Port Charles, June 2003, Port Charles Grille
It was almost funny to see her brother be so excited about being an uncle. He started to list all the cool things they could do and his excitement rubbed off on her. They rescheduled her flight and he decided to take a leave of absence to be there for her after she broke down and admitted the truth. He held her and said he would be there for her no matter who the father was. It is a good thing she is not showing yet because is stalling this as long as possible. This just keeps getting worse with her best friend being sick and Jason finally finding out that he must be devastated. On top of that, his best friend is missing and somehow they are blaming Ric and now Courtney is missing and he is frantic because she is also pregnant. Emily let it slip because she wanted to hang on to meet her niece or nephew and she was concerned. She found Ric was having an affair with Faith so she moved out and is staying with her brother in a hotel suite for now. Her check-up is being set at a private hospital and in moments like this it pays to be the granddaughter of Steve and Audrey Hardy. She and Emily are having lunch at the hotel's restaurant to help take their mind off of things. Elizabeth says " I wish there was more I could do for you with everything that is going on." Emily says " It is not your fault and you just being here is enough and thank you for coming back." Elizabeth says " Of course, you are my best friend, and just sorry it took me a little longer than expected to get back. Steven wanted to come back to Port Charles with me and needed some time to find a replacement but I am here now and I am going to help you get through this, Em."
"I am just sorry you are also going through a tough time as well," Emily says. "Considering my husband is having an affair with a psychopath who may be the reason your brother's wife and best friend are missing is just another day in the neighborhood. Speaking of that how is your brother holding up." Emily sighs " It makes me sad that you too aren't friends anymore and that you can't ask him these questions and be there for him. But he is worried and has hardly been getting any sleep or eating." Elizabeth says " Please do not take this on yourself Jason and I are not your responsibility and you need to focus on getting healthy for yourself and your future. We both made decisions and we have to live with those." Emily says " I know but hope they are both okay since they are both pregnant." Elizabeth says " I know the feeling Steven is excited about being an uncle." Shit, she must have a pregnancy brain because she just let that causally slip. " Oh my gosh, my best friend is having a baby. I better be the godmother and honorary aunt. I know this is crazy with Ric but have you told him." Elizabeth says " No I have not and I am not going to either. Especially because he has made it clear that does not value me by getting involved with a crazy woman who released a snake into my studio. There is no way I am saying anything because I do not trust him or her."
Before Emily can respond, Elizabeth's phone rings and she answers, " We need to talk now meet me at my place." The voice says and hangs up. That was fucking rude she thinks. It is a good thing they are done eating and if they were not she would have finished her food. Elizabeth says " Hey, Em, I gotta go but do me a favor and do not mention my pregnancy to anyone for now." Emily says " Of course just if you need support do not hesitate to call me." They hug and promise to be there for each other. " Hey Elizabeth it has been a long time." Johnny O'Brien says. " Hey Johnny it is always good to see you but Jason needed to see me." He opens the door and says " You owe me a game of pool Elizabeth don't forget." She winks at him and says " Of course just get ready to lose." He closes the door and Jason looks pissed.
" Are you done flirting with O'Brien or are you ready to talk," Jason says. " First of all, you called me to come here and you should be thankful I answered your call and came considering I was out at lunch asshole." O'Brien texted Francis saying that their spitfire was about to roast Jason's nuts and Francis texted back saying he would be there in two minutes. Jason says " I had to trick you into answering the phone because you have been avoiding my calls and dodging me." Elizabeth says " Yeah real classy using your Grandmother's landline to call me knowing I would never ignore her. Did you not get the memo that I have been out of state since March?" Jason says " If You have not noticed my pregnant best friend and wife were kidnapped and my sister has cancer so I have been a little busy." Elizabeth says " Of course I am aware because Emily is my best friend and I came back for her. I am sorry that your best friend and wife are missing and that they are both pregnant but do not get pissed at me for avoiding you. I have good reason and I do not think the world revolves around but you did not even know I was gone." Jason says " Of course I knew you were gone the trail went cold in Colorado and you have been back for almost two weeks." Elizabeth says " You had something following me are you insane?" Jason says " What do you want from me? I show you I care but tracking you and you are pissed about that?" Elizabeth says " What I want is for my husband not to be fucking a psychopath, for my best friend to get well, I even want your wife found because our children could be siblings and I may not like her but their children are innocent." Fuck twice in one day. Considering how scatterbrained she is this baby is probably Jason's. The asshole is the only one who could have her knots like this.
" Wait a minute, I need to make sure I heard correctly because I am running off ten hours of sleep over the last five days, and I am pretty sure you just confirmed that you are pregnant and the baby could be mine. Elizabeth says " What I think lack of sleep is getting to you, Morgan. So tell me why you wanted to come here." Jason says " Oh we will get to that I promise but you are not going to avoid this. We both know I have resources and I can find out if you are pregnant or not so just tell me." Elizabeth says "Fine, more than likely, the baby is yours considering we were irresponsible and used no protection, and I lost track of how many times we slept together because someone wanted to treat sex like it was a marathon. I slept with week that week as well but it was only once and we used a condom. Meanwhile, in the hallway, Johnny and Francis both look at each other and say " Oh shit." Francis says " Either way no one can find out and we are going to bust our ass to protect her whether she wants it or not." Johnny says " Agreed but I hope it is his because maybe they will get stop being so damn stubborn but it would be awkward with Courtney."
Back in the penthouse, Jason feels a myriad of emotions. He is so caught up he is not thinking and that is so not like him to be impulsive but Elizabeth brings that out in him. He is about to do something fucking stupid but he needs her right now. His life is falling apart and now he is going to have to fly out of town tonight because they finally have a lead. Elizabeth says " I will let you get back to your life because as usual, you have nothing to say. If this child is yours then you can make the necessary arrangements for their safety but that is the extent of your involvement." Jason says " If you think that I will not help you raise this child you have another thing coming and even if Ric is the father I am still helping you because that bastard cannot be trusted." Elizabeth says " Who do you think you are?" Jason stomps over to her and whispers in her " I am Jason fucking Morgan and I am claiming that baby whether you like it or not. Just like I will claim you." He kisses her and roughly enters her mouth. He does not want anyone to hear her moans because those are reserved for him. He picks her her and takes her to the back bedroom downstairs. He wastes no time removing her clothes and is thankful she is wearing a summer dress with no bra today. He only pulls down his jeans and boxers and with no warning he thrusts into her. Jason growls and says " I need to remind you that no one takes what is mine damn it." Elizabeth says " I am not yours anymore my love you have to let me go." Jason cries and looks in her eyes " No please don't say that. I am sorry that I hurt you and made you feel you don't matter but you do. Please don't give up on me. I need you to believe in me." He becomes erratic and she feels like she is being split in two she knows he needs this and she will let him have it. Elizabeth says " Just slow down I am right here baby. Just relax for me." Jason slows down and in a small voice " I need you and I can't lose you too." Elizabeth lets out a quiet moan and replies " Shush I know you are scared but you are strong and everything will work the way it is supposed to." She can't give them what he wants because he is in love with someone else and can't give him her heart again.
He lays them on their sides and she is facing away from him and he lays his head in the crook of her neck and slowly enters her from behind. He gently kisses her neck as he strokes inside of her with one hand on her stomach and the other massaging her breasts. He drives over the edge again and again and he lays his head on her stomach as she runs her fingers through his hair. " Hey there my little prince or princess it is Daddy speaking. I want you to know that I love you no matter what and your mommy is so special. She is going to teach you art, how to be kind, how to be loyal, and how to be strong. Daddy is not a good man and I am sorry about that but I will love you and I will listen and I will protect you. I will be the best dad I can be and no matter what you hear about me just remember that for me." He kisses her belly and she hears him listing facts about countries. " Only Jason Morgan would list facts to a child about countries," Elizabeth says. " I want them to know experience the world and see the beauty in such an ugly world. I know you are going to be a good mother and I am thankful for that." She feels him breaking down her walls and she cannot let him do this to her. " I know you will be a good father and teach them to be patient and what it means to have honor. But we are not a couple and you are in love with someone else. It does not matter that I served Ric with divorce papers I am going to do this on my own and even decided to become a nurse to support this child. You called me over here for a reason I highly doubt this was it so what is going on?" Jason says " I will table this for now but I am not giving on up this. Get dressed this something I have to show you."
