Meanwhile with Cat Noir and his teammates...
They had finally made it over to Ladybug, her teammates and Class 1-A. They all looked relieved to finally see Iida and Melissa as well. Everyone felt so much more relaxed with almost everyone finally here. Jirou and her parents were finally feeling a little better, and she introduced them to Ladybug and Cat Noir.
"So, you two are Ladybug and Cat Noir?" Jirou's dad pointed out, "You guys seem pretty young to be pro heroes."
"Y-Yeah. We're kind of from Paris. Things are just run different there at our school," Ladybug said as she scratched the back of her head.
"That's right. We even jumped ahead a bit because we caught up pretty quickly," Cat Noir said back with a nervous look on his face.
Jirou's dad gave them a suspicious look, but quickly apologized for what happened just now.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to take your Miraculous! It was just so tempting to help our little girl!" Jirou's dad cried out, making them flinch a little.
"Dad... Please..." Jirou said back with a cringed face, "You're embarrassing me..."
"Dear, you're doing it again," Jirou's mom said to him, "Sorry about him. He can be a bit dramatic. I really do hope that we didn't cause too much trouble though."
Bakugo looked back at Queen Bee and noticed that she was still stuck. Her Miraculous was beeping, and Bakugo hoped that her detransforming would help her. He wanted to take off her Miraculous, hoping it would help. He didn't want to risk it though and left it alone.
"Don't worry Katsuki," Ladybug said to him, "She should be back to normal once she detransforms."
Bakugo didn't say anything as he waited for her to detransform. He couldn't look away from her and hesitated to move his hand closer to hers. He wanted to respect her and gave her a little bit of space. Ladybug could tell that he really cared about her and was happy to see them together.
"How many more akumatized villains are there left? It feels like we've been fighting forever," Sero asked them.
"Hmm... Hawks and Shiozaki you said her name was... the Wild Wild Pussycats so that's four... Wolfram, one...--"
"Wait, Wolfram?! You ran into Wolfram?!" Midoriya cried out, mostly towards Melissa, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm okay," Melissa said as she tucked her hair back, "Tenya here made sure I was safe the entire time."
"There was also Gentle Criminal and La Brava so that's two," Midoriya said to them, "And then the Sludge Villain... don't get me started on him..."
"Mr. Aizawa took Spinner and Mr. Compress to the police station so that's two," Cat Noir told them.
Most of Class 1-A was worried about that, but didn't say anything. There were a lot of shared nervous looks and decided to leave it at that.
"Jirou's parents... that's two..." Kaminari said to them, "Are we missing someone?"
"Oh! Tenya stopped his older brother. He was akumatized," Melissa said to them, knowing that he was a little nervous to talk about it.
"What? Iida..." Yaoyorozu said to him with a worried face, "Are you okay?"
Midoriya was a little nervous and worried about him, and his brother. He could tell though that Melissa was there for him and comforted him.
"Yeah... I'm okay..." Iida said to her, "I'm just that glad that Tensei is safe."
"Okay... so that means there's only four more, right?" Ladybug asked them, just to make sure.
They all thought about it for a moment. For some reason, that didn't feel right. Something or someone was missing, and it was bothering them.
"I feel like we're missing something," Kaminari said to them, "Did anyone capture or stop Monoma?"
They all froze in place and realized who they were missing. Midoriya looked around and didn't see him anywhere recently. The most recent moment when he saw him was somewhere during Gentle Criminal's fight. He knew that he was trying to find a good time to go after him, Ladybug or Cat Noir.
In the corner of Midoriya's eye, he saw Monoma in the distance. He was trying to get the Sludge Villain unfrozen from Todoroki's ice. His stomach felt sick to his stomach so quickly the moment he saw what he was doing. Without thinking or warning anyone, Midoriya activated One for All and launched at him.
"Monoma! Stop!" Midoriya cried out, "You don't know what you're doing!"
Everyone turned towards Midoriya's direction and spotted Monoma with the Sludge Villain. He looked like he was using a quirk similar to Bakugo's. That definitely got Bakugo confused because he never touched him. He never even got anywhere near him.
"Sorry everyone, but I'm not letting you wrap things up so easily!" Monoma cried out as threw an explosive fist at the ice.
Before Midoriya could reach him, the Sludge Villain broke free. He looked a little out of it for a moment, his sludge even looked a little thicker and harder to move because of the ice. Midoriya's eyes widened in shock seeing him out of the ice and freed from Monoma of all people. Everyone ran after Midoriya, but the Sludge Villain already locked onto him.
"You thought I was done with you?! It doesn't matter whether I'm akumatized or not, I'm still going to come after you!" The Sludge Villain cried out.
Midoriya felt One for All flowing all around him, but it was starting to slip away. He felt like he needed some help to reach it.
"Ladybug! Do it!" Midoriya cried out, "I need you!"
Ladybug's eyes widened and knew what to do. She activated One for All as she flew towards him. Midoriya felt his arm get its strength back, gripping his fist for his next move. He kept going and swung his fist right at the Sludge Villain.
"Texas Smash!" Midoriya cried out as he slammed his fist into him.
The Sludge Villain tried to wrap around Midoriya as he punched him, but the force and wind of his punch was enough to stop him from doing so. He felt it push him away and soon the Sludge Villain splattered. Midoriya let One for All relax once he noticed that he had finally done it. Something about defeating the Sludge Villain felt oddly satisfying, especially with One for All.
Monoma looked at him like he was afraid of him. But when Midoriya narrowed his eyes on him, Monoma flinched and went back to being his usual annoying self.
"Midoriya! Of course you noticed me before anyone else!" Monoma cried out, "Class 1-A just seems to follow you around a lot, don't they?"
Monoma kept playing around with this quirk that looked oddly similar to Bakugo's. Midoriya was frustrated that he even had Bakugo's quirk in the first place. His fists clenched up, feeling a little frustrated that he somehow flew under the radar.
"Monoma... When did you get Kacchan's quirk? We never saw you touch him or get anywhere near him? So how?" Midoriya asked him.
"Oh! This?" Monoma pointed out, clearly trying to show it off, "I didn't get it from Bakugo. I would never get anywhere near that loud mouth."
Everyone was shocked, especially Bakugo. He didn't understand if he was just messing with them or there was some other plan that Chrysalis was getting at. He clenched his fists in anger and stomped over to Monoma.
"You..." Bakugo growled out, "What're you playing at exactly?! You have my quirk! What did Chrysalis tell you?! Clearly you're working for her to get Deku's or the other Miraculous!"
"You've got it all wrong," Monoma said to him with a teasing smile, "I'm not helping Chrysalis. I just wanted to see your face for the next akumatized villains! This is gonna be so entertaining!"
Bakugo looked like he was about to use his quirk on him. Midoriya grabbed the pocket watch from Monoma's belt and stomped on it. An akuma flew out of it, and Ladybug caught it just in time. A purplish cloud formed around him and detransformed him into his usual school uniform.
Sero wrapped Monoma up in tape so he couldn't get away.
Bakugo couldn't help but wonder what Monoma was talking about. He was very confused, but then things started to click. Then all of a sudden, something was thrown towards him and was right by his face. He barely had any time to realize that it was a grenade similar to his.
"Kacchan!" Midoriya cried out as he launched towards him.
Bakugo spotted him and pushed him away from it right as it went off. They fell down to the ground, feeling a bit winded from that explosion. Everyone ducked and shielded themselves from it.
They all looked up to see two akumatized villains that looked like they had similar costumes to Bakugo, but not as flashy and bulky. The lady had on a grenade belt just like his and even had them attached to gauntlets that helped collect her sweat. The man wore gloveless gauntlets that gave him some room to use his quirk. He had a belt, but didn't have as much grenades like his partner did. Their spandex suits made it easier for them to use their quirks. They both wore combat boots with baggy pants.
They both wore masks that matched them, making their eyes stand out.
Bakugo's eyes widened in shock and got even more frustrated and even embarrassed that this was even happening to him. He felt like everyone was looking at him, which made things even more awkward. He clenched his fists in frustration, knowing full well that Chrysalis was enjoying this. He couldn't take it anymore and got up to face them.
"Old hag... old man... What the hell are you doing here?!"
Meanwhile Ashido and Kirishima...
Kirishima stood there with Todoroki's akumatized older siblings as Ashido froze in place. Crystal was freezing her with her quirk, and Ashido couldn't get out of it or away from her. Something about it made him realize that she couldn't use her acid quirk or else she might freeze up some more. AllMight wanted to help them, but if he did, he might make things worse.
Ashido gritted her teeth as she tried to break out of the ice. Crystal held onto her arms, causing the ice to spread down to her elbows.
"Ashido! Let her go!" Kirishima cried out.
Crystal looked at him, Zoe AllMight and Gabriel. They were all concerned about what was going on. Kirishima wanted to help Ashido, but she was stuck with Crystal. She kept freezing her, causing Ashido to get icy breath and shivering like crazy.
"Not unless you lead us to the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous," Crystal said in a demanding tone, "Or else your friend here will turn into a popsicle."
Kirishima gritted his teeth, feeling pretty cold coming from the two of them. He looked at Ashido's eyes, and he could tell that she was terrified of Crystal. She was freezing cold, and the ice kept spreading down her arms.
"Ki-Kirishima... I-It's o-okay... Do-Don't b-be st-stupid..." Ashido said while she was freezing over, "J-Just... de-defeat h-her f-for me... okay...?"
Kirishima's eyes widened in shock, seeing her freezing down to her shoulders. AllMight wanted to do something, but he couldn't do anything without them hurting Ashido. He clenched his fists in frustration and wanted to do something to help them. Gabriel felt a little concerned for them, but still felt a little out of place here. Besides, there wasn't anything he could do.
Kirishima looked at Frost and then Crystal freezing Ashido to get information. She wasn't letting up and kept getting colder and more frozen solid as she froze her. Kirishima knew that her acid would not help at this point. Not when she was covered in freezing cold ice. Kirishima knew that he had to do something to help her. His fists loosened up when he noticed how scared Ashido was.
"Okay. I'll lead you to them," Kirishima said to them, shocking everyone in the room, "Just... leave her alone."
"Ki-Kirishima...! N-No!" Ashido cried out, "D-Don't d-do th-this!"
Crystal put her hand to Ashido's face, but stopped only mere inches away from her. Ashido stayed quiet and felt absolutely terrified of Crystal.
"What're you doing?! I said that I'd help you!" Kirishima cried out.
"Yes. If I let her go however, she'll just run off and tell everyone what we're up to," Crystal said to them, "Natsuo, you go with him. I'll stay with this little annoyance."
"But that wasn't the deal, Crystal!" Frost cried out, "We need to stick together if we want this to work! You and I both know that!"
Crystal gave him a piercing glare, and he flinched on the spot. Kirishima walked out of the dormitory, feeling a little nervous to be doing this. He didn't know what his plan was, but he knew that he had to do something to help Ashido. He couldn't let Crystal do this to her. His fists clenched tightly, feeling a little uncomfortable leaving her behind.
Frost followed him, but got his gauntlets ready just in case he betrays him. Kirishima gulped, not sure how to handle this sort of thing. He spotted Ladybug, her teammates and Class 1-A in the distance. They looked like they were taking care of something already. Some of them were further back than others, dusting themselves off. Luckily Todoroki was one of them along with Yaoyorozu and Uraraka. Kirishima remembered that Uraraka had a pretty unique Miraculous and wondered if she could help out somehow.
Kirishima walked up to them, and they immediately spotted his friend with him. Frost had his hood up so Todoroki couldn't recognize him, although he was definitely suspicious of him. Yaoyorozu and Uraraka shared a look and seemed to wonder what was going on with him and Ashido.
"Kirishima, who's your friend?" Yaoyorozu asked a little nervously.
"Yeah. He's looks like he came from the mountain," Uraraka commented.
Kirishima was a little hesitant, but turned to Todoroki. He looked at Frost and then back at him with a worried expression. Kirishima could tell that Frost wasn't expecting to be face to face with his younger brother. Todoroki looked like he was concerned about him, and he immediately felt bad for him. All he could think about was Ashido.
"T-Todoroki... I-I..." Kirishima said, feeling a little nervous, "I need Ladybug and Cat Noir. There's an akumatized villain in the dormitory... They've got Ashido... We might even need Uraraka for this..."
"What?!" They all cried out in unison.
"Ashido?! Is she okay?" Uraraka cried out, feeling even more worried about her friend, "I'll go with you!"
Frost gave Kirishima a piercing glare and noticed that he emitted some cold mist. Kirishima could feel it starting to make him really cold, and he turned to her. He needed her, but he could tell that Frost was not happy with this new addition.
Todoroki seemed to notice how cold it suddenly was and looked at Kirishima's hero next to him or whoever it was. He figured that it was some pro hero that came to help out, but something about it felt a little off. He wasn't talking or saying anything to them. He even didn't look at Todoroki and turned away when he got close to him.
"We need Ladybug and Cat Noir. Ashido is going to need it," Kirishima said back.
Yaoyorozu ran over to them and soon left Kirishima, Todoroki and Uraraka alone with Frost. Todoroki felt a little unsure of this guy, especially since he came out of no where. He knew something about this wasn't right.
"Kirishima. Who's this?" Todoroki asked him, "I've never seen him around before. Is he a pro hero or something?"
"Umm... Y-You could say that..." Kirishima said as he hesitated to say anything else.
Before they could question him any further, Yaoyorozu came running over to them with Ladybug and Cat Noir. They looked worried about them, mostly wondering about Ashido. Even Frost threw them off a bit.
"Kirishima! Thank goodness you're okay! Where's Ashido?" Ladybug asked him.
Kirishima waved them over, but hesitated to bring Uraraka. Frost didn't like Uraraka tagging along, but ended up letting it go. Kirishima wanted to take his time and hoped that this might help him figure out a plan. He really didn't want Ladybug and Cat Noir to get hurt or in trouble because of him. But he couldn't let Ashido get frozen like that.
"Who's your friend? Did he go skiing or something?" Cat Noir asked Kirishima, "He looks like a pretty cool pro hero."
Kirishima hesitated to answer, and Todoroki noticed it right away. He looked at Frost, and he thought he noticed white hair poking out of the hood. They kept walking without Kirishima saying anything. Uraraka and Todoroki worried about Kirishima and hoped that things were okay with Ashido. Even Ladybug and Cat Noir weren't sure what was going on with him. Before they could go any further, Todoroki felt it getting really cold from the dormitory. Even Uraraka noticed it and hugged her arms for warmth.
"Oh my gosh! It's freezing out here!" Uraraka cried out, "What's going on, Kirishima?!"
Before they could get any answers, the front doors opened up. The freezing cold air came rushing out of the dormitory, causing them all to hugged their arms to stay warm. Their eyes widened to realize that Ashido was in there. Before they could turn back over to Kirishima, Frost shot out ice towards them and forcing them into the dormitory.
Todoroki helped Uraraka up, and Kirishima ran over to them to help them. Ladybug helped Cat Noir up, feeling a bit dumb that they fell for Frost's trap. Frost aimed his gauntlets right at them, ready to make his next move.
"Finally! Crystal, how's it going over there?" Frost cried out as he got his partner's attention.
They all looked over at the other akumatized villain. Their hearts skipped a beat when they spotted Ashido being frozen to the floor. Her arms were completely covered in ice and went down to her chest. Her feet were stuck so she couldn't get away. Her eyes were wide open with a look on her face that made Kirishima's heart skip a beat.
"Ashido!" Kirishima yelled out, worried about his friend, "Let her go!"
Crystal looked at Ladybug and Cat Noir and smiled, happy to see them. They got what they wanted, but then she looked over at someone she wasn't expecting to see. AllMight, Zoe and Gabriel were right there, but they couldn't move with their feet frozen to the floor. Crystal had to stop them from taking care of things themselves. Todoroki's eyes were wide, realizing who they were underneath the hoods. He was speechless as he stood there looking at freezing cold Ashido was in the moment.
"You... You two..." Todoroki growled out, making everyone notice him.
"Yes Shouto. It's us."
Frost and Crystal revealed themselves to Todoroki, and he nearly collapsed from shock. His knees shook, seeing them here and akumatized. He felt flames come off of his left side just seeing them together like this. He looked at Ashido, and he couldn't believe what was going on.
Todoroki's siblings were trying to take the Miraculous.
Another amazing chapter!
This is a good one! There are four akumatized villains left! I like how Monoma was revealed to be still akumatized. Midoriya even got a moment of taking down the Sludge Villain. He is a villain after all, even if he weren't akumatized, he would definitely go after him or Bakugo. I just find it satisfying that Midoriya got to use One for All on him! Also, surprise Bakugo's parents are akumatized?! What?! This'll get interesting, that's for sure! I just find it funny that pretty much the rest of the akumatized villains are family members, LOL!
I really liked writing Kirishima and Ashido's part of this arc. I feel like Kirishima would be someone that wouldn't know what to do. He can come up with plans, but he's definitely not as smart as Bakugo and Midoriya. Todoroki is finally facing off against his older brother and sister! Again, I'm glad it's them and not Endeavor. I just find this more interesting and less obvious.
