Frankfurt, Germany, 2013

It was exhausting in the beginning being on the run. Between hiding from Jason, The Webbers, and her mother's family, the Crisans. Then it became a game and even became fun. She missed her children but they were better off without her. She immediately left the States after she gave birth and her mother whose real name is Tassa chased her for years and Elizabeth finally got caught. At least it was away from her children and that is the way she kept it. She tried to fight her transformation and she put up a good fight for the first few years but when Tassa caught up the pull was too strong and she gave in. The only humanity she has left is her children and that is something she clings to. She will never let her family know they exist. Johnny and Francis erased all records of her and her connection to them. So now she goes by the name Athena Crisan and she has not turned back. One thing she has clung to is that she is independent and she checks in with her family but she does not live with them. The amount of money they have amassed over the centuries makes the Cassadines look poor and that is saying something.

She is currently out hunting and she found a man who was scum of the earth. One of her codes is that feeds and kills people no one would miss and people who have earned death. She is hopping from tree to tree and he is running and she hears his blood flowing. She leaps in front of him and says " Boo." He screams. " You know for someone who preys on teenage girls you have a higher pitch than they do. I am going to enjoy eating you." He begs for his life and she loves when they do that. After she is finished she wonders if she is going to love his body here or burn it. She is in the burning mode and she lights him on fire with her mind. They all are fast, and strong and she still looks 22 but she can burn people with her mind she has other gifts but does not share them with her family. She may have accepted them but she will never fully trust them or anyone.

She is at the edge of the woods and she smells a familiar smell. My my my she has not smelled or seen him in years. How did he find her? It is a good thing she does not sense her family within 200 miles radius so he is safe for now. " It is not very safe to be out this late at night. Athena says " I must say the years have been kind to you but if you have come here to make some plea about how I should come with you it would be a waste of time." Jason says " I still have the letter you wrote me where you claimed that you never loved me and to never come looking for you. You claimed you could not bear to look at our children and see me. That is not the one I know and I love." She shakes her head " I meant what I said and did not mention them to me. I must admit all these yours and you are still the best lay I have ever but that is all it was. Why would I ever love a man who was someone's bitch yet claimed to be his own man? I keep tabs on you to stay a step ahead of you and I must admit I do not how you did but you got me this time. There will not be a next one." Jason says " I do not know when you became a liar but stop lying." Athena moves and throws him into a tree. She squats down " Aww did that hurt? I barely touched you. It would be in your best interests to stop looking for me and to forget you ever knew me. You are married and those kids seem to be thriving so walk away or your kids will be orphans. The woman you knew is dead and she is never coming back.

She touches him and he feels a warmth in his body and his pain is gone. She whispers " Looking for me puts those kids in danger. I am not human anymore and the sooner you accept that the safer they will be. You are still so beautiful and tell Em that I hope she appreciates the gift I left. The woman you loved wants you to know that she died so that you and those kids could live. Beautiful names by the way and I see you got your wish. A little girl with her mother's smile and eyes and she got her wish with a son with his father's eyes and hair." She can sense her family within 190 miles which means they will be there in less than 15 mins. " You need to leave Germany and never come back to Europe at all. I know you want to show them the world but they cannot be in Europe the pull is too strong here. That is the last piece of advice I have because if my father ever finds out they will come for them and turn them into monsters. Their mother does not want this life for them so honor her wishes and let them live a human life. This curse ends with me. Goodbye, my darling." She is gone in the blink of an eye and he has missed her so much and he sees her in their kids. He refuses to believe that she is too far gone. He did something she did not see coming and if it is what keeps him alive long enough to save her he will. He whispers into the wind " You are my light and I will never give up on you. We are forever and if I have to lose my soul for you to keep yours I will. We love you and you are the best part of us, my love." She hears him even though she is miles away and that small part of her that is still Elizabeth Webber the girl who painted him the wind and fell in love with for giving her freedom is still in there and that part of her is relieved but mostly she just has to try harder for him to give up on her and she knows what she has to do.

One month later, Port Charles, Halloween, 2013

"Jacob Edward Webber Morgan, Lillian Imogen Webber Morgan, and Artemis Martin Webber Morgan if your aunt Emily takes you to the hospital for extra candy this year you three better be downstairs in five minutes so you are not late for school. Am I clear?" You hear two sets of feet which means Jacob is the one running behind and being defiant. For someone who looks like he acts the most like his mother. Lillian goes by Lila and most of the time Artemis goes by Martin because it makes him feel close to his mom. His grams told him that was the name of Eizabeth's favorite uncle and so Jason used that name in honor of her family. " Good morning Dad, I cannot wait until you see my costume. Grandma Monica helped me decide." Martin says " Yeah Dad Uncle Johnny helped me pick out mine and Jake decided to let the cat out of the bag and is going as Grandpa Edward." Jason mutters of course. " The best twin is here, let's get this show on the road." Jason says " Jake cut it out." They make their way to school and they have a good day at school.

Since it is a Friday night he is letting Q's stay and his wife is out of town on business. Jason gets a phone call from Max and tells him he needs to come to Sonny's immediately. He makes his way over there and what he says will haunt him for days to come. Sonny's body is mutilated, along with half the guards, he even sees Elizabeth's parents' bodies along with her sister and the last one is Carly's. He breaks down and drops to his knees at all of this death. He knows he has killed people but this is beyond brutal. His two best friends are dead. He makes his way over to her body and sees a note attached from Elizabeth and it reads " TSK TSK TSK I told you to give up on me but you did not listen. I heard you and you believe there is good in me and that I am your light. Considering this message proof. None of these people matter to me but they mattered to your children. This is my final warning because if you keep up this manhunt the 15 people I killed will look like a picnic and if you make it the next time I will kill your wife in front of you and your family." He must be a masochist because even though she caused him all this pain and death he still loves her. This makes him more determined than ever that she is still reachable because she would never have gone this far if he did not strike a chord. Jason thinks you won the battle but not the war.
