-Nagato: A commoner boy from the Riverlands, lived a peaceful life with his parents as a herder. That was until his village was attacked by bandits. He was left to fend himself with other children who banded together to survive. During Robert's Rebellion, their group was attacked rebel soldiers, who thought them to be spies. After the tragic death of his close friend, he formed the modern day Akatsuki.
-Konan Rivers: Born that bastard daughter of a whore and some lord. Left alone after her mother was killed by thugs. She came across Nagato and another boy named Yahiko. For years they traveled across the Riverlands, surviving the best they could. After the formation of the Akatsuki she became Nagato's right hand.
-Itachi Stark: Born the son of Eddard Stark and Ashara Dayne. After his mother's death, he was taken to Winterfell to be raised. There he thrived, he was praised for his skills as a swordsman and as a leader. That is why no one saw what came next. One night, Itachi went out into the nearby town and slaughtered dozens of people for no reason. He disappeared after that, but word soon came that he was now a member of the Akatsuki.
-Kisame Volmark: Kisame was born into House Volmark of the Iron Islands. Right away people knew he was different, for he had light blue skin. Some say it was a blessing, others say he is a monster. He proved them alright through his ruthless ways of fighting, earning him the name Kisame the Shark. Then one day he killed his father and stole the family sword before fleeing.
-Deidara Lannister: Born as the middle child of Tywin and Joanna Lannister. Unlike his other siblings, he cared not for titles or power. All he cared about was art, and destruction. One day while he was in his chambers a purple eye figured appeared, promising him great power. Soon after he left Casterly Rock and joined the Akatsuki.
-Sasori Martell-Born the youngest of the Martell siblings, Sasori was a quiet child. Often he spent most of his time alone, obsessed with such things as poison and puppets. During the rebellion he aided his brother in battle and earned the title Sasori of the Red Sand. Then came the day when he heard of his sister's brutal murder. Rather than accept defeat, he left Sunspear and began plotting his revenge. A plot that the Akatsuki is willing to get involved in.
-Hidan Whent: Born as the youngest child of Walter and Shella Whent, said to have been born of unnatural ways. He was a strange boy, often obsessed with death. He often stated he could hear the voices of those who have perished within Harrenhall. It only got worse when he started saying that the god known as the Stranger was talking to him. Things got even worse when he slaughtered numerous people, saying the Stranger demanded it. From then on he became a devoted follower of the Stranger, killing in his name.
-Kakazu Reyne: The twin brother of Roger Reyne, The Red Lion. Together the two were one of the most formidable fighters in Westeros. That all changed when Roger believed that the Reyne's should rule the Westernlands. Their forces were obliterated, and the remaining members were forced to take refuge in the minds of Castamere. We all knew what happened next. Afterwards it was said a man could be seen near the ruins, just staring of the rubble. Some people believe it to be Kakazu, however many people disagree. Or are they right after all, is Kakazu Reyne back and deadlier than ever?
-Tobi: A strange newer addition to the Akatsuki. Nobody knows where he is from or what he is capable of. He is also the youngest of the Akatsuki, only 15 years old. However, within this boy lies a great secret.
-Zetsu: Another unknown figure of the Akatsuki. He specializes in scouting and spying. Zetsu only appears during meetings and then leaves without a trace. The only relation he has with the other members is Tobi.
Former Members
-Yahiko: A orphaned boy who grouped up with Nagito and Konan. They formed the Akatsuki group as a mean of survival. However, during Robert's Rebellion Yahiko gave his life to save Nagato. Since then, Nagato has not been the same.
-Juzo Harlaw: Born a member of House Harlaw, he built a name for himself as a great killer. He was even able to wield the legendary Executioner blade. He betrayed his family and people to become a member of the Akatsuki. He met his end after a failed assassination attempt on Balon Greyjoy.
-Dougas Varner: A renowned knight of the Reach who became a turncloak for joining the Akatsuki. He was paired up with Kakazu but was later killed by him.
-Orochimaru: A strange man from the land of Yi Ti. He joined the Akatsuki for one purpose, studying them. He was paired with Itachi, who later discovered his plot. When Itachi confronted him, he was already gone.
Equipment
-Cloaks: Each member wears something different, but they all wear the same cloaks. They have black cloaks with red clouds on them.
-Headbands: Each member wears a headband with the sigil of their house on it, crossed out.
Powers
-Each member is a skilled fighter with both weapons and hand to hand. More famously there are rumors that each member possesses magic. Said magic has granted the user great powers and abilities.
