In a word, Inuyasha was simply exhausted. They went at it for nearly 2 days. He was currently relaxing in the baths of his own room. His body was bruised and a little battered, but Sesshomaru was no better. He didn't feel as awkward about it as he thought he would especially since Sesshomaru hadn't acted differently when they called it quits. His body was healing nicely though, and he was satisfied. Sesshomaru was a monster in bed too apparently.
He stretched and finally stood up. He dried his body slowly and dressed in comfortable clothes before heading to the kitchens. He wanted to eat anything at this point really. The chef made him a quick, hearty meal, which he was thankful for. He then went back to his favorite spot in the library and read for a while. It was really peaceful until he realized his sun inuyoukai were calling out to him in fright. He sat up quickly and looked at them. He could see some man grabbing one of their arms tightly and even the two who he hadn't created from thin air looked terrified. "Why hasn't that fucking god answered my prayers? I have been here every day! Is this a scam!?"
"Sun god-sama scary!" The little girl began to cry harshly. Inuyasha glared. He wanted to relax. The man looked well dressed and he couldn't exactly ask Shino who he was, so he began to look around the palace for Kouga, Shippo, or Sesshomaru. He snapped though and soon the man only had a stump for a hand. The little girl quickly rushed away, and the crowd of people were shocked. The man was screaming in agony.
He spotted Shippo and went to him quickly, "Hey kid, come here." Shippo was curious and jogged over. Inuyasha waved his hand, "Do you know who this is? Is this a noble?"
"Uhh, I think it might be one of their kids or something. Kouga would know better, or Lord Sesshomaru." Inuyasha nodded.
"Thanks. Let's spar later if you got time."
"Yeah sounds great! I'll text you!"
Inuyasha nodded and walked towards Sesshomaru's office while watching out for his sun inuyoukai. The younger ones were crying in fright. Of course, they were. They hadn't ever felt any bad emotions and were clearly overwhelmed. They were huddled behind the young boy he'd transformed. He could sense that Sesshomaru was in his office alone and knocked before walking in. "Hey, do you know who the hell this is?" Inuyasha waved his hand and Sesshomaru looked at the screaming man.
"He is the son of the minister of agriculture." Sesshomaru spoke. "What is happening?"
"Oh yeah. He was trying to hurt one of them, so I burn his hand to a stump." Sesshomaru could see the crying children trying to hide behind the older one as the man was blocking their way into the shrine.
Sesshomaru picked up his phone and sent a message and continued to watch. A few guards then descended upon the shrine and gathered the man before an announcement was made. "A new law has been passed with the authority of the demon king. Those who harm, threaten, or cause stress to the youkai of the shrine will be executed under imperial law."
Inuyasha's eyes widened. "How the hell did you order that so fast?"
Now that the man had been removed the puppies really began to cry and clamber for attention. Inuyasha sighed and snapped. White flowers began to bloom all over the shrine, distracting the little inu puppies a bit. "Wow." They said as their tears began to slow to sniffles. "Are these to make us feel better?" Hina questioned as they all looked towards him.
"Thank you sun god-sama, I feel better." Asahi sniffled and picked a few.
"Go take a break. All of you." Inuyasha ordered. The kids nodded and they began picking flowers while the older girl showed them how to make flower crowns. Inuyasha sighed and cut the connection. "I should have made them adults. They're gonna need a lot of attention." Inuyasha looked at his brother who'd gone back to looking at paperwork. "What are you even doing?"
"Catching up on work I missed." Sesshomaru answered simply. He then passed a short stack of papers to Inuyasha who scowled.
He began to read them and couldn't help but laugh. "They'll even ask you for shit like this?"
"Keep reading them. It gets worse." Sesshomaru mumbled.
Inuyasha couldn't believe there were actually people who would go as far as to ask Sesshomaru to basically to put in a good word for him with the sun god. The more he read the harder he laughed. He looked at the lord to see him signing paperwork with a small smile and was reminded of the dangerous and lustful grin he wore during their time together. He started feeling embarrassed. "Yeah…they're bold. I'll see you later. I'm gonna go see my sun puppies."
Sesshomaru looked up to see him stepping through nothing and disappearing, a slight blush on his face. The lord sighed and leaned back in his chair. He didn't know why but he was sure Inuyasha would start to avoid him after the fact. He was happy it wasn't the case. His face felt hot, and he stared straight ahead wondering how he was going to convince Inuyasha to become his mate. They were so much closer to each other than he ever thought they'd be, and he truly hadn't been expecting Inuyasha to agree to sleep with him. It really woke something inside of him and he couldn't help his nature that he'd been pushing down for so long.
Seeing that cocky face contorted with pleasure, feeling claws on his back, listening to every whine, whimper, and plea. Sesshomaru blinked and brought himself back to reality. He felt his cock growing in his pants. He really wanted to touch him more.
There was a knock at the door. "Enter." He said coldly. He really didn't want to be bothered.
"Milord, we have brought the rest of the paperwork." He watched as a few people filed in with files and he couldn't believe he would sit around and do so much paperwork. It was only 2 days and yet so much work had piled up. He wanted to sigh and decided he would hire a few people to take care of it.
Inuyasha made his way to the shrine where people were still praying. His sun children had gone into the shrine after picking flowers. People were bowing to him, and he felt his power surge when he stood in front of the shrine door, and it opened for him. They were looking on in shock as many had tried and failed to open the door. When he entered, the children came out of their void room excitedly. "Sun god sama!" The young boy and girl he'd transformed looked very surprised.
"But you're…Lord Sesshomaru's younger brother…" The young man said in shock.
"Yep. Also, the sun-god." The two siblings were shocked by this.
"Um…well…I'm…Taiyou…Hiroto…and this is my little sister..Yui…." The young man seemed nervous. The other four children were clambering around him and hugging him happily. The young girl hiding behind him bowed her head as well.
"I have high expectations for you both, but I think you will do well. Just follow the teachings and live well. I trust you both to do what's right and make the right decisions. So, relax." Inuyasha gave a small smile.
"Hiroto nii-san! Aren't you happy to see sun god sama!" One of the other children asked happily.
"Sun god-sama came just to see us!" Asahi laughed cheerfully.
Hiroto seemed a bit nervous about their enthusiasm. "Don't worry Hiroto, they're full of life, as are you, and don't know how to regulate their feelings yet. When they're happy, they're extremely happy. They will learn and grow but you are all young puppies, so it's okay to act as you want." He pat the young man's head gently. "You don't have to struggle anymore. So do your best."
"Yes sir! Sun god-sama!" Inuyasha could only smile.
"Have you been to the realm of gods yet?" He asked curiously.
"No..Misato and a few others came to greet us is all."
"Alright. Be careful with other gods and do not speak to them if they come around. Just call to me immediately." The children all agreed quickly. He walked into their pocket world and found a comfortable seat. He watched the children play games. All of them wearing flower crowns made from the flowers he'd given them.
Hina trotted up to him with a large smile and placed one on his head. "Sun god-sama is pretty!"
"Thank you Hina-chan, go play." She smiled and skipped off after he patted her head.
Closing his eyes and leaning back, he turned his attention to the pigs. They were being acclimated into society. Sesshomaru had ordered that they be taught to live in the world which they were handling successfully, and diligently. He then looked at the badgers. They were all having a big group discussion, and it seemed like Ren was explaining many things to them calmly, and also answering their questions. Closing his eyes, a bright light shone in the room and his avatar that resembled him the most appeared. All the sun badgers bowed, and Ren hurried to do the same. "I am happy to see you all behaving and doing your best."
"Sun god-sama!" The children rushed to him happily as his feet touched the ground. He looked very similar to how his body did, just a lot more over the top and magical.
"I-Inuyasha…sama?" Ren stuttered.
Inuyasha looked up at him before smiling. He slowly walked over to him, "Long time no see Ren." He said with a sultry smile. A bright blush covered his face, and he was having a hard time as Inuyasha closed in on him. Inuyasha chuckled softly, "So you're going to follow me for the rest of your life, huh?"
Ren looked away while stuttering. Inuyasha was tempted to kiss and tease the badger when he felt a bit of malice and jealousy. "Ya. You might wanna control yourself. I'll let it go for now, but I will not tolerate disloyalty from any of you created with my power. Understood?"
A man dropped to his knees and bowed with his head on the floor. "I am sorry sun god-sama! I shall not covet what doesn't belong to me…."
Inuyasha knew that the badger's feelings were genuine, and it was all new to them, so he shrugged it off. "Ren's not an object. He doesn't belong to me. Calm down. You're being annoying." The sun badger nodded stiffly before standing. Those he created already had an idea about him and who he was which is why the children were so carefree and happily clung to him without a care. While the adults were more respectful and kept a distance. Ren was looking very confused about what was happening. "Whelp, make sure you're all getting along. Ren I'll answer your questions another time. Just wanted to check in and make sure things were going well. I'll see you later."
Inuyasha opened his eyes in the pocket world of his sun inu and stood. The kids were having a snack and listening to Hiroto explain things about the world. "Sun god-sama!" He called.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"I think…I think it would be easier if they just went to school…"
Inuyasha paused, that wasn't a bad idea actually. If he sent them to school, they would be able to influence children and as those kids grew up, he'd get more divinity. "What's school?" Nichirin asked curiously. The other children were looking between them curiously as well.
"That's not a bad idea but it isn't best for them currently. They need to learn a little more common sense before they go to school. Don't worry. I'll send them a teacher." Inuyasha compromised.
"Thank you sun god sama." Hiroto bowed.
"If you two want to continue going to school feel free to do so. Just make sure you keep your new power in check."
Yui seemed very happy about this and smiled brightly. "C-can my friends come over to play!?" She asked quickly.
"They are not allowed in the shrine." Inuyasha stated plainly. "If they walk into the pocket dimension by accident they will die and be trapped here. Do you understand?"
The little girl nodded sadly. Inuyasha refrained from frowning. He wasn't trying to make her sad, but the shrine was full of divinity, and it was dangerous for those of this world. "Go to school. Live your life. Protect and manage the shrine, is all I ask." With that, Inuyasha stepped back into the castle. He was in the library and sighed heavily. Being a god was a lot of work and took a lot more out of him than what he expected. "I should have made them adults." He mumbled to himself.
Inuyasha had only just sat down in his spot when he was up a second later and quickly shifting through the castle. "Oh, there you are babe!" Inuyasha glared at the owner of the voice. "I missed you so much!" The hanyou growled. "I knew I'd find you here though, I remember someone saying you had an elder brother. He's so pretty!"
Inuyasha crossed his arms, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
The being was reaching out to touch Sesshomaru. There were several people in the large room, including Kouga. Sesshomaru was standing still as ice and looking at his younger brother. Others had already scurried away and were trying to make themselves small and unnoticeable. "I just want to show the pretty youkai a good ti-!" The being stared at his missing appendage before his eyes found the youkai lord again. The cold look in his eyes sent a shiver up his spine. How could he be intimidated by a mortal?
"Hey aniue, feel free to kill him!" Inuyasha called out happily.
The being looked at him and distanced himself quickly. "How could a mortal hurt me!?"
"Anabe. Meet my big brother! Who hates everything and everyone." Inuyasha said cheerfully. "Remember we're not there anymore. I'll kill you for real."
Anabe was holding his bleeding arm and stopping the flow. He hadn't been hurt in eons and was having a hard time dealing with the pain. "I was only coming to warn you!"
"Yeah, a warning doesn't involve trying to sexually harass my elder brother." Inuyasha spoke uncaring, as he could see that his brother was about to kill Anabe.
"Mortals love it when I!" Anabe dodged Sesshomaru's whip. "Make him stop! Make him stop!"
"Aww, is little Anabe scared of dying after all this time?" Inuyasha was watching with a smile. Many of the gods could be killed easily by mortals which is why they stayed in the god realm and clung to those that were stronger.
"Itsurama is targeting you!"
Inuyasha's eyes widened. "Aniue stop for a second." He stood in between them. "Weak bastards in the room. Get the fuck out." All that remained was he, Sesshomaru, and Kouga. "Why the fuck would Itsurama be targeting me?"
"U-um! Because, because of the shrine! And how much you're gaining!" Anabe spoke quickly, wearily eyeing Sesshomaru.
"How the fuck am I supposed to believe your conniving ass?" Inuyasha growled, looking down at him as if he was a bug.
Anabe scrambled, looking for what he had tucked away in his robes before pulling it out. It was a scroll engulfed in flames. One of his predecessor's creations. "I already wrote out the clause in the contract and signed it! If I lie I'll disappear! I won't even be reincarnated!"
Inuyasha looked at it in detail, searching for any hidden clauses and fine prints with his divinity before signing the temporary contract and binding Anabe to it. "Now tell me what you know." Anabe began to quickly explain everything that had been happening with the other gods. Many of their shrines had been forgotten about or abandoned because of his showy displays. Even one of Itsurama's most profitable shrines was slowly losing people and everyone was blaming him.
"So, I guess I'll be killing even more gods then." Inuyasha said with a dangerous look in his eyes.
"They've been talking about taking your brother hostage or something." This made Inuyasha begin to laugh extremely hard. He was nearly doubled over with how hard he was chuckling.
"Tell them you learned this then. Inuyasha's brother is dangerous enough to learn to kill gods if threatened, he already conquered the world." Inuyasha came closer. "I'm not trying to stroke his ego or anything but I'm pretty sure as he is now, he could kill a good majority of those bastards on his own. More if he could've used Tenseiga. So, they can try it if they want to, I'm sure he'd like the opportunity to let loose."
Anabe looked over at the lord who was looking at him coldly. He'd never met such a chilling gaze before. A gaze that held no warmth, no remorse, no regret. It was clear that he was a cold-blooded killer and wouldn't even take pleasure in their deaths, it would be treated as if it were already expected. The most terrifying thing was his soul. Near completely unscathed considering the number of lives he'd taken. Anabe couldn't understand how these two were related. He couldn't fathom how they were of the same bloodline. He'd never been this scared before. There were very few gods that had that look in their eyes still, many had ascended beyond the god realm while others had died. He hated gods like that, and their subjects. He was happy he and the god he followed chose the side of the sun god. If the brother had become a god, he was sure many gods and souls would have suffered endlessly. It would be like hell in the cheery god realm. "H-how the hell are you related…to him?" He asked through his fear.
"Ah. Same dad different moms." Inuyasha spoke with a smile. The hanyou knew that wasn't what Anabe was asking. Anyone that compared them would probably think the same. Inuyasha only killed when it was necessary, and only fought when he was attacked. Sesshomaru killed when he wanted, fought when he wanted, and destroyed who and what he wanted. Their goals, actions, and way of living were completely different. It wasn't surprising that it was hard to believe they were siblings at times. Hell, he was sure they both had had such thoughts before. "Is that all? Make sure to send those bastards my regards. Leave."
The three watched the terrified man vanish. Inuyasha was glaring at the spot the man had been before turning to his elder brother with a large grin. "Hey aniue! Can I ask for another favor?"
