A Japanese Weresheep in Mutsuba Town

Summary:
There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 133: Fall on the Sword
Kawai cut into his cucumber cake with his fork, tentatively bringing an artificially green dollop to his lips, before a certain lightning bolt of hair rustled the bush behind where he was seated.
Him again? He was just going to keep following him, wasn't he?
There was nothing more to do but call him out on his behaviour.
"If you have something to say, say it."
Yuhi popped up, leaves and twigs in his hair and on his orange uniform. "How long have ya known I've been here?"
"Since before you were there." The kappa officially started on the cake. "Now then…State your business so I can be on with my day. I'm so parched!"
SLAM!
The boy from UTS had put down a glass of water on Kawai's table.
"This is?"
"I need a favour."
"And you think rudely helping yourself to the wait staff's obligations will do you any favours?"
"You were drier than a dish towel in the desert, weren't ya?"
"You're right. This will hydrate me." Kawai took the glass in his webbed hand, drinking half of it and pouring the remainder onto his head.
Customers at other tables didn't know what to make of the drenched…customer.
"Ahaha. Don't mind this guy. He's got a huge sweat problem!" Yuhi fibbed.
"Here's what I'll do. Tell me what you're up to, and after I finish up here, I'll give this favour some thought."
"Your lab. It has medical equipment."
"You wish to volunteer to be a lab rat?"
Turns out threatening Yuhi with the cage if he lost their Rush Duel was unnecessary.
"I can't be around Chupataro all the time. Can you take out some of my blood to –?"
"An illicit blood drive, Ohdo Yuhi?"
"Is it any more illegal than what you were doin' with my Earthdama? Either way, if MIK found out, they'd drag us away like they did Chupataro!"
"MIK did find out. And I was questioned thoroughly for it."
"Manabu's a jerk that way."
Kawai couldn't dispute the facts.
…
"Kawai said you have to keep the temperature between 2 to 6 degrees."
"Chupa's got this, chupa! These aren't the first blood bags Chupa's placed in storage, cabra!" Chupataro removed the blood bags from Yuhi's box with the cooling packs, and hung them in the outdoor refrigerator.
"Hold up! Who else's blood do you have in there?"
"You don't want to know, chupa."
"Now I kinda do! Ya didn't kill somebody, didja?"
Another of Chupataro's lies? Yuhi was unsure.
"Please. Who do you take Chupa for, chupa?"
"Not who! What! You're a chupacabra! Suckin' blood is your –!"
Chupataro squished Yuhi's cheeks between his robot's hands.
"Chupataro?"
"Still tastes better fresh, chupa."
"NOOOOOOO~O!"

"Chupa'll bring this out, chupa! Ewekai Air Aries!" (Level 3 WIND Beast/Normal ATK 1300 DEF 200)
Yuhi didn't have any face-downs.
"From Chupa's hand…Chupa activates a Magic Card, chupa! Hand Life-or-Death! We send all cards in our hands to the Graveyard, and one monster on Chupa's field gains ATK equal to the number of sent cards x 300 until the end of this turn, chupa!"

"Meeeg-chan's handshake of punishment, chupa! MAGICAL PASTURE ROLL!"
"900!" (Yuhi LP 4000 ↓ 3100)
"With no Jointech Rex to protect you, Chupa attacks directly with Air Aries, cabra!"
"1300!" (Yuhi LP 3100 ↓ 1800)
"Turn end, chupa!"
Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan (ATK 3400 ↓ ATK 2500)
It was even goofier sans Solid Vision. Yuhi was covering his face and pretending to get hit.
"My turn! Draw! I summon Corktrooper and Jointech Ace! Release! Join and explode! Join and be excited! If we join together our blazing hearts, we can call forth the strongest robot! Jointech Hero! Advance Summon!" (Level 7 EARTH Machine/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 1500)
"A new Jointech, chupa?"
"The turn Jointech Hero is summoned by releasing Ace, I can send the top card of my Deck to the Graveyard to activate its effect! Beating Max Soul! Jointech Hero's ATK goes up by 1500 until the end of turn, and I return Ace from my Graveyard to my hand to summon it again! But Ace won't be by itself!"

"4-4000, chupa?" Chupataro toggled his control levers forward and back. "Y-you can still surrender before Chupa tears ya to shreds, chupa!"
"I set a card! Battle! I attack Meeeg-chan with my souped-up Jointech Hero!" Yuhi gave his card on the floor of Chupataro's apartment two pushes. "Explosion of the Union Bullet Straight!"
"MEEEG-CHAN!" (Chupataro LP 4000 ↓ 2500)
"Jointech Ace, attack Chupataro directly!"
"Gwaa! That the best you got, chupa?" (Chupataro LP 2500 ↓ 1000)
"One more!"
(Crying REACT) "Meeeg-chan will never want to see Chupa again, cabra!" (Chupataro LP 1000 ↓ 0)

He remembered everyone's faces…except Chupataro's. Chupataro was out of frame.

"Yuamu?"
"Don't go, please!"
"What're you talking about? I'm not going anywhere…I get it now. Within the darkness, there's so many things locked inside my head…"
"Don't go!"
"Huh? For some reason, I…I feel a bit lighter…"
Damamu…I'm sorry…I won't get to see you grow up…
"Don't go!"
"What're you talking about? I…Hey, Yuamu…You're Yuamu, right? My…little sister…right?"
"You can't go!"
"I'm not going…but, see ya. I don't get what's happening, but…I think it's time…to say goodbye."
"Stop! Wait! Yuhi, don't go!"
"My little sister…I'm not sure, but…"
Chupataro…I'm sorry…I love…
The bad ending. Yet it was Yuga's future. The bad ending with Goha Corporation that had to happen.
"Yuamu, I leave the rest…to you…"
"Yuhi!"
"Yuamu…Yua…"
The memories of his sister evaporated, and so too did all of Yuhi's memories of Chupataro.
