The Avengers were finally reuniting after the chaotic incident at the Cube, relieved that the pandemonium had seemingly come to an end. Or so they believed. Unbeknownst to them, the Leader had been quietly plotting his next move, successfully reactivating his Gamma shield—this time enhanced to an astonishingly powerful capacity, tenfold that of the one before it. Located on the outskirts of Las Vegas, the shield had been primed to detonate far away enough to evade the Avengers' interference.

While the Cube had merely served as a test, a precursor to his grander scheme, the Leader was now ready to set off the true instrument of chaos. With a flick of a switch, the Gamma shield erupted to life, casting a blinding green light that spread like wildfire across the Las Vegas skyline. The vibrant neon lights of the Strip flickered ominously, swallowed by the encroaching wave of energy.

As the shockwaves radiated outward, they transformed the unsuspecting denizens of Vegas into grotesque manifestations of their former selves—monstrous Gamma creatures, driven by uncontrollable rage and confusion. The once-thriving city turned into a nightmarish battleground, a chilling testament to the Leader's newfound power and the unforeseen consequences of his insidious experiment. The Avengers, unaware of the impending horror, were racing against time to piece together the reality of the new threat unfolding in the heart of Sin City.

"That's what, nine gamma villains back in custody? Pretty good day, right?" Peter asked his friends with a smile. But then his senses went off, alerting him of something. "Oh, boy... I opened my big mouth."

Peter frantically attempted to activate his game-protective Iron-Spider uniform, but the powerful wave crashed over him before he could complete the process. In an instant, he and his entire team of heroes were engulfed, their forms lost in a dazzling array of light and energy. As the wave receded, shouts of alarm filled the air, and Peter watched in horror as he and his comrades began to mutate, their bodies twisting and contorting into monstrous gamma-infused versions of themselves.

Amidst the chaos, two figures remained untouched—Thor, with his resolute gaze and hammer in hand, and Wolverine, equally bewildered but ready for a fight. The surprise was palpable between them as they exchanged glances, both realizing the gravity of their situation. They stood back to back, muscles taut, instincts sharpened, preparing to defend themselves against their once-cherished friends and allies who had now become formidable foes. The air crackled with tension as they braced for the inevitable confrontation, uncertain of what lay ahead but united in their determination to stand firm.

"How is this possible?" Thor asked in shock. "The Leader's machine was destroyed!"

"Wanna ask him that when we find him?" Logan asked as he snarled at the Avengers who snarled back.

"Avengers, remember who you are." Thor tried to get them to stop.

But it didn't take long for the Avengers to go in and attack the two of them. Thor jumped out of the way of a game Captain America before he could attack and then swung his hammer, striking Cap and sending him flying. Logan snarled while one of the DEO agents who was mutated went in to strike. Logan snarled and dodged the strike and then impaled the gama-agent instantly, throwing him off in the distance.

Thor was already being overrun by the Avengers who knew to fight him. Spider-Man shot webs to stop him from accessing his hammer while Wasp flew down and grabbed his other hand, holding him from trying to run and escape. Logan snarled as he drew his claws again, preparing to go in and strike.

"Logan! Run!" Thor warned him, seeing that they would be over run.

The gamma-monsters surged towards Logan, who heeded Thor's advice and took off. His swift pace carried him towards the desert, leveraging his speed which was currently unmatched by the other Avengers. As he dashed to evade the oncoming wave, Logan reached the outskirts just as his comrades halted at the dome's perimeter. Poised for a counterattack, he observed them cease their advance, unable to pass through the wave as if an unseen force restrained them from leaving the dome.

"What the hell?" Logan muttered as he watched his friends stare at him with anger.

Then there was a beeping from his wrist communication, getting him to look down at his watch. "Attention, humanity. I come to you with a message. And that message is "Do not be scared." The Gamma Dome that has formed in the American southwest is no threat. It is a promise. It is going to change the world for the better. You are weak. You suffer with your small minds and fragile bodies. And you have plunged the world into darkness with your faults. But I am here to save you. I will remake the world in my image. I will remake you in my image. You will be perfect, like me. And I will think your thoughts for you. The Gamma energy will grow to envelop the earth and you will be transformed. Your power will be my power. Accept your future, for I am your Leader. Welcome to Gamma World."

"So, the Leader had a backup device." Logan groaned as he saw his friends run toward the center of the dome. "That is definitely not good." He groaned when an idea formed in his head. "Wait, hey, computer voice, are you there?"

"Always at your disposal, sir," JARVIS confirmed he was still working.

"We need someone who is an expert on the Leader and Gama related, what have you got?" Logan asks. JARVIS pulled up a list of people on his watch, showing that the main expert was Bruce Banner. "The Hulk? How am I supposed to find him?"

"The Hulk was spotted in Northern Canada this morning," JARVIS reported, showing the location on the map.

"Great, I need backup if I am going to make it there," Logan reported in. "What is the location of Ant-Man?"

"Hank Pym seems to be busy in New York."

"Too far away." Logan groaned as he rubbed his head. "What about any other kind of help? Is there like a... residual Avengers group? Backup members?"

JARVIS pulled up a holographic projection with a small list of residual Avengers that were discovered. And there were only two: Hawkeye and Black Widow.

"You have got to be kidding me." Logan groaned. "What's their ETA?"

"They are about fifteen minutes out from you recurrent location," JARVIS informed him.

Logan growled and wished he didn't need to ask two DEO agents to help. "Fine... call them in."

Clint Barton was with a group of DEO agents after the Leader's message went out while the entire facility was trying to find a way to fight this when his phone went off.

"Greetings, Mr. Barton." JARVIS greeted him. "I am relying a message to you and Agent Romanoff on behalf of Mr. Logan, the Wolverine."

"What?" Clint asks. "How did you get this number?"

"We are looking for assistance in stopping this madness that the Leader has caused."

"The Avengers called us?" Clint asked, looking to Natasha who was confused by the half of the call she was hearing.

"Negative. The Wolverine relayed this call... the Avengers were trapped on the other side of the gamma-dome."

"What?" Clint was shocked to hear. "Well, what can we do?"

"Mr. Logan has a plan to locate the Hulk, but needs a pickup of sorts," JARVIS reported.

Clint sighed as he looked over to the jets they happened to be near. "How pissed will Henshaw be if we go rogue?"

Natasha didn't know what was going on, but judging by the look on her face she seemed to like it. "Let's find out..."

At the bustling heart of Las Vegas, atop the towering spire of the tallest building, Thor found himself unceremoniously dragged before the ominous figure of the Leader by the Avengers, who had fallen victim to his sinister influence due to the gamma bomb. The vibrant city lights twinkled below, a stark contrast to the chaos unfolding above. Thor winced as he took in the sight of his once-trusted friends and allies, now ensnared in the Leader's malevolent grasp, their eyes blank and devoid of recognition. A deep sense of dread settled in his chest as he fought against the rising despair. He could only cling to the hope that somewhere in the shadows, Wolverine was concocting a daring plan to turn the tide. But for now, with time slipping away and danger closing in, Thor steeled himself to buy precious moments and find a way to survive this grim encounter.

"Leave me." The Leader told his game hoard.

Thor began to awaken and noticed that his hammer was not in his sight, "My hammer where-"

"Ah, yes." The Leader called. "It is quite curious. My Wrecking Crew could not lift your weapon, even with their strength enhanced by my gamma boosters." He commented from his high perch above the sight. And you of all the Avengers were not affected by my gamma energy." Seems he didn't realize that Wolverine was still out there. "Now tell me, why is that?"

"Only those worthy of the thunder may wield Mjolnir, villain." Thor proclaimed. "And as for your "energy," mortal science holds no fear for an Asgardian."

"I suppose if gamma energy has no effect on a thunder god, then you will simply have to serve as entertainment." The Leader stated.

That was when Abomination came charging in, slamming Thor and sending him flying. " Not scared? You will be." He then punched Thor again, sending him spiraling around the floor.

.

In the heart of a dense, sprawling jungle, the air thrummed with a sticky humidity, wrapping around everything like a heavy cloak. The cacophony of wildlife filled the atmosphere, with the calls of exotic birds mingling with the rustle of unseen creatures. Towering trees, ancient sentinels of the wild, loomed above, their trunks gnarled and robust. A thick, lush canopy formed a natural ceiling, filtering the sunlight into soft, dappled patterns that danced across the forest floor, painting a vibrant mosaic of greens and browns.

Suddenly, the jungle's tranquil symphony was violently interrupted by a deep, resonant roar—the unmistakable sound of the Hulk. It reverberated through the foliage, a primal declaration of his presence that sent birds fluttering from their perches and smaller animals scurrying into the underbrush. He was locked in a fierce struggle against the Hulkbuster unit—a formidable governmental force equipped with advanced technology, intent on subduing him once more. Since his departure from the Avengers, the safety of their protection had evaporated, thrusting him back into a relentless chase.

This time, however, his adversaries seemed prepared; they had upgraded their arsenal. As he fought against the overwhelming odds, thick tendrils of a strange gas began to waft through the air, swirling around him like a sinister fog. Despite his immense strength, he felt the effects of the gas creeping in, a heavy lethargy that clouded his mind and slowed his movements, threatening to finally knock him out amidst the chaos of the jungle.

"The Hulk is down." An agent reported. "Let General Ross know the Hulk is down. The Hulk is down."

As they cautiously closed in on the towering green beast, a sudden onslaught erupted. Arrows whizzed through the air like deadly missiles, striking the armored tanks with precision and rendering their propellers useless. Sparks flew and thick smoke billowed as the green monster, the Hulk, began to stir from his slumber. With an earth-shaking roar, he lunged forward, seizing one of the disabled tanks in his massive hands and spinning it with unimaginable force before hurling it into the dense jungle. The metal vehicle soared through the air, crashing into the foliage with a thunderous impact.

The Hulk's fearsome roar reverberated throughout the jungle, a primal sound that struck terror into the hearts of the soldiers, sending them scattering in all directions. It was at this chaotic moment that Wolverine made his dramatic entrance, dropping from above with practiced agility. He landed with a thud, eyeing the Hulk as he approached, determined to seek the green giant's assistance. However, the tension in the air was palpable; the Hulk's eyes blazed with fury, a feral snarl escaping his lips, signaling that he had not forgotten their last confrontation. The atmosphere crackled with impending conflict as Logan stepped closer, aware of the volatile emotions coursing through the colossal figure before him.

"Leave Hulk alone." Hulk demanded.

"Leave you alone? I just saved your green hide." Logan stated. "Look, I don't wanna see you any more than you wanna see me, bub, but I need you. At least your other half."

Hulk growled when he turned to face Logan.

"The Avengers are in some sort of trance. Under the control of the Leader. I need Banner to help-"

The Hulk swung his massive arm, backhanding Logan with a force that sent him hurtling through the thick underbrush. As he screamed in panic and pain, every tree he crashed into seemed to echo his agony, splintering upon impact like kindling. The momentum carried him until he finally slammed against the rocky cliffside, the harsh surface jarring him as he struggled to crawl away from the wall, his body protesting against the sheer force of the blow. Each breath was labored; he could feel his bones protesting beneath his skin, but he knew he had to wait for his healing abilities to kick in amid the throbbing pain.

Meanwhile, Wolverine crouched low in the shadows, his body tense and poised like a predator. His sharp senses were tuned to the chaos around him, capturing the unmistakable scent of rage and raw power radiating from the Hulk. This was not just another skirmish; it was a battle he couldn't afford to shy away from.

The Hulk's massive footsteps reverberated through the jungle, uprooting trees like they were nothing more than weeds. Fueled by adrenaline, Logan sprang from his concealed position, his claws extended and gleaming in the dappled sunlight that filtered through the canopy.

A fierce snarl twisted his lips as he faced the behemoth. "You wanna do this?" he taunted, the bravado in his voice barely masking the intensity of the situation. With a fierce glint in his eye, he flexed his claws menacingly. "Then let's go, bub!" The air crackled with tension as the two titans prepared to collide in a clash of strength and ferocity.

"HULK SMASH!" Hulk bellowed, his fists clenching as he charged forward, ready to unleash his fury.

Wolverine dodged to the side just in time, the ground shaking beneath him as the Hulk's massive fist smashed into a nearby tree, splintering it into pieces. Wolverine retaliated, slashing his claws across Hulk's arm. The adamantium cut through skin, but the Hulk barely flinched, his healing factor quickly closing the wound.

"Is that all you got?" Hulk growled, his green skin glistening with sweat, muscles bulging as he prepared to swing again.

Wolverine grinned, his feral instincts kicking in. He darted around the Hulk, using the jungle's cover to his advantage. He struck from behind, slashing at the Hulk's back before jumping away, the beast spinning around in anger.

"You're gonna have to do better than that, big guy!" Logan cried.

The chase continued, with Wolverine darting in and out, landing quick, harrying strikes while the Hulk swung wildly, trying to catch the agile mutant. The jungle became a battleground, vines whipping and trees crashing down as the two titans clashed.

Finally, Hulk got wise. He feinted to the left, then lunged forward, catching Wolverine off guard. The force of the blow sent Wolverine crashing into the ground, the breath knocked out of him. But he quickly rolled to his feet, determination burning in his eyes.

"Not done yet!" Wolverine growled, charging at the Hulk with renewed vigor. He leaped, claws poised to strike one more time. The Hulk, however, roared with primal rage and swung a massive fist directly at Wolverine.

In a split-second decision, Wolverine twisted in mid-air, allowing the blow to graze his side rather than take him out completely. Pain shot through him, but he powered through, landing on Hulk's shoulders and driving his claws into his neck.

With a bellow of rage, Hulk reached back, attempting to grab Wolverine. But Wolverine was too quick, leaping off and rolling to the ground. "You've got heart, big man, but I'm not going down that easily!"

The battle raged on, both combatants pushing each other to their limits in the dense jungle, the clash of claws and fists echoing through the wild. It was a primal contest of strength, speed, and sheer will, neither willing to back down, both legends in their own right.

But it was interrupted when an arrow flew through the air and landed right between them before they could go charging at one another again. From an advantage point above, Hawkeye and Black Widow were watching the entire encounter from their jet and finally had enough of their endless fighting. They were both in the sense unkillable to one another, meaning the fighting was pointless enough as it was.

"That's enough!" Clint cried as he jumped down with Natasha, the two of them landing beside the Hulk. "Look, we get you wanna be left alone, but we need your help."

"Call the Avengers," Hulk said as he walked off.

"The Avengers are the ones we're trying to save, not to mention the whole world," Clint stated.

"There's a big green energy dome, turning everyone into gamma monsters," Natasha warned him. "It is growing and will begin to grow until it floods the entire world."

"You want someone to fight monsters? You should've asked them." Hulk said, looking over toward the destroyed machines.

"We don't need them, smart guy, and I don't need you," Clint stated. "We need to talk to Banner."

"Banner's not home," Hulk growled. "Now leave me alone!"

"Listen, Bigfoot! If you don't give me Bruce Banner in the next three seconds, bottom line? I will take you down." Clint warned him.

Upon hearing Hawkeye's threat, Hulk responded with a thunderous laugh, knowing he could easily overpower him. His boisterous laughter not only echoed his amusement but also served to soothe his rage, paving the way for Dr. Banner to regain control and revert to his human form while he continued to laugh.

"Okay," Banner said as he tried to calm down. "You have to give me a minute. He hasn't let me out in weeks." He then began to fix his pants so they wouldn't fall over. "Now Agent Barton, tell me everything you know."

Back with Thor, he was slammed against the floor while Abomination stood over him. "You call yourself a Leader, but what gives you the right to lead this world? You defeat your enemies with trickery, with the strength of others. You have no honor."

"You wish me to talk? Fine." The Leader sighed as he was overseeing his dome. "Why should I lead humanity? I am the most advanced mind the world has ever seen. I think on a level normal human beings cannot begin to comprehend. Look at this world, Asgardian. Mankind is on the brink of destruction." He stated, looking outward to see the chaos of Vegas. "They need me."

Meanwhile, The Leader also sent out the Wrecking Crew to try and move the hammer. But their attempts were to no avail as the Hammer began to float upward.

Banner brought the three of them off to his cabin he had in the woods nearby. Seems that was where the Hulk had been hiding out ever since he left the Avengers. There was a lot of tech around the area and experiments Bruce was running on himself.

"You did all this while you were on the run?" Clint asked, poking one of the canisters.

"Yes, and don't touch anything," Bruce said as he was looking at the data. "Your watch collected quite a bit of data about the gamma energy the dome was putting off." He said to Logan. "Parker likes to be thorough."

That was when Bruce took a syringe and poked Clint with it, causing him to wince. "Ow! Hey! What'd you do that for?"

"I just inoculated you," Bruce explained as he did the same to Natasha. "That will temporarily protect the two of you from the Leader's gamma energy. Seems that Wolverine isn't affected by the ray, so he should be fine." He then grabbed a bag and placed a device into it. "We're going to have to do some of this en route. There's not much time. The longer people are exposed to the energy, the more likely the changes will become permanent" He then pulled up a map with a sonar device. "I've located the epicenter of the dome, that's where the Leader will be with the Gamma Energy Generator. That's what we have to destroy."

"Well, you've just got all the answers, don't you?" Logan asked with a chuckle.

"So how are we going to get to the Leader?" Natasha asks.

Bruce then tried to get mad as his eyes glowed green. "The direct route."

Thor was flung across the floor as the Avengers were throwing him around while still under the control of the Leader. Thor was being slammed into the ground by Captain America while he groaned. But he then swiftly grabbed the mutated captain and flung him away.

"You cannot win, you must know that." The Leader tells him.

"I disagree, villain." Thor proclaimed as his hammer flew through Vegas and landed right in his hand. "I played your game long enough to retrieve Mjolnir. And now your game is over!" But when he was preparing to siphon energy, he felt some strange goo beginning to attach to his body, stopping him from moving. "What manner of..."

"You feeble-minded fool!" The Leader mocked. "Of course I wanted you to retrieve your hammer." Then it was revealed that the Absorbing Man was the strange liquid that began to absorb Thor's hammer. "I let you do it."

"Nice hammer." Absorbing Man said. "Now let me show you why they call me the Absorbing Man."

Then Thor was smacked across the floor yet again. "You asked before what gives me the right to rule? Because no one can stop me." Then the Absorbing Man flung and sent Thor flying out as he tackled him. "And without the Avengers, who is left to stand against me?"

That was when the floor came toppling down and they watched as Wolverine, Hawkeye, and Black Widow came into the scene. "You with the head, freeze!" Clint cried out.

Then finally came Hulk as he leaped through the ground and slammed the ground in front of the three.

"I knew you would come eventually, my old enemy." The Leader said as if this wasn't a surprise. "But you of all people must realize this is for the best. In Gamma World, no one will hunt you. No one will try and cure you. You'll be a king. Everyone who hated you, who attacked you, they will be you. Are you really going to try and stop me?"

Hulk grunted. "No. Not stop you... smash you!"

"Disappointing, but not unexpected." Leader sighed. "Abomination."

Abomination came charging at the Hulk who charged back at him, slamming the two of them together. "You ready, animal? With the Leader's tech, I'm stronger than you." He stated, slamming Hulk into the ground. "I'm smarter than you. And I am going to beat you to-"

Hulk then kicked him to an upper level, getting him to leap to chase after his enemy. Hawkeye then got a chance as he quickly drew an arrow that was enhanced by Banner's research. But the arrow was stopped by a gamma-radiated Spider-Man who tackled the arrow with his large spider-like mouth and crushed it with his teeth.

"You're either very brave or very stupid, archer." The Leader informed him. "The three of you are vastly outnumbered."

"Never stopped us before," Natasha said with a shrug. "You go left, I go right?"

"What about the claw guy?" Clint asks.

Logan let out a furious roar, his primal instincts taking over as he charged toward Spider-Man without a word of explanation. With fierce determination, he tackled the colossal gamma monster, bringing it crashing to the ground. In a swift motion, he drove his adamantium claws into its flesh, fully aware that his formidable healing factor would keep him alive amidst the chaos. His mind raced as he focused on the real mission: protecting Black Widow and Hawkeye while they executed their part of the strategic plan.

Spider-Man, however, was far from beaten. With a powerful surge of strength, he propelled himself upward, his additional limbs extending with a mind of their own. In an impressive display of agility, he leaped back down to tackle Wolverine, sending him crashing into the ceiling with a resounding thud. Quickly recovering, Spider-Man shot out a web that wrapped around Logan, yanking him down and slamming him back into the ground with a force that reverberated through the surroundings. The battle was fierce, with each fighter pushing their limits in a desperate bid for victory.

"I think he has this covered," Natasha said.

The air crackled with tension as the gamma-mutated Avengers surged forward, a chaotic blend of rage and power directed at Hawkeye and Black Widow. Natasha, her instincts razor-sharp, unleashed a volley of widow bites from her wrist, the sleek projectiles slicing through the air toward the Wasp. The nimble hero managed to deftly evade her attacks, every movement a testament to her agility. However, this distraction played into Hawkeye's hands; he nocked an arrow with precision and let it fly. The arrow struck true, embedding itself in the Wasp's abdomen—not to wound, but to deliver a serum that would reverse her gamma sickness.

As the fight escalated, the formidable figure of Captain America barreled toward them, his shield raised defensively. In a split second, Hawkeye sprang into action, vaulting into the air in a graceful arc. He fired another arrow, this one aimed at Natasha. The projectile soared toward her, a perfect trajectory that allowed her to catch it mid-flight. With a swift and practiced motion, Natasha redirected the arrow, plunging it into Captain America's leg, the serum within delivering the antidote to his gamma affliction.

"What do you think you are accomplishing? Your toys cannot hurt my creations." The leader informed them.

"Yeah, we're not a genius like you, so we found one," Clint stated. "And he made me some new arrows."

That was when the cure began to work and transformed the two of the heroes back to normal, albeit with their uniforms completely torn to shreds.

"His name is Bruce Banner. Maybe you've heard of him?" Clint mocked.

"Indeed I have." The Leader said, transforming his seat into a suit of armor that began to march around the area.

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Clint cried as he and Natasha ran for cover to try and find cover.

Meanwhile, Thor was taking a beating from the Absorbing Man while a group of gamma monsters were watching the two of them. "Fight back!"

Thor only kept his eyes closed as he took a deep breath. "I cannot, for I am concentrating."

That was when the Absorbing Man went in for another strike, only for his fist to be stopped in the middle of the throw. "I can't move! What's going on?"

Thor raises his hand and reveals he is controlling the Absorbing Man. "You were foolish to take on the essence of Mjolnir, mortal." He then began to levitate him into the air. "The hammer's power is not yours to control, it is mine."

Then he threw Absorbing Man into the air, sending him flying into the tower.

Clint and Natasha weaved expertly through the explosive blasts unleashed by the towering robot controlled by the Leader, their hearts racing as the other Avengers charged into the fray. With his bow taut and ready, Clint notched another arrow, his eyes narrowing in focus as he aimed at Logan, who was grappling with Spider-Man, trying to prevent him from breaking free.

When the arrow struck the ground near Logan, it quivered before he picked it up, eyeing it with a mix of confusion and urgency. Without hesitation, he plunged the arrow's needle into the side of Spider-Man's neck. A moment later, a shimmering serum coursed through Spider-Man's veins, working its magic, and within seconds, the young hero's body slumped limply as he fell unconscious, the struggle leaving him as he reverted to his familiar, unmasked self.

"My genius cannot be defeated! I've planned for every contingency!" The Leader cried as he continued to fire upon them.

"Too bad you're such a lousy shot then, cucumber head." Clint cried as he drew another arrow and fired at him.

Leader dodged the arrow and watched as the arrow exploded, causing a cloud of smoke to appear around him. That gave Natasha the opening to begin shooting and giving them a chance to escape. He wasn't their target. The antenna was.

Hulk was fighting Abomination on the same rooftop as they were trying to best one another. But no matter how hard they tried, the other couldn't win. That was when Abomination messed with the Leader's tech, causing him to grow twice his size. Abomination then charged towards Hulk, smashing him into the roof, seeing that he no longer had the strength to match his enemy.

"I'll always beat you, Hulk." Abomination promised. "Do you hear me? I'm better than you in every way!"

Hulk growled as he tried to escape, but was stuck. "But I've got something you don't... backup."

That was when Hawkeye and Black Widow shot several gamma devices that impaled the Abomination, turning him back into his normal self and falling unconscious. Logan growled as he walked over and was preparing to destroy the machine. But that was when the Leader crashed through the roof, sending them all toppling as the Hulk got back on his feet.

"The four of you think you can defeat me? I have already calculated a thousand ways to destroy you both." Leader promised.

That was when a shadow and a faint cry got their attention as they looked upward and saw that the Absorbing Man was falling from the skies. He slammed into the Leader's machine, sending it and him toppling. That was when Thor came in flying with thunder striking around them.

"Destroy? You do not know the meaning of the word, Leader." Thor proclaimed.

With a fierce determination, Hulk strode toward the towering antenna, his massive fists clenched tightly. "You really want to hurt the Leader? This is how," he growled, his voice rumbling like thunder. As he reached the base of the device, he began to crush it with an incredible force, the metal groaning in protest.

"No!" The Leader's voice echoed in desperation, filled with a mixture of dread and disbelief as he watched his precious creation shatter before his eyes.

With a powerful roar, Hulk seized the remnants of the machine and tore it apart, the once-mighty gamma dome quaking as it began to collapse. The air crackled with energy, and with each piece that Hulk ripped away, the dome shrank, shrinking smaller and smaller.

In a dramatic transformation, the twisted forms of the gamma monsters around them trembled and shimmered, reverting back to their human selves as the nefarious effects of the device faded away. A wave of relief washed over the crowd, a stark contrast to the chaos that had unfolded just moments before.

.

The Leader whimpered as he tried to crawl away when Hulk marched over at him. Logan snarled as he drew his claws at his oversized brain, seeing he wasn't going to be a problem for them now.

"It would have been glorious." Leader whispered. "I was creating the perfect world all in my image."

"That's the problem, bub," Logan stated.

"You're ugly." Hulk agreed with Logan.

With that, the DEO came in and took all of the gamma-related enemies back into custody. The Avengers all groaned as they were getting over the ordeal they encountered while their saviors were answering questions.

"We appreciate your assistance in all of this," Peter told the two DEO Agents.

"Dont mention it, just doing our job," Clint replied.

"Well, not really. What if it was though?" Peter asked them. "We've been meaning to expand the Avengers a bit more. As you saw, we aren't exactly full roster yet."

Natasha scoffed when she heard that. "Join your crew?"

"Yeah, we watched how easily the Leader took you out." Clint agreed.

"That's exactly why we need you two," Peter said as he held his hand out. "Come on, what's the harm? You get to work with legends like Cap and Thor...and me."

"Wow. Selling yourself short there, Hero." Janet mocked Peter with a laugh.

"Eh, it's my go-to." Peter shrugged.

"Yeah, no thanks," Clint said as he and Natasha walked off.

"What about you?" Logan asked the brute.

"Will you walk away as well?" Thor asked him sincerely. "You are indeed a noble warrior, Hulk one who has saved the Avengers, and now helped save the world. I would trust you with my life. Will you trust us?"

Hulk seemed to be considering as he looked at the two agents. "Uh, I'll stay if Cupid and the scary lady stay."

"You want to go, jade jaws?" Clint asked, turning to face him and even preparing to draw an arrow. "Right here and now? Let's do this!"

Peter chuckled as he saw they were going to be a fun addition to the team. "Okay... This is going to be fun." He then sighed as he noticed his phone. "Oh, great."

"Your aunt?" Janet asked.

"And about a dozen people." Peter sighed and saw Vicky had a lot of messages. "She must be worried."

"You better have a way to explain things," Janet said.

Peter thought of it and knew he could kill two birds with one explanation. "I might..."

Amidst the turmoil of the desert chaos, Abomination managed to break free, his grotesque form dragging through the scorching sands. As he struggled to regain his footing, a shadow loomed over him. He looked up to see a figure clad in an eerie mask, its features obscured and mysterious. Beside this enigmatic presence stood a man draped in a long, flowing coat that billowed slightly in the hot desert wind. His wild hair cascaded around his face, framing eyes that glinted with a predatory gleam. Claws, sharp and menacing, jutted out from his fingertips, suggesting both danger and a primal instinct. The air was thick with tension as Abomination realized he was now not alone in this desolate expanse. There was also a woman who wore a green, skin-tight suit, which leaves her shoulders bare and a matching mini skirt. She also wears tight green arm sleeves that go almost up to her shoulders, black tights with green circles on the sides, and a green tiara. She looked at herself in the mirror and chuckled, feeling her lips from where she kissed him.

"Hello, Abomination... I have a proposition for you." He greeted the creature.

Peter ran through the halls of CatCo and saw the chaos after the recent gamma attack from the Leader caused everyone to grow fear of the idea that they were about to turn into gamma monsters. Through the chaos, Peter saw that Vicky was working on her computer while also talking on the phone with someone. He knew that this was time for him to finally try and ask her out. He has been trying to get the chance and after being turned into a gamma monster, it was time to stop living in fear.

Vicky was talking when she looked over and saw Peter. "Uh, Mom, I gotta call you back." She then hung up and walked over, quickly smacking Peter. "Jerk!"

"Ow!" Peter cried as he felt the punch. "What did I do?"

"You weren't calling me back!" Vicky stated, smacking him again. "Where were you?"

"Well, after the message, I ran to my aunt's house, but.. chaos erupted on the streets," Peter admitted, seeing that was a plausible excuse. "And.. during all of that, I thought of the things I would regret. And there was something I wanted to say... something I would regret forever."

"What is it?" Vicky asks.

"Vicky Vale... would you go out with me?" Peter asked her, seeing the shocked expression on her face. "Your choice, wherever you want. My treat. And my apology."

Vicky saw he was serious and she admired him being so bold to ask her like that. "Wow... you seem confident in yourself."

"I know, I am just as surprised as you," Peter admitted.

Vicky chuckled when she heard the joke. "Okay... I have your number, I'll text you my address. Two hours. Come and get me in two hours... I know a guy at this Italian place I like that owes me one."

"Deal, done," Peter promises her.

Vicky chuckled as she then began to walk off, seeing he needed to hurry and get ready. That was when Winn came across him and saw what just happened.

"What?" Winn asks. "How did you pull that off?"

"I will let you know when I figure it out," Peter admitted as he walked off with a laugh.

Things were looking up for a change...
