Chapter Three: A Night with the Lion Guard

The Lion Guard, along with Mtoto, the Rhino, and the Hare, walked across the savannah under the soft glow of the moon. Bongo and Asha, still shaken by the ghost story, rode on Fuli's back for comfort, while Bobo walked ahead confidently, the grass rustling under his feet.

Mtoto: "Do you think the ghost is real?" He asked nervously, his large ears twitching.

Kion: "A ghost haunting the Pride Lands? Does that sound real to you, guys?" He shook his head.

Ono: "No way." He replied with certainty.

Beshte: "Not a chance." He added, shaking his head.

Fuli: "Just a story." She said, her voice calm and soothing.

Bunga, however, was more intrigued.

Bunga: "If it was real, I wonder what it would look like." He said, his eyes filled with curiosity.

Bongo: "I don't even want to know what he looks like." He muttered, clinging tighter to Fuli's fur.

Asha: *baby voice* "Me neither." She said, her small hands gripping Fuli's back.

Bunga: "This ghost sounds way cooler than the Zimwi." He smiled, always excited by anything thrilling.

Asha: *baby voice* "What's the Zimwi?" She tilted her head, curious despite her fear.

Bongo: *gulps* "Is that something scary?" He gulped, still unsettled.

Bunga: "Oh yeah, it was so scary—–" He grinned mischievously.

Kion: "Um, Bunga, I don't think we need to remind ourselves about the Zimwi." He interrupted quickly.

Fuli: "And you definitely don't want to make Bongo and Asha any more scared than they already are." She shot Bunga a warning glance.

Bunga: "I guess so." He raised his hands in surrender.

Bobo: "Ugh. You guys are such babies." He rolled his eyes, walking ahead of them.

Fuli: "Bobo, don't make fun of Asha and Bongo." She narrowed her eyes at him.

Bobo: "I mean, they're younger than me, and they still believe in ghosts." He crossed his arms with a sigh.

Kion: "Well, for all we know, ghosts aren't real." He reassured, trying to put the younger ones at ease.

But as if on cue, a sudden gust of wind swept through the savannah, causing the grass to ripple and the trees to rustle ominously.

*WIND BLOWING*

Rhino and Hare: *gasps* They gasped, their eyes wide with fear.

Mtoto: "What was that?" His trunk swung nervously.

Bongo: "Was it…" His eyes darted around.

Asha: *baby voice* "The ghost!" Her small voice trembled.

Kion: "Relax, it was just the wind." He shook his head firmly.

Before anyone could say anything else, Bongo's stomach let out a loud rumble, breaking the tension.

Mtoto: "What was that?" His eyes widened.

Bongo: "Sorry, my stomach makes noise whenever I'm scared." He lowered his head in embarrassment.

Bobo: "Oh wow, now you're all afraid of some wind and Bongo's stomach growling." He smirked, unimpressed.

Bongo: "I don't think I'm able to sleep tonight." He murmured, glancing around nervously.

Asha: *baby voice* "I'm not sleeping either." She added, her fear still evident.

Bobo sighed heavily, seeing how worried his younger siblings were. He knew they weren't going to stop clinging to him unless he did something to help.

Bobo: "Ugh, okay. If it'll make you feel better, I'll ask Mom and Dad if we can spend the night with the Lion Guard." His tone softened, though still laced with frustration.

Bongo and Asha's faces lit up instantly.

Asha: *baby voice* "YAY!" She squealed, bouncing on Fuli's back.

Bongo: "Thanks, Bobo." He said with a smile of relief.

Bobo: "Yeah, yeah." He replied, trying to act casual about it, though he couldn't help but smile a little at their excitement.

Kion: "That sounds like a great idea." He smiled.

Bunga: "Alright! We can all spend the night at Hakuna Matata Falls. I'm sure my uncles wouldn't mind." He pumped his fist in the air.

Fuli: "I'm in." She agreed with a grin.

Ono: "Fine by me." He chimed in.

Beshte: "Let's do it." He added cheerfully.

With the plan settled, Bobo turned and headed off to tell their parents about the change of plans, while the rest of the group—Bongo and Asha still riding on Fuli—made their way toward Hakuna Matata Falls. Mtoto, the Rhino, and the Hare, though still a little nervous, agreed to stick together for the night.
