Chapter four
He takes her to his office and boots up his computer. He leaves and comes back with food and a disk. Jason says " Here are some crackers, fruit, and herbal tea. I can have the guys get some more food." Elizabeth says " Thanks but this will do for now." He pulls up an audio recording and it is clear as day it is Ric's voice " Listen to Faith, Lorenzo is getting impatient, and he wants to know when he can offload Courtney because he only wants Carly. I had to stop drugging my wife because she was becoming resistant to it." Faith says " Sonny and Jason are not falling apart like I need them to be. The good thing is that they only suspect you but with no proof and with your twit of a wife on your side that buys us some time. They would never physically harm her but you need to stick to the plan. You need to find her so that we can frame her for this. I already have what I need and once we get what we want she goes to jail or they kill her and we get the territory and Jason and Sonny will be blindsided and that is when we will strike." The recording stops and Elizabeth feels sick. Jason rubs her back and she says " That piece of shit used me and is going to try to frame me. That is just perfect I look like the jealous, vindictive ex and because Carly and I hate each other they are going to use that." Jason says " We have proof of this and I will have men guarding you. I know you may not like it but I have a safehouse that no one knows about but Johnny and Francis. I can set you up there for now until this is over. I am leaving tonight because I have Carly and Courtney's location but I need to make sure you are safe before I go." Elizabeth says " Let me guess you have had guards on me since you found this recording." Jason nods. Elizabeth says " I will do this only because I am pregnant and this child comes first. I just will need a burner phone so I can communicate with my brother and Emily but I promise I will not tell them anything. I just am worried about Em and I do not want to think I abandoned her and I do not want Steven to worry." Jason sighs " I will make arrangements but you have to leave immediately and I will send for your things."
Elizabeth says " No offense but do you want guards packing my underwear and bras." Jason growls " Abouslutey fucking not. Ugh fine. We need to move now and only take bare essentials. While you are packing I will set up an account for shopping and it will get sent to a different location and then the guard will bring it to you. I do not want you arguing about how you are independent and will pay me back. Think of it as a thank-you gift for having our baby and that is priceless." Elizabeth says " Jason I appreciate what you are doing but I do not want you to get your hopes up." Jason says " Even if Ric is the father there is no way we are going to allow him anywhere near this child. I want to take responsibility so let me. We do not have time to argue we need to go." Elizabeth says " So bossy. If this child is bossy I am blaming you." Jason snorts " Oh please that would be from you." Johnny and Francis walk behind them smirking. Elizabeth says " Wipe those smirks off your face." They both mutter " Busted." Jason has the camera feed put on a loop and uses the back entrance since his family owns the hotel. Elizabeth says " I forgot your family owns this place that comes in handy." As they exit the elevator she enters the room not expecting her brother to be there but she overhears him yelling " We have to tell her the truth especially now that she is pregnant and she is going to be 22 this year." Elizabeth thinks what the fuck is going on. Steven says " If you do not tell her I will because she deserves to know what she is and she needs to be prepared." Elizabeth says " We need to leave before he realizes we are here." Jason nods and they quietly exit the room. As they make it into the car, she says " What the fuck was that? Who was my brother talking to and he said something weird too?" Jason says " Yeah I heard him say something about learning about what you are." Elizabeth says " As if I am not human or something big is going to happen on my 22nd birthday. I have a few months before that but I hope that is my birthday because with all of this other bullshit going on I do not need to find out my whole life is a lie."
Jason says " I can have stan look into your background and we can go from there." Elizabeth says " Can stan be trusted not to report to Sonny that he is looking into my background?" Jason says " Technically there are men that only work for me and Stan is one of them so yes he can be trusted." Elizabeth says " Then you have my permission and thank you." Jason on reflex leans over and kisses her. Elizabeth says " You have got to stop doing that. Do you know how hard it is to resist you? Especially when you kiss me like that." Jason smirks " Did you know that this limo is soundproof and that our ride is going to be two hours?" He puts his hand up her dress and says " You naughty girl no underwear." Elizabeth says " Someone ripped my underwear." Jason says " I see you are still so wet for me and I could not wait to have you but I promise I will replace your underwear." Jason lays her down lifts her dress unzips his jeans and lowers them down with boxers. " This is going to be fast and hard." He enters hers without warning and she says " When you are as big as you are you need to warn me first damn it." Jason says " You were wet and you can handle it. Besides my dick was lonely and missed its' home and that is what you are to me. You and our baby are my home." Elizabeth hates him so much and hates that he saying things she has wanted to hear before all of this got complicated. Why does he have to torture her and why does she let him? She promises herself when they leave this car they will never have sex again. She also promises that when she finds out the truth about herself and her best friend is healed she is going leave Port Charles and start over. She cannot watch him love her and raise their child together. If this child is his she will tell them about their father and let them decide on knowing him but she fears what she is capable of if she stays.
Thankfully there were wipes in the car and she was able to make herself look presentable after she let him pound into her so many times it is amazing she can walk. The safe house is gated and looks more like a mini-mansion than a simple safehouse. She can say he has good taste in the farmhouse style. He gives her a quick tour and shows her where the panic room is. " This panic room is stocked with food, water, a burner phone with my number and Johnny and Francis' numbers, and a gun. It also connects to a tunnel that will lead you to a dock and there is a boat there that says the wind and it is also fully equipped." Elizabeth says " That is cute that you named after the painting and I never told you I learned how to drive a boat." Jason says " You told me once when you were drunk and wanted me to buy a yacht for you to drive." Elizabeth says " Hahaha very funny Morgan. Don't let the door hit you on the way out." Jason says " The burner phone also has stan's number and I told him to accept your call so you guys can go over your history before you came to port charges. I do have to go and I do not know when I will be back but I know you were supposed to have a check so I do have an appointment scheduled for you under an alias and there is a disguise for you as well. I want to know everything they tell you alright." Elizabeth says " You have all your bases covered and I will keep you updated but you should go." Jason nods gets down on a knee and whispers into her belly " This is Daddy speaking little one I have to go but be good for your mommy and if any men are flirting with mommy while I am away you have my permission to raise a little hell. I love you little one and take care of your mommy she can be a little trouble." He feels a slap upside his head and she says " That was rude telling them that. I will tell them that one story that you do not want anyone to know and I will never tell you where I hide the picture." Jason says " You would not dare do that I have a reputation to uphold." Elizabeth says " Just think if this a little girl you will have had practice if she wants to put makeup on Daddy and wants you to paint her toes." " I will do anything for my princess but she will know better and not take a picture, unlike her mother," Jason says.
Elizabeth shakes her head and laughs. " Be safe Morgan and we will see you later." He hugs her and inhales the smell that is so uniquely her. He pulls back and puts his one hand on her stomach and he rubs her cheek with her his thumb. " I just want this baby to be healthy but I would love a little girl with her mama's eyes, chocolate hair, and her smile. Your smile can light up a city." Elizabeth says " I want them healthy too but I want a little boy with your eyes because they are Lila's eyes, with your beautiful blond hair and your generous spirit." He looks at her lovingly and kisses her forehead. " Take care of yourself and be safe." Elizabeth nods and watches him leave. " I will love you no matter what but I will hope you are Jason's because no matter how he has hurt me I know he will love and protect you even if it hurts him. Mommy loves you and I am going to give you the best life that I can. Let's call your aunt Emily and then your Uncle Steven because he has some explaining to do." After her phone call with Em, she is preparing herself for the phone call that could change her life. After the second ring he picks up and she says " Hey Steven, I just want you to know that I am safe and okay but I need you to promise me that you avoid Ric as much as possible, and if you come looking for me tell him to sign those divorce papers and I am not his concern." Steven says " Okay I promise and I was worried because we were supposed to go to dinner and I called you and it kept going to voicemail. Where are you?" She says " I cannot get into the right now but we do need to talk."
Steven says " We do because there are things I need to tell you but I would prefer if we do it face to face." Elizabeth says " That is not possible right now. I cannot get into much detail and I do not want you involved because I do not want you in danger but Ric is not who he claims to be and that is why I do not want him to know about the baby." Steven says " Did he threaten you?" Elizabeth says " I have not seen him since I have been back but did not outright threaten me but he is a really bad person and I regret marrying him." Steven says " As long as you are safe that is what matters. But I do need you to know that what I am about to tell will sound far-fetched but it is the truth and I have proof that is hidden in a very safe place." Elizabeth says " I know we weren't close growing up but one thing I can say is that I know you have never lied to me. You would tell me even if I did not want to hear it." Steven says " Just know this was done to protect you and I know you hate that but we just wanted you to have a normal as possible life. You are not Jeff and Carol's daughter." Elizabeth says " What? Are you saying I am adopted and that I am not a Webber or Hardy?" Steven sighs " You are adopted but you are still are biological Webber and that is because I am your biological father."
