"Where are we now." Elt said as they stepped out of Pelican 1 into Fist of Democracy's hanger.
"Alright everyone follow me." C1 said as he ushered Elt and the orphans to the platform making sure they don't get hurt or lost.
"Where are we mister." One of the children asked as the platform rose up.
"We are on the super destroyer Fist of democracy, my ship."
"But how are we on a ship, we went up into the sky." Elt asked C1.
"Ohh you'll get a shock when you find out where we are." C1 said as he makes sure the children are following him.
"Helldiver." The service technician said holding out a bag of sweets "The ship master asked that I give one of these to the kids when they arrive." She said as turned to the kids offering them. "Here take one." She said smiling. The kids looked apprehensive before they took one.
"Helldiver you've returned, good." The democracy officer said walking up to him. "Our team has been able to replicate and examine an old Super Earth firearm the FLAM-24 Pyro, but the others need to be in a Super Earth base to be opened." He finished before C1 asked him about TYRANNY INCARNATE.
"What about the terminid threat on the planet sir. What's happening, what are they doing." C1 asked.
"They aren't terminids Helldiver, they're bugs. TYRANNY INCARNATE was from the first galactic war and only the bugs from then will be spawned." The officer informed the Helldiver and began to speak again. "Anyway you deserve a break Helldiver, the others are in the canteen already and I'll prepare the mission."
C1 said nothing as he walked away past the children who were practically having convulsions from eating the candy.
It crawled along the ground of a cave creating a nest for itself and the eggs it was nearly ready to birth. The original inhabitants of the cave didn't enjoy their temporary stay with it, with those bat things flying off when it bared its fangs at them.
It felt its body yearn for flesh. It craved for it.
But his instincts told it to stay until its eggs were laid and then it will forage for food for it and its spawn. It had to temporarily use its body to feed the eggs meaning it had to cocoon itself later than it intended. It wished those bat things stayed it could feed the eggs probably laying its eggs today.
It finished the nest for the eggs as it prepared to rest until its eggs were ready, until it heard movement outside. It travelled to the mouth of the cave as it heard grunts from something.
"Come out little man I wont hurt you in the way you think." A green woman thing said as it looked around. TYRANNY INCARNATE thought what to do attack and get more food or wait and be safe. It chose the later waiting to attack before it then ran with its spindly legs towards it, wrapping around its leg and started biting it clean off. The thing screamed as it devoured its legs, drops of blood falling down its teeth to the ground.
Again TYRANNY INCARNATE started attacking the navel and gutting it as it screamed her last. It then started to enjoy the spoils of his encounter enjoying its juicy flesh and its weird energy.
It then crawled back to its cave feeling it eggs rapidly develop from its recent meal.
"WARNING MAJOR LOSSES FOR AUTOMATON CONTROLLED. SEVEN PLANETS LOST"
It would have scowled at that if it could, the fools had gotten their hands on a new support weapons and upgrades for their super destroyers. Its hacking revealed Super Earth is now attacking the Terminids with the troops having to kill one billion of them, they were more than halfway through this major order.
It also wanted to get that new energy source from the planet that was discovered by the humans, it was intrigued, a unknown factor that its enemies of its species could gather and understand was terrible for all of the galaxy.
It then thought of the other half of the message, the new weapons they had found on the planet it was starting to panic a little, their enemies were getting more powerful with each acquisition they get. But its new projects will prove to be useful to claim this planet, its new tanks and new patrollers will be useful for his new acquisitions.
Most of its computing power was put into tracking the message that it discovered, it nearly located it, as he thought of what the Helldivers on the planet were doing.
Said Helldivers were just exiting the canteen making their way to the bridge ready to do their next mission. G4 then approached the democracy officer and saluted him before asking him a question.
"Sir when will we have a connection with Super Earth, to evacuate the planet below." He asked as he stopped saluting.
"Soon. We have communications with Super Earth, we're currently mapping out where we are." He responded as the hellpods activated as all of the Helldiver went in one.
"HELLPOD LAUNCH INITIATED." The speaker said as they were launched to the planet.
"Now bring Marcus and Elt to me it's time to begin there fight for Super Earth." The officer said to the ship personnel as they then started searching for him. As he saw how many days had passed for Super Earth. They were stranded there for three whole days but seventeen days for Super Earth, the science team checked to see if there was a gravity disturbance that lasted for there entire time they were orbiting the planet. Something was off and all on the super destroyers knew it.
On the surface of the planet in Lescaite, there was mass panic in the city as multiple children were taken by the chief gods heroes into heaven. The zealots were in hysteria, saying they would be taken up to heaven in the soon coming rapture and the world be burned with the sinners left. The people who were there that night knew it was to get people out of the way of something coming to attack them with them telling others about the threat.
William Noscrim and the others on the council heard gathered as one heard what the peasants were saying about a great existential threat to them was coming to attack them.
"What should we do sir, the panic of the rumours is causing riots and problems for us." A cardinal asked.
"We must quell people's hysteria, we need to see the heroes again." William said to the others as they all heard shouting and fighting outside the courthouse.
"And what about the increased sightings of monsters surrounding Lescatie." A priest said holding up a scroll of paper with the reported sightings and attacks.
"We need to have an example of the monster threat. Get a group of knights and heroes, we need to show we are still favoured by the chief god." William said as he began writing an order to the guard barracks and Merse. "If no one has anything else to say meeting adjourned." He said looking around at the others who began to take their leave.
"Let's hope this works, we can't have anymore instability in Lescatie or it will be terrible for us." A deacon said as he exited the courthouse.
William exited the courthouse as well going back to his mansion in the centre of the city to start preparing to flee the city if the occasion should arise. His thoughts of what possessions he should was interrupted as he saw his daughter have a glum look on her face talking to the disgusting half breed who was scanning the area before she saw him.
William approached the two who faced him and them going stiff when he got to them. He began to address Primarina "Elf you have been requested to join lady Merse on a mission to investigate the forest surrounding the city and kill any abomination you see." He said as Primarina scurried away and Wilmarina attempted to leave as well. "And you are going to be helping me and the other members of the council to evacuate the city, so pack your necessities we leave tomorrow." He said stopping her from leaving before he walked off to his mansion to grab all his possessions.
Wilmarina stood there as she felt nothing from the order. When she heard that Elt was gone she felt as if a part of her had died. Her childhood friend, the only person who treated her as a normal girl instead of a hero, gone, taken up to heaven. She felt numb still as she then went to find her fellow heroines to tell them she had to leave the city and say goodbye to them.
She wandered what the heroes were doing taking children off into heaven first and then leaving the others to fend for themselves.
"Go now, and should you fall, remember this: Every day is a good day to die for Democracy." The democracy officer said as the exited there hellpods.
"Calling down support weapon." "Calling down backpack." They all said as they waited for their equipment to land as they saw it penetrate the clouds and land.
"Tagging mission objective." X2 said as the began travelling south-east to the nest of democracy's enemies.
There apparently was bug activity there and autocrats were also terrorising the surrounding area. The travel like all the others was uneventful with them staying silent or having short conversations with each other.
"Why did the democracy officer have to drop us so far off." Z3 whined as she approached a tree to rest on it for a minute as the others did the same on different trees.
"He wanted us to investigate the area and kill any enemy patrols but nothing is here." C1 said looking at his map.
"It's not like I'm complaining, but we usually do side objectives or destroy enemies nests or fabricators." Z3 responded stretching her arms.
G4 then responded to Z3 "And we probably get killed and be replaced for a minute until our brains can be safely put into a clone." He said as he started looking at his map.
"Well we better start heading off, we still have a mission and it's only two hundred meters away." X2 said as she led the others ahead before C1 used his jump-pack to get ahead of her.
"Yeah, we need to get to the nest though. We can't waist anymore time here." C1 said as they all ran to the cave where the activity was.
Two minutes the uninterrupted running was then interrupted by a gigantic autocrat. A massive tarantula type body with grey spiked legs, wispy fur coming from the end of the abdomen, a massive body of a woman with no clothes and her breasts were covered by fur, two spiked horns on the top off her head and a piece of paper blocking her eye.
"Why I can't believe four humans walk into my clutches I didn't have to go far from the nest." As she said this X2 used her new flamethrower sidearm to douse her in flames. The autocrat screamed at this as they all began firing on her before she keeled over in seconds her body mangled.
"Got a sample." C1 said ripping of her flesh on the least destroyed part of her body blood congealing on the floor.
"We're close to the nest though judging by what she said." G4 said as began to walk to a cave entrance he saw from their location.
"Then let's go." Z3 said as she began to run over with her breaker incendiary in her hand. The others followed before C1 said for them to wait as he tried to call down the emancipator exosuit.
"Hurry up man we don't have all day-" Z3 said before a spiders web apparently formed around her and pulled her up in the air.
"No Zara." C1 said failing to call down the exosuit again.
"Well what do I have here a group of adventurers coming to attack us." A voice said as something scurried into the light out of the cave revealing a beautiful with red markings on her face in a loose fitting spider themed old style kimono, and a yellow and brown spider body.
"Put her down now monster." G4 said raising his firearm at her.
"Ohh I'll do it, but do you want her to fall twenty feet out of the air." She said innocently.
"I told you to put her down." G4 repeated firing a few shots at the rock behind her.
"Wait you're serious about allowing her to fall twenty feet height out of the air." She said afraid at the callousness of the man in front of her.
"Calling down Exosuit." C1 said throwing the stratagem on the ground and the beacon going up to the sky.
"What's that." The autocrat said before G4 shot a few more shots.
"Let her down now." He instructed once more.
"Who the hell are you people." She said before X2 finally decided to use her K-2 throwing knife cutting the webs holding Z3 up and her falling twenty feet out of the air onto her right arm.
"Sweet liberty my arm." She screamed as the Jorou-Gumo stared in worry at the group as the gunship arrived firing the auto cannon at her turning her into a light red paste as the exosuit was drooped of to and ecstatic C1.
"Alright let's go spread democracy." C1 said his voice now louder with the suits speaker.
"Helldivers wait." The democracy officer said as a drop pod landed with four flags for each Helldiver.
C1 exited his exosuit grabbing four flags before returning to his exosuit and placing a flag on the side of the suit to show he ready to spread democracy and entering the cave. And then was followed by the others when they had grabbed their flags.
AN: Finally got round to complete this chapter. Hope you enjoyed it I don't think it was worth the wait but I have a lot more ideas for later chapters now.
Anyway if any Helldivers fans are reading this bit I hope you've seen the new trailer it looks sick. So the ninth or tenth chapter will be released after August sixth so I can see all the new enemies so I can add them.
And since no one responded if I should add Liberty Prime to the Super Earth arsenal I will. I've made up a bullshit reason how it exists in lore of the universe with the schematics being found with the weapons.
