don't worry Mew, no matter what cold environment the mountains are, I'm going to get you to that lake to restore your powers!"

Mew nuzzles on Jessie's cheek with happiness all around. "Mew!"

Meowth looks at this and starts becoming more jealous of Mew. "I wish I could just claw that stupid pink Pokémon." He says to himself.

However, Meowth forgot he was on Domino's shoulder and she heard what Meowth said. "What was that, Meowth?"

Meowth immediately blushes in embarrassment and tries to deny it. "Y-you didn't hear anything! Now leave me alone!"

"Are you… jealous of Mew because Jessie has been giving them a lot more attention recently than you?" Domino assumed.

"Meowth never gets jealous at all!" Meowth says, mentioning himself in the third person. Meowth looks at Domino, who is raising an eyebrow with a suspicious expression. He sighs and looks down. "Okay, maybe I am a little jealous of Jessie's attention with Mew. Can you blame me? I'm supposed to be Jessie's number one favorite Pokémon, but here comes Mew grabbing all of her attention and ignoring me! It's unfair!"

"I… understand you, Meowth," Domino admits.

"You do?" Meowth questioned her.

Domino nods in response. "I know what jealousy feels like when you want attention. I wanted the Pokémon to recognize me as a strong water-type trainer so that I could become the Cerulean City Gym Leader, but Misty ruined that for me and got all of the attention from the Indigo League officials and promoted her to the official Gym Leader. So I understand why you would be jealous of attention, Meowth."

Meowth smiles at Domino and nuzzles her cheek. "Thank you, Domino, for understanding!"

Domino smiles back and pets the talking Pokémon with a chuckle. "No problem, Meowth."

Leaf sees Domino petting Meowth and Meowth nuzzling her as she whispers to her rival, Jessie. "Jessie, I think Domino and Meowth are getting a little close to each other. Are you going to do something about it?"

Jessie looks to see Domino and Meowth bonding as she just smiles. "What's there to do? It's just nice to see Meowth and Domino finally bonding and not fighting. Trust me, those two have been getting in fights a lot during my travels with them."

"Ahh, I see! Well good for them!" Leaf says with a smile.

A few seconds passed and soon the path of the trees started to get less and less. Jessie, her friends, and her rival exit the jungle and they see the Andes Mountains just in front of them. The gang and Leaf are amazed by seeing the mountain up so close and take a little time to observe them.

"Wow! Look how beautiful these mountains are!" Domino says with sparkles in her eyes from amazement.

"I have never seen mountains this close up before! I wish I could see more mountains up close now!" Jessie added with sparkles in her eyes as well.

"I mean, sure the mountains look beautiful, but they're not going to be that beautiful once we start climbing one of them to find this lake," James says.

"Wait, which mountain contains this secret lake anyway?" Leaf asked.

Jessie turns her attention to Mew. "Mew, do you know which mountain contains the secret lake?"

"Mew!" Mew cheerfully cries out.

"Mew says that the biggest mountain contains the lake." Meowth translated.

"Alright, the biggest mountain looks like the middle one, so I think that should be it," Domino says.

"Before we go up there, do we have any food and water and does anyone know how to build an igloo if we have to?" Leaf asked.

James raises his hand. "I brought some food and water!"

Then Domino raises her hand to after. "And I know how to build a wonderful igloo to keep us warm just in case of a winter storm!"

Jessie takes a big sigh. "Alright guys, we all know how dangerous these mountains can be. As we heard, many deaths happened while explorers and researchers tried to explore these dangerous mountains. I want everyone to stay close to each other and try not to get separated from the group!"

"If one of us gets lost, it's pretty much game over for them. If we stay together and keep looking, we can find that secret lake to restore Mew's powers!" Domino added.

"What about that iron-masked guy?" Leaf questioned.

"Hopefully he thinks that we drowned when he struck us down when we were flying with Charizard," James answered.

"I hope so too, I do not want to run into him again, please!" Meowth stated.

Mew nods in agreement with Meowth's statement. "Mew!"

"Alright, everyone…" Jessie points at the middle mountain, the biggest and longest mountain out of all the mountains. "Let's do this!"

Jessie takes another big sigh once more, she pauses for a little before she starts walking towards the Andes Mountains with the gang and Leaf following her behind as they officially make it to the mountains and as they are a step closer to find the mysterious and secret lake to restore Mew's powers. It cuts to Team Rocket hiding behind a building, catching their breaths after escaping from a pack of Growlithe.

"I think we lost them…" Cassidy says, catching her breath.

Butch starts complaining. "I've only been here for a few minutes, I already hate this place, and I want to go home!"

"Quit your whining, Butch," Cassidy ordered. "We have to find the twerpette with Mew! They got to be somewhere around here."

"Like where? Are the twerps even in this city?" Mondo questioned.

"Well obviously! Cassidy explains. "Think about it, every single time, it doesn't matter what place we're in, we always wind up being the exact location with the twerps. So what makes it different here in the city?"

"That's so stupid, yet it's so true though!" Butch agreed.

"Maybe it's just one of those where we have no clue where the twerps are," Mondo stated, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.

"They have to be somewhere. We gotta steal that Mew for the boss!" Cassidy demanded.

"Just let me rest for a few minutes because I just won a gold medal for track by sprinting away from those Growlithe very fast!" Butch continues catching his breath as sits down on the ground.

"I agree with Butch first, walking is the last thing I want to talk about." Mondo does the same thing Butch and sits down on the ground.

Cassidy crosses her arms and rolls her eyes. "Fine then! A few minutes for a break!"

It now cuts to Team Rocket, after their break was done, in the streets of a city in Guyana, looking around for the gang.

"You see them, yet?" Cassidy asked.

Butch grits his teeth in frustration. "No, I haven't seen them since the last five minutes you asked that question again!"

"I don't want to hear you both arguing again, please!" Mondo begged.

"I don't get it, we always run into the twerps, purposely or not purposely !" Cassidy pouts.

"Maybe it's just one of those scenarios where we don't and we get lost in Guyana!" Butch stated, angrily.

"Cassidy, are we lost?!" Mondo asked, a little worried.

Cassidy immediately shakes her head. "Of course not! It's a big city, but the twerps have to be somewhere!"

"And I bet they're not here and we're just wasting our time, getting us more and more lost!" Butch fired back at her.

Cassidy frustratedly gets in Butch's face. "We are NOT lost!"

Butch responds by also getting in her face. "Yes, we ARE!"

Mondo takes a big sigh. "Here we go with them arguing again… Is there a way to break this up?" He begins thinking of an idea and gets one as he grins.

"Cassidy, it's about time I said this to you and you had this coming for a mile away!" Butch stares directly at Cassidy.

Cassidy crosses her arms and raises her eyebrow. "Oh yeah? What do you want to say to me, Butch?"

Butch starts being honest with Cassidy. "Your plans are the dumbest ever on the planet Earth! Probably even throughout the universe! You have no idea what you're doing, you should step down as the leader of this trio and let me lead it because your plans are so fucking dumb and you're dumb in general! If they weren't dumb, we would already have that twerpette's talking Meowth in our hands by now instead of wandering stupidly and being lost in Guyana, South America! I should've quit being in this trio when I had the chance!" Butch takes a deep breath after he yells out this next statement. "YOU! ARE! A! BAD! LEADER!"

The yell from Butch starts attracting a crowd of people as Mondo looks around and tries to warn his partners-in-crime. "Um guys, you both are making a scene…"

Cassidy ignores Mondo and stares down Butch and responds to what he just said. "I barely cry… I hate crying and what you just said Butch, I'm not going to cry, instead I'm going to give you a taste of your own medicine. I might be the leader of this trio, but we are a team! This means every single attempt we failed to capture the twerpette's talking Meowth, it's our fault as a team! Sure, we might point fingers at the start, but at the very end, we both conclude that it's my fault, your fault, and Mondo's fault because we are a team! Since you think I'm such a bad leader, can you do anything better at all? Your plan, Mondo's plan, will all end up failing anyway. No matter how hard we try, we fail, and because I'm the leader of this trio means I'm the scapegoat, right? Butch, I can think of many things that one of my plans would have succeeded if your dumbass didn't mess up! But YOU want to call me a dumbass? Is that the reason why Giovanni decided to pair you with me? Is it because we're dumb and dumber?"

Butch has so much anger with his expression and starts heavy breathing, slowly replying to Cassidy. "You know damn well the reason why Giovanni paired us up is because you wanted better teammates that can handle your bossy and terrible attitude! I AM NOT DUMB!"

Cassidy couldn't take it anymore as she let out a scream right at Butch. "YOU ARE A DUMBASS, BUTCH! YOU ARE THE DUMBEST PERSON EVER ON EARTH!"

Mondo's eyes widened after experiencing what he had just witnessed. "I-I was going to go through with my idea to break this argument up, but I never saw them fight like this."

The crowd around Team Rocket starts clapping. Butch doesn't respond to Cassidy, he simply just slowly turns around and begins walking away. He sheds a tear in his eyes as he just walks away.

Cassidy was gritting her teeth before she also turned around and walked away from the opposite direction where Butch was walking. Mondo looks at both Cassidy and Butch, he starts getting worried. "I-I got to fix this!" He sprints off towards Butch first.

It cuts to the side of the Andes Mountains, where Jessie is with her friends and rivals. Walking through the snowy snow, trying their best to ignore the insane amount of cold in their body.

"I-I'm freezing," Domino says as she pulls out and puts her jacket from her handbag.

Meowth gets under Domino's cap to warm himself.

"Thankfully I always wear my leather jacket with me, so I'm not that cold," James states.

Leaf also pulls out her coat from her handbag and puts it on. "Jessie, are you going to put your coat on? Anything?"

"I told you before Leaf, I lost my winter gear when we were under the ocean!" Jessie answered. "Looks like I didn't secure it enough like you guys did…"

"Maybe we should turn back, look for a town to buy you a coat, and then come back to these mountains?" Domino suggested.

Jessie shakes her head. "No! We can't turn back now, especially with that iron-masked guy possibly on us. I'll just be strong and deal with the extreme cold. I'm not giving up so I can find that lake for Mew!"

Mew cheers happily after what Jessie said. "Mew!"

"Besides, if I need to warm up" Jessie holds up a Poké Ball. "I got Rapidash with me to keep me warm. Let's keep walking." She puts Rapidash's Poké Ball back in her purse and continues walking through the mountain with her friends and rival, but they're giving Jessie a worried expression that she can't see them.

Time cuts to the gang and Domino walking deeper into the Andes Mountains, there is no turning back now. Even with their jackets and coats on, Domino, James, and Leaf were starting to get cold, shivering a lot. Meowth was relaxed and cozy under Domino's cap. Jessie was cold and shivering the most with no winter gear on, but she was still fighting it by continuing to walk.

"J-Jessie, we should r-rest for a little bit and b-build an igloo," Domino suggested.

Jessie slowly shakes her head no. "N-no, we have t-t-to keep going and find that lake!"

Mew was even starting to get concerned with Jessie from her determination to find this lake. "Mew?"

Leaf felt Jessie's arm from accidentally bumping into her a little and it was extremely cold. "Jessie, your arm is so cold! You're gonna get hypothermia out here if we continue walking through this mountain without stopping for a little bit for warmth!"

"Got to… find that… lake…" Jessie starts feeling a little dizzy from the cold as the blood inside her starts freezing from the cold.

"Jessie, are you alright?" James asked.

Mew tries to warn Jessie to stop and not continue walking. "Mew! Mew! Mew!"

Meowth peaks under Domino's cap to translate what Mew said to Jessie. "Jessie, Mew said to stop walking and rest or you could die from freezing!"

Jessie couldn't hear that well from the dizziness surrounding her, so she didn't listen. Jessie takes one step and then she completely becomes unconscious as she falls to the snowy ground of the mountain.

"JESSIE!" Everyone yelled out and immediately rushed towards her.

"Mew!" Mew cries out.

Leaf immediately grabs Mew "Come on, we gotta build that igloo, right now!" She ordered. "I'll keep Jessie warm!"

Domino nods. "On it! James, Meowth, help me build it!"

"Right!" Both James and Meowth agreed.

Domino, James, and Meowth all start building the igloo. Leaf now has Mew on her shoulder and is holding unconscious Jessie close to keep her warm and not freeze to death.

Mew is looking at Jessie with a sad and worried expression on its face. "Mew…"

Leaf looks at Mew. "Don't worry, Mew, Jessie is going to be okay, I promise."

As Domino, James, and Meowth continue building the igloo and Leaf keeping Mew safe and Jessie's arm, it cuts to the Iron-Masked Marauder arriving out of the jungle and seeing the mountains close to him.

"This is it, the Andes Mountains. This is where the annoying brats are at." Vicious activates his jetpack and starts flying in the air now. "Luckily I don't have to walk anymore. With my technology, finding those brats should be a piece of cake!" Vicious pulls out all of his Dark Balls and sends out all of his controlled Pokémon.

All of the Pokémon materialized which includes, Dragonite, Skarmory, Nidoking, Kingler, Rhydon, and Machamp.

Vicious begins to order his dark-controlled Pokémon. "I want all of you to help me search these mountains of very rare little pink Pokémon named Mew. Their current location is with a trainer with a pink hat. Stop them from finding the lake!"

All of his dark-controlled Pokémon nodded with a cry and roar. All six Pokémon started heading towards the Andes Mountains to help Vicious find Mew.

"You better keep running, pink hat brat, because that's gonna be your only option to get away from me!" Vicious evil laughs before jetpacking towards the Andes Mountains.

It cuts back to the Andes Mountains where the gang and Leaf are now inside their now-completed igloo, Jessie is still unconscious, and Rapidash is now out of its Poké Ball and heating unconscious Jessie.

Jessie slowly starts opening her eyes, coming back to being conscious. "Ugh… what happened?" She notices Rapidash warming her up. "Rapidash?"

Jessie's friends and her rival immediately noticed she was up. "JESSIE!"

"Mew!" Mew jumps from Leaf's shoulder to Jessie's shoulder and nuzzles her.

Jessie looks confused. "Yes, I am Jessie?"

James tells her what happened. "You don't remember but fell unconscious because of the extreme cold your body was experiencing."

Domino continues the explanation. "So me, Meowth, and James built this igloo that we're currently in to warm you up. Leaf kept you warm while we were building it."

Leaf gives her rival a thumbs up. "You owe me though." She then chuckles. "Just kidding."

"And how is Rapidash here? I don't remember sending them out." Jessie scratches her head.

Domino explains that too. "We grabbed their Poké Ball in your purse and sent Rapidash out to help you warm up."

"Well… thank you all, but now that I'm up, we should get back on walking this mountain!" Jessie gets up to walk out of the igloo, but her friends and rival completely stop her from doing so by blocking Jessie from the entrance. "Guy? Come on, we have to continue back to find that lake!"

Not until you completely warm up." Domino responded. "Jessie, if you go back out, you might fall unconscious again from the cold!"

"We actually do care about you, you know?" Meowth added.

"So try all you want, but we're going to prevent you from leaving until you are warm up to the max!" James also added.

"Well, I am!" Jessie lied. "So you all can move out of the way now!"

Leaf quickly feels Jessie's cold arm. "No, your arms are still cold! Go back to Rapidash and sit down. That's an order, Jessie."

Mew even cries out to Jessie to not go outside yet. "Mew!"

Jessie looks at her friends and rival blocking the entrance, she can't do anything as she looks down and then heads back over to her Rapidash, sitting down, and warming up some more. After Jessie sat down, her friends and rival all unblocked the entrance and went back to the spots that they were sitting from before.

"Okay, what activity should we do then while we sit here? I don't want to be bored here after all." Jessie says.

"We can have a nice conversation!" James suggested.

"About what?" Meowth questioned.

"Let's take a trip back to memory lane. What's your all's favorite moment during your entire Pokémon journey so far?" Leaf asked.

James immediately speaks up. "That's an easy one for me, so I'll go first. My favorite moment during my journey with Jessie and Domino is the day that Charmeleon evolved into Charizard just to save me from burning alive in the volcano on Cinnabar Island!"

The scene cuts to a flashback where James is on top of the volcano and confronting Butch with his Charmeleon. Butch's Primeape ends up kicking James right in the volcano.

"CHARMELEON!" Charmeleon immediately jumps into the volcano to go after its trainer.

The flashback cuts to inside the volcano where James is holding onto Charmeleon. "Well, I guess this is it for me… I'm so sorry I wasn't a better trainer, Charmeleon." James then slowly closes his eyes to brace for impact as he gets closer falling towards the lava.

"Charmeleon…" Charmeleon glows white and starts to evolve while in James' arms. Once Charmeleon fully evolves into Charizard, the flying dragon Pokémon quickly turns around and flies back to the surface, saving James from death.

James slowly opens his eyes and sees that he is still alive. "I'm not dead?" He looks down, noticing that Charmeleon has evolved into Charizard. "Charmeleon… y-you evolved into Charizard to save me from death!"

The flashback ends and it cuts back to the present time with James telling his story. "And that's why it's my favorite moment during my journey. If Charmeleon didn't evolve into Charizard, I would be dead right now, so it's my favorite moment during our journey by default!"

"So that's how your Charmeleon evolved into Charizard! I was so curious about that!" Domino admitted.

"Well now you know, Domino. Say, what's your favorite moment during our journey together?" James asked.

Domino starts to think about her favorite moment and then she gets one. "My favorite memory is when I beat Jessie in the finals of the Nugget Tournament, which led me to get Bulbasaur!"

Another flashback happens, it was Jessie vs. Domino in the Nugget Tournament finals, Jessie's Ekans currently has its whole body wrapped around Domino's Clefairy.

Domino had a worried look on her face, thinking this battle was almost over, and quickly shouted out her next move. "CLEFAIRY, METRONOME!"

While being wrapped by Ekans, Clefairy manages to pull Metronome off by moving its fingers back and forth. Clefairy manages to control Ekans and fling the Pokémon back towards Jessie's side of the bridge, using Psychic. This causes Ekans to faint during the battle.

Jessie was in disbelief, putting her hands on her forehead in shock and disbelief. "NO WAY!"

The flashback cuts to the gang walking down the trail with Domino holding her Poké Ball that she won by winning the tournament.

James continues looking at the Poké Ball with so much excitement on his face. "Domino, let's see what the mysterious Pokémon is!"

"Oh right! I hope it's a water Pokémon! Poké Ball, go!" Domino throws the Poké Ball in the air.

as the Poké Ball opens, a small blue-green skin Pokémon materializes with darker patches around its body. "Bulbasaur!"

"It's… it's… PERFECT!" Domino picks up her Bulbasaur and hugs it out of love.

The flashback ends and it cuts back to the present time once more with Domino finishing up. "And that's how I ended up getting my adorable little Bulbasaur. My Bulbasaur has been a huge help throughout my journey with you all!"

Jessie crosses her arms, expressing annoyance. "I still can't believe you beat me in that tournament by just using Metronome."

Meowth laughs. "Don't tell me you're still crying about that loss till this very day!"

Jessie blushes a little bit in embarrassment. "Okay Meowth, what's your favorite memory during our journey together?"

Meowth shrugs. "My favorite memory is when I helped Jessie beat Erika's Gloom at the final moment of Jessie's Celadon Gym Battle, helping her win the Rainbow Badge!"

Another flashback happens with Jessie battling Erika in the Celadon Gym, both trainers are down to their final Pokémon, Erika with Gloom, and Jessie with Meowth.

"Release your Solar Beam, Gloom!" Erika commanded, trying to end this battle.

"Meowth, Thunderbolt quick!" Jessie countered.

Gloom's flower is slowly opening up for a Splat Beam for the Pokémon to use, but Meowth quickly builds up electricity all around its fur. As Gloom blasts its Solar Beam, Meowth sends bolts of electricity right at Gloom. Both of their moves collide, but Meowth's Thunderbolt ends up coming out on top, hitting Gloom.

"GLOOOOOM!" Gloom cries out in extreme pain from getting electrocuted by Meowth's Thunderbolt, falling to the ground and fainting.

Jessie runs towards Meowth, on the battlefield, to hug her talking Pokémon. "We did it, Meowth! Thank you so much!"

Meowth starts grinning from winning. "Yeah, yeah, I'm the best!"

It skips to Jessie accepting the Rainbow Badge from Erika. "I got… the Rainbow Badge!" Jessie and Meowth pose together with the Rainbow Badge in Jessie's hands.

The flashback ends, cutting back to the present time with Meowth finishing up on his best moment during his journey with Jessie. "It's pretty obvious that Jessie would've lost if I wasn't there." He confidently says with a smirk.

"I still had some other Pokémon with me, but I'll let you have that moment, Meowth," Jessie says.

"So Jessie, what's your favorite moment during your journey?" Leaf asked.

"My favorite memory huh?" Jessie thinks for a little bit before answering. "I got it and it's pretty obvious. My favorite memory moment during my journey is ironically at the very start of my journey when I received Meowth as my starter!"

Another flashback starts with Jessie's favorite memory. Leaf, Jessie, and the other two Pallet Town trainers were in Professor Oak's lab as Professor Oak started presenting the starter Pokémon.

Jessie was about to take Bulbasaur until Leaf pushed her aside and snatched the Poké Ball in her hands. "Hey mama's girl, I hope you realized that you arrived last and I arrived here first, which means you don't deserve the first selection at all!"

Jessie gets up and starts glaring at Leaf. "Doesn't mean you don't have to push me to the ground!" She snapped back at her.

Jessie and Leaf both start glaring at each other with pure hatred for each other until Professor Oak decides to break it up. "Let's not fight here! Especially on this special day for both of you." Professor Oak looks at her granddaughter. "Leaf, are you choosing Bulbasaur as your starter?"

Leaf nods in response to her grandfather and starts spinning the Poké Ball with her finger. "Well, it has a leaf symbol on it, and with my name being Leaf, Bulbasaur is a great pick." She says, leaving after receiving a Pokédex and some Poké Balls from her grandfather.

After Jessie gets pushed aside from the other two Pallet Town trainers after trying to take the rest of the starters, the flashback cuts to Jessie about to enter a battle with Luke. "Umm… I was going to say-" Jessie then realizes that Meowth wants to battle for her. "I don't really have- to give you this brutal beating if you battle against me, but whatever you say, Luke!" She smirks before kneeling to Meowth's height and whispering to them. "Are you sure you want to battle for me?"

Meowth gives Jessie a thumbs up before turning their attention back to Luke and his Spearow as he commands the first move. "Alright Spearow, start this battle with a Peck Attack!"

it cuts to after the battle concluded with Meowth winning. "I think that kid won't know that was my first ever battle as an official Pokémon trainer." Jessie looks at the Meowth and smiles. "Thank you so much for battling for me, Meowth!"

Meowth looks at Jessie and reveals something to her as the Pokémon replies right back to her before chuckling. "Don't mention it, just repaying a favor."

"WHAT?!" Jessie was in shock at what she just heard, a Pokémon directly talking to her. "I-I CAN UNDERSTAND YOU?!"

Meowth shushes Jessie. "Can you keep it down before anyone nearby hears you? Or I'm going to regret helping ya."

"B-but it's just… I can understand you and everything. Do I have the powers to understand the cries of Pokémon now after beating that trainer?" Jessie assumed.

Meowth groans and facepalms. "No! That would be dumb and stupid! Look, I can speak the human language. I'm a Pokémon that can talk and the only one to do it so far! That's why that dumb criminal was trying to kidnap me earlier."

"'Dumb criminal'? Wait, are you the same Meowth from earlier that I just saved from you being stolen by that person with the red R uniform?" Jessie asked.

Meowth nods and starts telling the story. "Bingo! You see, I broke out from my Poké Ball and just escaped from that old geezer's lab. I didn't want to be someone's Pokémon, but anyway, after I ran outside, I shouted that I was free, repeatedly. However, that would be a huge mistake as I accidentally revealed my talking abilities to that criminal in disguise without knowing. He approached me and tried to persuade me to come with him, but as soon I refused, he grabbed me and made a run for it."

"So that's where I came in and saved you, right?" Jessie asked.

Meowth nods. "Yep! So consider this a returned favor and now we're even!" He turns around and starts heading back into the tall grass.

"Wait, Meowth, I want to ask you something!" Jessie says.

Meowth stops and turns around to Jessie. "What is it now?"

"You said that you came from the 'old geezer's lab' right? Do you mean Professor Oak?" Jessie asked.

"That's what his name was?" Meowth questioned. "Well, I guess so, yeah!"

"So you were the fourth starter that Oak was talking about! Look, I was going to arrive early, but I ended up arriving late because I was busy trying to save you. Look, I can protect you from criminals trying to steal you because of your gift of speech. Will you please be my starter Pokémon and join me? " Jessie asked.

Meowth raises an eyebrow at Jessie. "You want me to join you despite the fact I said that I didn't want to be anyone's Pokémon a few seconds ago?"

"Look…" Jessie pulls out the Poké Ball with scratch mark symbols on the top. "Professor Oak gave me this Poké Ball just in case I ran into the fourth starter that got away and that's you. This must be your Poké Ball, so technically, you are my Pokémon whether you like it or not. I know you don't like being someone's Pokémon, but you can trust me."

Meowth thinks for a little bit before finally answering. "Fine, I'll be your Pokémon, but there are a few conditions. First condition, if you turn out to be a trash trainer after all, I will leave you. The second and final condition, I will not be in those filthy Poké Balls, I despise them and I would rather be out here in the nice fresh air anyway. Are we clear?"

Jessie nods. "Yep, loud and clear!" She picks up Meowth and hugs the talking Pokémon tightly. "Congrats on being the first member of Jessie's team!"

"TOO TIGHT! TOO TIGHT!" Meowth scratches Jessie across the face, causing her to let go of him.

Jessie shrieks in pain and immediately lets go of Meowth. "Sorry…"

The flashback ends, cutting back to the present time with Jessie concluding her favorite moment during her journey. "And after that day, the rest is history. Who knows what my Pokémon journey would've been if Meowth didn't join me on my journey as my starter!"

"Oh yeah, that reminds me. Sorry about pushing you back there. If we didn't physically hate each other back then, I would've let you have Bulbasaur." Leaf chuckles in embarrassment, rubbing the back of her head.

"Actually, I'm glad that you did take Bulbasaur from me, Leaf. I can't imagine what Pokémon I should start my journey with other than Meowth." Jessie looks at Meowth and smiles.

"And if I'm being honest, I also can't imagine what other human should be my trainer," Meowth admits, looking away and blushing.

Jessie smiles even more cheerfully now. "Aww, thank you so much, Meowth!"

Meowth continues looking away from Jessie, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, whatever!"

Domino turns to Leaf. "Leaf, what's your favorite moment during your journey?"

"Oh, that's easy. I already told Jessie this, but-" Leaf pulls out Eevee's Poké Ball and looks at it. "My favorite moment during my Pokémon journey is when I found Eevee in that building in Celadon City. After some trainer abandoned it, I took Eevee under my wing and they easily became my favorite Pokémon I have on my team!" Leaf then puts Eevee's Poké Ball back inside her handbag.

"That's so sweet of you, Leaf. I'm glad you did!" Domino responded with a smile.

Jessie stands up. "Okay, I'm being serious right now. Thanks to revisiting old events, I'm all warmed up to continue finding the lake in the mountains!"

Domino, James, Meowth, and Leaf all looked at each other before all of them stood up as well. "If you say so, Jess," James says.

"Rapidash, thank you so much for your help. You may now return!" Jessie recalls Rapidash back in its Poké Ball. "Now let's go find that lake for Mew!"

"Mew!" Mew cries out happily.

The gang and Leaf all left the igloo as they continued their adventure throughout the Andes Mountains to find the lake for Mew. It cuts back to the city where the Team Rocket trio is after a major fight. It shows Mondo walking on the streets and worried about his partners-in-crime.

"Come on Butchy, where are you?!" Mondo said to himself as he looked around after sprinting off towards Butch. He started asking other people around him for answers, however, Mondo was met with all the people he asked who couldn't speak English until he saw one man walking. "Hey you, do you speak English?" Mondo asked the man.

The man nods in response. "I can speak English. What's the problem?"

Mondo sighs in relief. "Good. Have you seen a man with green hair, kinda tall, and has a black uniform with the letter R on it?"

The man nods in response. "I think I know who you are talking about. Although he looked pretty upset."

"That's most likely him," Mondo responded. "Do you know where he went?"

"Oh yes, he went that way!" The man pointed in the direction behind him.

Mondo bows. "Thank you so much!" Hey says before sprinting off to the direction where the man pointed at. A few seconds have passed and Mondo looks up to see Butch sitting on the roof of a building, staring directly at the sky. "There you are!" He sprints into the building.

It cuts to the roof where Butch is at, looking at the sky. He grits his teeth in frustration. "Damn you, Cassidy!" Butch hears a familiar voice behind him, calling out his name.

"Butch…" Mondo walks towards his partner-in-crime and sits next to him. "Hey man, what's up?"

"The sky, which I'm looking at right now…" Butch answered, snarky. "Why are you even here and talking to me after that outburst on Cassidy?"

Mondo ignores the snarky response from Butch and just looks at him with a frown. "So… you finally got the courage to say what's been on your mind on Cassidy."

"Good," Butch replied. "She deserves it, after all. I was sick and tired of her god-awful plans and bad leadership. She can't even lead an old lady across the road, that's how much she sucks!"

"I don't know, it seems like you didn't mean that stuff to Cassidy at all." Mondo assumes.

Butch looks at Mondo with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean by that? I did mean every single thing I said to Cassidy, one hundred percent!"

Mondo just shakes his head. "Oh come on, Butch! When Cassidy snapped back at you and gave you a dose of reality, I saw you cry as you turned around and left. You know that Cassidy was right. When we fail, we fail as a team. Sure, we point fingers at the very beginning of who's fault it is, but down the road, we three all accept that it's you, me, and Cassidy's fault, as a team!"

Butch grits his teeth from Mondo, mentioning that he saw him crying. "Mondo… I just want to be a badass, one of the badass members of Team Rocket, but around the organization, I'm just a simple joke, because of the previous failures this trio has suffered throughout the times! I want to have money, power, and the hot Team Rocket girls around my shoulders! But that is never going to happen as long I'm still in this lame trio!"

Mondo looks directly at Butch and asks him a reality question. "So why don't you just leave then?"

Butch looks at Mondo and then back at the sky, trying to ignore Mondo's question.

"You know the reason why we became a trio is because Cassidy dished her last partners and demanded a new one, which Giovanni assigned us with her. Think about it, Butch, you have the choice to leave me and Cassidy right now and ask Giovanni for a new partner or two, maybe even go solo! But you choose to stay with us despite all of our previous failures to capture that twerpette's talking Meowth. So I'm going to ask you that question again, Butch. Why don't you just walk into Giovanni's office and demand new partners?"

Butch grits his teeth while looking at the sky, he finally turns to face Mondo with tears in his eyes. "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU GUYS, ALRIGHT?! If this was a couple of months ago when Giovanni assigned us to Cassidy, I would've been out the door! But… I grew with you guys, we three have always been together even despite our previous failures. That's why I don't dare to leave this trio!" Butch then puts his head in his hands and groans. "You're right, Mondo. I didn't mean what I said to Cassidy, but I'm just so sick and tired of the failing and the bad plans. Getting lost in Guyana was just the final straw."

Mondo pats Butch's back to comfort him. "I do have to agree. I think Cassidy's dedication to stealing Mew for the boss has gotten us lost."

"You think?" Butch says, rhetorically. "I want to apologize but… I don't think Cassidy even wants to see my face right now."

"Don't worry-" Mondo stands up. "I'm going to find Cassidy and have a talk with her as well. To be honest, Butch, I do love this trio too and I would hate to see it break up like this. You can count on me!" He gives his partner-in-crime a thumbs up.

Butch smiles at Mondo, giving him a thumbs up back. "Good luck, Mondo!"

Mondo nods in response at Butch wishing him good luck as he heads back down to the stairs of the roof. Butch stays sitting on the roof and continues looking at the sky. It cuts back to the Andes Mountains where the gang and Leaf continue back walking through the cold and looking for the mysterious lake.

"I have a question. How are we supposed to find this mysterious lake?" Leaf asked.

Jessie shrugs in response. "Maybe it's just out in the open like any other regular lake?" She assumes.

"If we get there, I hope it's warm so that I don't have to fight this cold anymore!" Domino pouts.

"Luckily I was under your cap and also my fur kept me warm throughout this winter mountain!" Meowth chuckles.

"I just hope we're getting closer to this secret and mysterious lake," James says.

A Pokémon, Iron-Masked Marauder's Rhydon. appears right in front of the gang and Leaf, looking extremely angry towards them and isn't happy at all. The gang and Leaf are oblivious that this Rhydon belongs to the Iron-Masked Marauder.

"Is that… a Rhydon?" Jessie questioned.

Domino looks extremely scared. "I-it doesn't look happy at all."

"What's a Rhydon doing in these mountains anyways?" Leaf also questioned.

James also looks a little scared too. "I don't know, but I don't like their look at all."

Rhydon sees Mew on Jessie's shoulder, then it starts dashing toward Jessie, about to attack the trainer.

"AH! It's coming after me!" Jessie yelled out before covering her face with her hands to brace for impact.

Meowth jumps off of Domino's shoulder, sharpening his claws while in the air, and scratches Rhydon right across the face, stunning the drill Pokémon for a little bit. "You don't attack my trainer, pal!"

Mew cheerfully cried out for Meowth for protecting Jessie. "Mew!"

Jessie uncovers her face and sees that Meowth protected her. "Thank you so much, Meowth!"

"No time to thank me, right now we need to run before Rhydon isn't stunned anymore!" Meowth ordered.

James notices a cave in the distance and points it out. "Quick everyone, to that cave!"

The gang and Meowth quickly start sprinting towards the cave that James pointed out. Rhydon isn't stunned by Meowth's Scratch anymore and watches the gang and Leaf go inside the cave. Instead of chasing after them, Rhydon heads off in a different direction, most likely going to inform its trainer, the Iron-Masked Marauder, where the gang and Leaf are.

It cuts inside the cave where the gang and Leaf sprinted towards inside. They immediately started catching their breath after running away from Rhydon.

"Well… the cave is much less cold than outside, but it is still a little chilly," Domino stated, shivering a little.

"Is that Rhydon following us?" James asked.

Leaf looks at the entrance of the cave where they entered and doesn't see Rhydon at all. "I think we're in the clear, I don't see Rhydon."

"Looks like Meowth stunned it for enough time so that we can escape from it." Jessie looks at her Meowth. "Again, thank you so much Meowth, that Rhydon looked like it was coming after me!"

"I wasn't going to let that dumb Rhydon hurt you!" Meowth grumbles to himself. "Even though you're giving Mew more attention than me."

"What was that?" Jessie asked, now hearing what Meowth said to himself. "I didn't catch that last part."

"NOTHING!" Meowth chuckles and rubs the back of his head. "Just, you're welcome from me saving you from that Rhydon!"

"Should we head back out to the outside now that the Rhydon is gone?" James suggested.

"Hold on here, caves do support a lot of water, correct?" Domino snaps her fingers. "Maybe the secret Mew lake is inside a cave instead of just out in the open!"

"So you're saying we should explore this cave?" Jessie asked.

Domino nods. "Exactly."

"Well… I'd rather look in this cave than outside, so I'm all for it!" James agrees with the idea.

Leaf also agrees with the idea as well. "Alright, couldn't hurt to give it a shot!"

Jessie hasn't decided yet, looking a little concerned that this could be a waste of time if the lake is not here. She looks at Mew who's on her shoulder. "What do you think, Mew? Should we explore this cave?"

Mew cheerfully nods in response, also agreeing with Domino's idea to explore this cave. "Mew!"

"I guess we're exploring the cave then." Jessie chuckles.

Domino pumps her fist up in the air. "Woohoo!"

The gang and Leaf begin to explore deeper into the cave that they just discovered, thinking it contains the secret and mysterious lake. It cuts back to the city where Mondo is walking on the streets, trying to find Cassidy this time.

"Come on Cassidy, where are you?!" Mondo grits his teeth. "I think I asked almost every single person here, yet none of them can direct me or speak English!" He starts taking deep breaths. "Alright Mondo calm down, you will find her, just close your eyes, and maybe the answer will be revealed." Mondo closes his eyes, taking deep breaths, after a few seconds, he hears what sounds like scattering, and a man yelling, then he opens his eyes.

Raticate was running from a butcher shop with cooked meat in its mouth after the owner was yelling at it in Spanish.

"Could that be Cassidy's Raticate?" Mondo thought to himself. "I better follow it just in case!" Mondo sprints to the dark alley, passing the butcher shop along the way to follow the Raticate.

It cuts to Raticate running through the dark alley, with cooked meat in its mouth, and soon ending up arriving at its trainer, which was indeed Cassidy.

Cassidy smiles and accepts the cooked meat from Raticate's mouth. "Good Raticate! That's a good Pokémon!" She tears off two pieces, one for herself, and one for Raticate, tosses it in the air as Raticate catches it with its mouth, and then they both start eating. As soon as they finished, Cassidy recalled Raticate back in its Poké Ball.

Soon Mondo arrives after following Raticate, smiling after seeing Cassidy. "Cassidy!"

The sound of Mondo startled Cassidy as she accidentally swallowed her cooked meat too early and started choking for a little bit before swallowing it whole, taking a few deep breaths before looking at Mondo. "Mondo, what are you doing here?" She asked with an annoyed tone.

"That fight with Butch was pretty brutal, so I decided to check up on you, seeing if you're okay," Mondo responded.

"I appreciate the concern, but I don't need to be checked up upon. Besides, I don't need Butch at all. As soon as I eat to fill up my stomach, I'm finding that twerpette and steak Mew for the boss for myself!" Cassidy takes another bite of her cooked meat.

Mondo sighs. "You see Cassidy, this is why you got into an argument with Butch. It feels like you care more about stealing the Twerpette's Mew or talking Meowth than us, your partners-in-crime!"

Cassidy scoffs. "You're now just noticing? I focus more on completing my mission and that is to steal rare, valuable, and powerful Pokémon for the boss, like Mew and that talking Meowth! If Butch can't accept that then he can just leave this trio, then you and I can be a duo!"

"Cassidy… Butch cares about you, I care about you, I want you to do the same thing with us. Besides, even if you try to deny it, I know you care about us first rather than stealing that talking Meowth!" Mondo crosses his arms and smirks.

Cassidy looks at Mondo then laughs. "Yeah, right! What makes you say that? Didn't you hear what I just said? My number one objective in my eyes is to steal rare, valuable, and powerful Pokémon for the boss!"

Once more, Mondo asks Cassidy a reality question just like what he did to Butch. "Then why haven't you requested Giovanni for new members yet?"

Cassidy doesn't laugh this time and just looks at Mondo with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Mondo shrugs. "I mean… the reason why me, you, and Butch are together, it's because you couldn't just stand your previous partners, so you requested Giovanni for new ones and that was the day where we became a trio! So, after tons and tons of failures, you're still sticking with us. So why haven't you requested new partners?"

Cassidy grits her teeth before taking a big sigh and answering Mondo's question honestly. "Alright, you got me… maybe I don't want to leave because I know you two idiots' hearts would be broken without me and I'm not going to let that happen because maybe I do care about you two more."

Mondo chuckles. "You're an idiot too, you know, just like Butch said.

Cassidy chuckles with Mondo. "Okay, maybe this following the twerps to South America plan wasn't a good plan now that I'm thinking of it." She frowns. "But Butch might still be upset with me, so I don't know if I should look for him."

Mondo smiles cheerfully. "I'm sure Butch is willing to accept your apology right now."

"Really? How would I find him then?" Cassidy asked.

"If you two were the ultimate partners-in-crime of Team Rocket, you both could find each other without any help!" Mondo replied.

Cassidy stops leaning on the wall and looks confident. "You're right! Thank you, Mondo!" She then sprints out of the dark alley to find Butch.

It cuts to the top of the building where Butch is, feeling regret in his eyes, he grits his teeth. "Dammit, Mondo is right. I have to find Cassidy and apologize!" Butch turns around and sprints towards the stairs and out of the building in general, as he starts looking for Cassidy on the streets.

It cuts to the cave where the gang and Leaf are at. The group is exploring more and more deep into the cave, but it becomes darker and darker.

"I can barely see anything here! Does someone have a light or something?" Meowth asked.

Jessie, James, and Domino responded with disappointing answers. "I'm letting Rapidash rest after warming me up." "Charizard is paralyzed." "I don't have any fire-type Pokémon."

Leaf chuckles and pulls out a Poké Ball. "You all should be lucky that I wanted to tag along with you all! Ninetales, we need your assistance!" She sends her Ninetales out.

Ninetales materializes. "Ninetales!"

"Ninetales, use your flamethrower to light up the way for us!" Leaf ordered.

"Ninetales!" Ninetales opens its mouth and fire starts coming out, lighting a path for the group.

The gang smiles at Ninetales leading the path for them as Jessie turns to Leaf. "Nice job, Leaf!"

"We need to find that lake before Ninetales gets tired," Leaf demanded.

The gang nods as they and Leaf continue to go deeper into the cave while Ninetales is helping with the light from its flamethrower. A time cut of the group continues exploring the cave as Ninetales starts getting a little tired from using Flamethrower.

Leaf notices her Pokémon is getting tired. "Ninetales, do you want me to recall you back?"

Ninetales immediately shakes its head no and continues using its flamethrower.

Leaf has a worried expression on her face. "If you say so…"

It cuts to the group exploring more deeper into the cave, until eventually they come across some sort of dead end. Everyone groans in annoyance once seeing the dead end.

"A dead end?! All of that walking for a dumb dead end?!" Meowth falls on the floor in exhaustion.

Lear looks at her Ninetales, seeing it's getting tired. "And Ninetales is getting very tired soon, I think we're going to have to get out of the cave without light."

Jessie sighs and looks at Mew. "Mew, no matter how many dead ends we come across, I will find that lake for you!"

Mew has a cheerful look in its eyes. "Mew!"

Domino looks at the cave wall, which is forming the dead end and she sees an imprinted rectangular shape on the wall. "Hey guys, look." She pointed out.

The others soon see the imprinted rectangular shape on the cave wall, leading them to be confused. "Do you think a piece of it fell out of the cave wall or something?" Leaf asked.

Domino shakes her head no. "I don't think so, otherwise it would be such a coincidence that a perfect piece of rectangular shape tore apart from the wall of this part of the cave."

"Hmm… yeah, just look at the shape. It's so perfect that you can fit a book in there." Jessie stated.

However, Jessie's statement gave James an idea. James pulls out the journal earlier, containing the entries of information about Mew. "Will this even work?"

"Will what work, Jimmy?" Meowth asked.

"Let's see here…" James walks towards the cave wall with the rest just watching him in confusion. James places the journal in the imprinted rectangular shape of the wall.

A few seconds pass and the cave starts shaking as rocks begin to fall from the ceiling above.

"TAKE COVER!" As soon as Leaf shouted that, the group immediately took cover to avoid getting hit by the falling rocks above.

However, the cave wall making the dead end starts slowly opening, revealing a secret room to the gang, light is immediately supported where the point Ninetales doesn't need to keep using Flamethrower anymore. Once the wall fully opens, the rocks stop falling from the ceiling of the cave.

"It… stopped?" Domino questioned.

The group slowly turns around to see the secret cave room among them. It was filled with many pink crystals on the wall to completely light up the room and in the middle of the cave room is a lake.

"Is that the… mysterious secret lake we have been searching for?!" Leaf stated in disbelief, she also recalls Ninetales from the pink crystals producing light. "Thank you so much, Ninetales, you deserve a good rest!"

"A-are you sure this is the right lake?" Jessie asked, also in disbelief and shocked as well.

"We would have never found this lake at all while walking outside on the mountain. We had to find this by placing a journal inside a rectangular-shaped hole. This lake is so secretive and mysterious, it has to be the one we were looking for!" James confirmed.

"Jessie, go throw Mew in that lake!" Domino ordered.

"Yeah! Just do it already so I can go home!" Meowth added.

Jessie looks at Mew with excitement in her eyes. "Are you ready, Mew?!"

Mew starts nodding all over the place with excitement in its eyes, crying out for joy. "Mew! Mew! Mew!" Mew jumps down into Jessie's arms.

Jessie looks at Mew in her arms and then she heads toward the mysterious lake. "Okay, on three. One! Two! Thr-"

Before Jessie could even throw Mew in the lake, a yell stopped her in her tracks. "STOP!"

The group all looked where that voice came from and it was the Iron-Masked Marauder pointing his arm cannon right at Jessie. "Throw that Mew in the lake or make one stupid move, I will shoot you with this arm cannon, and you will automatically die, you annoying pink hat brat!"

"It's that iron-masked jerk!" Leaf pointed out.

"How did you find us here at all?!" Domino asked in disbelief.

"Oh you know, a little Rhydon told me that a pink hat brat with a Mew just went inside a cave with its loser friends!" The Iron-Masked Marauder answered.

As soon as the Iron-Masked Marauder says that, all of his six Pokémon appear right behind him, Dragonite, Skarmory, Kingler, Nidoking, Machamp, and that same Rhydon the group encountered earlier are right behind Iron-Masked Marauder.

The group immediately recognizes the same Rhydon they encountered earlier. "I knew that Pokémon must've had a trainer! It wouldn't just be wandering around randomly on a mountain!" Domino says.

Jessie is glaring right at the Iron-Masked Marauder, looking at the arm cannon pointed at her. "What do you want from me to not kill me?"

"My demands are simple, girl. Give me Mew so I can capture it in this Master Ball." The Iron-Masked Marauder holds up the Master Ball. "If you make one wrong move, I'll shoot you. If any of your friends also make the wrong move, I'll also shoot you. So you better think long and hard about your next choice of movements if you want to keep living!"

Jessie slowly looks at Mew in her arms, Mew looks back at Mew at her with a sad expression on the Pokémon, then Jessie looks back at the Iron-Masked Marauder and starts taking steps towards him, looking like she decided to give up Mew.

"W-we were… so close," Leaf says, looking down in defeat as Domino, James, and Meowth followed by also looking down with a sigh.

As Jessie was slowly walking towards the Iron-Masked Marauder, who had an evil grin on his face, she glared right at the iron-masked Team Rocket member, but all of a sudden, Jessie quickly turned herself around and threw Mew right into the mysterious lake, making a huge splash.

"NO!" The Iron-Masked Marauder immediately blasted his arm cannon right at Jessie the moment she turned around.

Jessie gets hit by the arm cannon and she flies back hard, hitting the cave wall, and soon lands right on the ground, instantly killing her right on the spot.

Her friends and rival immediately gasped in shock as Electabuzz, Blastoise, and Gengar immediately busted out in their Poké Balls from Jessie's purse, everyone screaming out her name in disbelief. "JESSIE!" "ELEBUBUBU!" "BLASTOISE!" "GENGAR!" Meowth immediately sprints towards her trainer.

"J-Jessie?" Meowth starts poking at Jessie, trying to get her to wake up, but unfortunately she doesn't. "Jessie, wake up!" The talking Pokémon screamed out.

The Iron-Masked Marauder grits his teeth in frustration. "Dumb, girl! I told her to not make a stupid move and she did just that!"

Jessie's friends, including her rival, Leaf, all slowly look at the Iron-Masked Marauder with pure hatred in their eyes after experiencing Jessie getting shot. Domino sends her Pokémon out, and Starmie, Clefable, and Bulbasaur all materialize, saying their cries. James also sends his Pokémon out, minus Charizard. Koffing, Pikachu, his Gengar, and Slowbro all materialize, saying their cries out as well. And finally, Leaf sends all of her Pokémon out, minus Ninetales. Venusaur, her own Machamp, Alakazam, Eevee, and Lapras all materialize, saying their cries out as well.

James has never sounded this very serious at all, staring directly down the Iron-Masked Marauder with a death glare. "You have done it this time you iron-masked freak…"

So does Domino too, sounding so serious and giving the Iron-Masked Marauder a death glare. "You mess with Jessie… you mess with all of us."

Leaf was also giving the Iron-Masked Marauder a death glare too and sounding very serious. "I'm getting so tired of looking at his stupid iron mask…"

"You all want a full-out Pokémon battle huh? If I have to destroy every single one of you to get my hands on Mew and complete my mission, then so be it!"

Domino, James, Leaf, and the Iron-Masked Marauder all commanded the Pokémon they had outside from their Poké Balls at the same time. "POKÉMON, ATTACK!"

Soon after everyone ordered their Pokémon to attack, this area turned into a full-out Pokémon war. The gangs, including Jessie's Pokémon, minus Meowth who was focusing more on Jessie on the ground, all started attacking the Iron-Masked Marauder's Pokémon, attacking right back at them.

As the Pokémon war was happening, Meowth was still by Jessie's side, still trying to wake her up. "Jessie, wake up, please! WAKE UP!" Meowth starts slapping his trainer, trying to wake Jessie up, but once more she doesn't, still denying that Jessie is dead. Meowth starts bursting into tears. "S-stop playing this prank on me, you ass!" The talking Pokémon scratches Jessie right on the face, but she still isn't waking up.

Meanwhile, inside the lake, Mew was in the lake with its eyes shut. Mew's powers were slowly being restored while being in the lake. Back at the surface during the Pokémon war, each Pokémon was getting hit by moves and dodging them, but even with the group having the Pokémon number advantage over the Iron-Masked Marauder, his Pokémon were just too strong and Vicious' Pokémon looked like they were winning the entire Pokémon war by knocking out all the group's Pokémon.

The Iron-Masked Marauder stands tall above them. "Simpletons! Even with the number advantage, my Pokémon are just too powerful. Nothing in the world can stop me at all!"

The group all see their Pokémon lying on the ground, completely tired from the battle as they look down in disappointment. "I-I can't believe we let Jessie down," James says, disappointed in himself.

Meowth was still looking down at Jessie, still bowling his eyes out at the loss of his trainer. "I-I'm sorry for not being a better Pokémon, Jess." Meowth sees a shadow heading towards him and he looks up to see the Iron-Masked Marauder slowly walk towards the talking Pokémon.

"The boss would give me a bonus and I'll bow down in the Team Rocket Hall of Fame if I bring the Pokémon he wanted from the very beginning he assigned me with, the talking Meowth with Mew." The Iron-Masked Marauder aims his arm cannon right at Meowth. "Alright talking cat, you have two options. One option is that you can come with me so I can give you to the boss. The other option is that if you miss your trainer so much, I'll allow reuniting with her by blasting you with my arm cannon as well!"

Domino tries to get up to plan a sneak attack, but Nidoking roars directly at her as Vicious wags her finger. "If one of you tries to pull something like a sneak attack, then one of my Pokémon will gladly take care of you!" The Iron-Masked Marauder turns his head back onto Meowth. "So what's it going to be, cat?"

Meowth was sweating on this decision, either he refuses to be captured by Team Rocket and dies with Jessie or he agrees to be captured to continue living. Meowth was opening his mouth, about to make his decision, until all of a sudden, a huge glowing light coming from the lake started filling up the room of the cave, causing everyone, including the Pokémon to shield their eyes.

"AH!" The Iron-Masked Marauder tries to look at the glowing light coming from the lake. "What is that?!"

Mew slowly starts ascending above the surface of the lake, with its eyes closed. The light source was coming from the New Species Pokémon, hinting that Mew's powers were restored from being in the lake.

"The light must be coming from Mew!" Domino pointed out.

"Good! The perfect opportunity to catch it!" The Iron-Masked Marauder pulls out the Master Ball. "Master Ball, go!" Vicious throws the Master Ball right at Mew, the source of the glowing light.

But as soon the Master Ball makes contact with the glowing light surrounding Mew, the Master Ball completely incinerates out of existence.

The Iron-Masked Marauder couldn't believe what he just saw. "WHAT?!" Vicious immediately turns to his Pokémon. "Attack Mew, now!" He ordered.

Dragonite, Skarmory Nidoking, Rhydon, Kingler, and Machamp all used a move right at the glowing Mew, but as soon as they made contact, every move got reflected by even stronger towards each Pokémon. All of Vicious' Pokémon get hit, all falling on the ground and completely fainting.

The Iron-Masked Marauder grits his teeth in frustration, recalling all of his Pokémon. "When you want to get something done, you gotta do it yourself!" Vicious starts sprinting towards the glowing Mew.

"NO, DON'T!" Leaf tries to warn Vicious, but he doesn't listen.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" The Iron-Masked Marauder lets out one powerful scream before dashing towards Mew, however, before he can grab the New Species Pokémon, a blue aura surrounds Vicious as he just stops in mid-air and is seen completely floating. "What is going on here?! I can't move!" Vicious tries to move, struggling to do so, but he can't.

The Iron-Masked Marauder has lost complete movement from his body as Mew is now in control of Vicious' movements by its psychic powers. The Iron-Masked Marauder was sent flying out of the cave room and out of the cave in general with a scream by Mew using its telekinesis powers.

It cuts to outside where the Iron-Masked Marauder is screaming his lungs out, then he lands on the cold hard snowy surface of the mountain as he gets up to dust all the snow off. "I need to get back in there!" However, before Vicious can take off back into the cave, he feels a vibration on the surface and starts stumbling. "What the?!" The Iron-Masked Marauder scream causes the mountain to have an avalanche, a mass of snow, ice, and rocks start heading towards Vicious' way. He lets out one more final scream before being completely buried deep below the snow.

The avalanche also has completely blocked off the cave entrance as well, making it inaccessible now as it cuts back inside the cave room. The glow coming from Mew wears off.

"Mew! Mew! Mew!" Mew starts floating around happily, knowing that its powers are now back!

The group, minus Meowth, all smile from seeing Mew float around. "Look! Mew's powers are back and better than ever!" Domino says.

However, Domino, James, and Leaf's smiles immediately fade away as soon they hear crying, they turn to see Meowth still looking down at the deceased Jessie. He places his palm on his trainer. Rapidash and Scizor let themselves out of their Poké Ball and Safari Ball, as the rest of Jessie's Pokémon looked down at their deceased trainer, crying their eyes out.

Soon, Domino, James, and Leaf slowly approach their deceased friend, lying on the ground and not moving one muscle. "Jessie…" James says, before he starts shedding tears, crying his eyes out, soon Domino follows through, she starts crying as well and finally, Leaf does too, including all of their Pokémon behind them.

In the background, Mew sees everyone crying, and the Pokémon slowly floats toward everyone and looks down at the deceased Jessie for themselves. Mew expresses sadness, remembering the determination Jessie had to find the lake and restore their power, being completely loved by her along the adventure, and finally sacrificing herself to throw them in the lake to have their powers restored. Mew slowly closes its eyes and lets out a powerful cry. "MEEEEEEEEEEEW!"

During Mew's powerful cry, another glow of light surrounds Mew, except it has a pink color to it. Everyone was looking in shock as they took a step back from Jessie's body because of the pink light. The pink light aims right at the deceased Jessie, now her body being surrounded by the pink light coming from Mew. After a few seconds, the pink light slowly disappears and Mew starts slowly taking deep breaths.

All of a sudden, Jessie's eyes slowly start to open to everyone's shock and cheerfulness. "Ugh… what happened?" Jessie starts rubbing the side of her head.

"JESSIE!" The group said as all of the Pokémon cried in joy. Everyone sprints towards Jessie, giving her the most bear hug with this many living things in one.

"Wow! This is the most bear hug I have been in with this many life forms." Jessie chuckles before scratching her head. "But seriously, what happened?"

Domino, Leaf, and James all answered Jessie's question. "After you threw Mew in the lake, the iron-masked guy shot you with that arm cannon of his. You died! "Mew regained his powers and ended that iron-masked freak for good!" "Then Mew uses a lot of its psychic power to revive you back from the dead!"

"Wow… so I died and came back to life? That's pretty awesome!" Jessie chuckles.

Meowth scratches Jessie out of love. "Don't you ever die on Meowth again like that!"

"OW!" Jessie holds her face from pain. "Noted…"

Mew slowly starts floating towards Jessie with so much happiness. "Mew!"

"Mew…" Jessie grabs Mew and gives the Pokémon a tight hug. "Thank you so much for bringing me back to this world!"

Mew embraces the tight hug from Jessie and enjoys the moment as it lasts. "Mew!"

Domino notices something. "Sorry to interrupt the moment but I realized that an avalanche just happened and I think it trapped us in this cave! How are we going to get out of here?"

"Oh no! Don't tell me we're stuck here forever?!" Leaf starts to panic.

"Let's not panic now. Maybe we can use our fire Pokémon to melt us out of here?" James suggested.

Mew immediately speaks up. "Mew!"

Meowth starts translating what Mew just said, smiling while doing so. "It looks like that won't be a problem at all. Mew can just teleport us out of here and back to Pallet Town as well!"

The gang and Leaf all smile at this with joy. "That's awesome Mew! Will you do the honors and teleport us back to Pallet Town?" Jessie asked.

Mew nods, the Pokémon begins to glow white and then it expands across the cave room. After it fades away, Mew, the group, and the Pokémon all disappear out of the cave room. It seems that Mew used Teleport and teleported everyone out of the room.

It cuts all the way back to Professor Oak's lab, where Professor Oak is busy doing research, all of a sudden, white silhouettes appear right in the lab as Professor Oak stops what he is doing. "What's this?"

Jessie, her friends, and all of the Pokémon including Mew appear right in the lab all safe and sound. The group all looked around with a satisfied smile, knowing where they were. "We're back at Professor Oak's lab!" Domino pointed out.

"LEAF!" Professor Oak runs over to his granddaughter and hugs her. "I'm so glad you're safe and sound."

"Gramps!" Leaf sighs and hugs her grandfather back with a smile. "Thanks for your concern."

Mew starts floating around Professor Oak's lab, crying out in joy. "Mew! Mew! Mew!"

Professor Oak looks at Mew floating around his lab with a smile and then directs his attention to Jessie. "I see you managed to restore Mew's powers, Jessie!"

Jessie chuckles and gladly smiles back with a nod. "Yep! It was kind of a difficult task, but… we did it! We all did it together!"

Professor Oak nods. "Well, I'm proud of all of you. You all took the challenge of climbing that mountain and you succeeded. I saw the potential of you, Jessie, and you too, Leaf, when the day you both left Pallet Town to begin your Pokémon Journeys! Look how far you two came along the way!"

Jessie rubs her head in embarrassment. "You're too kind, Professor!" Jessie gets a confident look on her face, pumping her fist in the air. "The next stop for us is Viridian City, where me and Leaf are going to get our eighth and final requirement badge for the Kanto League Tournament!" She turns to her rival, Leaf. "Isn't that right, Leaf?"

Leaf nods with a confident smirk. "Yep, I'm obviously going to beat whoever's the Gym Leader there! And Viridian City is just through Route 1! We should start heading there already!"

Professor Oak smiles and laughs. "You two have never changed since the day you left! Oh, that reminds me!" Professor Oak leaves his research room for a little bit and comes back, holding Domino's blue Pokémon Egg. "Don't forget about your Pokémon Egg, Domino. I took care of it the best I could while you were away!"

Domino smiles in delight and accepts her blue Pokémon Egg back. "Thank you so much, Professor!" She deeply hugs her Pokémon Egg, starts rubbing it out of affection, and begins talking to it. "Mom misses you so much!"

Everyone looks at Domino with a weirded-out expression as she is talking to her egg. "She's still acting as if that egg can talk back to her," Meowth whispered to James.

James nods and whispers back to the talking Pokémon. "Tell me about it."

"Well, I should be going back to my research. All of you should get going to Viridian City and good luck with your final Gym Badge, Jessie and Leaf." Professor Oak says.

Both Jessie and Leaf bow in response. "Thank you, Professor!" They both said.

Mew floats above Jessie and begins saying something to her. "Mew! Mew! Mew!"

"What is it, Mew?" Jessie asked.

Meowth translates what Mew said. "Mew said that they will be leaving you all soon and wants to thank all of us for your help."

Jessie smiles and bows to the Pokémon. "And thank you for everything as well, Mew! Shall we walk towards the entrance of Route 1 before you leave?"

Mew nods in response, accepting Jessie's offer. "Mew!"

It cuts to the gang and Leaf arriving at the entrance of Route 1 as they turn around to face Mew as the New Species Pokémon is ready to take off.

"Well Mew… I-I guess this is goodbye. I'm going to miss you." Jessie starts crying a little from seeing that Mew has to leave them.

"Mew!" Mew floats towards Jessie and nuzzles her cheek out of happiness and affection.

Jessie pets Mew's head a little with a smile as the Pokémon was nuzzling her cheek. "I hope we will see each other again in the future!"

Mew looks at Jessie and nods in agreement. The new species Pokémon turns around and begins floating up in the air. Jessie, Meowth, Domino, and James all waved goodbye to Mew and said their goodbyes as Mew officially went so high in the air that the group couldn't see it with their own eyes.

"Well…" Jessie looks both at her friends. "Are we ready to continue our adventure and head into Viridian City?"

Jessie's friends all smile in response with Leaf nodding as well. The group turns to face the entrance into Route 1 and they head into the Route.

While the group was walking through Route 1, the Narrator began speaking. "Pokémon… There are so many mysterious and wonderful things about these creatures that humans have yet to discover, but soon the answers will be revealed in the light, for now, all we can do is let humans and Pokémon live and work together in harmony!"

Soon after the group walks through Route 1, Jessie, Meowth, Domino, James, and Leaf see the buildings of Viridian City in the distance. They smile and stop for a little bit to look at the view of Viridian before continuing to walk towards it. However, a secret camera is watching the group and it cuts to Giovanni's secret base, watching the camera of the group, especially Jessie and Leaf, arriving at Viridian City with an evil grin on his face. The scene slowly fades to black, signaling the end of the movie.

Post-credit scene

The scene shows back to Guyana, where the Team Rocket trio is still at. Cassidy and Butch are seen running in the streets of the city, trying to find each other by yelling each other's names. "BUTCH!" "CASSIDY!"

Soon, Cassidy and Butch see each other as they both smile, calling each other's names once more, but this time, out of delight. "BUTCH!" "CASSIDY!" The partners-in-crime hug each other for a little bit, before letting go.

Cassidy immediately starts apologizing. "Butch, I'm so sorry about all the stuff I said back there towards you. You were right, this was a stupid idea to fly here in Guyana just to look for the twerps."

Butch starts apologizing back. "Cassidy, I should be the one to apologize. I also didn't mean the things I said and you were right. When we fail our missions, we fail as a team!"

Mondo appears right behind the two with a smile on her face. "Looks like the fighting is over and we can go back to stealing the twerpette's talking Meowth for the boss once and for all.

Cassidy and Butch both have an evil grin on their faces. "You're right Mondo, even with so many failed attempts, we will not give up on stealing that talking Meowth!" Cassidy declared.

"Damn right, Cass!" Butch agreed.

"Although you know what sucks… we haven't stolen anything at all during this!" Cassidy pouts.

Mondo wags her fingers in denial. "Nuh uh uh uh! There's one thing that we three stole."

Cassidy and Butch both looked at Mondo with confused expressions. "What's that, Mondo?" Butch asked.

Mondo laughs. "We stole the last few lines of this fanfic movie!"

Cassidy and Butch both smile in delight. "Hey, you're right, Mondo!" Cassidy says.

Butch laughs. "That's a plan that no one else can foil!" His smile fades after realizing something. "Although… how do we get back to Kanto?"

As the Team Rocket trio was thinking about how to get back home, they started hearing growling in front of them and they looked. It was the three Growlithe that the police ordered to chase Team Rocket when they hopped out of the landing gear from the plane. Team Rocket has terrified looks on their faces and they hug each other in fear. "Not the Growlithe again!" Mondo says.

All three Growlithe open their mouths and fire flames shaped like the kanji right at Team Rocket. It was Fire Blast, which burns the trio and sends them blasting off.

"Well… that's one way to get back to Kanto." Cassidy chuckles.

Butch nods with a smirk. "Yeah, I don't mind this blast off at all, well except the getting burned part. Ow!"

Mondo chuckles. "I'm just happy that the fighting has stopped between you two and we're back together again as a trio! Shall we say those iconic lines to us that we have been saying every blast-off?"

Cassidy and Butch both nodded in agreement. "Let's do it together!" They both said with a cheer.

"LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Ding!
