Nami woke up with a heavy head, momentarily confused by the unfamiliar surroundings around her. Her mind struggled to piece together fragments of the events that lingered faintly in her memory. A moment later, she remembered being kidnapped by Kaido and locked in a burning room. Her eyes widened in fear, and she immediately shouted, "Zoro!" as she sat up on the bed, gasping for breath.

A soft voice came from beside her. "How are you feeling, Miss Nami?" Nami, startled, quickly turned to see a woman dressed in simple clothing, holding a book with a calm expression.

"Chopper's mom…" Nami muttered fearfully, her body trembling. She quickly moved away, pressing herself into the corner of the bed with her back against the wall.

The woman chuckled softly. "You look so scared." She placed the book on her lap and spoke in a friendly tone, "I didn't mean to frighten you. I disguised myself as Chopper's mom, but my name is actually Robin. I'm not your enemy; I'm a friend of Zoro's."

Nami still looked confused and wary, but little by little, her body began to relax. Robin continued in a gentle tone, "I apologize for scaring you by pretending and watching you closely. My purpose was just to ensure you were safe. I wasn't the one who sent you that threatening photo, nor was it Brook. It was just an unfortunate coincidence that worsened the situation."

Nami took a deep breath, her fear starting to fade. But a new panic arose when she thought of someone far more important. "Zoro… where's Zoro?" she asked urgently, her tone pleading.

Robin hesitated briefly before saying, "I'm not sure Zoro is ready to see you right now, but I'll try to convince him." She then stood up, walked slowly toward the door, and said, "Wait here for a moment; I'll go get him," before leaving the room, leaving Nami alone with a mix of emotions.

A bit longer than expected, the door finally opened, revealing Zoro, his body wrapped in bandages, including around his left eye. He closed the door slowly, looking at Nami with a sorrowful expression.

Nami stared at Zoro, her eyes filling with tears. "Z-Zoro..." her voice trembled, unable to hold back her tears any longer. Seeing Zoro in such a severely injured state broke her heart. She rose from the bed and ran toward her husband.

Zoro immediately opened his arms, welcoming Nami as she collapsed into his embrace. His hug was tight, so tight as if he feared she might disappear. "Nami…" Zoro whispered, gently kissing the top of her head.

Nami sobbed in his arms, her voice hoarse. "Zoro… this isn't a dream, right? You're here… I'm here…"

Zoro closed his eyes tightly, feeling a pain deeper than just his physical wounds. "I'm here, Nami. I'm here… I won't let you be in danger again."

Nami cried harder, hugging Zoro even more tightly. "I was so scared, Zoro… I was so scared… I thought… I thought I was going to lose you..."

Zoro suddenly shuddered, his body trembling before he collapsed to his knees, kneeling before Nami. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." his voice shook, breaking as if a heavy burden weighed on his heart.

Nami was shocked and confused, seeing her husband like this. She immediately knelt before him, trying to soothe Zoro. "Zoro… Zoro, what's wrong?" she called softly, but Zoro still kept his head down, refusing to lift his face. Nami grew increasingly worried.

Gently, Nami cupped Zoro's face with both hands, bringing him close. That was when she was utterly stunned—Zoro was crying. Tears slowly rolled down Zoro's cheeks, something she had never imagined. Since knowing Zoro, she knew he was the strongest person she had ever met, someone who never showed weakness. But now, in front of her, Zoro was crying, and it shattered Nami's heart.

"Zoro…" Nami whispered, her voice soft but filled with concern. "You're crying..."

Zoro bit his lip, trying to stop the sobs he couldn't control. "I failed... I was supposed to protect you… I couldn't… I'm weak..."

"Nami… I-I actually used to be a—" Zoro's words were cut short when Nami pressed her lips gently against his. She pulled him into her arms, as if trying to absorb all the pain and suffering he felt.

"That's enough, Zoro," Nami whispered softly, her voice tender yet firm. She rested her head on Zoro's chest. "I already know everything. But I don't care."

Zoro was startled, surprised by her response. "Y-You don't care?"

Nami nodded slightly. "The Zoro I know isn't a killer," she said with conviction. "The Zoro who's been by my side is the one who always protects me, who fights for the people he loves, who loves me sincerely, even though he rarely says it. You're my husband, the one who always makes me feel safe."

Zoro looked at Nami, his heart heavy. "Nami..."

Nami held his cheek again, gently stroking it with her thumb. "I chose you not because of who you used to be, but because of who you are now. We'll get through this together."

Zoro clasped her hand that was caressing his cheek, his eyes full of regret. "I can't forgive myself, Nami. I left you in danger… even now, Kaido is still alive. He could hurt you at any time."

Nami looked at Zoro with a sad expression, then said, "Zoro, there's no need to blame yourself. You did everything to save me, and that's what matters most. Kaido may still be out there, but we can't live in constant fear. I trust you… I know you'll always protect me."

She squeezed his hand more tightly, looking at him with tear-filled eyes. "As long as we're together, I'm not afraid. I believe we can face this, and I believe in you."

Zoro lowered his head, looking at their clasped hands. "Nami, you don't know… Kaido isn't an ordinary person. He'll do anything, by any means, to reach his goal. And what he wants is me."

Nami looked at Zoro with worry, sensing something dreadful behind his words. Zoro continued, "I can't stay by your side anymore. As long as I'm near you, you'll always be in danger. Kaido won't stop until he gets me... So I'll go back to him. I'll face him, so you can be safe."

Nami fell silent, her eyes filling with tears. "Zoro… you can't just leave like this, Zoro. Are you going to leave me?" her voice trembled, but Zoro only shook his head, trying to free his hand from Nami's grasp.

"I'm doing this so you can live, Nami," Zoro whispered, full of pain.

Nami lowered her head, her voice soft as she said, "You liar."

Zoro was startled, but didn't reply. He stood up, looking at her with a regretful expression. "I don't care what you say, Nami. This is the only way to truly ensure your safety," he said, his voice firm despite the heaviness in his heart.

Hearing that, Nami could no longer hold back her emotions. With tears streaming down her face, she shouted angrily, "What's the point of living if you're not by my side? You're a liar, Zoro! You can't even keep our promise to always be together!"

Nami felt her heart breaking, and every word she spoke was an expression of her fear and desperation. Zoro remained silent, trapped between the desire to protect Nami and his deep love for her.

Zoro stood with his back to her, his body rigid with conflicting emotions. "I don't care what happens to me, Nami," he said in a low, but resolute voice. "As long as you're alive, that's enough for me. This world means nothing without you in it."

Nami's heart ached hearing Zoro's words, which filled her with even more despair. With trembling hands, she clutched Zoro's shirt and shook her head. "Then what about me, Zoro? This world means nothing without you in it either!" she said, her voice shaking.

She looked at Zoro's back with mixed emotions of sadness and anger. "You're selfish! Don't you think about how I'd live in constant uncertainty? Whether you'd survive or not? The path you've chosen is so dangerous!"

Her tears flowed heavily, as if each drop expressed the depth of her love and her unspoken fears. "I don't want to live like this! I don't want to lose you again!"

Nami turned her back, clutching the necklace Zoro had given her, which now felt like a heavy weight on her heart. Every heartbeat was filled with mixed emotions. She felt trapped in silence until Zoro finally broke it.

"You haven't forgotten my promise to always protect you, right? You're my life, Nami. For me, just having you alive is enough," Zoro's voice trembled with frustration, as if he was fighting back a flood of emotions within him.

Nami looked at Zoro with hope. "Is this really the only option? We could go abroad, to some remote country. I'd even be willing to flee to the other side of the world, as long as I can stay with you."

Zoro shook his head slowly, his voice laced with sorrow. "It's pointless, Nami. That's what I was doing before I met you. Trying to hide far away, but Kaido always finds his way back. And this time, he hurt you," he looked down, feeling the heavy burden on his heart.

Nami felt her heart sink. She couldn't imagine living without Zoro and even less imagine losing him again. Resolutely, she said, "Then take me with you to Kaido. I'm not going to sit idly by while you go through hell alone!"

Zoro was shocked by Nami's declaration. He looked at her, anger welling up within him. "You don't know what Kaido is like, Nami! He's the cruelest monster in this world," his voice was firm, though filled with deep pain. "I don't want you to live in that dark world. You are the sunshine in my life. You should be in a bright place, where you're safe."

He looked at Nami with a desperate wish for her to understand. "That way, I can keep my sanity. You're the light that strengthens me, Nami. Without you, I wouldn't survive. I won't let you be trapped in darkness with me."

With a trembling voice, Nami said, "Turns out I misjudged you, Zoro. It turns out you don't really love me."

Hearing that, Zoro growled in anger. "Don't talk nonsense, Nami!" he snapped, his voice filled with deep emotion.

But Nami didn't back down. "Then prove it to me!" she challenged.

Caught between anger and longing, Zoro suddenly lunged at Nami. He captured her lips passionately, channeling all the longing he had kept buried. Nami was momentarily shocked, but she soon returned the kiss, feeling their mingling tears. Zoro pressed his body against Nami on the bed, gazing at her with eyes full of pain.

Nami cupped Zoro's face gently, her tear-filled eyes radiating deep love. "I love you, Zoro," she whispered, her voice quivering with emotion.

Zoro couldn't hold back his yearning, burying his head against Nami's chest, inhaling the scent that always calmed him. "I love you too," he replied, his voice brimming with uncontainable emotion. In their tight embrace, their tears mingled.

Feeling the heavy burden in Zoro's heart, Nami mustered the courage to ask, "What do you want, Zoro?"

After a moment of silence, Zoro simply hugged Nami tighter, as if afraid to lose her. When Nami called his name again, Zoro slowly pulled back slightly, though his body still hovered over hers. His half-closed eyes held unspoken pain and hope.

Tenderly, Nami wiped the tears from Zoro's cheeks, feeling the depth of his emotions. Zoro clasped her small hand and, with a trembling voice, revealed his desire, "I want to be with you forever, to build a little family and grow old together."

Nami, touched by Zoro's words, began crying again, but this time with tears of happiness. They embraced once more, and as Nami stroked Zoro's head, who was crying on her shoulder, she promised, "We'll make that dream come true."

Zoro pulled Nami closer, their lips meeting in a soft kiss filled with love, enveloped in warmth and a passion that surrounded them. In each other's arms, they shared an unspoken bond, expressing all they felt with gentle touches and lingering kisses.

Unconsciously, their bare bodies moved together in a quickening rhythm, filling the room with sounds of deep satisfaction and moans, both feeling complete in each other's embrace.

Zoro's strong hand stroked Nami's hair as her breaths came in short gasps beside him. He then kissed his wife's forehead, making Nami smile softly.

"I love you, always," Zoro whispered before finally closing his eyes as well.
