"Baby...Babe...Alice." Alice's eyes slowly opened, meeting the eyes of her Kwami, who was watching her with a little smile. "Have a nice dream?" Fein asks as Alice sighs, rolling onto her back and staring up at the ceiling. It's been three days since, Thursday, the day they defeated Stoneheart and she decided she wasn't going to give into Adrien. Friday was a little awkward for her, Adrien being highly confused with her sudden strange behavior. She didn't mean to be weird, she had honestly been acting the same way, until she saw Marinette stalking him. Suddenly, she was everywhere, watching him do everything and it really bothered her. So, she had been a little more quiet, trying to figure out what Marinette was doing.
Now, it was Sunday and she was currently staring up at the ceiling with a confused mind and heart. "Ever since I met you, I've been having weird dreams." Fein's eyes widened as she slowly floats down to land on Alice's chest. "What about?" Fein asks slowly, her little heart pounding in her chest. Was she accidentally touching her in the middle of the night and showing her things? Alice sighs again, "I can't seem to remember them, but I know they have something to do with my future." She sits up, Fein floating up to catch herself. "I'm so.." Fein was interrupted by the sound of Alice's phone pinging with a text message. She frowns slightly, reaching over to grab her phone. It was Adrien. "I forgot I gave him my number." She utters out, opening her phone and reading the text.
She stares at it for a moment, "What does it say?" Fein asks; "He wants to hang out today in the park." Alice answers, before sending back a quick text and standing up. "What did you say?" Fein asks, watching her throw her phone on the bed and move to start up the shower. "I said yes, I don't know why and it doesn't mean anything!" She gives Fein a pointed look as she points towards the Kwami who tried to hold in her squeal. "I just... still don't know my way around, and he's my friend." She shuts the door, Fein stares at it in silence before she lets out a squeal and floats in the air. "My ship is sailing!"
"No, we aren't!"
.ılılıll̲̲̲̅̅̅̅̅̅=̲̲̲̅̅̅̅̅̅llılılı.
Adrien smiles at the text message he received from Alice, quickly sending her a pin point location to help her out. "Aw, texting your girlfriend?" Plagg teases as he floats near Adrien's head, who pulls back at the smell of his cheese. "Gross, Plagg. Do you have to eat that next to my face? Someone might smell me." Adrien complains as he moves to finish getting ready. He had a photo shoot in the park today, something his over bearing father scheduled for him. Even though he was almost eighteen, it had been very hard to get away from his father. A mix of guilt for leaving him behind after the loss of his mother and maybe some brain washing. He wasn't stupid, he knew that his father had kept him in doors most of his life to keep him under control, but he was eighteen now. He had a superhero life, and maybe a girl to look forward to in the future.
He was ready to let go.
"She's not my girlfriend." Adrien utters out, a small frown falling onto his lips. He really wanted her to be, but he knew it was too soon. They needed to get to know each other better, he wanted her to let that wall fall. So, he would take his time, then ask her out when they get closer. She was the one, he just knew it; a lot like his mother knew his father was the one. He could remember going to sleep on the stories of how his father would push his mother away, and how she was so determined to get him to like her. He used to laugh at his mothers over telling of their stories, but the memories now just made him sadden. His father hasn't spoken of his mother much since she passed, and it's put a wedge between the pair.
"Sure, whatever you say. Maybe, Phoenix will give you the time of day." Plagg speaks up, darting into Adrien's jacket as a knock lands on the door. "Adrien, it's time." Natalie speaks through the door, his father's assistant and caretaker. "Ok, thanks. I'll be out in a second." He moves around his room, grabbing his bag and taking in the sight of boxes along the wall. It's been a slow process, but Adrien was planning on moving out. His father never came into his room, neither did Natalie since he was a teenager and it would be very weird. Either way, he has a hidden pouch of money within a book; it's taken him forever to save up and it was a decent amount too. Although, it didn't matter; legally he could inherit what he could since he would be of age in a few days, but he was gonna try to wait until he turns twenty one. It doesn't help that his every move is being watched, but he's managed to make do. "Phoenix and Alice both are going to fall for me, I just know it." Plagg rolls his eyes at Adrien's words, this boy was way too hopeful.
Although, with what his birdy told him, the boy wasn't wrong.

Alice lets out a breath, the breeze running through her hair as she steps through the gates of the park. Her eyes scan over the area, finally landing on Adrien, who was currently modeling for a photographer. A small laugh escapes her lips at the look on his face, he looked so annoyed. "Poor thing." She coos out, Fein peaking out from over her shoulder with curious eyes. "He looks so bored." Fein says, falling back just as Adrien's eyes land on Alice. He perks up, almost immediately which causes her to blush. She wasn't stupid, she knew he was trying to get her attention, but she wasn't going to fall for it. He waves at her, turning to the photographer and saying something. The man groans in annoyance, but begrudgingly agrees, allowing Adrien to run over. "Hey, Ally." He says, she raises a brow, "Ally?"
His hand goes to the back of his neck, "Yeah, Ally. If that's okay?" She ponders for a moment, friends give friends nicknames; there wasn't anything to it. "Fine, but I get to call you anything I want." She points up at him, just now taking in the fact that he was taller than her. He smiles, "That's fine with me, look I'm almost done. Afterwards, I can show you around, if you don't mind waiting?" He asks, watching her with a gentle look. She gives him a small smile, "Yeah, I'll be on the bench, good thing I brought my bag; I can finish reading the novel I'm currently working on." He laughs, walking her over to the bench. "Is it any good?" He asks, watching her sit down and pull the book out of her bag. She nods, pushing a piece of brown hair behind her ear.
He sighed at the sight, she was so beautiful.
"Yeah, actually and they just came out with the sequel! I can't wait!" He watches her with a smile, he likes how passionate she is about her books. Maybe he could gift her some, "Adrien! Please, I need you." He groans slightly, turning back to his photographer. "I'm coming!" He turns back to Alice who is staring up at him with a raised eyebrow. "Go, blondie. I'll be fine, just don't forget about me." He nods, turning to run back to his photo shoot; suddenly very excited about the rest of his day. His father hadn't planned anything else today, so he didn't have to go home any time soon.
Alice makes herself comfortable on the bench, opening up her book to wait for the male.
Twenty five minutes later, she finally looks up; letting out a small groan as her stiff body moves. She stretches, looking towards Adrien who was taking another break; and making his way over to her once more. "Sorry, just a few more, then we'll go." He looks super guilty, which causes her to give him a smile as she stands up. "It's no problem." She says, her eyes catching Marinette over Adrien's shoulder. Seriously? Marinette's eyes meet hers and she starts glaring. "You okay?" Adrien asks, looking behind him. He frowns slightly at the sight of Marinette who blushes and starts waving, Adrien waves back awkwardly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Go, finish your shoot so we can go eat."
"Okay!"
Alice watches Marinette get pulled off by a young girl, just as the photographer pauses. "We need something more! That girl, the one you were talking to earlier, bring her over. We need romance!" Alice couldn't believe that Alya was encouraging this behavior. Adrien smiles excitedly as he makes his way over to Alice, who was still watching Marinette and Alya. "Hey, he wants you to come over too." Alice turns to face Adrien with wide eyes. "What?" She gapped, Adrien just smiles and pulls her towards the man. "Good, good! We need a couple! Romance!" He starts positioning them, much to the dismay of Marinette.
"Good, hold her." Alice raises a brow as Adrien's arm wraps around her waist. A blush coating her cheeks as he looks down at her, she slowly looks up at him and the photographer damn near faints. "Adrien." Alice mutters out, as he turns them to face each other. "Yeah?" His voice is low as his eyes darken, he really wanted to kiss her. "You're too close." She gently pushes him back, his hands slipping from her waist. "Right, sorry." He looks saddened. The photographer suddenly groans, causing them to look in his direction. "I need another roll of film, stay there!" He takes off.
The sound of screaming causes them to turn in that direction. It was another supervillain, a woman in purple clothes and an umbrella in her hands. They watch as she thrusts the umbrella in the direction of the merry-go-round, covering it in ice. The winds picks up, causing Adrien to shield Alice, "We need to find a place to hide!" He shouts, grabbing her hand to pull her away. Alice manages to grab her bag on the way past it, "Adrien, where?" She's cut off when he comes to a stop, spinning her around and hiding her within the shadows of a tree.
"You're not going to tell me to stay like a dog again, are you?"
"I'm sorry."
"Adrien?!"
A scoff escapes her lips as he takes off again leaving her alone. "He is such a jerk!" She shouts in annoyance and disbelief, before she groans. "But, it keeps me from having to do it myself." She utters out as Fein comes out of hiding. "There's a chill in the air." Alice raises a brow towards Fein, who blushes under her gaze. "Sorry, it's the Plagg in me, he brings out the sarcasm." Alice cocks her head for a moment at her Kwami's words. When did she see Plagg? Was he here too? Another scream brings her out of her thoughts, no time!
"Alright, Fein Wings Rise!"
Phoenix makes her way out of her hiding place to stand in front of the newest villainess. "Purple only looks good in the background, not at center stage." She snarks, the villainess glares, before throwing a wave of wind in her direction. She lets out a shout as she flies back, right into the arms of her Kitty. "Hello, Belle. Need a hand?" He smirks down at her, she looks up at him with a laugh. "I'd appreciate that, Kitty." He gently sets her down, both heroes not noticing the villainess leave. "Did you really mean that about purple?" He asks, cocking his head to the side. She pauses, "Really, right now?" He shrugs, "I'm just curious. Want to learn more about you, Mon oiseau de feu." She sighs, "If you must know, no. I actually love the color purple, now we have a villainess to defeat." She takes off, leaving him behind; staring at her with a small smirk.
Cat manages to catch up with the purple female first, landing on the fence. "Hey, Ice Queen." She turns in his direction to give him a nasty glare. "What's with all the terrorizing? Why don't you pick on someone your own temperature?" Phoenix finally lands on the ground in front of her, beside Cat. "Seriously, puns?" She gives him a look and he just shrugs. "My name is not Ice Queen, it's Stormy Weather!" Phoenix laughs, "Matches your attitude, I see." Stormy glares in annoyance towards the orange hero. Cat watches Phoenix with a look of love, sliding down the fence and spinning his tail. "Listen, I'm feline more generous than usual, today."
Phoenix raises a brow, an amusements expression on her face as he continues on. "So cool down, and we'll call it quits, 'Kay?" A shudder runs down her spine at the look he had on his face. He could really be hot when he wanted, it was probably the cat suit too. Phoenix turns red in her own horror, no! She couldn't! Could she? Was that really a thing for her?
Stormy didn't seem pleased at all with his words as a deadpanned look crosses over her face. She points her umbrella and a wave of wind causing the two heroes to go flying away. They shout together, Phoenix's wings coming out to catch her just before they land, making sure to grab Cat as well. She releases him, just a little too soon, causing him to almost trip and fall. "Sorry, Kitty." She utters out, landing next to him. He turns to her with a smile, "It's no problem, sugar. I know you'll always catch me." He grabs her hand and gives the back of it a kiss, just as Ladybug lands behind them.
"Cat! Are you okay?!" She rushes over to pull him away from Phoenix, he pulls himself away from her awkwardly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks, watermelon." He grumbles out, slightly moving closer to Phoenix. Ladybug blushes at the nickname, although Phoenix knew it wasn't meant to be a good one. He was being a little shit, and she thought it was cute. "No time for your childish charm, Cat Noir." Ladybug flirts, giving him a look, Cat shivers slightly at the uncomfortable feeling he was getting from her. Phoenix, who was watching the duo, turns to Stormy as she lands in front of them. "Guys, no time to flirt." Cat's eyes widen at her words, he wasn't flirting with Ladybug!
"Phoenix..."
"We should be expecting lighting storms, like, right now!" Stormy smirks at the trio as she points her umbrella upwards. The heroes eyes widen in horror as the sky darkens with clouds and lighting heads straight for Phoenix. She lets out a shout, "Phoenix!" Cat yells, jumping towards her and throwing them both out of the way. They groan as they hit the ground, rolling a few times, before Phoenix lands on Cat as they come to a stop. She gasps in shock, as he smirks up at her, "Mon Belle, shouldn't we wait a little longer?" He asks, giving her a heated look. She doesn't break character as she leans down to whisper in his ear, "Careful, Kitty. You wouldn't be able to handle me." She nips at his ear causing a shudder to run through his body and a tighten of his suit. She smirks, pulling back, using her wings to fly back off him.
Cat stays on the ground for a few moments as Phoenix turns towards Ladybug who had landed on a car. "You okay, bug?" She calls, getting a thumps up in the process. "Uh, sweetheart..." Phoenix looks back to Cat who had finally managed to collect himself. He had a worried look on his face, moving in to touch her forehead. A wince escapes her lips, "You're bleeding." He whispers, a look of pain and anger crosses over his face. "She made you bleed." He hisses, his eyes darkening as they turn even more catlike. Phoenix's eyes widened at the sight, "Kitty, I'm fine. I'll heal, let's worry about it later." She insists, giving him a smile as she grabs his hand; which calms him down.
A laugh breaks them out of their moment, Ladybug grunts slightly as she meets up with them. Stormy Weather is floating over them with a dark smirk. "I've always hated birds." She hisses towards Phoenix, who scoffs. "Why am I being targeted?" Cat growls, standing in front of Phoenix with a dark look. "You've just won yourself a cat fight." He rushes forward, leaving Phoenix and Ladybug behind. "Black Ice!"
"Ah!"
"Kitty!"
"Not so fast, birdy!"
"Ah!"
The trio go flying back, Cat colliding with Phoenix who had come in to rescue him only for Stormy to use her wind in retaliation. Ladybug manages to use her yo yo to catch herself on a lamppost, grabbing Kitty by the tail who grabs Phoenix's hand. They continue to fly, until Stormy releases them, which immediately lands them on their asses. Well, more like, Ladybug on her face, Cat on his back with his legs over his head and Phoenix landing on her right side and right arm. They all hiss and groan in pain, a pile of cars behind them. Slowly, they get up, "Everyone okay?" Bug asks, the duo nodding in response, although Phoenix's arm really hurt.
She blinks at the blood that had leaked down, quickly wiping it away. The trio move onwards, meeting back up with Stormy Weather who was making her way in their direction. "A little Cat Noir will take the wind out of her sails." Phoenix chuckles slightly at his words, he stretches about to go for her, but Phoenix grabs him by the back of his collar. "Woah, easy there, Kitty." She smirks at him, Ladybug shakes her head at him. "You better think before you leap." Bug snips slightly, while her words were a little condescending, her look was still flirtatious. "You got a plan, Belle?" He asks Phoenix, but Bug takes the rains. "Just follow my lead." The duo watch Bug take off, running along the sides of the building. Cat nods to Phoenix, before taking the right side while she flys right down the middle.
In sync, the trio launch at Stormy Weather, but she sees it coming. "Nice try, heroes." She spins, throwing her umbrella out and sending a wind so strong towards the heroes, flying them about three blocks away. They just barely manage to land out their feet, only to have to dodge the flying cars that followed shortly behind them. "Shit!" Phoenix cursed as a bus comes into view. Cat and Bug landing next to her, look up in shock as well. Bug grabs Cat and shields him, leaving Phoenix to do all the work, "Flames Rise!" She shouts, her eyes glowing red as a circle of fire comes out of her hands.
The bus lands on them, but is burned away by Phoenix's powers, leaving a circle of melted bus around them. She turns to face Bug and Cat, her heart clenching at the sight of them holding one another, much to her own displeasure. "I have five minutes, before I have to go; so we need to make this quick." Her words are cold as she jumps up through the hole, leaving Cat and Bug alone. Cat Noir's head snaps up, his eyes widened in surprise and horror at who he was wrapped in. He honestly thought it was Phoenix he had been pulled into, but as he yanks himself out of Bug's arms, he just misses the look on her face.
He had hurt his firebird, "Are you okay, Kitty?" He flinches back when Ladybug reaches for him, a frown on his face. "Don't call me that." He utters out lowly, his body moving to follow after Phoenix, using his baton to exit the hole in the bus.
When he steps out, Phoenix is already gone.
Phoenix spots Stormy Weather heading towards the news station, and quickly follows after her. "Belle!" She's slightly surprised to see that Cat had caught up with her, and Ladybug wasn't far behind. "She's going into the news tower." Phoenix points towards it, "Can we talk a second?" She scoffs lowly under her breath, "I'm about to change back, Cat Noir. I don't have time." He flinches slightly, watching as she takes off again, Ladybug catching up just as she leaves. She doesn't seem to take notice, "Maybe, she has some unresolved anger issues." Ladybug jokes, expecting Cat Noir to join in, but he doesn't.
"Hello, Viewers." Phoenix watches on every screen she passes as Stormy Weather smirks into them. "Here's the latest forecast for the first day of September. Looks like Mother Nature had a change of plans, vacation is officially over." Phoenix lands in the roof closest to the news tower, Cat landing next to her as Bug joins them. "I know it's September, but I look so good in a swimsuit." He turns to Phoenix with a smirk, only to get an eye roll in response, causing him to deflate. "The cat suit will do, thanks." She utters out, Bug gives him a smile as she leans down in front of his face. "I think I'll have to see that to believe it." He winces uncomfortably at her words as Phoenix groans again, her ear rings beeping. "I've got three minutes, we need a plan. Now."
Phoenix was angry, she was angry with Cat, she was angry with Bug, and she was angry with herself for being angry.
She barely knew him, just like she barely knew Adrien. She had no right to act like a jealous girlfriend. They weren't hers, nor did it matter what they did or who they were with, she really needed to smack herself. "Come on, we know where to find her." Phoenix takes off, the closer to the building the harder it became for her to fly. "Son of a bitch." She hisses, her wings failing as she lands on the roof across from where they needed to be. "Here, I've got you." She turns to face Cat, who is holding out his hand with a gentle smile on his lips. He was her partner, he would always have her back. "Prepare for the worst weather in history. Who needs sunshine..." The trio make it into the building.
They make their way past a cardboard cutout of a girl, which stops Cat short. "Hey, that's her! Stormy Weather!" Bug and Phoenix nod in agreement, "The Akuma must be in her parasol." Phoenix states, her powers beeping again. "I don't have time!" She practically shouts in anger, Cat and Bug pause, staring at her. "Sorry, I've gotta go recharge. Go on, I'll catch up." Cat looks like he wants to argue, but Bug pulls him along.
Phoenix runs to a bathroom, quickly checking the stalls, clearing it just as she de transforms. "Sorry, Fein." She pulls out a spicy candy, "It's not a lot, but it's..." Fein takes the candy, "It's okay, it'll do. Thank you." Alice sighs, turning to face the mirror, giving a wince at the sight of the giant bruise forming around the cut. "I really hope this will disappear." She mutters, turning on the water, gently rinsing it. "Don't worry, when Ladybug fixes everything, it'll heal. I'm ready." Alice smiles at Fein, spinning to face her. "Then, I guess we better get going. Fein Wings Rise!"

Cat Noir and Ladybug finally make their way to the top, quickly finding the doors locked. "We have to ram it." Ladybug says, Cat nods, not before glancing back to see if Phoenix had made her way up yet. "She'll be here in a minute, Kitty. We all have our jobs to do and she knows that, no matter how she feels about us." Cat frowns in confusion, "Us?" Ladybug nods with a smile, "Yeah, my Kwami told me that every time the Ladybug and Cat miraculous are chosen, that they end up together. Phoenix knows that." Ladybug says with a knowing look and smile as Cat's shoulder's deflated again.
No.
He didn't believe that, maybe in the past, but not now. Not this time.
"Let's just get this over with." The two heroes let out a yell as they charged through the door and was met with nothing. "It's a recording."

Phoenix makes it to the top just as Stormy Weather shoots a beam at the lights, causing them to drop on her two partners. Luckily, they jump out of the way, unluckily the whole building goes dark. Well, unlucky for Ladybug, Phoenix makes her way inside the room. Her eyes quickly scanning the area to make sure it was clear, before she turns towards her two partners. "You two, okay?" Ladybug trips just as Phoenix asks her question. Cat nods in her direction, finding himself a little surprised that she could see. "Frosty the snow girls getting away." He watches Phoenix haul Ladybug up, "Come on, buggy. We've got a weather girl to chase." The two seeing heroes lead the blind up the stairs and out onto the roof. Ladybug complaining the whole way there, having tripped over her feet multiple times.
They run outside, right into the cold weather and a floating frost queen in the air. "You airheads, you fell right into my trap." Using the weather, she creates a cyclone around them. "I won't be of much use in this condition!" Phoenix shouts to her partners as she tries to keep herself from flying back, her wings making it that much harder.
Cat grabs her hand, giving her a look of determination. "I've got you. I promise."
"There's no way out. Party's over, fools." Stormy Weather laughs confidently as she glares down at the heroes. "We're just getting started, Stormy." Ladybug shouts up to her, "Lucky Charm!" A bath towel falls into her hands, Cat giving her a look of pure disappointment. "Great. So we're about to be obliterated, but at least we'll be dry." He snips out sarcastically, Phoenix chuckles slightly. Now, she understands what Fein meant about the sarcasm. "Just hold your wings and whiskers." She wraps the towel around her arm, "Hail." Stormy shouts, raising her parasol towards the sky. Cat gaps in horror, quickly pulling out his baton to use it as a shield. By spinning it extremely fast, he's able to keep them from being dented by the hailstorm. "So, what's the plan for getting the Akuma back?" He asks, Phoenix pulls off her own twin batons, her eyes flashing orange as she 'melds' them together to get ready for a switch up.
"My arm is starting to get a cramp."
"Switch me, Cat!"
Phoenix and Cat switch positions as Ladybug looks for a way out of this. "See that sign over there?" She points towards a huge sign behind Stormy. "Take it out." She says to Cat, who nods. "Cataclysm!" His hand is instantly filled with the dark energy of destruction. "Hey, Coldie Locks, is that all you've got?" Phoenix shouts, gaining her attention and stopping the hail shower. As Phoenix runs at her, jumping up and bouncing out of the way; distracting her just enough for Kitty to run his hand along the side of the sign. "Catch me if you can, Windy!" She shouts up at the purple haired female, she knew she couldn't fly, which was why she was running around on the ground, but she really wanted to get up there and personally kick her ass.
The sign falls towards Stormy, causing her to gasp in horror; Ladybug takes this chance to wrap her yo yo around one of her ankles. Stormy yelps, shooting at the sign in shock, her own sign at that. She manages to get free and fly through the hole, causing it to fall and land on an air vent. The air vent breaks open revealing a fan which gives Ladybug the perfect opportunity to run for it and jump, using the towel to fly up in the air.
As she goes higher, the yo yo that is still wrapped around Stormy's ankle is pulling her in the opposite direction. Down. Screaming, Stormy falls losing her parasol in the process, one which Cat catches and throws to Phoenix who breaks it just as Ladybug lands back on the ground.
"No more evil doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" At least she's got that part down, Phoenix thinks to herself as she watches Ladybug catch the butterfly, purify it and then release it. "Bye bye, little butterfly." She says, Cat makes his way over to Phoenix who is watching off to the side. Her wings stretch out behind her, finally she could fly again now that the wind had settled. "Miraculous, Ladybug!" She throws the towel up and everything around them lights up with white light and fixes itself. The cars that had been crashed in the distance, the bus that Phoenix had blown a hole through, the sign of the roof and even the bleeding cut on Phoenix's head healed.
Although, it didn't take away her headache.
Guess, it was magic.
"Time to go." Phoenix calls, as Ladybug makes her way over to the duo. Holding her fist out with a small smile, "Pound it?" She asks, hoping to at least share on other thing as a team. "Pound it." Phoenix mutters, a small smile on her lips as Cat excitedly does the same thing. Immediately after, Phoenix takes off, flying into the sky, leaving Cat slightly hurt by her cold shoulder. He really wished she would've given him a chance to talk to her.

Back at the park, Alice is sitting on the pond waiting for Adrien to come back. Her eyes are gazing into the water as her hand runs through it. "Alice!" She looks up to see him running towards her with wide eyes. Without warning, he pulls her into a hug the moment she stands up. "I'm so glad you're okay. Sorry, I'm a little late, the photographer said he had gotten what he needed and that he had another appointment to meet. So, it's just us two, I can show you around if you're still up for it?" Alice nods, shoving her book in her back and walking beside the blonde male as he leads her out of the park. Neither of them noticing Marinette running into the park to see if he was still there.
"Marinette!" Marinette groans slightly at the call of the little girl she was supposed to be watching. Here we go.
Two hours later, Adrien and Alice are laughing at a story he had told her. Adrien had shown her all of his favorite places, many of them he had only known about through his model gig. Now, he was walking her home while telling her funny stories. "So, um... I know it's a tough subject, but how are you doing...on your own, I mean." Alice sobers up at her question, going quiet for a moment. He immediately wants to smack himself in the face, "I'm sorry! That was to much wasn't it, I just wanted to know what it was like to live on your own, because I've been thinking about it for a while and...what?" The duo pause as she stops to stare at him, her head cocking to the side. "I won't lie to you and say it's not lonely, it's probably the loneliness I've ever been, but after a while you get used to it. My parents loved me, I know that and I loved them, when they died; I got everything. The money, house, the car and I sold it all; all of it except my home here."
Adrien watches her with a side look, they continue forward. The sun was starting to set in the background as she continues, "I came here for a fresh start, if I stayed, I would've just wallowed in my own self pity. I needed this." Adrien smiles, the duo finally coming to a stop outside of her home. "Well, I'm glad you came to Paris, you're the first real friend I've made. Other than Nino, no one really treats me like a human being, not even my own father, so thank you." Alice blushes slightly under his gaze, but gives him a smile in return.
Don't do it...
"Adrien?"
Don't.
"Yeah?"
You're doing it! Something stupid!
"Would you like to come in for dinner?" The words slipped out of her mouth, much to her mind's dismay as he blinks. He's silent for a moment, before a wide excited expression makes its way onto his face. "I would love too." He breaths out, Alice smiles again, turning to unlock the door and let him inside.
You idiot! What happened to not getting close?!
"I don't know!" She hissed in annoyance at her inner voice, "What?" Adrien asks, having made his way over to her impressively filled wall of books. "Nothing." She replies, throwing her bag down on the table and making her way into the kitchen, "Anything specific you want?" She asks him, waiting for him to reply, but when he doesn't she looks over to see him silently reading on of her favorite book series. "You can borrow it." She tells him, his eyes widen as he finally pulls himself away. "What?" Alice laughs, "I said, you can borrow that if you want. It's a series, three books in total and I asked if you wanted anything specific to eat." She reiterates again, he shakes his head, turning back down to the book.
"No, anything is fine. I've never seen a more interesting book, and I've only read the first page, but I'm already so interested." He tells her, bringing himself and the book over to sit at the table as she gets started on dinner. "Wait until you read the second one, I couldn't put it down and they're making it into a movie soon." She tells him excitedly, the two immediately start conversing on how they would both be going to see it.
Not together.
I mean, maybe.
Plagg and Fein watch from upstairs as their holders both bond of the books they read, Adrien opening up about his shut in childhood and Alice about her own life. The tv had ended up being turned on at some point as she finished up dinner, the two eating in silence and watching tv together. "So, apparently Tikki has been telling her holder that her and my boy Adrien are meant to be, any truth behind that statement?" Plagg asks Fein as they slowly make their way upstairs. Fein sighs, setting down on her bed, "You know I..." Plagg interrupts, "Oh don't give me that, birdy! We don't keep secrets from each other, remember." Fein sighs, "Okay, fine. This time around will be different as long as Alice and Adrien continue down this path, but we both know that fate can change, kitten." Plagg nods solemnly at his soulmates words.
"That is true."
"Hey, doesn't it sound a little quiet to you?" Fein asks, her eyes widening as she takes off down stairs, Plagg follows close behind, but both coming to a stop at the sight. The tv had been muted, most likely by Adrien who had the remote on his side; their bowls were places in the coffee table, the book out on Alice's lap as she sleeps. Her body is covered with a blanket, and her head is in Adrien's lap. They both watch as Adrien grabs the book from her hands, marking the page and setting it on the table, before looking back down at her. His fingers gently run through her hair for a few moments, before he too, passes out from exhaustion.
"I'll think they'll do just fine." Plagg says, pulling Fein into his side as they watched them, like parents watching over their children.
Fein really hoped so, because she knew the other outcomes of this fate.
She just hoped this was the good one.

Another chapter is out!!
I'm actually quite proud of myself with these becuase I am mostly writing these on my own. So, yes while it is based off the show, as you can tell this is more of a AU sort of story since I'll be changing a lot of things.
Please, tell me what y'all think and thank you so much for the love and support!!
